Two police officers stood on the front porch.
"Mr. Loud?" one officer said.
"Im Officer Jenkins. This is my partner Officer Brooks. We understand that you reported a break in?" Jenkins asked.
Lynn Sr nodded.
"Yes officers, i did. Come on in." Lynn held the door open as the officers stepped inside.
He closed the door.
Lynn Sr wrapped his arm around Rita.
"This is my wife Rita." he said. "And those are my children." He pointed to the couch where the kids sat or stood around.
Robyn gazed at the two officers with disinterest, silently wishing for them to leave.
Officer Brooks whipped out her notepad.
"So we went out for 6 hours earlier today and when we got back we discovered that something strange had happened." Lynn Sr started.
"Like what?" Jenkins asked.
"Well someone snooped through our room and messed with Lola's belongings and stole my reptiles." Lana said.
Brooks wrote down what Lana said.
"Someone also went through my room and stole my canary and destroyed my beloved puppet. Luan said. She glared at Lincoln.
Brooks scribbled in her notepad.
Leni piped up from behind the couch. "Someone also stole dad's goldfish." she said.
Jenkins and Brooks gazed at Leni.
Lincoln coughed. "Uh Leni? It seems more likely that our cat ate Dad's fish." Lincoln told her gently.
Robyn stood up. "I better go find the cat."
Robyn went into the wall.
"What do you mean?" Leni asked being as clueless as ever.
"Well if someone did steal Dad's fish, they'd have taken the whole fishbowl and not the fish itself." Lincoln said.
Cliff walked into the room and began to purr, nuzzling Rita's ankles.
Rita picked the cat up.
"Mind if we take a look around sir? Jenkins asked.
Lynn Sr. nodded.
Brooks headed towards the stairs while Jenkins went in the kitchen.
Brooks turned left and gazed into the room at the end of the hall.
She was amazed at the size of the room.
"The boy resides here? Its the size of a closet." Brooks said to herself.
She did a thorough search of the upstairs rooms.
She took note of the reptile tanks, empty bird cage and the ruined puppet.
Scribbling in her notebook she headed towards the stairs.
Noticing Cliff at the top of the stairs, she patted him on the head.
She headed downstairs. Robyn grabbed Cliff and yanked him into the wall.
After speaking with Lynn for a few minutes the two officers departed.
Jenkins and Brooks began walking across the lawn towards their patrol car. Hearing a call coming from her shoulder radio Brooks answered the call.
She didnt see the blur that tackled Jenkins and dragged him under the car.
Once she got off the radio she went to the car and opened the door.
She froze upon noticing Jenkins wasn't in the driver's seat.
"Jenkins!" she called.
She grabbed her radio and called for Jenkins.
Instead of receiving an answer, she heard a thud as someone landed on the car's roof.
Looking up she noticed Robyn grinning at her, holding Jenkins badge.
Tossing it aside, Robyn tackled Brooks and and duger teeth into her throat.
