Akaza frowned, seated on a rooftop while overlooking the city. Days have passed since he and his fellow demons appeared in this so-called place, yet there has been no sign of their beloved master. After they met last time, he looked everywhere he was capable of checking, but there was still no sign of Master Muzan. Should he just give up or regroup with the two uppermoons?

He sighed inwardly, crossing his legs and debating between the two options. Giving up, an attribute he hated, especially in the weak; on the other hand, meeting his seniors would lead is something he refused to do. He definitely doesn't like Kokushibo and hates Douma more. Perhaps if it were the Biwa lady, he would, but there was no sign of her either.

A squeal attracted his attention. His eyes darted below, seeing a young girl running away from what seemed to be her fiancé. Was it a game? His eyes continued following them as the young man caught up to the girl, both of them laughing softly and continuing their walk. Akaza felt his stomach churning. Where has he felt this sensation before? His eyes gaped slowly as the gentle breeze flew through the air. A soft voice called his name.

"Hakuji." He mumbled quietly.

"Eh! Lord Akaza. Yoo~hoo! Down here." A vein popped up from the corner of the uppermoon's head. Suddenly, he stood up to leave, praying that Douma wouldn't follow him anymore.

Out of nowhere, Douma appeared in front of the scowling demon. "I thought it would be nice if we worked together to find Master Muzan. How about it? hmm."

"Get out of my way." Douma obliged, making Akaza a little conscious; nevertheless, he left, not looking back.

"So have you considered me teaming up with you?" Akaza flinched and jumped a safe distance away from the latter.

"What the hell? I told you to get out of my way."

"I did. Now, your path is free."

"Well, then stop following me."

"But you haven't answered me yet."

"Go to hell."

"That wasn't nice of you, Lord Akaza."

"Then go team up with the upper one."

"He disappeared without a trace."

"Then look for him, you idiot. I'm not your babysitter." Akaza finally stated this and ran away as fast as he could. Douma blankly stared at his disappearing figure before pouting and going in the other direction.

' Why can't I move?'

' This presence is so overwhelming.'

'So this is the upper one. The strongest Kizuki. It's aura is absolutely terrifying, not to mention the thick scent I detected from it.'

Tanjirou couldn't stop fidgeting; his hands were shaky as he tried to reach his sword. His eyes darted to his friend's side. Zenitsu could barely move as he held shaky breaths while Inosuke was struggling to reach for his sword.

'This demon is bad news. Any wrong move, and we might end up with our heads off.'

Inosuke straightened himself.

'But...'

"Is my presence so thick that you can't even stand?" Tanjirou flinched his eyes, meeting the demon. "To think that you are the same demon slayers who are going up against Master Muzan." His eyes drifted to Zenitsu.

"Look, your comrade has been paralyzed on the spot. Shaky hands, sweaty palms, unease. I could go on." Inosuke gritted his teeth behind his mask, and with the willpower he had, he gripped his sword.

Tanjirou gaped in shock, looking at the spot where the demon once stood. Inosuke felt his hair standing at its end. He could feel the demon's presence behind him. He reacted seconds after bringing down his sword at the demon.

To his shock, the upper moon was no longer next to him. The boar mask he wore was supposedly split into two. Zenitsu, who had just gained his composure, became stupefied.

'I couldn't even hear a sound from that demon.'

'He's fast.'

"Although killing you would be the required thing to do at the moment, I have something more to deal with." Kokushibo said finally before disappearing into the night.

"Wait!" It was too late. The three boys stood awestruck by what just happened. Inosuke grabbed his mask, a vein popping from the corner of his head as his teeth gritted.

Ever since last night, the three boys have been relatively quiet. Tanjirou told them of their experience and encounter with the demons last night.

"Wait. What is an uppermoon?" Midoriya asked, fumbling with his pen.

"They are demons that are part of the twelve kizuki. They are different from the regular demons in terms of strength, speed, regeneration, and other variable aspects. The lower six are called lower moons, while the others are upper moons. These uppermoons are basically the closest to the demon king. However, there hasn't been any news of what became of the lowermoons. The rank of uppermoons ranges from six to one. So far, three uppermoons have been eliminated." Kanao broke down the situation.

"So, in other words, they are crazy strong." Bakugo added his arms while seated. Their teachers, including the principal, listened with rapt attention.

"You were able to defeat three, yes?" The girl nodded to the principal.

" Yes. Although to defeat an uppermoon, it requires at least two hashiras." The class gulped.

"At least?!" All might be stated in disbelief.

Mineta's face paled. "It's over, really."

Kanao has been the only one speaking. She cast worried glances toward Tanjirou once in a while and the others. Nezuko was comforting Zenitsu; her presence made him feel a bit better, while Inosuke watched as Yaoyorozu tried to sew his mask back in place.

"We won't let anyone die. We took an oath to get rid of demons and Muzan. We can achieve it if we work together." Tanjirou affirmed. Each of them glanced at the boy. "Besides, I swore that I would turn Nezuko back to a human again."

"That explains her eyes." Nezu hummed. Instantly, Mineta backed away from the girl. "She's a demon?"

"Well, Yes. She is. She is a good one and doesn't attack humans."

"I see. Well, in this case, we need to develop a plan on how to take care of these demons." Aizawa spoke, gaining several nods.

"In that case, can we join you?"

There stood on the door Tsukauchi, Endeavor, and Hawks. Endeavor was practically taller than the two men on his sides when he walked into the room. The class was stunned, not expecting the number one and two heroes in their dorms. No one let them in.

All might raise an eyebrow. " Detective?"

"We have some matters to discuss with the demon slayers. It is urgent." Endeavor spoke instead. His eyes glanced across the unfamiliar faces in the room, pinpointing who they were. Hawks callously trailed behind the hero.

"Now, where do we start?" He sat down on the nearest chair with a serious expression.

What Heroes Do

"Aren't you three the famous members of class 1-A? It's an honor meeting you." Midoriya quirked an eyebrow at the three in front of him. They weren't from here now, were they? Judging from their accent,.

"Who are you?" Todoroki demanded in a cautious tone, readying his right hand.

"Hm? I'm sorry I didn't catch that."

"What Half and Half meant to say was, Who the hell are you bastards?!"

A playful smile tugged on his partner's lips. "Well, of course, we are heroes just like you."

The top three students in class 1-A are off to face another challenge that could threaten their friends and hero careers.

"Finally, it's about time I got my own damn book."

"Technically, it is the three of us." Todoroki pointed this out.

"No one asked you, Icy Hot."

"Oh, hey, Todoroki, Kacc-" Midoriya appeared

"Where have you been, Deku?"

"Sorry, I had to check on Tanjirou and the others. Yaoyorozu is finishing up with Inosuke's mask. If only I could help."Midoriya trailered off, clenching his fist.

"What do you mean?" Midoriya looked up to see Todoroki. "We are going to help them anyway we can."

"I'll pummel anyone who ruins my chance to become the number one hero, including those damn demons." Bakugo grunted, looking at the broccoli-haired boy.

"Okay then. Next: Chapter 20: Cherished siblings. We'll do everything in our power to get them back home."

"And destroy those demons!"
