The Loud House is owned by Nickelodeon
The silence between Lincoln and Chandler was there for a moment. It made sense, to Chandler, the nobody he would mess with in school actually turned out to be the superhero that everyone likes. What a twist! As for Lincoln, all he could think of is out of all the people in Royal Woods, why did it have to be Chandler?
"I have so many questions?" Chandler still trying to process this information.
Before Lincoln could get a word out, a scream of pain was heard outside of the janitor's closet. Whoever was at Reininger's already hurt somebody, he wasted too much time. Putting on his mask, Bat Boy kicked the door open but before he left the kid looked at Chandler.
"We'll talk about this later." Bat Boy told him in a rather passive aggressive tone before slamming the door behind him.
"You honestly think I'm going to stay here?" The young McCann scoffed as he walked towards the door. "Get... real?"
That was his reaction when he tried to open the door but noticed it would not budge. Bat Boy appeared to slam the door too hard.
TheAwesomeCoolJay: The man with the plan strikes! Or was that unintentional?
Flying through the mall, Bat Boy was furious with himself. Not only did he slip up with his identity, but he may have just put his sister in danger. All that time wasted, Bat Boy could have been at the store and handled the problem already.
"She better be okay or I'm going feral on this punk!" Bat Boy vowed.
In the department store, that high pitched scream did not come Leni. It wasn't Fiona or Ms. Carmichael either, heck it wasn't even Miguel, it was actually the mall cop captain who screamed. The man attempted to stop the offender but failed and got slashed across his hand. Now he sits on the floor against the wall with the store manager and two of her employees. Only one remained standing between the assailant and the cash register, and that one was Leni.
"Kid get over here!" The security guard told her, before returning to ease the pain in his hand. "Ouch, boy do I miss Bobby."
"Leni just let him have the money, get over here now!" Ms. Carmichael ordered, very concerned about the girl.
"Leni p-please get down." A teary-eyed Fiona begged.
"You don't have to prove anything girl, just live like the rest of us." A terrified Miguel also begged.
"I'm not proving anything." Leni tells them, still not moving from the danger in front of her. "But this is like our hard work, and we can't just let someone take it from us."
"So you want to play hero chica?" The man said tossing his knife back and forth in hands. "Fine lets play!"
The Hispanic man lunged toward Leni but before he could make contact, Bat Boy struck from above by stomping down on his back. Picking him up by his shirt, Bat Boy spun the man around until finally tossing him to a rack of clothes. Now that he was dealt with, Bat Boy turned to his sister, just to make sure she is okay.
"I appreciate the bravery, but next time leave the hero work to me." The kid calmly told her.
"Yeah that's totes your thing!"
"Yeah and he's totes bad it!" The captain angrily shouts, standing up now. "Were you planning your dynamic entrance or something, did you want him to cut me!"
"To think that some people actually consider you a good thing is ridiculous." The store owner added on.
"I should probably go." The hero sighed as flew away from the group.
He knew that something like this would be bad for his name, but Bat Boy had bigger problems to worry about. Returning to the janitor's closet, Bat Boy was confused on why he heard screaming and banging from the door. Going for the knob, the bat themed superhero felt a little resistance from the door. So pulling a little harder, Bat Boy open the door and saw a crying Chandler.
"Y-You came bac... I mean, about time you came back!" Chandler quickly wiping his face and fixing his composure. "How are you Bat Boy?"
"Can I change first?"
Moments later
Outside of the mall and now in his normal attire, Lincoln walked on a sidewalk with Chandler. Lincoln explained his origin but kept out the other people who knew this secret, better to have Chandler think he is the only one.
"And that is how I got my powers."
"Freaky, but cool." The young McCann admitted. "Alright give me mine."
"Say what now?"
"Give me my own bat powers, it's not fair you're the only one who gets to have them."
"Did you miss the part where I said I got these by accident?" A confused Lincoln said. "I can't just give you powers."
"Yeah right, you just want all the attention for yourself." Chandler scoffed at the idea. "Well you better be at school tomorrow."
"And what's that supposed to mean?"
"It means you're coming to school and letting everyone in our grade know how me and Bat Boy are best buds." He explained, smiling about how things will turn out. "My coolness will be off the roof when they see that."
"Why would I do that?"
"It's either that or I show everybody this photo and your whole superhero job is through!"
Lincoln froze up once he heard that, was Chandler really serious? Coming to his senses and looking at the boy's smug look, Lincoln came to the horrible conclusion that he is serious.
"So, I guess I'll see you tomorrow." Chandler told him as kept on walking home.
Taking a look around, Lincoln noticed he was home, this entire Chandler situation really got him messed up. How could anybody do this? Entering his house, the only son of the Loud House was furious. He wanted to punch something, he wanted to yell, just something to get this frustration out. However, all of that anger soon went away when the boy got a hug from Leni.
"Lincoln you won't believe it but today Bat Boy like totally saved me!" His second oldest sister told him.
"That's great Leni, I'm just really happy that you're okay." Linc responds to her.
"I just hope Bat Boy is okay too?"
"Huh, why wouldn't he be?"
"My boss and the mall captain were a little harsh on him." She explained remembering what both adults said. "He still stopped the bad guy."
"B-But he could of have gotten there sooner." Her brother softly replies.
"True, but you got to remember his has like the hardest job in the world." Leni counters. "My friends at my job and school all agree, that he is one of hardest workers out there, so he deserves a ton of respect."
This bad day had a surprising end to it, the kind words from a loved one. Leni was puzzled when she saw tears come down her little brother's face.
"Are you okay Lincoln?"
"I'm fine, I'm just really happy you are okay." Lincoln said hugging her back.
The next day
Royal Elementary School was open for the kids, but today wasn't an ordinary for the 5th graders. Gathered around back, where there were no teachers, all of the 5th graders were surprised and amazed that Bat Boy is at their school. But they were more surprised to see he was actually friends with Chandler!
"Gather round folks, and come and meet my pal!" Chandler told the kids.
