"What a pain." Muichiro mumbled. The officers were doing their best to stop the bleeding of the cat mutant officer so that the ambulance would get here on time. Something feels off about this place, according to Muichiro. It was like a place where supernatural activities were bred. Just like the blood demon arts of demons.
The presence of the demon slayers was attracting attention from bystanders nearby. A news reporter and a cameraman dashed to the scene so as to give an update on the news and what was happening in the vicinity, as they happened to be nearby.
Without much thought, Obanai and Sanemi exchanged nods. With that, all the slayers dashed off, and the wind pillar grabbed onto the mist pillar as they ran off.
"Retreating? What about the demon?" Muichiro asked, looking up at Sanemi.
"Right now, there are too many people watching. Again, it must be some kind of demon art if they have no idea what it is. We just have to find out who tranced them into it." Sanemi clicked his tongue as they turned sharply to a corner on the left. He dropped the boy as they all came to an abrupt stop.
"Damn... This place is confusing. Where are we?" Obanai furrowed his eyebrows, ignoring the looks of people nearby. Mitsuri grabbed his arm, pulling him aside from the flash grenade aimed at them. Before they could react, the light blinded them temporarily.
The five slowly opened their eyes, only to be surrounded by police cars and a bunch of officers aiming their armed weapons at them.
"Why are these fuckers hell bent on arresting us?" Sanemi grunted.
"Keep them at bay till the heroes get here. We can't let them escape." The chief yelled to his men.
"What a joke." The chief shivered slightly at the snake pillar that swiftly passed by him. It felt like a snake slithered past him with ease. Sanemi and Giyuu leapt over the cars, while Muichiro ran past them with ease.
"Please excuse us." Mitsuri apologized, dashing behind him.
To put it briefly, this entire event can be summarized as absolute chaos. Villains nearby took advantage of the situation by bolting into action. The civilians were more puzzled over the people the police were after. They were dressed in the Taisho period and carried swords with them.
"This place..." Obanai began next to Shinazugawa.
"It's a damn maze!" Sanemi finished for him. Sirens rang across the streets, pursuing the slayers. The five gave each other knowing looks and split up. Just like that, the officers became confused and split up in their respective mobiles.
Mitsuri, Muichiro, and Obanai continued on the right side. Peering at a few restaurants, Obanai gaped wide-eyed at the sight of a mutant-type "demon." His eyes narrowed, and his facial expression turned dark. He cursed Muzan as he and Mitsuri continued.
Sanemi didn't complain about Giyuu. This was a matter that needed to be urgently tackled together. He shoved a few people aside, with the others trailing behind him. The sirens were farther from them, meaning they were able to cut them loose.
None of them could understand what was going on, especially since demons and humans were co-existing. A traffic light shone green for the vehicles to move; the pursued had to cause trouble there too. A truck happened to hit the brakes, and cars and buses slammed into one another.
"Look out." Giyuu yelled, skidding to a halt. A leg straight at the two, fortunately, the wind pillar avoided it in time just narrowly.
"Good thing I was in the area. I hope you are ready for me to kick your butts."Mirko declared with her usual wild grin. She got a call from someone saying that there was a culprit on the loose for stabbing an officer and stealing from the bank. Upon getting here, the entire street was in havoc.
"Alright, bring it on!" Sanemi challenged him back with a grin of his own.
"Better finish this quickly." Giyuu monotonously finished readying himself.
Meters away from the chaos, A towering figure emerged out of darkness into bright daylight, seemingly not aware of his environment. Not something that he was used to, a lot of noise emerged from various sources around him.
Tilting his head to the left, he started walking in that direction. A way was paved for him as he walked.
A white cat purred and meowed moving closer to the man before rubbing itself against him.
A cat?
Despite how busy everyone was, he felt at ease.
Oddly peaceful.
The cat ran off soon before he could react leaving the man alone. Gyomei frowned slightly dissapointed.
Where was he?
He picked up his pace leaving the sidelines into a car park. In that same car park, he heard a voice so familiar.
"Gyomei-san!" A small figure appeared next to him. Her voice held worriedness and relief at the same time.
"Kocho, I assume that is you. Do you have any idea where we are?"
" Honestly, I absolutely have no idea. However... I can say that this place is thriving with individuals with supernatural abilities." She explained.
Being one of the fastest Hashira , she scanner the entire vicinity ablt to determine a few factors.
"Demons." Gyomei said.
"A possibility to consider since both Demons and Humans are co-existing together."
"A blood demon art. We must execute this demon immediately and find Muzan." Gyomei frowned displeased at the news.
"Lead the way." Shinobu concluded.
Mitsuri squeaked leaping backwards from whatever appeared. Not long after they lost the cops, Another obstacle appeared.
"You Villains sure are persistent. I'll give you that." Gang orca stated.
"I don't think we should praise them. They'll get a big head." Kamui woods arrived at the scene as he swung to his side.
"At least it would lower their guard down."
Obanai's gaze landed at the two pure hatred swirling in his heterochromatic eyes.
Demons right now?
They were being looked down since they were humans. He was going to make sure they regret saying that.
Twice the pride, double the fall.
Kamui released his hand as it splitted into different branches. The three dodged almost too fast for the eye starting the hero for a second. Seeing this as an opportunity, They decided to target them in mid air.
The Killer whale leapt at the two males. He didn't understand how they were able to maneuver themselves in the air to shift their position.
"You remind me of an annoying fish I killed recently." Muichiro said nonchalantly.
"Don't make me regret not hitting you kid."
"Fishes don't talk either." A hand grabbed his leg and Obanai before tossing them to the side.
"Don't let your guard down Tokito." Obanai as he slid down a pole.
The Mist pillar luckily did not collide with the cold surface of the pavement. He nodded.
"Lacquered chain prison."
Mitsuri effortlessly swung her her katana at the woodcharging at her.she huffed doing a backflip midair as she continued to decimate and overpower the hero.
"What?!"
Was it even okay to call it a battle?
Muichiro and Obanai knew they weren't as strong as Gyomei even if they combined. The snake pillar slithered past the killer whale aiming his sword at his head with Muichiro doing the same.
"Damn it!" The hero stated atbeing overpowered.
Glancing at Kamui, he wasn't doing any better. The pink haired female has him cornered. If this keeps going... more trouble would pop up.
Just who the heck are these guys?
A barrage of kicks were aimed at the two pillars who blocked with their swords or nearly dodged the furious attacks. They would admit this thing was not only strong but incredibly fast and agile.
"Don't tell me you are tired already. I'm just getting warmed up." Mirko laughed as she pounced their way.
"Cheeky bastard." Sanemi brought up his sword blocking the kick and pushing her back. He wouldn't be surprised that it would have shattered due to the kick she landed. Mirko smirked twisting her body aiming for his head. Clicking his tongue, the man counter attacked by dodging at cutting part of her white hair on the side giving it an unequal length.
"Water breathing: fourth form, Striking tide."
Giyuu swung his sword at the bunny hero. She took notice of this and changed her position after gaining some cuts on her leg. Both pillars were too engrossed in the battle to ponder the appearance of water.
" Water eh? Not bad, you guys are getting me pumped. You also have me an unpleasant hairdo." She pointed at the scowling wind pillar. " Let's fight on." She squeezed her fist with another hand placed on her hip.
"Fuck off bitch. Wind breathing: First form: Dust whirlwind cutter." Sanemi dashed forward releasing his technique at the bunny hero. She swiftly leapt upwards and threw a foot at the man.
Giyuu stood in between them unleashing his first form. Doing, a 180 split and kicked him to the side.
"I haven't been this excited in a long time." Mirko smirked.
"Oi! We better finish this quickly." Sanemi yelled.
"Yeah." Giyuu straightened himself about to attack once again.
Taisho secret
* Gyomei felt something was a bit off after what Kocho stated.
* Mitsuri wondered if there was any mochi shop nearby.
* Giyuu was indeed surprised by the appearance of water from his sword and so was Sanemi when he saw his technique.

" I cant help but have a bad feeling about today." Genya spoke to Tanjirou.
"Huh? I can smell it too."
"Like you feel a dark murderous intent." Kanao comprehend to which they nodded.
"I hope it is not a demon this time." Zenitsu folded his arms.
Kaminari approached the group. " You guys, I think you should see this. Something bad showed up on the news."
"Way to jinx it." Kanao and Genya glared at the two blondes.
"What did I do?" Kaminari exclaimed.
"Anything but a demon." Zenitsu pleaded praying.
"Uh... Chapter 23: False truth." Tanjirou said.
