Sarah and Victoria's reputation in LumarFields has been increasing. Their situation since last time was really hanging onto them. They were both excited, scared, anxious, all of that. It was life threatening for them and both could've lost their reputation.
After the incident with the giant mantis and the shopping disaster. Sarah agreed to not pull any shenanigans or other stuff again. As Clover and Carlos were slowly getting along and were on great terms again. At least.
The town was loud, everyone just doing their regularly daily. Sarah was in the backyard with Rocky.
Sarah was feeling down since the Yellow sale. The chaos that occurred left her shocked. Since then she's been quiet and hasn't been out to the village.
Rocky walked up to her with curiousity. He was also concerned for her and wanted to help her.
Rocky: "Sarah?" He asked.
Sarah: "Yeah, lil' rocker?" She replied.
Rocky: "I just wanted to ask you, are you okay? You haven't spoken to any of us for a while. Ever since the Yellow sale."
Sarah: "Well, I just feel bad for what happened... I mean, wouldn't you too?"
Rocky: "What? No, maybe. But no!" He said.
Rocky walked up to her and sat down beside her. Sarah curled up as Rocky looked at her.
Rocky: "Sarah, it's okay. It was just a small mistake. I mean, their rivalry was going on for a while and much more trouble happened before." He said.
Sarah: "We caused.. I, caused so much trouble. I just wanna know how you guys do it so, maybe I could blend in... and not cause any more mistakes" She looked down to the ground.
Rocky looked at her with concern. He knew Sarah was trying her best and she felt bad for even trying too. Rocky looked around then had a spark.
Rocky: "Hmm, oh! I have an idea!" He said.
Sarah: "What is it?" She turned to him.
Rocky: "Well, it's something. Just close your eyes and take my hand!" He held his hand out.
Sarah: "Oh, okay!"
Sarah closed her eyes with her hand as Rocky took her other hand and started to run away with her. They ran for a little bit until Rocky stopped them. Sarah had her eyes closed and was confused.
Rocky: "Okay, let go of my hand and open your eyes!"
Sarah: "Uhh, should I?"
Rocky: "Duh, open them!"
Sarah: "Okay, okay!"
Sarah moved her hand off of her eyes, she opened them and saw the strange yet beautiful scenery infront of her. A field of flowers and the fresh breeze.
Sarah: "Woah! Wow, Rocky this is amazing!"
Rocky: "I know, I'm a frog full with suprises." He said.
Sarah: "Heh.. so, what's with this place? Why did you bring me here?" She asked.
Rocky: "If it's like this in your world. Than you shouldn't have to worry about blending in!" He replied.
Sarah: "... What?"
Rocky: "We both have four limbs, eat, sleep, talk and walk."
Sarah: "Okay I get that part. But yeah, it is like this in my world... I get what your trying to put here."
Rocky: "Mhm! You shouldn't feel left out all because you made a mistake, that caused trouble. We all do, and if we do the right thing we could be forgiven. That's all you have to do, Sarah."
Sarah: "That's a lot coming out of your mouth." She said.
Rocky: "Not from the mouth. From the heart." He replied.
Sarah laughed. The words were really helpful. Sarah started to space out hearing the words play in her head over and over again. She flinched a little bit as Rocky grabbed her hand causing her to snap back to reality. She looked at him with curiousity.
Sarah: "What?" She asked.
Rocky: "Come on! Let's go explore! Let's make this feel like home, for you. For us." He said.
Sarah: "Okay then." She smiled.
Rocky turned as he started running with her. The two ran and started to explore areas, spots that you would usually see back at home, flowers, little tiny streams of water. Bugs, and other stuff.
As they were playing beside a lake, they heard laughter. They looked and saw a group of kids playing in the lake. Four kids, Sarah looked at them and became sad. Doesn't help they almost looked like her sisters and brothers...
Sarah tapped Rocky's shoulder. Rocky looked at her confused.
Rocky: "What?"
Sarah: "Can we go back?"
Rocky: "Uhh, sure!"
As they turned to leave, one of the kids in the lake saw them and called out to them.
Kid: "Hey! Do you want to join us?"
Sarah hesitated, glancing at Rocky. He gave her an encouraging nod.
Rocky: "Why not? It could be fun." Rocky smirked to Sarah.
Sarah: "I don't know... What if they don't like me?"
Rocky: "You'll never know unless you try."
Taking a deep breath, Sarah nodded and walked towards the lake with Rocky. The kids welcomed them with smiles and soon they were all splashing around, laughing and playing games. For the first time since the Yellow sale, Sarah felt a sense of belonging.
After a while, they all sat on the shore, catching their breath. One of the kids, a frog named Lily, turned to Sarah.
Lily: "You know, you're pretty cool. We heard about what happened at the Yellow sale."
Sarah: "The Yellow sale? Oh no..." Sarah covered her face.
Lily: "It was brave of you to stand up like that. Even your uhh, sister."
Sarah: "Really? I thought everyone was mad at me."
Lily: "Some were, but most of us understood. Mistakes happen. I make a lot."
Sarah smiled, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. She looked at Rocky, who gave her a thumbs up.
Rocky: "See? You're fitting in just fine."
As the sun began to set, Sarah and Rocky said their goodbyes and headed back to Clover's house. Sarah felt lighter, more confident. She realized that blending in wasn't about being perfect, but about being herself and learning from her mistakes.
When they arrived home, Victoria was waiting for them. She got up from the porch and walked up to them.
Victoria: "Where have you two been? I was worried!"
Sarah: "Sorry, we went to the lake and met some new friends."
Victoria: "Well, I'm glad you're making friends, but next time, let me know where you're going, okay?"
Sarah: "Okay, I promise."
Victoria smiled and hugged her sister. Rocky smiled at the two and walked beside them to head inside. Sarah and Victoria gave a small wave then turned back and looked at eachother.
Victoria: "Guessing you're feeling alright?" She asked.
Sarah: "More than anything. I'll talk with the town people, frogs- soon." She replied.
Victoria: "Heh.. Come here."
Victoria pulled Sarah back in for a hug. Sarah felt a warmth spread through her. She knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, she had her family and friends by her side.
Hey everybody, it's Shushu. Sorry for taking forever with a update and chapter. I honestly forgot about this story. Also, Stella and Rubys name have changed if you already notice. But that's all I have to say!
