Everything is going perfectly! Mom thinks I'll be here with Filía and she believes that I'll be with Mom when really I'll be with Alethea and Quillam the entire time in the Emerald City! Can you imagine the green city covered in white? I bet it's gorgeous.

"Doesn't your train leave at eight?" Filía asked her sight never leaving her book, "Because you need to be there in fifteen minutes if you want to make sure you have enough room for that luggage."

How she is able to tell time without looking at a clock is beyond me. I thought. I rolled my eyes as I balled up a piece of paper and tossed it at her, hitting her on the forehead and landing in her lap.

"Yes mother?" She said annoyed laying her book on her lap.

"I signed you up for this while I'm gone. Something to keep you busy and not get bored reading that." I said handing her a piece of paper then going to my closet.

"Lurlinemas banquet? You're making me go to a Lurlinemas banquet?"

"You're helping setting it up as well. You need a social life, besides, who knows how long you and Zedekiah will last."

"My social life is fine. Thank you. I don't need your help."

I probably have the biggest smile on my face once I found it; her dress that I got her a while ago, "You're going, and you're wearing this."

Filía rolled her eyes and continued to read her book as she grumbled something. I simple ignored it, if I had to guess though, it's probably because I'm making her put down a book for more than a minute. Anyway, I laid the dress against my chair and gathered my things by the door.

"You're to be there the day of Lurlinemas Eve to help set up early in the morning. The banquet is later that night." I said opening the door and pushing my bags out, "I'll see you in a month." I quickly left the room before Filía could protest.

- Lurlinemas Eve: Emerald City-

"Great Oz, this place is amazing!" I squealed as I fell onto the bed, "It's a shame Alethea couldn't make it though."

"She had other matters to attend I'm afraid, but more time for us don't you think?" Quillam said taking off his jacket.

"Definitely!" I smiled as he laid on the bed next to me.

"You are flawless, you know that?" He asked playing with my hair.

"I do. I have you to remind me."

He tilted my chin and gave me a kiss.

"Someone has to." He said leaning to give another kiss.

"I made it."

I sat up on the bed to see Alethea had walked through the door. I jumped off and raced to give her a hug.

"I miss you too. Now help me with my bags while you tell me what I've missed." She said.

As soon as Alethea settled in we went back out and showed her around.

-Quillam's POV-

Just one minute. She couldn't have waited for one minute!? Fine, I should have just done it from the start. Who knew the two would become great friends over one misunderstanding? One I need to know about, one to get what I want. Since one can't be without the other, I guess I have to have to whole package.

"Quillam look at this!" Nessa called my attention to a window of a dress shop, "Isn't just beautiful?"

I looked at the low-neck line, simple yet elegant, sheer sleeves, shiny, green dress. Nessa's right, it is beautiful. For the right girl that is.

"It is quite beautiful." I said.

"I'm going to go try it on, come on Alethea." She dragged Alethea in with her leaving me outside with the bags.

"I hope you marry a prince. A prince with slaves." I said gathering the bags, going to the nearest café to wait.

Why did I ever agreed to this? Whoever said that looks can fool you, they were right. I should have thought this through more. There's no going back now.

"There you are. I almost thought you went back to the hotel." Alethea said joining me at the table.

"Where's Nessa?"

"Buying another dress."

"The green one?" I asked.

"No, once she put it on she hated it on her, but then they said that they had it in pink. She just had to have it then." Alethea said passing up a cup of coffee from the waiter.

"I'm starting to wonder if her sister has any closet space at all."

-Nessa's POV-

I was awoken when Quillam got out of bed. He got dressed and left the room. That's when I got up and followed him. Followed him to the lobby of the hotel. He took a seat at a small table, setting a small book on the table and stared at it for a while. He rested his head on his hands the I blinked and he and his book were gone.

"You should be sleeping."

My heart skipped a beat, I slowly turned around and saw Quillam.

"Why are you out of bed Nessa?" He asked, "Why are you following me?"

"I heard you get up. I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

He smiled, "I'm fine, I just couldn't sleep. Go back to bed. I'll be up shortly."

I nodded my head and went back up to the room. I laid in bed waiting for him, but I fell asleep before he came back to the room.

Yes! This is only Part 1! I'll post Part 2 sometime next week hopefully before/day of Christmas, reason being AdoniaAlma is back but and editing some of the next chapter. She has so little time to help with this that she can only do a bit of it. So that being said, I hope you enjoyed this, I can't wait until you guys read the next chapter and I would love to "hear" from you. :)

****VERY IMPORTANT! Okay not very important but please, keep reading. So I have an idea, I'm thinking (really hard) that after this and my other Filía story that I'll write a story about them as if they lived here. There would be no witch craft just regular human beings. Here's the catch, you'll still have Elphaba and Glinda, who'll be famous form the Broadway Musical (wait for it...) Wicked! If you would like to read something like that, tell me I'm the GREATEST writer in the world and I'll make that story happen ;) (I'm kidding about the whole greatest writer stuff.) But seriously, if you're interested, leave a review saying you are, if not... Do it anyway ;)
