Kairi's Secret
June 21, 3:24 PM, Keyblade Village
J and Kairi have arrived back in the village outside the Yuki Manor. The young girl smiles at J and says "Thank you very much for bringing me home, Miss. J."
"You're welcome. I had to come and look into a few things here today anyway." J said with a nod.
"Um…I thought about this a little." Kairi said thinking and J looks at her confused "If Master Jaden didn't kill that nice man…"
"She definitely didn't!" J said firmly.
"Yes, of course." Kairi said nodding "But if she didn't…Then someone else did, right? Um, that 'murderer' person!".
"Yes, Kairin." J said with a nod.
"Oh…I see…." Kairi said sadly looking down.
'I wonder what's wrong…She seems sad…' J thinks she then asked Kairi "So, what did you think of seeing your first trial?"
"I was really surprised!" Kairi said to that "I had never seen so many people before!"
"O-Oh…" J said surprised at that.
"And Master Jaden looked so small…and helpless." Kairi said sadly.
'Well, Jaden's already naturally small in human average sizes, so…' J thinks on it.
"And then, that monotoned woman with the fiery yak…" Kairi said getting angry.
'Fiery yak…Oh, she means Courtney…' J thinks on it.
"She had such a bad attitude!" Kairi said firmly "She acted like she had already decided that Master Jaden did it…I am going to tell her what I think of her tomorrow!"
'I wouldn't miss tomorrow's trial for the world…' J thinks chuckling.
Kairi then asked J "Why was that woman bullying Master Jaden?"
"Well, she's the opposite of a lawyer, a prosecutor, so her job is to prove people guilty." J explained to Kairi sighing folding her arms. "They don't care if someone's innocent. All they care about is if they win."
"Th-That's terrible!" Kairi said shocked. "B-But…She's really a good prosecutor with a heart on the inside, right?"
J remains silent thinking, in all honestly she doesn't really know Courtney beyond what she was told by others and the trial so she just said closing her eyes "There's no one like that. All prosecutors are the same." She sighs and then added "Well, 'he' might have become a good guy…Eventually…"
"'He'? Who are you talking about, Miss. J?" Kairi asked curious. "Is it that person Master Jaden was talking about? Mr. De-moan-ne…?"
J's mind pictures Hunter but she shakes her head and said sadly "…That was a long time ago. He's not around anymore…"
"Huh?" Kairi said confused.
"He clutched onto his foolish pride too fiercely…and died for it." J said clenching her fist.
"O-Oh…That's too bad…" Kairi said sadly.
J decides to change subject and said "By the way…"
"Yes? What is it?" Kairi asked.
"Um, you wouldn't happen to know anything about who the murderer is…would you?" J asked her.
Kairi gasped and then asked "Wh-Why are you asking me?!"
"No, I was just thinking earlier…" J explained to her.
"I didn't see anything!" Kairi said angrily.
'She 'didn't see anything', huh…?' J thinks curious on how Kairi said that 'Speaking of that…During the murder…where was Kairin, and what was she doing…? And on top of that…This key…' She looks at the Black Key. 'Just when did she pick this up…?' J then asked "I just realized that I never asked you what you were doing at the time of the crime." Kairi looks at J confused "Kairin, where were you and what were you doing when the murder happened?"
"Ah…!" Kairi gasps at that. J looks confused as she said "Wh-What I-I w-was doing? Ah, I-I w-wasn't d-doing a-anything!"
'She's really bad at lying…' J thinks as she can easily see she is hiding something and said "You can whisper it to me. I won't tell anyone else. I promise." Just then the Logic Solver Keychain shines and the area around J and Kairi darkenes and two sets of chains surround Kairi and two Psyche-Locks slammed on the chains binding them in place "Aah!" J said shocked.
Kairi gives a nervous smile and said "Um…I guess you can see through my lie, huh?"
"Yeah…Clearly." J said nodding
"I can't lie to you, can I, Miss. J?" Kairi said sadly.
They come out of it and J thinks she doesn't have enough evidence to break through Kairi's Psyche-Locks yet so decides to investigate the area and heads into the Yuki Manor.
June 21, Yuki Manor, Meditation Room
J looks around and see the room is empty and thinks 'It's really empty…Training was supposed to be held today, but I guess it's already over…'
She heads into the Channeling Chamber

J enters the room looking around and spots Xehanort and thinks '…Hmm, looks like Xehanort's here too, but he hasn't noticed me yet…What is he doing…? It looks like he's talking to a picture…'
Xehanort was indeed sitting in a kneeling position while he gives a evilly looking smirking looking at he holds a framed picture and said to it "…Don't you see? Take a look around…Finally, my chance has come…I've waited for this day for so long! That's right…Prepare yourself, dear Eraqus…"
'What in the…?!' J thinks surprised hearing that name
"Who's there?!" Xehanort hearing someone moving around he puts the picture away and looks and spots J and calms down "…Oh, if it isn't Miss. J…"
"Um…Just curious, but that picture you were just looking at…" J asked cautiously.
"Oh, today was that event, was it not, good madam? I heard you did well." Xehanort said with a smile changing the subject.
"Huh, oh yes...Thank you." J said with a nod.
"I am terribly sorry I could not attend the trial today. Please accept my apology." Xehanort said to her nodding. "I had a previous engagement, as I had to watch over the trainees' training today."
'I get the sense he really doesn't want to talk about the picture…' J thinks on it.
"All because the Grand Master can't be here with us, you understand." Xehanort said sadly. "And that is why a lowly branch family member such as myself must do this."
"Have you remembered anything about the murder?" J asked Xehanort.
"No, I told you everything I know already." Xehanort said shaking his head.
"Were you in the room the whole time Todd and I went to call the police troopers?" J asked curious.
"Yes, of course." Xehanort said smiling "I was by Master Jaden's side the entire time. I performed the Spirit Severing Technique and held him in my arms afterward."
"Hmm, you said that yesterday as well. Did anything else happen?" J asked thinking.
"I would like to say more did, however that is all that occurred." Xehanort said to her.
'Ah, I was really hoping for some new info…' J thinks mentally sighing.
"I suppose nothing happened in the end, good madam. Sorry to have played on your hopes." Xehanort said smiling sipping some tea.
'Could you possibly be more patronizing…?' J thinks at that and then asked "So do the students train every day?"
"Yes, absolutely." Xehanort said with a nod. "They were given a day off the day after the murder, of course, however…"
"And I assume both Jaden and Kairin went through this training...?" J asked him.
"Miss. J!" Xehanort said glaring at her.
"Ack! Yes, yes!" J said nervous 'Wow, he got real scary, real fast…'
"How many times must I tell you before you understand, good madam?" Xehanort said calming down a bit "They are to be addressed as Master Jaden and Master Kairi."
"S-Sorry…I meat Master Jaden and Master Kairi…" J said but then something odd registered and said said confused "Wait…I'm sorry, but 'Master' Kairi? Isn't that going a bit too far…?"
"Next question, please." Xehanort said sipping his tea.
'Oh project recalls…He's really being a pain in the rear about this…' J thinks mentally sighing.
"Please remember to watch not only what you say, but how you say it, good madam." Xehanort told J.
"So, the Grand Master is…um, Jaden's father, right?" J asked him.
"…Master Eraqus….He is a brilliant Keyblade Warrior." Xehanort said nodding.
"Ahd where is he now…?" J asked curious.
"We are not sure." Xehanort said sadly.
"Not sure?" J asked.
"About 16 or 17 years ago, Master Eraqus failed at channeling a certain spirit." Xehanort explained to her. "And after that…He simply disappeared." J remains silent at hearing this "I don't believe he will return to this village, in any case. And in four years' time, his name will be forever erased from this village."
"…Erased?" J asked surprised.
"A person who has been away from the village for over 20 years is considered dead…" Xehanort explained to her.
"Oh, I see." J said nodding understanding.
"And that is four years from now for him." Xehanort points out. "When that happens, a new Grand Master will be appointed to Keyblade Village."
"And…?" J asked him.
"Master Jaden was supposed to become the next Grand Master…" Xehanort said covering his mouth "However with this…murder, I'm afraid…"
'I must be imagining things…I thought he was laughing to himself for a second there…' J thinks
J thinks on it and goes back outside the Manor to where Kairi is.
J upon approaching Kairi again presents the Black Key to her and asked "About this key, Kairin…You found it on the day of murder, right?"
"Yes." Kairi said smiling.
"Now, where you found this key is very, important." J explained to her. "So, please tell me, Kairin. Where did you find this?"
"Um…I found it in the incinerator…" Kairi admits to her.
"The incinerator?" J said and thought 'Hmmm, is she talking about the one in the garden?'
"The door on it was a little open, so I took a peek…" Kairi explains
"When was that?" J asked.
"It was after the channeling, when everyone was in a panic." Kairi said thinking.
"Hmm…" J thinks on it.
"Um…Miss J?" Kairi said smiling.
"Yes?" J asked curious.
"Are you going to tell my father?" Kairi asked her.
"Huh? You mean, tell Xehanort what you did?" J asked her.
"Yes." Kairi said nodding and explained "If he finds out that I was playing in the left-over trash, I'll get a spanking."
"…Ah, gotcha. Well let's keep it a secret from him then, alright?" J said smiling, she thinks 'Hmm, the incinerator, huh? Sounds like a good place to search next…'
She then heads for the Winding Way.
June 21, Yuki Manor, Winding Way
J walks into the area and sees a figure and thinks 'Hey, there's someone by the incinerator…Ooh, looks like they've noticed me. And are now running at top speed towards me…'
The figure turned out to be Sumire as she stops and pants exhausted as she said smiling "Oh, hey! Like…You're that dentist drone."
"Actually, it's Serial Designation J, attorney at law. Nice to see you again." J told her.
"Ooh, real suave. So it's my turn. It's nice to see you, too." Sumire said with a smile.
"So, what's up? You're all out of breath…" J asked her.
"L-Like, huh? Oh! Like you mean…I'm just totally happy and totally excited to be here." Sumire said with a smile.
"Excited?" J asked confused
"I mean, there are so many things to see! It's, like, the real deal here!" Sumire said smiling.
"Oh, really? For example…?" J asked.
"For example…" Sumire said and looks around and points to the urn "Like, that urn over there. Do you know about it?"
'All I see is an old, cracked piece of pottery…' J thinks to herself and asked "Is there some sort of legend connected with that urn?"
"Yeah! It's, like, this village's treasure!" Sumire said smiling.
"Huh. Didn't know that." J said thinking
"And it's sealed inside that urn." Sumire adds in.
"…Um…'It's'…? What are you talking about?" J asked confused.
"Like, you know! Ephemer Yuki's spirit!" Sumire said smiling.
"Ephemer…Yuki…? Who's that?" J asked confused.
"geez, Miss. Smith. Get with the program! Sumire said smiling "Everyone knows the guy that founded the Keyblade Channeling Technique was Master Ephemer."
"Um, you don't have to get upset with me…" J said to that.
"So, as long as his spirit lives in that urn, the spiritual power of the Yuki family will stick around. Like, isn't that totally romantic?" Sumire added happily.
"Ummm…Romantic, huh….?" J said thinking. 'If that urn is really as important as she says, it could be a vital clue…' She then asked "Sumire, I want to ask you about the murder…"
"Murder…?" Sumire asked her thinking.
"Dr. Strange's…Remember…?" J said to her and thought 'As if there's another one?'
"Oh, that one! Like you should have said so in the first place!" Sumire said nodding "So I totally don't know anything because I was sleeping in the Side Room."
"Well, that's not much help…Did you notice anything at all?" J asked her.
"Come on. What a total bore." Sumire said sighing. "I have nothing to do with this, like, murder thing…"
'Oh yeah. You only introduced Dr. Strange to Keyblade Village. No relation, sure.' J thinks sarcastically then thinks 'Even if you were only 'acquaintances', that still means you knew him. Furthermore, your sister, who died in that accident, was a nurse at his clinic…' Sumire looks at her confused and J asked her "Alright then. Why don't you tell me about your sister's fatal accident."
Sumire remained silent then said "Like, why? You think it's got something to do with the murder?"
"I don't know yet, but I'm trying to chase down every lead I can…" J explained. Just then Logic Solver keychain shines and the world darkens around J and Sumire and two sets of chains surround Sumire and two Psyche-Locks slam down on them locking them into place '…Psy…Psyche-Locks?!' She thinks shocked.
"What is it?" Sumire asked confused.
'Looks like I'm going to need something to pry her mouth open on this one…' J thinks on it. She then looks at the urn which was a purple cracked pot with the words 'Rem Ephe' on it "So there's a spirit in this urn, huh? Hmm, all I see are a bunch of cracks. But I guess maybe the spirit could live in the space between the cracks…Hmm, looks like something's written on it...'Rem Ephe'? Huh? Weird…"
Nonetheless she adds the Sacred Urn to the Court Record then goes to look at the incinerator. She says "That's right…Kairin said she found this key inside the incinerator. I guess I should take a look inside for myself…" She checks it and finds some red burnt cloth and said "Th-This…This is from Jaden's jacket…! There's blood on it…A tiny bit, but still…" She adds Cloth Scrap to the Court Record.
J decides to go check in with Jaden at the Detention Center and discuss what has happened.
July 21, Detention Center, Visitor's Room
J arrives to see Jaden and when she sits down and Jaden then says clearly had been crying "Hey, J…I've been waiting…"
'…He looks so helpless…' J thinks sadly.
"So? So? How was it?! What did you find out?!" Jaden asked her.
"Um…Well…I found a few things…" J said thinking looking away.
"Is it so bad that you can't even look me in the eye?" Jaden said sadly.
"I…I just need a little more time. It'll all come together by tomorrow, I promise." J said to him.
"I'm sorry, J." Jaden said looking down "Every time I see you, all I do is cause trouble…"
"So how was it? Today's trial, I mean…" J asked him.
"You were fantastic, J!" Jaden said smiling. "Every time I thought our goose was cooked; you managed to turn it all around. I bet it would make a great Hollywood movie!"
"Don't be silly." J said shaking her head "We have to concentrate on the trial. We're going to win this, Jaden!"
"…Thanks a lot. Really." Jaden said smiling. "Hey, J? The person who shot Dr. Strange wasn't me, was it?"
"Of course not. You're completely innocent." J told him.
"If that were true, then I'd be really happy, but…there wasn't anyone else in that room with the two of us, right?" Jaden said sadly.
"Well, did you check behind the folding screen?" J asked him.
"Um…I took a quick glance, but there wasn't anyone there." Jaden said thinking.
"Hmm…" J thinks on it 'That's exactly what Todd said too…'
"Um, J…" Jaden said sadly.
"Yeah?" J asked.
"Why do you believe in me?" Jaden asked her. "Why do you think I didn't kill Dr. Strange?"
J thinks on it and then said "…Because of something Terra told me."
"My bro? What did he tell you?" Jaden asked surprised.
"He said that keyblade warriors can't have dreams." J tells him. "When you're channeling, it's impossible for you to dream because your soul leaves you."
"Now that you mention it…" Jaden said thinking and then realizes "Wait, then…then…I really am…?"
"You are not the real murderer." J tells him smiling. "I think that…maybe before you even called the spirit, you were drugged."
"Drugged…?" Jaden said surprised.
"I think this was planned from the very beginning." J said thinking on it. "And you were set up to take the blame for killing Dr. Strange."
"That's…That's…" Jaden said looking down.
"I want to ask you something about Kairin." J said to Jaden.
"Kairily? What about her?" Jaden asked smiling.
"No matter what I try, she won't answer me." J said sighing. "I want to know what she was doing at the time of the murder."
"Huh?!" Jaden lets out surprised then gets angry "W-Wait! J! Y-You don't think she did it, do you?!"
"No, no, nothing like that…" J tells him.
"She's never do anything like that! You hear me?! Never!" Jaden tells her. "She's a great kid, and really cure…and really great…and cute."
"I didn't really think she was the murderer." J said rolling her LED eyes. "But…she's definitely hiding something."
"Hmm…" Jaden thinks on it.
"You were with her on that day, right?" J asked.
"Yeah. The two of us. We were playing with her ball." Jaden said thinking about it.
"A ball, huh?" J said and thought 'Sounds like a dead-end to me…' and asked "So, about this ball…"
"It's nothing really special…Just a plain old ball." Jaden said with a shrug. "I think she was still playing with it when I started the channeling job that day. Kairily really loves to play with that ball."
"She 'loves to play with that ball', huh…?" J said thinking.
"When she wants to get it, she always climbs right into the clothing box." Jaden added smiling.
"The clothing box?" J asked.
"Yeah. Kairily's always hiding in there." Jaden said with a nod and smile. "You know the Side Room? There's a clothing box in there. It's really big, so once you see it, I'm sure you'll know what I'm talking about."
'The clothing box in the Side Room, huh?' J thinks on it.
She then said goodbye to Jaden and heads back to Keyblade Village to go to the side room.
June 21, Keyblade Village
When J arrives back in the village he sees a familiar figure in Todd Snap. "Ah!" J lets out
"AAAAAAH!" Todd jumps in surprise seeing J and runs off.
"H-Hey! Wait! Please! Todd!" J called out. 'He ran off into the manor…'
She goes into the manor.
June 21, Yuki Manor, Meditation Room
J catches up to Todd as he pants exhausted and she said "Todd…"
"Aack!" Todd yelps and runs off again.
"H-Hey!" J called out.
"I'm telling you, quit following me, you hear?!" Todd yells out as he ran. "I'm a worthless piece of trash! You lay eyes on me, and they'll turn to dust!"
J mentally sighs and decides to head to the Side Room as that was the direction Todd ran in anyway.
June 21, Yuki Manor, Side Room
"I'm pretty sure I saw Todd run in this direction…" J said looking around. "But it doesn't look like he's here…" She then notices a blue ball with the White Ranger character and name on it "It's Kairi's ball. Jaden said that it's always kept in the clothing box…So then, what is it doing on the floor…?"
J adds the ball to the court record as she puts it in her bag. She then looks at the large yellow clothing box the ball was next too "It's the clothing box where Kairi's ball is usually kept. I wonder what's inside…" She opens it.
"Aaaaaah!" Todd yells out as he was revealed to be inside it as he gets up.
"Whaaaa?!" J said in shock. "Wh-Wh-What were you doing in there?! What were you thinking?!"
"I'm a bad person! Just another piece of human trash. I needed a hole to crawl into…" Todd said and runs off again.
J watching him rush off for a third time thinks 'So you crawled into this clothing box because there wasn't a hole to crawl into? Oh man…Huh?' J notices something with the box and said "There's a small hole in this clothing box…And it's about….8 inches off the ground! That's the same height as the hole in the folding screen! Then, could this…?" She adds the Clothing Box to the Court Record.
Thinking she had enough that could help her with Kairi, she went to look for her.
June 21, Yuki Manor, Meditation Room
As J enters Kairi was in the room who upon seeing her, the young girl said to the Drone "Oh, Miss. J! That person ran by here just now."
"What person?" J asked confused.
"Um, you know…The person with the blue shorts…" Kairi said thinking.
'Ah, She means Todd.' J thinks
"He said, 'Don't look at me with them eyes!' but…I'm not that scary, am I…?" Kairi said sadly.
"…I don't think that's quite what she meant." J said to her
"Oh, that's right. He also wanted me to tell you, 'Going on a trip to find myself, so don't you bother finding me!'" Kairi said to J.
"O-Oh…Well, thanks." J said to that.
"You're welcome." Kairi said smiling.
J deciding type to break Kairi's Psyche-Locks pulls out her keychain and summons her Logic Solver Keyblade "Take that!" the world darkens and the Psyche-Lock and chains appear as J begins to work on the secret of 'Kairi's Alibi' She looks at her "Kairi. You have to tell me what you were doing when the murder happened, okay?"
"Um…But what if I can't just tell you what happened…?" Kairi said to that.
"Then I'll guess what happened. How does that sound?" J said to her.
"What?! Y-You can do that?" Kairi said surprised.
"You'll tell me if I guess something right, won't you?" J asked her.
"…Y-Yes…" Kairi said nervous.
"Now when the murder was taking place, you were here, right?" J said and points on the map to the Winding Way "Take that! You were here, weren't you Kairin in the Winding Way?"
"W-Wow! ...Y-You got it." Kairi said surprised.
"So? Do you think you can tell me now?" J asked her.
Kairi looks down "…I'm sorry…Not yet…"
"Business venture…Alright, what next…?" J said thinking "Okay, I think I know what you were doing there."
"D-Do you really know that much?" Kairi asked surprised.
"Well, I am a lawyer, you know." J said proudly "Now what was it Kairin was doing in the Winding Way?" She then present Kairi's Ball saying "Take that!" This surprises Kairi "You were…playing with this ball, right?"
"Ah! That's right! How…How did you know…?" Kairi said surprised.
J's Keyblade shines and she fires a beam and destroys one of the Psyche-Locks. J then said, "Jaden told me that you love to play with your ball."
"Um…Yeah. I was playing with my ball." Kairi said nodding.
"Uh, huh. And then?" J asked. Kairi just looks down and keeps quiet. "Something happened, huih? …Something really bad…"
Kairi gulps at that and said putting on a brave face "Wh-What do you mean, 'something'?! N-N-Nothing happened…!"
"This is it." J said to that. "While you were playing with your ball, this happened!" She then presents the Sacred Urn "Take that! This urn…It's a village treasure, right?"
"Ah…Um…" Kairi said surprised.
"And the spirit of the founder of the Keyblade technique is sealed in here, isn't it?" J asked her.
"…Y-Yes…" Kairi said a little nervous.
"What's this? It's cracked all over, isn't it?" J said looking at the urn from the holo image "There's even a few gaps here and there…"
"Um…Please don't tease me…" Kairi said sadly.
"Kairi, you broke the Sacred Urn, didn't you." J said flat out surprising Kairi. She then explained "The ball smacked into it and knocked it over, right? And if Xehanort found out, he'd get really mad, huh?" Kairi looks down sadly 'She doesn't seem to be fighting back…I think I hit the Tauros-eye this time. But iut's strange that the lock hasn't broken yet…' She looks at her Keyblade.
"I-It's…It's a really old urn, isn't it?" Kairi asked J.
"I-I guess?" J said thinking.
"I-I-It's so old…So it's not that weird…to have a few cracks…" Kairi told her with a firm nervous voice.
'Her voice is shaking…' J thinks
"H-How can you tell that urn has been broken?!" Kairi asked J.
"Take that!" J said as she presents the proof of it and asked Kairi "Who started the Keyblade Channeling Technique?"
"Huh?" Kairi said confused "Oh, um, it was Master Ephemer…"
"That's right. And how do you spell his name? Do you know?" J asked smiling.
"How do I spell his name? Um…I don't know…" Kairi admits sadly.
"It's spelled 'E-P-H-E-M-E-R'." J tells her, which shocks Kairi she gasps "I thought it was a little odd when I saw 'Rem Ephe' written on this urn." Kairi was stunned silent and looks down "And that's how I knew that someone must have broken this urn. And made a mistake in spelling when they put it back together again…" J uses her keyblade to break the final Psyche-Lock freeing the chains and returns back to reality.
Kairi then said "Around when Master Jaden started the channeling on that day, I was playing in the Winding Way…with my ball."
"And that's when you…broke the urn?" J asked her.
"Y-Yes…I broke it…" Kairi said sadly. "I…I accidentally let Master Ephemer's spirit fly away!"
"Don't worry. Xehanort will never know, okay?" J said smiling.
"I'm a bad child…" Kairi said. "Breaking a village treasure is unforgivable. I thought…that maybe they would make me leave the village. But the broken pieces were pretty big, so…"
"You thought you could put them back together, and no one would notice?" J asked her.
"…Yes." Kairi said nodding. "I found some glue and brought it to the hallway…and fixed the urn there."
"The hallway? You mean 'Winding Way'?" J asked curious.
"Yes." Kairi said nodding. We see a flashback image of Kairi working to fix the Sacred Urn in the Winding Way hallway as she explained "The channeling had already started, so I didn't think anyone would walk by."
"Hmm, I see…" J said nodding. "So, about how long did it take you? It must have been a nasty repair job."
"Yes, I might be strong at spiritual things, butn when it comes to arts and crafts, I am not nearly as skilled" Kairi said smiling a bit as we return to the present. "When I had finished fixing the urn and looked up, I saw you coming into the manor…"
'So that's around when Todd and I were coming back inside after reporting the murder.' J thinks
"When I saw that, I packed everything up in a hurry." Kairi explained. She looks down and said "Um…Miss. J?"
"What is it, Kairin?" J said.
"I'm…I'm going to get banished, aren't I?" Kairi asked sadly.
"I really don't think that's going to happen." J said to that. "I mean, I bet Mystic Ephemer's happy to be free from that cramped urn."

She then heads out of the manor.
June 21, Keyblade Village
J walks out and wipes her brow and thinks 'Whew. I think I've found out everything I can. But I can't see how it all adds up…Hmm…'
"…H…He…" Someone speaks up.
'And is Sumire Yoshizawa being here just a coincidence…?' J continues to think.
…Hey, miss…" That same person says.
'How is it that the spirit Dr. Strange wanted to call just happened to be that nurse, and that nurse turns out to be Sumire's sister… It's too…convenient…' J keeps thinking in her own world.
"…Hey! J! I'm taking to you!" The person yells out.
'I wish I knew a little more about Sumire, but where am I going to find info like that?' J thinks more
"Oh, I get it." The voice yells out revealed to be Todd who looks angry "You can't be bothered to look over at trash like me. Is that it, Miss. High-and-Mighty?!"
"Aah! T-Todd!" J said jumping in surprise
"Oh, so you finally noticed!" Todd said smiling.
'I thought I heard a mosquito buzzing in my ear, although I couldn't understand a word…' J thinks.
"Well, I got to hand it to you. You sure know how to chase down garbage!" Todd said smiling "I mean, I'm grateful to you for chasing this large lump of one around like this."
"Um…Thanks…?" J said unsure. "But you know, you're just wasting your time. I'll be fine on my own."
"Wh-What are you going on about?" J asked confused. "And as for 'following' or 'chasing' or whatever it is, isn't that what YOU'RE doing?!"
"Um, well, you see…" Todd said rubbing his head. "Well, your not exactly a real lady with a gentleman's heard, are you?"
'You're not exactly the world's number one charmer either, brother.' J thinks at that.
Todd looks down and said "Look, I'm really dang sorry about today! When I get all fired up about something, it's impossible to stop me."
"You hurt Jaden really badly, Todd." J told him.
"Um…" Todd looks down. "I don't suppose you could forgive a guy like me…?"
J thinks on it said "Well, I guess I can. You did help Jaden out too, after all."
"For real?" Todd said perking up.
"Yeah, for real." J said nodding.
"Ah, thank goodness…I'm still…" Todd said happily
"'I'm still…' what…?" J asked him.
"N-No, no, nothing, nothing at all. Just talking to myself, you know, gibberish…" Todd said rubbing his head "…now then! Todd Snap, at your service!" J looks at him confused "I'll share with you all the dirt I've dug up!"
"Th-Thanks." J said nodding to him surprised.
"Hey, don't be all surprised!" Todd said to her "Tell you what, I'll even give you all this info for free!"
'Todd not taking money? Now I KNOW this one's an alien clone…' J thinks on it then he asks "If Jaden is not the real murderer, then…who do you think it is, Todd?"
"Well heck, isn't it obvious? It's that occult freak!" Todd said smiling.
"You mean Sumire Yoshizawa?" J asked him.
"Well, there ain't anyone else it could be, right?" Todd asked. "That grandpa, you and me, we were all together that whole time…"
'So, Todd suspects Sumire…Which means he might have already found some info about our mysterious Sumire…' J thinks on it. She then presents Todd with Sumire's profile.
"Heh, that's Sumire Yoshizawa, right?" Todd asked her.
"Yeah, I was wondering if you know anything about this girl…" J asked him.
"You know! Actually, I did a little checking up on her the other day." Todd said smiling. "Her sister, she's the one that Dr. Strange wanted to call back from the spirit world."
"Yeah, I had head as much…" J said nodding. "I had also heard that Sumire was the one who introduced Dr. Strange to Keyblade Village."
"You don't say? That's one sneaky girl, if you ask me…" Todd said thinking and smiles "Hey, you want me to tell you more about her?"
"Yeah, do you have any other information about her?" J asked with a nod.
"Sure." Todd said nodding.
"Well, what is it?!" J asked.
"Ha, ha, ha…It'll cost you…And it'll cost a lot!" Todd said grinning
'Oh, silly me. Here I thought 'free' mean 'no money necessary'.' J thinks sweat dropping.
"That girl was hospitalized about half a year ago." Todd tells her.
"Hospitalized…? But why?" J asked surprised.
"Well, heck, you can go find out on your own." Todd said smiling.
"Huh?" J said confused.
Todd has a piece of paper "Here, I'll give you the clinic's address. Maybe you can find out something."
"'Maybe'…? What's that supposed to mean?!" J asked taking the paper.
"Well…" Todd said and admits "See, actually, it was going be annoying, I reckoned, so I didn't actually go there."
"Aargh…" J groans at that.
"Well, that's the way the gumbo spoils, right?" Todd said smiling
"Spoiled gumbo sounds…Eww…I mean, look, don't blame this on…Oh, never mind!" J said frustrated and looks at the address 'Looks like I don't have much of a choice. Better go check out this 'Jiraiya Clinic'…'
J sighs and goes to head there.
Well J has another lead to find out more about Sumire and understand what her deal is
