Preface: After my character's initial debut in Sailor Moon Defenders, I tried finding out how I can expand the character's growth a bit more. It took a couple of years, but eventually, I ended up coming up with this story.
For Context: This story coincides with the Defenders of the Earth series. Inspired by Marzena's story "Defenders of the Earth: This is Their Story", I created these chapters which would be set during certain points of the series, and the Defenders will be making at least one appearance during the story, hence the crossover.
Disclaimer: See Chapter one!
Making Way to Mongo
Richie found himself chained up, but this time, his arms were in front of him. He looked around his cell, and couldn't help but to think about Tessa.
He recalled when Mac and Tessa became engaged. Then, the next day, Tessa was kidnapped by Wolf, who was a renegade watcher, like Horton. Wolf was targeting Duncan and planned to take him out, but the Highlander saved her, only for Tessa to be killed by Roszca, the same night he became immortal.
Richie only hoped that history would not repeat itself. Hopefully not. While Greta said both he and Tori were in danger, she didn't exactly make any implications.
He looked up as Zorelda arrived with a plate of food, "Eat up. You are going to be here awhile."
Richie paused for a moment before he spoke up, "Um, don't you think I'd have a hard time eating with my wrists shackled up like this? I like to feed myself, you know."
"What makes you think I can trust you?" Zorelda asked.
"You can trust me," Richie answered, "I'm no pig. I would never touch you in ways you don't want to. I'm not playing any games here."
After some back and forth, Zorelda finally relented and unshackled him.
Richie looked up before he managed to take off out of the dungeon and running like hell out of the castle.
"Get him, you fool!" he heard Zorelda shout from behind.
While running out of the castle, Richie figured he would find some sort of ship on Mongo and try to hijack it to return to Earth so that Tori wouldn't have to head to Mongo to face this witch.
Suddenly, Richie noticed a slave nearby working at the mines of some sort. Maybe this guy could help him, maybe for directions to where the Mongo ships were or something.
"Hey!" Richie shouted from top of the hills, "Hey! A little help here!"
He looked hopeful as the guy noticed him and started to walk towards him.
Moments later, his hope was snuffed out when the man was shot down, killed instantly.
Richie turned around and looked in shock to see Zorelda standing with a guard by her side. He backed up, only to realize if he took another step further, he would've fallen down the hill and gotten hurt.
"Take him," Zorelda told the guard.
Moments later, the guard manhandled Richie, and escorted him to the castle as he struggled.
"Let go of me!" Richie shouted.
"You are still needed for my plan," Zorelda insisted.

Baylin looked on in surprise as she saw Richie being dragged away by Zorelda's minion, "This cannot be good."
"What do you see?" Barin asked.
"I saw Zorelda," Baylin answered, "She has one of the two immortals with her, probably as her prisoner."
"Who?" Thun asked.
"Richie," Baylin answered, "In that case, that must mean that Tori is her target and she is going to challenge Tori to a duel."
"For the fate of Mongo?" Tevrok asked.
Baylin nodded, "Exactly."

Tori looked on as she and the Defenders were waiting for their friends to come. She got out her phone and got a message from Lynn, "I'm on my way to Berkeley. Hope you are able to save Richie."
"Thanks, Lynn," Tori replied, giving a small smile.
"When are they supposed to be here?" Kshin asked.
"Anytime now," Tori answered.
Within the minute, Tori sensed the Buzz, and then she turned and saw Duncan, Amanda and Methos as they walked towards the area.
"Methos, you remember the Defenders, right?" Duncan asked.
"Yes," Methos nodded, "They were in Paris with us when you fought Kalas at the Eiffel Tower."
"It's good to see you again," Flash told his friends.
"Likewise," Methos replied as he shook Flash's hand, "It's good to see you again."
"It's too bad about Joe though," Kshin stated.
"I rather not talk about it," Duncan looked away for a moment.
"Did he die?" Kshin asked.
"No, they had a falling out regarding Joe's status as a watcher," Methos answered.
"He doesn't like to talk about it," Amanda added.
"I think this trip will be quite fun," Methos stated, trying to change the topic.
"Methos is into the supernatural biz," Amanda grinned.
"Well, you're going to be in for a treat, Mr. Pierson," Mandrake replied.
Methos chuckled, "I bet."
"We should be heading to planet Mongo," Duncan spoke up to the group.
"Mac is right," Tori replied, "Zorelda is expecting me as she wants to challenge me to a duel."
"There's no time to waste," Flash declared, "We need to hurry to the planet Mongo."
"Let's get ready to blast off!" Amanda exclaimed.
"Very funny," Flash rolled his eyes. The Defenders, Tori, Duncan, Amanda and Methos made their way to the Terry before they made their way to Mongo.

Richie found himself in another room, chained up by his wrists. He noticed a bed at the end of the room. Was this the witch's chambers?
He glanced over at the bed again and saw the bed could only fit one person and he wondered what was going on, and what this meant.
Richie had been fed shortly after being brought into this room, but he was only allowed to use one arm to eat and that arm was chained up immediately after he ate.
He took a deep breath as Zorelda approached him again.
"What do you plan to do with me here this time?" Richie asked.
"Well, I've been thinking for the past little bit," Zorelda answered, "since you decided to be so stubborn, I was thinking about a proper punishment for you."
"And what's that?" Richie inquired.
"I decided you will be placed in a never ending sleep," Zorelda answered, "and the only way you will wake up from this curse is if your beloved Tori prevailed and kisses you awake."
"What?!" Richie exclaimed, "Oh man."
Zorelda eyed the guard nearby, "Escort him to the bed."
Richie's eyes widened in horror. Two guards grabbed him, removed the chains and he struggled as the guards were taking him to the bed.
"You won't get away with this, you witch!" Richie shouted as he was being dragged to the bed.
A glass container moved over him, and Zorelda walked over him.
"Oh, but I already have, Richie," Zorelda replied, "Too bad you had to be stubborn. You could have been an excellent servant to me as an immortal, but I might still do that if I prevail. I don't know. I might just leave you in that state, or I might take your head while you are defenseless. Your curse will be a fate worst than death, and Rubeus will be administering the potion soon."
Richie felt his lower lip quiver. He knew he was screwed if Tori didn't win this duel. This was real magic, and this was the real deal.

Tori looked on as Flash was piloting the Terry straight to Mongo. This was the duel that could change everything. Not only did her fiance's fate counted on this duel, but the fate of Mongo counted on it as well.
"Tori is a remarkable person," Methos told the group, "I don't necessarily agree with Galati being whacked and everything, but somehow, I knew it was going to happen, and Tori knew what she had to do."
"It wouldn't be the first time Tori did what she had to do," Amanda added, "when it comes to immortal business, of course. Another student of mine, Kenny. I thought I knew him well, but he shown his true colors and tried to whack MacLeod. He also set up Richie, and that's what led to Tori taking his head."
"This Kenny must have been bad news," Kshin stated.
"And he didn't look the part of a menace," Amanda added. She looked at Tori before saying, "Tori is great. I consider her the daughter that I can never have, and she helped me, as in the student teaching the teacher."
She chuckled.
"We all learn something new everyday," Methos added in.
"That we do," Tori nodded, "I can't wait to take down this witch so I can save Richie."
"I know," Duncan smiled at her, "I know. I'm ready for Richie to be saved too."
