Chapter 2

Zoro's blush grows even more from the kiss that Luffy places on his cheek as he hears a snap coming before the other side of the room. He looks up to see his father with his cellphone out. The others in the room were all gawking at him.

"Jeez really dad." Grumbles Zoro glaring at his father as his golden eyes show he is planning something. Something that his son is feeling uneasy with.

"I do not know what you are talking about son." Said Mihawk putting his cell phone away. But his golden eyes slightly move over to the red-haired fool standing next to him.

"What are you planning here Hawkie?" Whispers Shanks as his own eyes met Mihawk's golden ones.

"You will see. For you and I both know that our own little Lufia here can place Boa Hancock in her place." Whispers Mihawk back to Shanks. But this doesn't go unmissed by several in the room. One of them being one of Luffy's elder brothers.

Sabo's blue eyes narrow at Mihawk. The regal swordsman looks out the corner of his eye to the blonde watching him.

Luffy slowly giggles as she sniffs. "I am grateful for you Zoro and I do wish you would have told me about your feelings sooner. So….I wouldn't have been hurt by that asshole." She tells him with a teary smile on her face.

Zoro blushes at this. As his eyes move over towards her brothers and friends. As his eyes moved back towards her large puppy eyes looking up at him. He lets out a long, tired sigh. "I didn't want to lose you as a friend if you didn't return my own feelings towards you or you didn't want to see me anymore after I told you." He told her as he blushed to the point it reached the tips of his ears.

Mihawk smirks as he pulls out a black envelope from the inner pocket of his dress jacket. "I do have a reason for being here." He told Zoro as the young man's blush vanishes as he looks over at his father.

"What would that be?" Questions Zoro as his eyes narrow in on the black envelope in the man's hand.

A wicked smirk slowly creeps across his lips. "Well I do have the invitation to the Ball the Hospital is hosting." He tells his son.

Zoro arches a brow to this as his father knows he hasn't been to one of those balls in several years. Not since he had first met Lufia at one at the age of 9. "Your point is?" He questions.

A playful tinkle is seen in the golden hawk-like eyes. But is cut off by Lufia as she smirks back at the man before them.

"You would like us to accompany you to the ball. To use it as a debut for Zoro as myself as the new power couple in the sense." Said Lufia with a grin on her face.

Now everyone's jaws hung open at the girl's words. The girl for as long as they have known her. She had never been a true lady of high society. Ace and Sabo grin at each other as they knew what this meant. As they as well pull out their own black envelopes. As the others look at them with shock as well. For 90% of the time People are yelling at Ace to wear a shirt. For the only time they ever see him wearing one is if they need to go to work or if he wants to go shopping. But even then it is unbutton and hanging open allowing all to see his tone chest.

"We did receive our own invites last night. We even have Luffy's as well." Said Sabo grinning as he pulled out another one.

"It appears that the background check Law's betrothed has done on us was very unfruitful for her." He added with a devilish grin on his face.

"So, you also received the notification about someone snooping around about Lufia and you two." Said Robin with a knowing smile on her face.

Sabo's blue eyes sparkle at her. "Yes, but it also does help that you are able to handle things for me while I am busy with work and wasn't able to get to it quick enough." He told her.

Robin softly giggles. "Do not worry. It wouldn't do well if it comes out now that you three are the Monkey heirs of one of the powerful men in this world." She tells him.

Ace and Sabo both nod their heads to her gratefully to the cunning woman in the room.

"Well that means we will have to take Luffy and Zoro shopping. For This ball will have whose who. Attending it." Said Nami clasping her hands together with a grin on her face with the thought of shopping.

Mihawk's eyes shift over towards the young ginger. "Only the finishes for Lufia and my son. I have already sent a message to my tailors. They will be here within the hour. As they will come for their measurements as well I have already selected the colors for Lufia's dress and Zoro's black suit will match her dress as well. I have also called my personal hair stylist and requested them to have the best to come and do her makeup." He added with a smirk as he saw the girl's smiling fading from each of his words to her.

"What about her jewelry?" Questions Kola with a smile.

"She shall be wearing pieces from our family collection." Said Mihawk as he looks over at the gobsmacked new couple sitting on the couch.

Luffy's eyes sparkle at the idea of going to a party but frowns when the other thought comes to mind. "I'll have to be the lady I have been taught to be." She said letting her head hang.

"It's alright Lu. I shall be at your side the entire time. So if you need it straight. I shall do it for you during that night." Said Zoro smiling down at her softly as now she is the one to be blushing as she snuggles into her blanket to hide herself from the others as she can feel her entire body now blushing.

"I have done business with Miss Boa Hancock. She is a woman that craves power." Said Mihawk as he frowns.

"I know. For I have seen her in passing. For I never felt like dealing with her. Poor Benn always had to step in for me while doing any business dealing with my company. For now she doesn't know who I am. For the only one she ever sees is Benn. For he has even stepped in for photoshoots for magazines for the company. As I needed someone to be my face as I do not want to be seen. For it is easier for myself to move around freely." Said Shanks smirking.

Mihawk just rolls his eyes. "If I wasn't your friend. I would believe you were a bum that hangs around the business district to beg for money." He told the crimson hair man standing next to him.

Shanks faints that his feelings are hurt. "I like to work in different areas of my company. As well. I do enjoy working in development. As I have created several fun toys for our military." He added grinning.

As all three siblings grin back at him. "They are fun to test." Said Luffy as she peeks her head out of her blanket.

Mihawk glares at Shanks. "You have been using those three to test your new weapons?" He demands from his friend that he sometimes questions why they are friends for moments like this.

"Don't worry. They use rubber bullets as long as the special armor I have developed for them. As I am still trying to push this armor to be used by our military and Law enforcement." Shanks told Mihawk as he waves the regal man off. "As well, your son has also taken part several times in some of the weapon's testing phases."

Now Mihawk's hand moves towards his cross pendant he wears around his neck to draw the dagger hidden with it,

"I was a fine dad." Said Zoro as he looks to his father who is planning the murder of the man standing right next to him.

Mihawk's eyes move back to his son. "What did you get from doing all that testing with this fool?" He questions his son.

Zoro grins. "Well I was able to get those two cursed swords that not even Shanks himself knew were cursed. As well I have a lot of fun new firearms in the safe to use whenever the need arises. LIke today I wanted to riddle Law with bullet's but. I couldn't do that to Luffy nor you. For it would be good for either of you. I wasn't going to leave you alone with my annoying sister." He told his father with the smirk still on his face.

Franky stepped forth. "As well Zoro has gotten me an awesome job to develop new weapons as well as allowing me to still work for my dad." He said grinning at them.

"Also it has allowed me to develop and work on my own projects that are under lock and key. For there are too many in my own company that don't understand that I need them to leave me alone while working." Said Luffy grinning as she was working on a project at Shanks developmental lab.

"Some of the things she has developed have almost stolen several government contracts from me." Said Shanks as he pouts at the girl sitting on his best friend's lap.

Luffy's famous D grin graces her lips. "Sorry Papa Shanks." She tells her father figure as her two brothers snicker at the red-hair man's antics.

"Now her projects are more fun to test." Said Ace grinning at Shanks who was pouting in a corner drawing circles on the floor.

Mihawk just rolls his eyes once more. "It might be for the best that Benn is the face of your company." He tells Shanks as a cloud now appears over his head raining on him.

"So…What color have you chosen for my dress, Hawkie?" Questions Luffy as she grins at the golden-eye man.

Mihawk smirks. "I was thinking of a ruby red for your dress. But also I saw a fabric that is black with gold woven into the fabric." He tells her. "I did request of them to make two dresses in those colors and they will have several designs for you to select from though. For I want you to select what style of dress you shall be wearing." He tells her.

Luffy moves a finger to her lips as she looks back over to MIhawk. "I wouldn't mind a Redingote, or Trumpet or even a Sheath style of dress." She tells the man before her.

Mihawk smirks. "Those are the three styles I told them you might select from." He told her with a smile on his face.

Luffy smiles back at him. "Great minds do think alike." She tells him as her eyes move up to Zoro as she knew he took his looks from his mother. As he had taken her eyes and hair color.

Even Mihawk follows her eyes towards his son. As a far away smile is now on his lips.

"Well with all this fun. We might want to get this movie day over with." Said Usopp with a grin on his face as he holds up several DVDs and a huge bag of popcorn in his right hand.

All eyes move over to the young long nose man who is smiling at Luffy as he hears her stomach growl as the same rumble is followed by her brothers.

Ace, Luffy, and Sabo all blush at all of their eyes from how they are always hungry and are able to eat more than a sumo wrestler.

Ace grabs a pizza two box and walks over to Luffy handing her one as well hands the other to Zoro. "Let's eat before these get cold and Sanji starts bitching about wasting food as all know he will be cooking more food for us. Once all the pizza is gone." He said as his own silver eyes looked over to the chain smoking chef.

Sanji takes the cigarette out of his mouth and blows out a stream of smoke. "The shithead has a point." He says looking over at Ace with a smirk on his face as he knew it always annoys him being called names.

"Can it shit cook." Said Zoro as he takes out a slice of pizza and takes a bite.

"Can it be crappy swordsmen." Growls out Sanji as he flips him off as he spins on his heel heading into the kitchen.

The gang all moves into the living room with their own pizza boxes in hand with an extra box in their hands for Luffy. As her brothers had their own boxes in hand.

Shanks moves into the kitchen, opening the wine fridge taking out a bottle of sake that Zoro and Luffy always have on hand for him and themselves if they wish to drink.

He also pulls out a bottle of wine that Mihawk drinks. As Sanji pulls out the bottle opener and a wine glass out from Mihawk as he knows it is pointless to give that man before him a glass as he will just drink it straight out of the bottle.

Shanks nods his head to the young cook before him and spins on his own heel and heads over to the bar counter top and places the bottle and glass with bottle open before Mihawk. Who just nods his own head to them man.

Hospital with Law and several chairmen

"There is some troubling news." Said a man with white hair.

Law looks to the man that is speaking as he arches a brow from him to continue speaking. "What would that be?" He questions as the man did catch his subtle hint for him to continue.

"I have just received word that Dracule Mihawk has drawn his funding from the Hospital. As well as his son." Said the man as he had the look of fear and panic on his face.

"What is the big deal about them withdrawing their funding from the Hospital?" Questions Law looking at the other men sitting before him.

One thing Law never took the time to learn nor figure out was Luffy has ties to Dracule Mihawk as well as the man's son. But he has met the son several times without knowing this.

"Their funding is about 40% we rely on to keep this hospital going. As we are in the private sector." Said another man with light blue hair.

"What do you want me to do about this?" Law questions the men sitting before him.

"As the new head of the Hospital you will have to convince them to keep their funding with our Hospital. As they will both be at the Hospital ball where several other powerful families will be joining us for the first time in years." Said the light blue-haired man.

Law let out a sigh. "Very well. I will do all I am able to win them back over towards our Hospital." He told them as he pushed back his chair and stood up buttoning up two bottom buttons of his dress jacket. As he nods to the men and walks out of the office and heads to oversee the patients. He hasn't been able to see while wasting his time with those old fools who only worry and care about money and not the lives that they should be trying to save. 'Fools.' He thought to himself as he walked down the hallway away from them. Part of him regretting ever agreeing to becoming the new head of the hospital.

I hope everyone enjoys this little update. Learning a little bit about the trio's past and that they are more than what they seem to be.
