"Have I ever told you how beautiful you look right now?" Branch asked whispering to his lover who was laying peacefully on his chest. Poppy and Branch were lounging on a soft, fluffy blanket in the park, enjoying the warm sunshine on their faces.

Poppy snuggled closer to Branch, enjoying the feeling of his arm around her. "Only about a million times." Poppy said giving him a quick kiss on his neck. She was wearing one of those picnic dresses that looked like she was made for nature. "I'm glad we did this." Poppy said. Branch decided that they should go on a little picnic date together in their secluded spot they've been going to since theyve been friends. But she almost rejected the idea but changed her mind.

"Hey, Poppifer" Branch said, his voice soft and playful. "I have a surprise for you." Poppy's heart skipped a beat. She loved surprises, especially when they came from Branch. "What is it?" she asked, grinning. "You know how we couldn't go on our honeymoon due to the random snow day that was scheduled for two weeks?" Poppy nodded remembering that moment. "What about it Branchifer?" Poppy looked over at Branch to hear what her surprise is. "I managed to get us a vacation because why not?" He looked over at Poppy who was trying to process his words.

"Are you serious?" Poppy asked. Her answer was immediately confirmed with a nod by her husband. She was so excited that she hugged him tightly to the point he thought his ribs were broken. "So you wanna go?" Branch asked actually knowing her answer. She reached up and put her hand on Branch's cheek and pulled him in for a passionate kiss. The feel of his lips on hers did nothing to quell her beating heart.

Finally, she pulled away, huge smile on her face."Does that mean yes?" Branch grinned, eyes staring into hers. She nodded. "Of course it does." Branch smiled at her. "When do you want want to go?" Branch asked giving her the decision. "Three days." Poppy decided, she wanted to go right away. "Are you good with that?" He nodded, Poppy quickly captured his lips in a heated passionate kiss that took his breath away. Branch's hands immediately wrapped around her and she felt his fingers make their way into her hair. She closed her eyes, losing herself in the sweet taste that was their love for one another. "I love you." Branch said, her favorite words that she was never tired of hearing from him. Poppy smiled slowly, giving him that special smile that she saved for him and him alone. "I love you, too, Branch," she answered his declaration with her own.

A small shiver went over her skin as Branch's breath tickled her, the warm air somehow giving her goosebumps. Her body wiggled beneath his. The air was so stiff, sunlight pouring in small streams through the clouded treetops. Leaves fell down occasionally, landing with a soft crunching sound that broke the silence. Poppy's breath hitched in her throat as Branch ran his hand up her thigh. Sparks seemed to burn her skin, trailing up her leg and rubbing softly beneath the hem of her dress. Her hips shifted on the ground in response. Nipping at her neck, Branch buried his head deeper into the crook of her neck. Poppy let out a small moan as he reached further up, sliding over her hips. His fingers curled around the edge of her panties, tugging softly."Branch..." Poppy whined, pushing his chest softly again. "Someone might see. Wait til we get home."She gave him the cutest, most heart wrenching smile that almost made him want to go along with it. But then again, she was Poppy, so cute and heart wrenching that he couldn't pull away.

"We're alone out here." Branch mumbled, his lips attaching to the skin on her collarbone. She whined again, and he could feel her chest raising with a deep intake of breath as he kissed her. "No one will see." Poppy thought about it for a second until she made her decision. "Whatever, you earned it." Poppy giggled, throwing her head back in laughs as her husband kissed up her neck.

Poppy then reached out, grabbing the blanket and wrapping them in a cocoon to conceal their naked flesh. "Now, where were we?" Poppy smiled and reached up to wrap her arms around Branch's neck, pulling him down onto the blanket with her.
