"How could you do this to us?"

"It's a shame. Your actions are as futile as your existence. I was hoping to see more of what they say you are capable of."

Kaminari chewed the popcorn, staring intently at the screen before passing it to the red head next to him. Some of the students in 1-A were watching a movie in the common room.

"HEY! That was all thanks to my idea. Just toss the keys away and pretend like nothing happened."

"You idiot! That's my idea."

"Woah, nowit is our last time together. How about we go celebrate?"

"I could go for a drink! Who's coming?"

"I am,but I'm broke."

"The bill's on me, you guys!"

"You rejoice withstanding the grave situation we would encounter after this."

"Live your life to the fullest, dude."

"Revelry in darkness." Tokoyami commented, with most of them sweatdropping.

"I'm with Tokoyami on this one." Jirou asserted with her mouth stuffed with popcorn, making her friends giggle.

"I wonder... what will happen next?" Kirishima said it excitedly. Once he said that, the TV seemed to be turned off. Everyone in the room groaned. Kaminari began by complaining about why the TV went off. Just when Shoji was about to check on it, a voice called out to him, telling him not to bother.

"Well, if it isn't class 1-A? Slacking off, what a coincidence." A blonde-haired boy walked in with a few of his classmates next to him. In a second, he was knocked out by Kendo with a swift chop to the neck. She apologized for his behavior, which they easily passed since it was normal, but she couldn't help but be grateful to her.

The rest of the students came down to the room. Including the demon slayers, they were introduced to their friendly rival class as Kendo and Monoma glanced their way.

Monoma felt a hand placed on his shoulder, and turning, he saw the dual quirk wielder. "We need to talk."

*

"What do you want to talk about?" Monoma glanced at Todoroki. To his side was Kendo, who was also called; he doesn't have anything to do with him. Especially the ash blonde next to the dual-haired boy.

"Is he needed in this conversation?" Bakugou eyed Monoma viciously, trying his best not to get angry. Kendo almost hit him again but restrained herself from doing so since they needed to talk.

"He is. A week ago, a person got past the school's security system without triggering the alarm. That day we went for a PE session on the PE grounds. The next day, our teacher was injured." Kendo and Monoma knew where this was getting at. They knew what he wanted to know.

"He said that they appeared in the school building, and you two were known to first spot them. They were interrogated the next day after their appearance, and Mr. Aizawa stated that he was placed in charge of watching them." He continued.

"So I wanted to ask. Do you have any idea who our new classmates might be?" Monoma smiled slightly at the two in front of him.

"How would we know?" The rest of them were silent, watching the boy continue. "It took you guys a long time to realize it. From what you said, it is obvious that all the details point to them."

"The fact that it was only the two of you who recognized this shows how idiotic the rest of your class is." Bakugo grabbed Monoma by the collar, pinning him against the wall.

"What did you say!? I dare you to say that again." He gripped on tighter to his shirt, grabbing the others attention.

"Bakugo, stop." Todoroki called out to him.

"Only I can call those losers idiots, including Half and Half here. True, they haven't realized it yet. Still, it doesn't give you the right to call them whatever you like." Monoma's smile faltered. He was used to seeing Bakugo with his angry look or wicked smile, but this was different. Honestly, he finds it more entertaining and immature anytime the blonde says he would murder someone. No one should be surprised if it were Bakugo.

Todoroki can't say he was not feeling anything towards Monoma for what he said. But right now, they have to prioritize and seize the moment they have. After releasing him, Monoma readjusted his shirt, staying as far away from the boy as possible.

"I think I'll continue now." Kendo faced the two boys. "Honestly, we have no idea who they are. We found them unconscious in the school hallway. From what we saw, they wore uniforms and traditional haori's. The alarms didn't go off either."

"So they just popped up from nowhere?" Bakugo asked with his back leaning against the wall.

"It seems that it is the only reasonable explanation." Kendo replied.

"That's bullshit! Who the hell just pops up from nowhere?" Bakugo muttered, facing Todoroki. "Unless they teleported, But that damn villain who warps is in prison."

"Yeah, that is true. So how else could they have gotten here?"Todorki pondered, glancing at Kendo and Monoma.

"Wait, have we even tried to consider whether they are bad guys or not?" The three boys looked at Kendo.

"We never said they were villains or anything." Monoma responded.

"Something doesn't sit right with me about them. What you said might be true, but they are considered total enigmas, as we barely know anything about them, why they transferred suddenly, and when we knew about it in your class of an interference in the system." Todoroki explained

"I see."

"We'll just go head-on with them. They can't fool me." Bakugo stated. Todoroki nodded in agreement; the only way they could get what they needed was to ask them directly.

"May I come in?" Tanjirou knocked, standing behind the door, which he assumed was locked. Soon, he heard a response giving him permission to enter. The boy slowly opened the door, entering the room. The room was simplistic, with flowers on the desks and corners of the room. The room might even be bigger than where he and the boys sleep. His eyes scanned the girl braiding another girl's hair. The latter was cheerfully humming, while the former was silently enjoying this. Tanjirou let his eyes stay on the two girls for a few seconds. This was certainly one of her most peaceful states.

"Kanao, Nezuko." The two girls stopped their respective actions to see the boy smiling at them. Tanjirou didn't have time to react as his sister approached him quickly and hugged him. Tanjirou reciprocated the hug in return.

'I'm so glad you are here with me, Nezuko.'

"Is there anything you need?" Kanao asked when Nezuko sat down for the girl to resume the braid.

"I wanted to check on Nezuko, and I also wanted to ask if you could help me with my math." Tanjirou sat opposite the two.

"I'll help," Kanao said.

"Thank you, Kanao." The boy immediately brightened. "You are very good at this."

"I used to watch my sisters in the butterfly mansion when they braided each other's hair. This is my first time."

"Wow. That's amazing." Tanjirou smiled. There was something different about his friend. "You know, Kanao, you are more peaceful nowadays."

"It should be because we aren't off fighting demons and risking our lives every day like we usually do."

"That may be part of the reason, but... you listened to the voice in your heart rather than flipping your coin. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed." Kanao blinked at the boy with her mouth slightly open. She remembered when her sister demanded her presence. She told her that she was more social than before and made more decisions on her own than using her coin all the time.

'Could he be?'

"TANJIROU! KANAO!" A piercing scream interrupted the heartfelt moment. The door slammed open, showing Zenitsu, who had a fearful look in his eye. Judging from the way his eyes dilated, the two noticed something was definitely wrong with the blonde. Nezuko perked up at the sound of Zenitsu, her mouth slightly open.

"You have to come and see this!!" Rushing into the common room, everyone there was gathered looking at the TV.

"What's going on?" Tanjirou asked with the three beside him. Genya is unable to form words pointed at the TV.

"Five dead bodies were sighted at a park last night. Entries here stated that it was a family of five. They were last seen at 7 p.m. by the security when they were leaving, and 30 minutes later, their bodies were found hidden among the bushes. The police and heroes are currently investigating the matter. Forensic detectives have been sent to the scene today."

Tanjirou felt his body shaking. It wasn't from fear alone. He was raging inside completely.

'Innocent lives.'

"What the hell?"

"Who could have done this?"

"That poor family." Midoriya clenched his fist in agony. If only a hero was there, they wouldn't have died. Class 1-A couldn't do anything; the deed has already been done.

The slayers eyes narrowed at the TV scene. This did not go unnoticed by Bakugo, as he wondered how Deku 2.0's face could darken within a short amount of time.

"Don't do anything, Rash!" Their teacher spoke up.

"Aizawa sensei!" They were surprised.

"I know you all want to do something. You want to save them. What I can tell you is that you all should stand down. Leave this to the pro-heroes." There were a few protests, but he told them to be quiet.

"You might have gotten your provisional licenses, but that doesn't mean you can do this all the time. You are still students." The class quieted down and went into deep thought.

"This is giving me creepy bad vibes, alright." Mineta mumbled. As he said that, he noticed the people that were next to him were nowhere to be found.

" Eh? Where did the new guys go??"The class members realized that none of the Kamaboko squad were present in the room anymore. Their teacher didn't respond and just left for the elevator.

"That was weird." Kaminari spoke, breaking the silence.

"I agree." Sero joined.

Bakugou gave a knowing look to Todoroki, who simply nodded in understanding. Kirishima questioned why they didn't bother to stay so long in the common room. . Mineta suggested that maybe they were scared.

"I'm worried about them." Uraraka spoke. "Shouldn't we go check on them?"

"I agree. We have to make sure that everyone is not feeling too tense about the situation." Yaoyorozu addressed the rest of the class.

"You are not leaving." The slayers furrowed their eyebrows. Genya's eye twitched. What in the world was this guy saying? Aizawa stood in front of the teenagers.

"We have to! We have to stop them. There is only one thing capable of hurting people to that extent." Aizawa knew they were talking about demons. Honestly, he still doubted them about that part and didn't fully trust their vigilante duties.

"You are still kids," the man replied.

"Listen here, Dadzawa! If you don't let us through, I'll force my way out myself." Inosuke fumed impatiently.

"Look, I get it."

"No, you don't." Genya cut him short. "If we don't do anything now..."

"More people will die," Kanao continued.

"So please..." Zenitsu joined in.

"Let us through." Tanjirou finished.

Aizawa glanced at each of them. He let out a deep sigh before opening his eyes.

"Alright. But you have two conditions."

"One, do not die, and two, you must not be found."

Tanjirou nodded. " Understood."

Todoroki was quietly eating his soba till he looked up, seeing Inosuke and Bakugo arguing.

"What did you call me, shitty boar?! "

"Come and fight me!"

Gently, he picked up his bowl of noodles and walked to the other side of the room, far away from the two.

"Next, Chapter 13: Bonding."
