Preface: After my character's initial debut in Sailor Moon Defenders, I tried finding out how I can expand the character's growth a bit more. It took a couple of years, but eventually, I ended up coming up with this story.

For Context: This story coincides with the Defenders of the Earth series. Inspired by Marzena's story "Defenders of the Earth: This is Their Story", I created these chapters which would be set during certain points of the series, and the Defenders will be making at least one appearance during the story, hence the crossover.

Mongo Showdown Part One

Duncan, Amanda, Tori, Methos and the Defenders all left the Terry.

"So, this is Mongo," Duncan looked around, noticing his surroundings.

"Yeap," Tori replied, "the planet Mongo."

"And you and Richie visited this place with us not too long ago," Amanda stated.

"That's right," Tori nodded.

"I'm real interested in Zorelda and the magical stuff with this planet," Methos stated.

"I'm sure you'll have your chance," Duncan assured his friend.

The heroes met up with Krotan, Katarina, Aura, Barin, Castra, Tevrok, Zyna, Baylin, Thun and Vultan.

"It's good to see you again, Flash," Castra shook her friend's hand.

"Likewise," Flash replied, shaking her hand, "I just wish it was under better circumstances."

"Since when are these meetings ever under better circumstances," Aura quipped.

"Zorelda is on the planet Mongo," Katarina announced.

"We know," Duncan nodded.

"Who are these people?" Zyna asked, gesturing towards Duncan, Amanda and Methos.

"We are aware of Tori since we met her not too long ago along with Richie," Katarina stated.

Flash proceeded to introduce Duncan, Amanda and Methos to the Mongo allies.

"We've heard so much about Duncan MacLeod, the legendary Highlander of Earth," Castra replied, "It's nice to meet all of you."

"Thank you," Duncan replied.

Richie looked on as Rubeus had approached the room.

"Mistress," the robed being announced, "Tori Gordon is here."

"Excellent," Zorelda replied before she grabbed her sword, "I have been waiting for this."

"Tori will stop you," Richie stated in anger, "She's good you know."

"Rubeus, prepare Richie for his eternal sleep," Zorelda ordered.

"Man," Richie muttered, "Damn it!"

"Of course, Mistress," Rubeus replied.

Richie took a deep breath, bracing himself, resigned to his fate.

The heroes and Mongo allies managed to find the castle.

"It's just as I left the castle," Krotan stated, "She sure has kept it tidy."

"I'm going to check it out," Methos stated before he hurried into the castle.

"Methos!" Duncan exclaimed.

"Let him go," Amanda told him, "He's probably found a witch."

"If she doesn't show up by now," Tori added.

Richie looked upon the glass of his new prison. He couldn't have imagined his life like this – a fate worse than death, a never ending sleep. Even then, Zorelda could take his head while he was helpless, defenseless. He hoped Tori would prevail and he'd escape this nightmare.

"Prepare yourself for your eternal sleep," Rubeus told the prisoner.

Richie sighed, resigned of his fate. Suddenly, he sensed the Buzz.

"What is this?!" Rubeus demanded.

Richie followed his glance to see that Methos had entered the room with his sword in hand.

"Methos!" Richie exclaimed.

"What do we have here?" Rubeus stated.

"Uh, yeah," Methos declared, "I'm here to tear up the loophole Zorelda provided in that duel."

"I don't mind a challenge," Rubeus grabbed a nearby sword.

"Fine by me," Methos replied.

Richie looked on in awe as Methos and Rubeus dueled.

Tori, Amanda and Duncan sensed the Buzz.

"She's here?" Amanda asked.

"Pretty much so," Tori answered.

Everyone looked to see Zorelda levitating in the air, with her sword in hand.

"Long time no see, Zorelda," Krotan stated.

"I am glad that you made it, Tori Gordon," Zorelda replied.

"Of course we made it," Flash replied, "I'm the best pilot there is!"

"Where's Richie?" Tori demanded.

"He's imprisoned in the Mongo castle," Zorelda answered with a smug look on her face, "If you win, you can have him back."

"I plan to win," Tori smirked.

"What do we do?" Katarina asked.

Zorelda summoned energy which brought a bunch of servants to the area to fight the remaining heroes.

"I guess that answers our question," Amanda replied. Moments later, Duncan made a mad dash to the castle.

"Duncan, where are you going?!" Amanda called out.

"Probably on his way to the castle as well," Aura answered.

"Just like the Methos guy," Castra added.

Duncan dueled with minions who were trying to block him, and triumphed over them before entering the castle, "Hang on, Richie."

"I heard that you are a mortal who enjoys cheating death," Methos stated, "Over 200 years old?"

Rubeus chuckled, "As you are the immortal and you also cheat death. Over five thousand years?"

The two men continued to duel while Richie watched.

Suddenly, Rubeus stabbed Methos in the back, and he gasped.

"Methos," Richie looked on in shock.

"So where is the duel?" Tori asked, holding out her sword.

"See the mountain top over there?" Zorelda glanced over the mountain top area not too far from them.

Tori saw the mountain top area, "I see it."

"We shall duel there," Zorelda informed her.

"Tori, are you sure?" Amanda asked.

"This is my duel," Tori insisted, "You help the Defenders."

"Then we're settled, I guess," Castra replied.

Zorelda vanished from sight with Tori.

Richie watched as Rubeus dropped his bloodied sword on the floor. Methos staggered.

"Methos," Richie looked on in awe.

"How stupid of me," Methos stated before he looked up, "Stay away from Richie."

"For one of the oldest living immortals," Rubeus affirmed, "you sure do care about your fellow immortals."

"I owe this to MacLeod, and to Tori," Methos replied, eyeing his opponent.

"Is that so?" Rubeus asked. He stabbed Methos again before he held him up and made Richie watch.

"Methos," Richie looked on in awe.

"I shall send MacLeod and Tori your regrets," Rubeus informed the Old Man.

Methos gave Richie an agonized look, "Sorry, Rich Ryan."

Moments later, Rubeus pushed Methos out of the window and out of the castle.

"No!" Richie screamed. He looked on in horror as Rubeus approached him.

Duncan hurried to the castle and tried to sense Richie's buzz. He finally managed to sense a buzz.

"Help!" he heard Richie scream, "Somebody, please help me!"

Duncan heard ancient chanting of some sort. He managed to find the room Richie was being held, and saw a robed being emitting light green energy on his student.

"Richie!" Duncan called out.

"Mac?!" Richie cried out hopefully.

The robed being walked over to Duncan, "This should be interesting."

Duncan stabbed the robed being with his katana before tossing him out of the window before hurrying to Richie's side.

"Mac!" Richie called out, "Mac!"

"Are you all right?" Duncan asked.

"I – I think so," Richie nodded, "Mac…."

"It's all right, Richie," Duncan told his student, "Let's get out of here."

"I can't," Richie replied, suddenly feeling tired and yawning, "Mac, I….I feel so….tired."

Duncan looked on in worry, "Richie."
