AN: So, we made it. This is where the time travel begins. Chapter 5 has some faces we recognise from Harry's past, but how will they react to Harry before he is meant to have met them? Thank you everyone for the love, I am so happy at all the notifications I receive. Feel free to leave a review as it is my goal to respond to any I see before each chapter is uploaded.

Harry did not know what had happened. One minute he was standing in the outer tunnels of the Chamber of Secrets and the next he was outside in the familiar streets of Surrey. Not only was his location different, but his body had returned to its former scrawny look.

Harry checked for his wand, just in case, but failed to find it. Logic had escaped Harry's thoughts, he needed to find someone who could help, but who?

'Not the Dursleys.' Harry thought, their lack of magic being only one of the many issues. 'The Weasleys are too far away, and London would be better, but still not easy.'

Harry walked to the closest train station to check the train times, knowing they would be long. He saw the next train was going to leave in 30 minutes, but the ticket was expensive, especially for a boy with no money. One thing he did learn though was it was in fact 1987 again. With even more of a reason to get help Harry thought about train hopping until a train guard moved him along, asking where his parents were.

Harry knew he was not getting out of this without his Aunt and Uncle finding out, so he ran. Harry ran towards to the exit to the train station hoping to escape without being caught but tripped. Harry felt a rush of air and a feeling of being squeezed, a familiar feeling, one he has often felt. Not having much time to think on it, Harry's face found its way to hitting the ground. Normally landing on concrete would cause a significant injury, but Harry's 7-year-old body was already used to taking many levels of impacts, Harry hunting was already Dudley's favourite game.

Harry got to his feet and was prepared to run, not knowing where he was. He was aware he had apparated but was sure where he went. He was lucky to not be splinched, due to the unprepared journey in a dangerous form of travel. Harry checked for any injuries he gained from his fall before moving around the back alley he had appeared in. He knew this place was familiar but could not think of where he was.

"Stop right there!" A rough voice said, "Laddy, get over here."

'It couldn't be...' Harry thought in disbelief.

That voice was a voice he had not heard in about 3 years, the voice of one of the most cautious men to ever help Harry.

"Moody?" Harry asked, hoping.

"Aye, lad." Moody responded, being as cautious as ever.

Harry moved forward to acknowledge his friend, but forgot this Moody did not know him. Moody acted according to his usual standards, vigilant as ever, and stunned to unknown wizard who was approaching him. Harry was not having much luck, for the third time today, he was struck by magic outside of his control.

It was many hours before Harry awoke. He was within St Mungos in a private room. As he moved to grab his glasses, which laid on the table by the beds side, he heard the door open. Harry was losing hope of the visitor being friendly. He put on his glasses to be able to see who had entered, and he was very surprised to see Minerva McGonagall.

'Minerva? Could this be the same Minerva that was with me in the chamber?' Harry was curious.

"Hello Mr Potter." Harry had not introduced himself, so it was getting more likely that his thought was correct.

"Professor?"

The Transfiguration professor was surprised that the young man she saw knew her title.

"Do you know who I am, young man?" she had to check.

Harry realised that this was not the professor he knew but had to know who he was somehow. He then remembered he would have the curse scar back. His scar had faded after Voldemort's defeat and was barely noticeable post-war. He started to get nervous, unsure how to answer the professor's question and was saved by the door opening again.

Alastor Moody limped into Harry's room of the hospital, wand in hand. He was followed by Madam Bones, the current head of the DMLE.

"You will do no such thing! If that was Polyjuice it would have worn off by now!" Madam bones looked livid.

"Just gotta make sure, you never know."

Harry smiled at the irony of Moody's thoughts. Moody saw this and raised his wand at the young boy in front of him.

"What are you so happy about boy?!"

The smile left his face quickly, hoping Moody would not attack him. Moody attempts to use Legilimens on Harry but was unsuccessful due to Harry learning how to use occlumency from Snape's portrait after the war.

This did not help convince Moody, in fact it did the opposite. Madam Bones stepped forward and pulled out a piece of parchment. She explained to Harry that they would like to get a drop of blood from him to make sure of his identity. He knew of this practice, due to its use in Gringotts Bank. He gave his consent to prick his finger.

The parchment reacted to the blood, with ink blotches forming on the page. A name started to reveal itself, the name everyone but Moody expected.

'HARRY JAMES POTTER.'
