The Loud House is owned by Nickelodeon
The kids still couldn't believe it Bat Boy was at their school and he was in touching and talking range. Most of the kids got their handshakes and high fives, but when it looked like some were about to ask him questions, Chandler was quick to pause the excitement.
"Hold your horses people, talking is extra!" Chandler letting everyone know. "A question for the superhero is going to be a generous $5."
"Hey now heroes don't charge-"
The bat themed hero went silent when he saw numerous kids pulled cash out of their pockets. As the kids handed Chandler the money, the boy let out a small laugh when he eventually got a five dollar bill and saw the face on it.
"I like to see Washington a lot, but nothing beats seeing you Lincoln." The auburn haired boy said with a quick glance to the hero.
That tease of his identity almost got Bat Boy to actually hurt his so called pal. He was about to make his way to him, but a group of kids stood in his way and got ready to ask him questions. First up to ask was none other than Girl Jordan.
"Are you single?" The female Jordan happily asked.
"Can you destroy the whole city with a sneeze?" Artie with the follow up question.
"Are you actually made of ton of other smaller bats?" Andrew curiously asked.
"Since you fly you think the cannonballs you make in a pool would be unbeatable?" Mollie asked. "I can be second to you, but there's this guy I need you to keep in the back."
"Currently single, not really looking for something right now, and fellas I think you got me confused with different superheroes." Bat Boy answering the first three questions. "And yes, they would but that would be cheating, so I guess you and that other guy are going to battle for the record."
"Wait how do you know about the record?"
"Y-You know word gets around." The kid hero quickly answered.
Before any more questions could be asked, school bell had just ranged, which meant school had just started. Many of the kids groaned because they still had questions for the superhero. Chandler eased their pain by stating that Bat Boy will be back, so there was no need for refunds. As everyone headed to their classes, Girl Jordan quickly pulled out her phone and got next to Bat Boy.
"A quick selfie before you go?" The girl asked.
"Sure." Bat Boy happily obliged.
The pair smiled as they took the picture together, but the moment they were done Chandler was right there with his hand out.
"A selfie is $20, pay up."
"Oh, okay." Jordan replied, reaching in her pocket to give Chandler more money. "It was nice to meet you, I'll make sure to bring more cause there's a lot I got to ask you."
As she walked away, Bat Boy shot Chandler with hard look, the latter looked confused. What exactly did he do wrong? And then that's when it hit him.
"Sorry you don't get any cut of the profits."
"Heroes don't profit off the people, they just save the day!" Bat Boy angrily told him. "That's the reward!"
"Lame, if I had those powers I would of been charging people." The young McCann simply replied. "Anyway, shouldn't you get ready for class too."
The hero had a lot more to say, but Chandler was right, he needed to be in class too. Bat Boy took to the sky and flew off, once he was gone Chandler decided to head to class. Unknown to the both of them, a kid was in the bush and saw everything that went down.
"They're not actually friends, so it must be some kind of blackmail." This person said popping out of the bush.
TheAwesomeCoolJay: Mysterious but it all works, trust me
A few classes passed and soon Lincoln found himself sitting in the cafeteria. Clyde sat next to him and felt just as bad as his friend when he learned why Lincoln's alter ego now befriended Chandler.
"He's really going to blackmail you like that?" Clyde said, still not believing this situation. "That's low, even for Chandler."
"I know, but I got play along or else he'll tell everyone my secret".
"You know you could always take it by force."
"That wouldn't be the hero thing to do Clyde." Lincoln explained.
"I know bu-"
The pair's conversation was interrupted when Lincoln's phone notified him about a text message. Looking at his phone, Lincoln saw it was from Chandler and he ordered Lincoln to go and get him a bacon double cheeseburger from the Burpin' Burger right now. Lincoln texted back if he was going to give him any of the money he earned today to get the burger. He got the answer back with a text that said no.
"I'll be back before lunch is over with." Linc tells Clyde as he runs off to go change.
At the Burpin' Burger
Bat Boy walked out of the burger joint, actually satisfied. Not only was the service nice, they also gave him a discount because of the two times he helped the establishment. Climbing up the pole, Bat Boy sat on top of the sign and placed the bag of the food right next to him. He was about to text Chandler that he was on his way back, but suddenly got a call from Ronnie Anne.
"Hey what's up Loser." He playfully greets her.
"So you're just doing selfies with anybody?" She simply replies.
"Huh?"
"I was just scrolling through my phone during lunch and I see Girl Jordan and you all friendly in a picture."
"Oh that, that's this whole problem I'm trying to fix." The hero nervously explains.
"There's also the caption of her saying, he won't be single anymore." The young girl lets him know. "Are you trying to fix that too?"
Before he could try to think of an answer for that, Bat Boy's hearing picked up what appeared to be the sound of a car crash.
"Sorry got to go, hero business!" He tells her as he quickly hangs up the phone.
Springing into action, Bat Boy flew to the source of the car crash. Looking down, Bat Boy saw that a car had crashed into another car from the side because one tried to beat the red light. Now it was a traffic jam, but no one looked hurt, but the couple who tried to run the red light were in a panic.
"What's the problem?" The kid hero asked as he landed on the scene.
"I JUST WANTED TO GET HER TO THE HOSPITAL!" The African American man screamed as tears ran down his face.
"Eric, calm down I called an ambulance!" The other Caucasian man trying to calm his partner down.
"THEY WON'T MAKE IT IN TIME TOM!"
"Guys you got to fill me in on this!" Bat Boy trying to get their attention.
"My boyfriend's grandmother has heart problems, today she just collapsed!" Tom explaining the situation. "We were trying to rush her to a hospital but then we crashed!"
"PLEASE BAT BOY SAVE HER!" Eric begged.
"Where is she?"
The moment they pointed to the backseat of the car, Bat Boy basically jumped towards it and yanked the door off. He carefully got the elderly woman in his arms and proceeded to run to the hospital. He knew he couldn't fly with someone in their arms like this, but he was still pretty fast on his feet.
"Ma'am this ride might be bumpy, but I will save you." He promised her, as he hopped off a car to the sidewalk.
"C-Child don't trouble yourself." The grandmother struggled to say as she clenched a hand to her chest. "I've lived a long life and I'm happy about the choices I've made."
"Hey none of that talk, I'll get you to the hospital!"
"Nice to know that there is some good in the younger generation."
Bat Boy decided to book it after that, his flight was definitely faster, but he had to make do with his running today. It was still remarkable; one would think carrying somebody would limit the speed, but no Bat Boy still appeared as a blur as he made his way past people.
TheAwesomeCoolJay: No not sonic speed, but still faster than what we can see or do.
After all that running, Bat Boy finally made it to the hospital, shocking everyone in the facility. They had some questions, but immediately put them away when they saw that Bat Boy had a person in his arms that looked like they needed aid. A stretcher was brought out immediately and doctor was there with it as well. She was put on the stretcher, but instead of wheeling her off the doctor put the stethoscope on and listen for a heartbeat.
"Doc tell me some good news!" Bat Boy not liking how things are looking.
"I'm sorry son, she's gone." The doctor said with a heavy sigh.
"Can't you get the electric thing and bring her back?"
"We did, seven times actually." The doctor letting him know. "The last time we brought her back, she personally wanted us to stop and just let her go."
Bat Boy was filled with so many emotions right now, but he had to keep his composure, otherwise he might cause problems. Stepping outside the hero took the sky and cried as he headed back to school.
Royal Woods Elementary
In the boy's restroom, Chandler was there waiting, impatiently to be exact. He made sure he was alone so no one could find out Lincoln's secret as well. Speaking of him, Bat Boy eventually crawled through the window of the restroom and tossed Chandler his food.
"Took you long enough... have you been crying?" Chandler asked when he saw Lincoln's face once he removed his mask.
"An old woman died today." Lincoln said going over to sink to splash his face. "They said it was her time, but do you think if I tried harder I could of saved her?"
"If you actually tried you could of saved this burger from being so called."
Lincoln's sadness began to fade a little bit, his rage was slowly building up. He looked at Chandler and saw the boy was currently eating and caring only about the burger he got.
"I'm being serious here!"
"You said it yourself; she was an old lady." The young McCann said taking another bite of the burger. "She was going to die ev-"
Chandler was silenced when Lincoln, with one arm, lifted and pinned him to the wall. Chandler was beyond scared right now, he never seen this look in Lincoln's eyes before.
"W-What are you doing?"
"Something I should have done sooner!" Linc tells him, while using his free hand to reach in Chandler's pockets and pull out his phone. "Consider this friendship over."
"You think I'm dumb enough to just have that pic of you on my phone."
"What are you talking about?"
"I saved it to my computer stupid, I plan to use you until I get bored!" Chandler taunting Lincoln. "Now put me down."
He was in a lose-lose situation, so best thing for Lincoln to do right now is listen to Chandler. Putting him down, Chandler immediately made his way to the exit, but before he left he looked at Lincoln one last time.
"Can't believe I thought you were cool, even with powers your still Lincoln Lame."
Those were his final words as he would soon leave. Lincoln stood there angry, but confused on what to next.
And that's going to do it for this chapter, thanks for reading. Wow Chandler's a swell guy right? Haha of course he isn't, anyway, what happens next?
As Bat Boy continues to play along with Chandler, Lincoln Loud actually has to help his sister Lola find something very important to her. Will he let his sister down or will the Bat finally be exposed?
