Everyone was looking at Dak, who was now holding a brand-new sword.

"I know that sword," said Summer. "It's the same one that creepy guy had earlier."

"That weapon?" the Purple Orca stared. "Why does he have it?"

"Dak?" said Hannahr, looking concerned.

"What's going on here?" Fingard asked.

Dak would like to know that himself. 'This sword has tons more dark power flowing into it than the one I used before. I've got to stay focused. I can't go against the flow; I must take it in. Think like it's a part of my body.'

He took a deep breath, concentrated, and found his centre. He then raised the sword high into the air, and the poison that had infected Duggard and the other infected villagers began to disappear.

"What is this?" Hannahr stared.

"Look, the poison is disappearing!"

'Please, this has to work,' Dak pleaded.

Duggard opened his eyes, confused, and Dak beamed, as did all the other villagers.

"Chief!" everyone cried in relief.

"What? I'm alive?" said Duggard surprised. "Or am I dreaming? I thought this was the end of me."

"No, Dak saved you."

"I was so worried," Fingard cried. "Dak, you really are amazing, you know that?"

"He's okay," Dak smiled. "Oh, man, and this sword is crazy powerful. I can barely control the thing."

He then looked at the sword and got an idea. 'Wait, that's it. Maybe now that I have this, I can find a way to change everyone back to normal.'

The Purple Orca was still stunned by what had just happened. 'He managed to eradicate all of the poison's effects. I don't believe it.'

"You should focus on the opponent right in front of you," said Leyla as she began to concentrate. "Mana Zone: Crescent Moon Sickle, Four Blades!"

She then unleashed blades of wind straight at him, which cut right through his vines.

"What? Why? And how?" he gasped. "You're under the same reincarnation spell as the rest of us. So why is the will of your human host still in control?" He then turned his eyes to Dak. "And you… that blade belongs to Licht. So, how did he get into filthy hands? What's more, someone without any magic power should be able to wield it at all. How is this possible?"

He began ruffling his hand through his hair, looking incredibly frustrated and confused.

"Who are you anyway?!" he yelled, and everyone could sense his anger intensifying inside. "You sicken me. You insufferable, putrid human garbage!"

He then suddenly began to have memories of 300 years back when he was preparing flowers for the upcoming wedding.

"Oh good," he said. "Now I can make it to Licht's wedding after all."

Rhya then approached him. "Don't tell me you're going to give him those freaky flowers as a present. That's a bad move."

"What?" he frowned. "You don't think you'll like them? But they're pretty, and they're not the poisonous kind either."

"They're lovely," said a voice.

They turned around and saw Licht approaching them.

"Licht?" they said.

"And they have a special meaning; kindness dwells within," Licht added. "They appear poisonous, so elves and birds don't disturb them. Since the insects know that, these flowers are a sanctuary to them."

He then bent down and stretched out one of the flowers. "Between elves in humanity is the same thing. We lack an understanding, so we avoid each other. Tetia is going to enjoy these, too. Thank you."

"Sure, of course."

However, at the wedding, the elves were completely massacred, and Tetia's bouquet, which was made of those same flowers, was crushed.

"We tried to understand, and they made it perfectly clear that they were all monsters," the elf yelled as his anger consumed him. "Humans, I can never forgive you! So stay out of our way, or you're dead!"

His vines then grew larger, and they became much more violent. When Dak looked at him, it reminded him of the rage the Third Eye went through when they were pushed into a corner.

"I felt this before," said Dak.

"Humans, humans, humans!" the elf yelled repeatedly.

"He's not even trying to hold back his magic," said Summer. "He can't control himself."

"You're right; his mana says it all," said Leyla. "The elf spirit inside of him is crying out in pain."

'Is it possible… are the elves asking for help?' said Dak and then looked at Leyla. "Hey, Ley!"

Leyla nodded. "Let's go, Dak! He's turning into something that's not an elf at all. We should set him free."

She then unleashed a powerful blast of wind at him, but the lead from the flowers moved on to block the attack.

"What's happening?" Hannahr asked.

"It looks like he just blocked Leyla's attack," said Fingard.

"I've made you a path, Dak!" Leyla yelled. "Now strike!"

Dak had jumped into Leyla's tornado and used it to carry himself over towards the elf. He plunged his new sword into him, and his magic power faded. A few seconds later, he returned to a regular human and collapsed.

'Did he undo the Reincarnation Magic?' Leyla stared.

Dak was just as surprised as he looked at his new sword. 'Now that I have this sword, I can save them.'

Nero, who had been watching the confrontation, flew down and landed on Dak's head.

"So, did it work?" Summer asked.

"Yeah, though I'm not sure how," said Dak as he looked at the sword. "I think this new sword is able to dispel any form of magic like it was never cast."

"Either way, it looks as if we have a way to turn everyone back now," said Leyla. "We just need to figure out how to do it on a massive scale. Turning everyone back one by one is not going to cut it."

"We'll figure something out," said Dak.

"Dak!" Fingard cried, immediately hugging him.

"Leyla!" said a small girl hugging her.

"We thought he was going to kill us all, but then you showed up in time to stop it," said Fingard with tears in his eyes. "You're so brave."

"You were brave to Fingard, protecting the others like that," said Dak.

"Thank you for saving us," said the little girl.

"We were happy to help," said Summer.

Some of the smaller children then saw Summer and immediately became mesmerised.

"Whoa, look, she's so tiny and beautiful."

"Yeah, she's like a doll."

They immediately tried to grab her, and she quickly flew away out of their reach.

"Leave me alone!" she cried.

Duggard, who was being supported by Hannahr as they made their way over to Dak and Leyla.

"Dak… Leyla…" said Duggard.

"Duggard," said Leyla.

"You okay?" Dak asked.

"Of course, I'm a bit dizzy, but I'll survive," he assured them. "The poisonous fading from the other villagers as well. We can't thank you enough for this."

"It would seem as if both of you have become so strong," said Hannahr.

"Uh, Leyla, your ears are all pointing now," Fingard noted.

"It's a long story," said Summer.

"Now that's all over with. Do you two know what's going on in the kingdom?" Duggard asked. "It's like a no crisis ensues before we're able to recover from the last."

"We don't have a lot of time, but we had better explain," said Dak, looking at Leyla."

"Yeah, who knows when another resurrected elf might attack this place," Leyla agreed.

"Either way, no matter what it takes…" said Dak.

"We'll keep this kingdom safe," they vowed.

At the Royal capital, chaos was everywhere, but King Clover didn't appear to be aware of it as he slept in his bedchamber.

"Your Majesty!" said a Guardian mage storming into his bedchamber. "Your Majesty!"

King Clover then immediately awoke.

"There is trouble, sir!" said the mage as he kneeled.

"What's all the noise about?" King Clover demanded. "You better have a good reason to disturb my beauty rest."

"I apologise, my liege, but we have an emergency. There are several mages attacking the Royal capital as we speak."

"Things of that nature tend to be Julius' responsibility," said King Clover dismissively.

"Actually, sir, there was a report that the Wizard King is mortally wounded. He was so wounded that he appointed Captain Hiccup of the Black Dragons to act in his stead. The Magic Knight headquarters is in total chaos."

"Is that true?!" King Clover gasped. "He made that foreigner in charge of our military? There again, I don't really mind."

"What?" the mage stared.

"Because now it is finally might to have the spotlight," said King Clover gleefully. "It was always the same thing with Julius. Every time I got a chance to shine, he'd ruin it, but for the first time ever, I'm calling the shots. So, send out an urgent message to all the Magic Knight captains. I need them to assemble immediately!"

"Uh, Captain Hiccup already issued an order. He also claims that some vengeful spirits have possessed several of the Magic Knights and are now attacking us."

"What did you say?" King Clover stared.

"Apparently, Langus has escaped for entertainment, and he appears to be leading the rebellion with the rest of the Golden Dawn at his side."

Meanwhile, the Midnight Suns base was still floating above the kingdom, heading towards the capital.

"Seems like our other reincarnated friends have already gotten the party started," said Rhya as they watched the chaos below. "It would be nice if they'd save some fun for us, but I won't count on it."

"Well, can you blame them?" said Klaus, smiling. "Even someone as calm as I am couldn't resist slaughtering those humans."

"Ha, you may act calm, but he looks pretty am to have in that last fight," Rhya smirked.

Klaus narrowed his eyes at him.

"But yeah, I don't think I can hold back either," said Rhya. His memories then turned to Dak, who wanted them to coexist. 'Sorry, kid, but no one is going to stand in our way any more. Those two should be awakening at any moment. You might as well throw in the towel.'

The Royal Knights were making their way back to the Royal capital as quickly as they could.

"I could feel an enormous amount of magic power, and then it disappeared," said Maple.

"That's true, it was really intense, but whatever it was, I'm sure they're okay," said Adelaide confidently. "They promised they would meet us at the Royal capital, so all we can do is trust them."

"Yeah, we got to give it our best shot, for their sake," Maple nodded.

"Those two were sure about their decision," said Snotlout. "You should concentrate on what you need to do as well."

"Got it," said the girls.

Dak and Leyla were eating as they explained the situation to Duggard and everyone else.

"And then we have to fight against this superstrong person named Licht," said Dak.

"Even fighting together, we weren't able to beat him," said Leyla.

"Let me see, you said that some of your fellow Magic Knights have been possessed by elf spirits that want to kill humans," said Duggard. "Is that correct?"

"That's about sums it up," said Dak.

"My, that certainly seems quite the task," said Hannahr.

"Though if it wasn't for this catastrophe, I wouldn't be able to see just how strong the two of you have become," said Duggard, looking at Dak and Leyla.

"Excuse me," said a voice behind them.

They all jumped and saw the Purple Orca from earlier, who had now regained consciousness.

"Oh, I see that you regained consciousness," said Leyla.

"Yeah, but don't sneak up on us like that," said Dak.

"Oh, sorry," he apologised. "Oh, thank you for rescuing me from the elf possessing my body. My name is Digit Taliss."

Dak was rather surprised that his personality was completely different from that of the elf and appeared to be rather timid.

"Is this what you actually like?" Dak asked.

"Why would you say that?" said Digit. "Of course, this is what I'm actually like. How did I get myself into this mess? Oh, I should probably mention that I'm a member of the Purple Orcas. As some already know, our former captain was involved in bribery and other kinds of corruption. So I was patrolling the Forsaken Realm, looking for ways to rebuild our squad rotation."

Earlier this morning, Digit was wandering around the Demon skull, where he discovered several interesting plants.

"Wow, endangered horseface berries, I don't believe it," he said excitedly. He then began to study some carnivorous plants he discovered. "And this carnivorous species can't be found in any Cyclopedia. Who knew the Forsaken Realm was a treasure trove of rare plans you don't see in the capital."

He wandered through the forest until it was dark when he discovered he was lost. Then suddenly, he found himself covered in a bright light and transformed into an elf.

'As I wandered through the forest, I ended up getting lost; the next thing I knew, I wasn't myself anymore. I then started attacking the village.'

"I still don't know what's going on," he said, confused. "I mean, everything happened so quickly."

"Stop panicking," said Leyla.

"Although there is one thing I do know," he said, looking at the two of them. "That elf spirit who took over my body, whoever it was, he didn't want this. He didn't approve of all this hatred and violence. It wasn't his choice."

Dak looked at Leyla. "Come on, Ley. We'll save everyone, the elves and the humans."

"Yeah," Leyla nodded.

"Wait, you're leaving already?" said Fingard.

"But you just got back home."

"Don't forget the Magic Knights, which means they have to safeguard the kingdom, and they can't do that here," said Hannahr.

Duggard looked at them. "You two take care of yourselves; I have a feeling that things only get rougher from here on out."

"Don't worry, we will," Leyla promised.

Digit then approached them. "I'm sorry, but would it be fine if I came along with you? Despite my demeanour, I am a Magic Knight."

"Yeah, come on," said Dak.

"Let's get going," said Leyla.

She then used her magic to create a ride for them, and they began to make their way towards the capital.

"See ya later!" Dak waved. "We're going to save the Clover Kingdom!"

Everyone waved goodbye.

"Take care!" said Hannahr.

"Thank you for all the letters and the money!" Duggard yelled. "But nothing is better than you coming home safe!"

"Do be careful out there!" said Hannahr.

"We'll be back!" Dak yelled.

"That's a promise!" said Leyla.

Duggard smiled at them. "They'll save the kingdom. Our little Dak, who's never been able to use magic at all, and Leyla, who used to be so timid, broke into tears so easily. You both grew up so quickly that it's unbelievable. Now take care of yourselves."

Out in the forest, Magnus was still training hard when both he and Vanessa noticed the hideout floating above them.

"What's up with that giant rock in the sky?" Magnus asked.

Luck was standing out of the gigantic hole that Licht had made.

"Oh boy, I think it's finally time for me to have some fun for real," he said.

He jumped out of the hideout and headed straight towards the nearest town.

Dak and the others were still making their way towards the Royal capital.

"After all that, we're super behind; we should hurry," said Dak.

Leyla's eyes then widened. "I sense elven magic up ahead. It's coming from the East and West."

"It's just a guess, but maybe even more Magic Knight have got possessed and started attacking humans," said Digit. "What should we do? Aren't we supposed to go to the capital?"

"Even if they live out here, they're still citizens of the Clover Kingdom," said Dak.

"That's that, then," said Leyla.

"Since there are two places in danger, perhaps we should split up," Digit suggested.

"Good idea, that way, we can protect everybody," said Dak. He then looked at Leyla. "Ley, since I've got this sword, I can return our friends to their regular selves. Since you don't have that power, it's best that you bring some extra manpower with you."

Leyla nodded. "Sounds like a plan."

"I do have a name, you know," said Digit.

"You ready?"

"Of course."

"See ya at the capital!" they said in unison.
