March 1912 - a baby is abandoned at the doors of Downton Abbey. Servant Thomas Barrow agrees to claim paternity for the foundling. The story mainly revolves around Thomas and his daughter, but the other characters also play a role in every chapter. The characters don't belong to me, only the OC does.

We meet Cora when she is 31. She has moved to London, to get her writing career started. One day she hears beautiful piano music coming through her window which inspires her to write. Will she ever meet the one who plays that piano? Robert is 34 and works for his father's company, managing estates. He secretly plays the piano.

What if Robert didn't change his mind when he fired Bates? What if Anna still pursued him? What if Bates got his knee fixed and returned to the Army? Answers inside. R/R please.

It's 1931, and life is being kind to the Bates family, but as they are the Bates family, we know things can't stay rosy for long. Can the love of their extended family and love of one another pull Anna and Bates through a grievous loss? (

For full summary, see beginning of Prologue (too long to post). January 1933, and Thomas, Richard and co are faced with several different scenarios centred around family issues, which can be complicated at times. In order to solve their problems, friends must come together.

In this story, I'm going to focus on the gap between the conversation about full marriage and wedding. I have a feeling, that there was a lot going on behind close doors, but we didn't have a chance to see that, so I'm filling the gap.

Robert Crawley meets the charming and beautiful Miss Cora Levinson during the London Season at a ball hosted by the Earl and Countess of Emberfall. Though they take an instant liking to each other, they both end up marrying different people. Twenty-four years later, under difficult circumstances, they meet again. Will love conquer all, or will their current spouses hold them back?

When little Johnny Bates comes home from school with a black eye and a note from Mr. Mosley, he learns a valuable lesson about love. Loosely based on the George Strait song Love Without End, Amen.

Edith Crawley, now happily married and expecting her first child with Anthony Strallan, defies his overprotective concerns by sneaking out to enjoy the estate, prompting a heartfelt reconciliation when he finds her, leading them to a deeper understanding of love and freedom.

A series of scenes involving Mrs. Hughes and Tom. Many of the staff and family will be featured in various scenes so the characters will be changing except for Mrs. Hughes and Tom. Chapter 3 has been replaced with the correct version.
