Daemon of Wrath: First of all, let's not call Petty Bakugou, There must be better names we can use to insult him. Second, I forgot the details about Tarnak being a persevering hard worker, so thanks for reminding me. Third, that's the plan when I decide to let Awakened grow stronger so Monarch will be more of a threat, able to unleash more powers and fare much better against the future Shadow Hero. The problem is to find him a capable host and I doubt he will take over Ryukyu since her entire existence is a mockery to him, a Faker. Your suggestion of making Gigantomachia as Legia's host is terrifying but also a genius idea. As for AFO, you're right, he's been too focused on quirks that he ignores the entire existence of quirk, but there's also a little hint of wariness as his dream to be a Demon Lord will be in complete danger, and if he believes the existence of magic, then he has no choice but to believe the existence of true Demon Lord, which Baran is canonically count as one. His demise will be hilarious, and I will keep it a secret until that particular chapter happens. Your idea of Quaresha turning Aldera into zombie puppets is another pure genius idea, hope you don't mind if I use that idea. Your ideas for hosts are very good, and the 1-B student is Jurota Shishida by the way. And for Bakugou, that's the plan.
acedragoon: I, uhm….don't need to apologize. I was simply voicing my opinion. Also, here's your list
Monarchs:
- Izuku Midoriya – Successor of Ashborn
- Eijirou Kirishima – Rakan's main choice of host
- Katsuki Bakugou – Baran's main choice of host
- Mina Ashido – Queresha's potential host
- Shoto Todoroki – Sillad's puppet and host candidate
- Tetsutetsu x2 – Tarnak's potential host
- Gigantomachia – Maybe Legia's host?
- ??? – Antares' future host
- ??? – Yogumurt's future host
Rulers (the names credited to Daemon of Wrath):
- Gang Orca – Alphaeus' (Brightest Fragment) Host
- Mirio Toogata – Ironcore's (Tenacious Fragment) Host
- ???
uchiha-rune: Thanks for the review again, reader-san. And yes, Izuku acquires [Talk no Jutsu] skill. XD
ProjectIceman: He IS the future King.
XLR8wuzhere: Indeed, a broken skill.
AnimeFan13579: That's true, but try to tell that to MHA's society. They simply believe a quirk named that way because it is scientifically accurate, despite what you mentioned debunks it, like how people in MHA believe Shinsou brainwashes people when in reality he hypnotizes them.
Whitemare: Thanks, for the review and support, and…..bro, you're too into ships. Don't expect such a twist because I hate complicated family drama, we already have one in the form of Todoroki. Also, thanks for letting me use the hero name. As for Antares, his pride will dismiss Ryukyu, as her entire existence is a mockery to him, a Faker. And bro, I already accept Mina as the Queresha's host, so no need to beg. ;
Anon: First, the students will get into the juvenile center. Second, they will get black marks, which makes it hard to get into any high school or college, and possibly a jobless future. If lucky enough, they'll be doing part-time jobs at grocery stores.
Kouteikuro: No sexs! They're 15, for god's sake! Even if this is fiction and life and death will help improve relationships, they were not ready for such heavy responsibility, at least that's what they believe. It's not prejudiced, more of a misunderstanding, given that there are no injuries on Izuku and piles of unconscious bodies near him. Also, Izuku's current appearance made him mistaken as a young adult, so out of context, it could be seen that way. As for Eijirou and Melissa, you'll just wait and see. Also, no more family drama! We have one in the form of Todoroki already! XD And yes, Melissa will be in UA, and how she'll get in will be explained later.
CALIC0: Your quirk idea is good, but his LIGER (I swear, I think this has unintentionally become a running gag) Therianthrope form is his magic gained through awakening in a dungeon.
stream187: Yes, I already plan for her to be one. For Legia, Gigantomachia is a much better host than Mt. Lady.
A few Days Later
Musutafu, Japan
"Come on, guys! We're almost there!!!"
The Trinity can be seen rushing in their UA High uniform. Izuku can be seen jumping around the rooftop while sometimes using [Polymorph] to swing into another building. Eijirou can be seen running on his 4 transformed limbs with a meat sandwich in his mouth. Ochako, meanwhile, rides her key-shaped staff like a witch's broom alongside them.
"Who was the one who believed it would be a good idea to go to an A-Rank dungeon in Kyoto during the morning of, oh, I don't know, our FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!?!?" Ochako made sure to emphasize her disbelief at the last part.
"I-It was my miscalculation! I wasn't expecting a crazy lunatic would blow a train rail with his explosive booger. I mean, who does that!?!" Izuku exclaims as he swings into another building.
"To be fair, that kind of thing isn't something we can calculate with enhanced intelligence." Eijirou points out.
"Not if we consider people's psyche into the calculations, and we end up getting a 0.271% chance it ever happens. And if we consider our luck…." Izuku trails off as the others stare at him. "…..okay, to be fair, I did admit I was at fault."
"Forget whose fault is it and just keep moving!" Leo exclaims as he pops out on Ochako's shoulder. "Aren't you all said you'll be late in what, 3 minutes!?"
"SHIT!!!" They all immediately sped up as fast as possible.
Meanwhile
U.A. High
"Huh, I thought they'd be here by now…."
Mirio can be seen standing at the front gate while looking at his phone, more specifically at the time displayed on his phone. Nejire and Amajiki stand next to Mirio, with Nejire pouting while Amajiki nervously shakes.
"What's taking them so long…." Nejire complains. "Don't tell me they're late on their first day of school."
"I….didn't expect them to be one of those students…" Amajiki mutters.
"Come on, guys. Give them a break, they are still interns." Mirio says, defending his kouhais. "Besides, they told me that a villain attacked the train they're riding…."
"Yeah, but how long are you going to wait them here?" Amajiki asks. "We're going to be late for our orientation."
"*Sigh* I guess, you have a point. I was hoping to give them a warm welcome…." Mirio sulks as the Big Three turns around and walks away. But, all of a sudden, the entire world slows down as the Trinity manages to take a single step next to the Big Three before time turns to normal and they disappear, a powerful gust of wind blows past the Big Three.
"W-what was that!?!" Nejire asks in shock, her hair is now a complete mess thanks to the wind.
"I-is that All Might!?!" Amajiki asks in a scared tone, his hair also turns messy.
"Nope, it's just them…." Mirio, who looks unaffected, replies with a big smile before the Big Three immediately rush towards their class. Meanwhile, the Trinity manages to reach the door in time as they pant tiredly. Eijirou turns his limbs back to normal as Ochako shrinks her staff into a life-sized key before Izuku uses [Essence of the Sea] to get rid of their sweats. They immediately tidy themselves up before taking a deep breath.
"…..okay, I admit, I'm a bit nervous," Izuku says as they all let out a small chuckle.
"Who doesn't? I mean, sure, I was nervous because we're almost late, but I was also nervous about the hero course." Ochako says. "I mean….this always been our dream…"
"And now we're here…..it was like a dream…" Eijirou says as Izuku nods.
"Well, the good news is, none of this is a dream…" Izuku says before looking at the two of them. "….I know I sound redundant, but I'm glad that I met you two….it led my life to a better path…."
"….same…" They both say in unison as they smile widely.
"Come on, let's see what the Hero course offers us!" Izuku says excitedly.
"I doubt it'll be as crazy as Magic and Dungeon." Eijirou chuckles.
"Lower your standards, please." Ochako giggles as Izuku reaches the door and slides it open.
"Put your legs down from the desk! It is disrespectful towards your classmate!!" The same boy with blue hair and glasses can be seen talking to one Katsuki Bakugou, who's placing his legs on top of his desk while leaning his back on the chair.
"Fuck off, you two-bit extra! Which school are you even from!?" Bakugou snarls at the boy. Izuku blankly stares at the scene before lowering his head, a dark aura covers his head. If anyone sees his face, they can see the utter disappointment Izuku displays in his expression. Eijirou and Ochako pet his back out of sympathy, chuckling nervously.
"I am Tenya Iida of the Soumei Junior High School." The boy introduces himself.
"Soumei, huh? So, a fucking elite. I guess there's a reason to end you at all." Katsuki says with a cruel smirk.
"E-end me!? Are you trying to be a hero with that kind of attitude!?" Iida asks in bafflement. Izuku sighs as he rubs the bridge of his nose.
"Don't bother with him," Izuku says, getting everyone's attention. "The poor dog's from Aldera, his view of heroism has been completely corrupted by those scumbags."
"Wait, Aldera? You mean the school that got shut down?"
"Yeah, and I heard a few days ago, most of the students got arrested and sent to the juvenile center."
"So, how did that guy get in again?"
"Maybe a victim?"
"I doubt it, I mean have you heard what he just said."
Izuku's enhanced senses caught every whisper in the class and he secretly enjoyed the moment, albeit with a hint of guilt noticeable on his face. Bakugou looks at Izuku with wide eyes before he snarls and puts down his legs. Before he could get up and charge at him, Izuku turned to look at the ground followed by Ochako and Eijirou.
"So, how long you'll stay on the ground?" Izuku asks getting everyone's attention as they look to see a giant yellow caterpillar on the ground. Before anyone can react, the 'yellow caterpillar' turns around and is revealed to be a guy who looks like he's homeless in a yellow sleeping bag.
"You had just to ruin the surprise, didn't you?" The man says as Izuku merely grins.
"Sleeping on a floor consisting of millions of bacteria is not a good idea and is hazardous to your health, so I had no choice," Izuku says as the man grunts before he gets out of the sleeping bag, revealing to be Aizawa. Izuku almost didn't recognize him due to the man somehow looking older in just a short period, the bags under his eyes being the main culprit of how he currently looks.
"It takes your classmates to point me out before you all notice me, and it takes 8 seconds for you all to calm down. Life is short, kids, and you all are lacking common sense." Aizawa comments.
'Really? This coming from a guy dressed as a caterpillar and pops out of nowhere?' The Trinity thought in a deadpan manner at the irony of the man's words.
"I am Shota Aizawa, your homeroom teacher," Aizawa says as he pulls out a juice box and takes a sip. "Without further ado, I want you all to go to the changing room and change into your Gym uniforms in your respective locker. Go, don't waste any more time." Aizawa then looks at Iida raising his hands. "What is it?"
"Sir, you didn't tell us where the changing room is."
"…."
"…"
"….walk out of the class and look up, there are signs signaling where you all should go,"
In the Changing Room
"Holy shit!" Izuku turns to see a blonde-haired boy with a black streak on it staring at his body, more specifically his now-perfectly sculptured body. The boy then looks at Eijirou in awe as well. "How did the two of you so jacked!? Oh, also, I'm Denki Kaminari."
"I'm Eijirou Kirishima, and as for your question, we did our daily workout!" Eijirou exclaims with a grin as his tail wags a bit.
"For real? I thought you were a sculpture of a Greek God that came to life." A boy with black hair and weird-looking elbow jokes. "I'm Hanta Sero. I did my workout but I didn't get that jacked."
"Well, we did more than some people do," Eijirou explains.
"How much?" Sero asks as Eijirou explains the plan Izuku has set. As Eijirou continues to describe, the nearby boys slowly widen their eyes in sheer disbelief. After finishing, everyone stares at Eijirou like he has grown a second head.
"… You're joking, right?" Kaminari mutters weakly.
"Nope," Eijirou says with a grin. "If you don't believe me, you can meet us in Dagobah Beach tomorrow morning and see it yourself."
"N-no thank you…" Kaminari replies in utter fear. He was horrified at the description and how Eijirou confidently stated it without hinting at him lying. Izuku decides to ignore them before he notices a grape-haired midget finding a peephole.
"What are you doing?" Izuku asks as the midget is startled before letting out a sigh of relief.
"Don't scare me like that!" The midget exclaims.
"You didn't answer my question." Izuku retorts.
"I found a peephole that was left by our senpai!" The midget exclaims excitedly. "And do you know what's on the other side? The Girl's changing room!"
In an instant, the entire room's temperature dropped by several Celsius. Everyone seems to tense up as Izuku's face is covered by the shadow of his hair. The midget, who's too excited, didn't seem to notice it.
"Just imagine what I'll find on the other side! The boobs, the ass, and their hourglass figures! And let's not forget the color of their bras and panties! Just imagine it makes my little Mineta excited!!!!" Izuku pulls out a small notebook before writing him something before shoving the paper right on the midget's face with some cash on it. "Eh…what's this?"
"Your permission slip for not attending school for god knows how long, and your possible medical fee," In that moment, everyone has fully dressed and Eijirou, being the wise man he is, drags everyone out of the changing room. The moment the door was closed, they heard a high-pitched pained scream from the door along with metals groaning.
"……why does he react that way?" Kaminari asks in fear.
"His girlfriend's on the other side," Eijirou answers like it was enough to explain everything. And it did.
Later
P.E Grounds
"Quirk Apprehension Test!?"
After everyone has fully changed their outfit, they immediately rush towards the P.E. Ground. Of course, it was with some difficulties given Aizawa didn't specify where they were going after changing their outfits. And Aizawa had the gall to be annoyed about it.
"But, what about the orientation or the guidance counselor meeting!?" Ochako couldn't help but ask.
"….you and the two others should know that frilly niceties are not for those who want to be a hero." Ochako's eyes twitch as she hears the nonchalant tone the man uses when he speaks. He sounds like he wants to get the whole thing over with and leave to enjoy his nap. And calling them out just like that wasn't nice at all.
"U.A. is known for their freedom on campus, which also goes for the staff," Aizawa says before looking at everyone. He pulls out his phone and displays a holographic screen with a list of it.
1. 50-Meter Dash
2. Grip Strength
3. Standing Long Jump
4. Repeated Side Steps
5. Ball Throw
6. Distance Run
7. Seated Toe-Touch
8. Sits Ups
"These are the list of activities you all did at middle school, physical tests where you were barred from using your quirk," Aizawa says in a bored tone. "This country still hasn't gotten around to allowing the students to use their quirk on those tests. It was irrational,"
"Given what happened to Aldera, it is rational to bar them from using their quirk," Izuku says with narrowed eyes, a vein slightly bulging from his forehead as he grips his hand tightly. In an instant, tension rises as the temperature drops once more. Everyone besides a few seems to get uncomfortable at the tension.
"…..Midoriya, you finished at the top of the entrance exam. What was your best result in ball throw?" Aizawa asks, a hint of annoyance in his tone.
"40 meters." Izuku grabs an incoming ball flying towards him.
"Do it again, but this time, use your quirk while standing in the circle." Izuku furrowed his eyebrow before complying.
"I wonder what he's gonna do…" Ochako mutters.
"500 Yen says he's going with weapons," Eijirou says with a grin.
"1000 Yen says he's doing it barehand." Ochako challenges him.
"Deal!" Eijirou pulls out his hand and Ochako shakes it. Bakugou, meanwhile snorts after hearing their discussion.
'What can a quirkless Deku can even do?' Bakugou thought as Izuku took a stance before a blue glow came out of his body, making his eyes widen in shock. Everyone was in awe at it, except for Shoto, who shared a shocked expression with Bakugou. The familiar power flows out of Izuku, the one that is similar to the one he recognizes, but at the same time different. It sends a chill into his spine and he didn't like it at all.
Meanwhile, a familiar raven-headed boy feels the familiar goosebumps and widens his eyes. He's the Dark Lord that he and Dark Shadow feel during the entrance exam! What are the chances of meeting the same person and finding out he's in the same class as his?
Izuku took a deep breath before he grits his teeth, tensing his muscles as he stomps the ground and throws the ball with all his might, creating a powerful sonic boom that could've sent everyone flying if not for the ice restraint made by Ochako and Aquarius. Everyone seems surprised as none of them even notices that their legs are restrained, even Shoto.
Aizawa widens his eyes at the display of power. The only time he ever saw this kind of strength is from All Might and the majority of the time is from the news itself. To make it even scarier, Aizawa tries to use Erasure once more but it does not affect him. A small part of him wishes that the entrance exam incident was just him hallucinating because of the lack of sleep, but sadly, reality isn't kind to him.
Currently, Bakugou was in utter disbelief, unable to process what he had just witnessed. The quirkless Deku, the useless piece of shit he had put down for years, now has a quirk!? It doesn't make any sense to him, and his inferiority complex fears that 'Deku' might've been stronger than him. He watches Aizawa look at his phone and display the number.
9,310 m
"9 kilometers!??!" The students yell in unison, disbelief written on their faces.
"This type of result is to be expected in Hero Course," Aizawa comments, trying to hide his shock.
"Come on, how are we supposed to beat that!?" Kaminari wails.
"Given what Kirishima told us, I'm not surprised," Sero mutters.
"This is going to be fun!" The pink-haired girl exclaims excitedly. This immediately puts a smile on Aizawa's face before it forms into an ear-to-ear grin.
"'This is going to be fun,' huh? You all have three years to become a hero, will you have that kind of attitude every time?" Aizawa questioned, making the entire class go silent. "All right then, whoever got the last place in all 8 tests will be considered as lacking potential and will be expelled from the hero course."
"What!??!" Everyone exclaims in shock.
"B-but that's not fair, all of us got into this course fair and square! Not to mention, it was our first day!" An invisible girl, judging from her voice, exclaims.
"Natural disasters, accidents, megalomaniac villains, the world is covered with unfairness. Heroes are the ones who face unfairness and come out victorious. For the next 3 years, U.A. will do everything to give you one hardship after another, and you all will overcome them with all you've got. Go beyond, Plus Ultra." Aizawa says, hiding his grin as he sees everyone get scared. He then notices the Trinity didn't seem to be affected by his words.
"Oh, Izuku Midoriya," Izuku perks up. "Eijirou Kirishima," Eijirou's tail flicks in surprise. "Ochako Uraraka," Ochako raises her eyebrow. "For you three, if you all didn't get into the Top 3, then you three will be expelled."
In an instant, everyone's fear turns into disbelief, except for Bakugou who's grinning savagely while Todoroki looks apathetic. The rest of the class seems to be prepared to voice out how this is cruel, but to their surprise, the Trinity grins widely, accepting the challenge.
"Very well," The three of them say in unison in such confidence that it leaves everyone in awe. Aizawa stares at them before huffing silently.
"…by the way, where is Minoru Mineta?" Aizawa looks around and finally notices the missing student.
"Who?" Everyone says in unison.
"… The purple-haired boy, shaped like a grape, short?" Aizawa tries to remember what the student looks like, which is not hard given how he always remembers anyone he sees. It's a skill he learns from years of being an underground hero.
"Oh, he has experienced extreme blood loss due to nosebleeds after trying to peep the girl's changing room. Turns out, his brain was unable to handle such things." Izuku replies cheerfully, a bit too cheerful. The entire class looks very uncomfortable and takes a step away from Izuku while Eijirou and Ochako sigh and facepalm. Aizawa simply looks at Izuku who merely gives him an innocent smile.
"… Right."
Later
The entire class can be seen collapsing on the ground, panting heavily. They were completely in disbelief at what they had just witnessed. They believe that Aizawa was being cruel for forcing them to get the top three, but turns out it was a fair challenge for the three of them. Each of the trio crushes the challenge. They manage to finish the 50-meter dash in under a second. UNDER A SECOND! Iida can be seen still sulking at his shattered pride as a speedster.
For the Grip Strength, the trio destroys it, crumpling it into a metal ball. In the Standing Long Jump, they clear the sandbox like it was nothing. During the Repeated Side Step, the boys did it so fast that they created afterimages while Ochako did it slower than them but still faster than everyone else. For the Ball Throw, Ochako made a comeback and crushed the boys by getting infinity, with Eijirou being in the last rank among the trio, getting 8,931 m, much to the boy's annoyance.
As for distance runs, they made it into a competition with Izuku coming up at the top, followed by Eijirou and then Ochako. The seated toe touch was crushed by Izuku thanks to [Polymorph] with Ochako in seconds and Eijirou came last. For sit-ups, much to everyone's surprise, Eijirou comes on top.
"It'll be a hassle if we go through every result you got on each test. So, I'll just show you the final results." Aizawa says before displaying a holographic screen and showing the ranking.
1. Izuku Midoriya
2. Eijirou Kirishima
3. Ochako Uraraka
4. Shoto Todoroki
5. Momo Yaoyorozu
6. Tenya Iida
7. Fumikage Tokoyami
8. Mezo Shoji
9. Katsuki Bakugou (A/N: Remember, he got a permanent injury in his lungs thanks to Sludge Villains, so his performances are worse than his canon counterpart)
10. Mashirao Ojiro
11. Mina Ashido
12. Koji Koda
13. Rikido Sato
14. Tsuyu Asui
15. Yuga Aoyama
16. Hanta Sero
17. Denki Kaminari
18. Kyoka Jirou
19. Toru Hagakure
Everyone hears a sob and turns to see an invisible girl, which causes everyone to look at them in sympathy. But, before they could say anything, Aizawa got their attention.
"Oh, and nobody's getting expelled." A loud record scratch can be heard at the P.E. Ground as their eyes comically shrink into a pair of black dots. "It was a logical ruse to make you all go beyond your limit."
"WHAT!??!" Everyone exclaims in shock.
"I mean, it was obvious." A girl with a black ponytail states. "if you just thought it through, you guys would know it's a lie."
'Should…..we tell them?' Izuku whispers to Ochako and Eijirou as he pulls out his phone, showing the news with 'AN entire class was expelled from U.A's Hero Course!?'
'No, let them believe it was a lie.' Ochako shakes her head. 'They don't need to be scared by that sorry excuse of a teacher,'
'Yeah,' Eijirou nods, agreeing with Ochako.
"I thought it was over for me…." Toru, the invisible girl, collapses onto the ground with a loud sigh of relief.
"Holy shit, it was nerve-wracking…." Sero mutters as he sighs.
"Now that it is over, go back to the classroom. There will be curriculum and such in there, so I suggest you look over them when you get back to the class." Aizawa says before walking off.
Meanwhile, Bakugou remains silent as he stares at the space with wide eyes. Of all things, he got 9th in the test. 9th! He is weaker than 8 other extras, and one of them is Deku of all people, who got first, AGAIN!!! His hand is shaking in rage and disbelief, wondering how all of this is possible. As for Todoroki, he seems to be in shock as the entire time, the Trinity uses the power he's very sure it's magic, like his ice. He wonders if they are also helped by Sillad, but at the same time, he feels slightly frustrated at them, who seem to be stronger than him by a long shot and manage to gain the Top Three. He tried to outperform them, but no matter what, he was unable to do so.
As for Tokoyami, he can't help but feel a bit disappointed. His 'dark lord' doesn't seem to be challenged and he didn't use any dark powers in his arsenals. People who read his mind might think he's crazy, but he and Dark Shadow manage to sense the dark power hiding under Izuku's shadow. He was hoping to see it himself, yet Izuku didn't use the power at all. Maybe someday he will.
Meanwhile
"You're a liar, Aizawa," Yagi states as Aizawa stares at him. "Logical ruse, huh? I'm pretty sure today's not April Fools."
"Hey, All Might," Aizawa says with a tone drier than the Sahara Desert.
"So, what changes your mind? Last year, you expelled an entire class without any hesitation, but you took back your words at the last minute." Yagi states. "You must've seen the potential possessed by the students, aren't you?"
"…..none of them lacks potential," Aizawa mutters.
"Also, what's with the challenge you give to the Trinity?" Yagi asks, raising his eyebrow.
"You call them by the name Nemuri calls them?" Aizawa asks in bemusement.
"Mirio Toogata was the one who came up with the name," Yagi shakes his head. "You didn't answer my question."
"….their 'magic' will force them to not take things seriously, so I simply give them a 'challenge'." Aizawa muses before walking away.
"…..I doubt that's the only reason…." Yagi mutters.
Later
"……I hate to admit it, but today's a complete waste of time," Izuku says as the Trinity can be seen walking out of the U.A. Building.
"Yeah…I was very excited for today, it's been a long time since I went back to school." Eijirou comments.
"I think it's more of Aizawa than the school," Ochako states as they all sigh. Suddenly, they heard a car horn and saw Sakamata in his civilian clothes standing next to his car.
"Hey, kids." Sakamata greets as the Trinity brightens up.
"Heya, boss!" The trio says in an excited tone. "What are you doing here!?"
"I was in a meeting with the Principal, discussing some changes for Hero Class." Sakamata says. "So, how about you three? How's your first day at the greatest Hero School in Japan?"
"…..it's underwhelming." The trio whines, causing Sakamata to chuckle.
"I prefer the daily internships. It's much more interesting." Izuku says.
"Yeah, and the teachers are far better than what we got for our Homeroom," Eijirou complains.
"He was rude, apathetic, and a liar," Ochako grumbles. "I was this close to screaming his ears off for the stunts he pulls."
"Haha, you all got quite a day, huh?" Sakamata chuckles. "Well, how about we go somewhere for dinner? To cheer you up?"
"… Where was this version of you 10 months ago!?" Izuku exclaims as they all chuckle loudly.
To be continued
