Chapter 1: The Day Everything Changed

Deep breaths could be heard as a man with sunkissed olive skin sporting black cargos and a shredded tank top pulled himself through the rubble of what looked like buildings. This man had the build of a Greek god almost with broad shoulders, bulging biceps, tree-trunk like legs and sculpted upper body. Blood could be seen dripping down his chiseled jawline as one eye was swollen shut whilst his other cold steel blue eyes looked forward as he crawled. His hair disheveled and unkempt was normally black but right now it had a mix of ash and dirt collected in its strands. Various cuts and bruises could be seen on his body as he pulled himself.

"F-F-Father!" he yelled out almost like an enraged roar as he looked forward to seeing his father laying damn-near lifeless clutching his mother tightly on a dented car. He could hear their shallow breaths. He mustered up the strength to rise up to his feet standing tall at 6'4. He took deep breaths as he felt the pain course throughout his body as he stumbled over to the car to see his father and mother lying there.

His eyes trailed over both of their bodies looking to see their intense injuries. His father, Daxx, 6'6, powerfully built with dark hair cut short and messy in a style befitting his nomadic lifestyle. His eyes steel blue just like son. Olive skin tone marked with scars from over the years. His mother, Alexis, wavy auburn hair, pale complexion with freckles.

"L-Lucas, I-I'm s-sorry s-s-son," Daxx let out as tears started to form from Lucas's eyes. Crying was against the Kallarian culture. They didn't believe in showing weak emotions like crying.

"D-don't, father," Lucas choked out, his voice filled with anguish. "Save your strength. We'll get through this."

"N-No s-son. Y-You h-h-have to f-f-finish this, you have to stop him. W-W-We l-love you," his mother, Alexis let out despite her pain. He could feel the life leaving their bodies as their breaths slowly stopped.

Tears streamed down Lucas's face as he realized the severity of their injuries. He had grown up in a world of danger and adventure alongside his parents, but nothing could have prepared him for this moment. The weight of responsibility pressed upon his young shoulders, but he knew he had to be strong for both of them.

The beast that had slain his parents stood tall, letting out a roar as it locked its eyes onto Lucas. The beast stood tall at 10 feet with a black shell like appearance for skin. Spikes were plastered all over it's body in random places and the beast had a hulking like presence.

Lucas locked eyes with this beast, chest heaving as he stared back at the dangerous creature. He turned his head to look and see his parents lifeless bodies lying cold on the dented vehicle with blood seeping from their wounds. This enraged Lucas as he turned back toward the beast, eyes burning with an unquenchable fire. His grief and fury swirled together within, empowering him in a way he'd never known.

Amethyst light burst forth from his very pores, illuminating the ruins with its lavender glow. Tendrils of power snaked around his fists and up his tensed arms. "You will pay for what you've done," he vowed in a rumble.

The monster charged forward at Lucas, claws out looking to make Lucas suffer the same fate as his parents but Lucas had other ideas dodging blows with superhuman-like speeds. He launched into the air, spinning to launch a kick directly into its brow ridge making the creature stumble back as it's shell started to crack from the impact of the kick.

Lucas was far from finished, firing intense beams from his eyes as he bolted towards the beast. He pummeled into the beasts body as he approaded with a barrage of fist faster than what a human could see with the naked eye. It howled and swiped, clipping his side to send him crashing down in a shower of debris. Dusts and rubble arose from the hard landing that Lucas felt. The Kallarian-Human hybrid put a hand on his side where he was clipped. As he pulled his hand away, it was masked with blood.

Pain ignited his body as he groaned feeling the pain course through his body. But he couldn't give up. He wouldn't give up. He slowly rose up, chest heaving in a mixture of pain and anger.

Lucas let out a scream of rage as he summoned all of that rage and loss within him. The energy circled around his body encasing him in a strong, bright aura of energy. He opened his palm wide mustering up a ball of energy before he flew towards the creature screaming as he did so. Slamming his palm into the beast jaw, there was an explosion that rocked its very foundation. Chunks of its armored hide rained down among the ruins of the city.

With its protective plating stripped away at last, Lucas gritted his teeth, plugging his hand directly into its vulnerable flesh, Indigo energy coursed into it in pulsing waves, overloading its systems until at last it slumped motionless.

Lucas stood amongst the ruins of the fallen beast, heaving for breath as power coursed through every vein. He dropped down to his knees as the loss finally hit him all at once as tears immediately started streaming down his face.

As Lucas hung his head in anguish, the ruins around him began to rumble ominously. Slowly, he looked up to see a tear in the fabric of reality opening above. From it poured an unnatural green light that bathed the rubble in an eerie glow.

Rising unsteadily to his feet, Lucas gazed into the swirling vortex, sensing some unseen force was tugging at his very being. All around him, debris and shattered blocks of concrete were pulled upwards, drawn inexorably into the yawning void.

He dug in his heels, fighting the vertigo-inducing pull with all his flagging strength. But soon even the massive corpse of the fallen beast began sliding past, sucked towards oblivion. Lucas knew he hadn't the power to resist its call forever.

Lucas scrabbled desperately over ruin and returning to where he'd left his parents' bodies. He peeled the black leather vest that his father wore, off his lifeless body, the vest had a triple moon on the back in silver, a symbol used by the Kallarian people. Lucas willed his aura into a biofield once more, this time to protect only himself from what lay beyond.

With a final longing glance at his parents' still forms, Lucas embraced the unknown. He blasted upwards into the swirling green abyss, aura flaring defiantly against its unnatural energy. Reality itself seemed to warp and refract as he was drawn inside.

Then, all at once, the maelstrom subsided into pitch darkness. Lucas was left adrift, senses reeling. He had no way of knowing what new challenges awaited on the other side - or if any part of the life he'd known could ever be reclaimed. For now, all he had was the power within, and his will to survive.

And next thing Lucas knew everything went to black.

Batcave

It was a very exciting day for the members of the Justice League. Today was one of those days that heroes had hoped for a lot. An off-day. Most superheroes don't get an off-day but today was the one day that some were getting an off-day. The few that didn't were working just like any other day for a superhero.

"Bruce please tell me you have a lead." said a tall, strong woman with black hair and dark brown eyes dressed in blue jeans with black boots with a red v-neck shirt and black leather jacket. Her hair was up in a ponytail currently.

"Diana I don't." said a tall muscular man with black and grey hair with a usual scowl on his face and blue eyes. He wore black slacks with black dress shoes and dark blue dress shirt with sleeves rolled up.

"Okay let me know when you have a lead on these wormholes and don't let Clark know." Diana said as she walked towards the elevator of the Batcave.

"Clark's a freakishly strong alien with Super Hearing. I'm pretty sure he's gonna know when a wormhole opens up in the sky." Bruce says working on the super fast computer known as the batcomputer.

"Whatever Bruce." Diana said as she looked back at Bruce before she entered the elevator of the Batcave. Bruce spun around his spinning chair looking at Diana with a smirk as the elevator doors closed up cutting off their gazes at each other. As he could hear the elevator moving up, he pulled out a cell phone and dialed a number on his phone.

"Gather the others. It's time to rally the troops." He said to through the phone before he hung up the phone and turned back around to the computer.

Streets of Metropolis

Diana was walking down the streets of Metropolis with her phone in hand as she was talking to the head of her department. Diana works as an antiquities dealer at Louvre Museum in Paris. When she was walking she noticed the streets were a lot more busier than any other day.

"Listen if you need me, I'm on call but right now I have to go." Diana said as she approached her favorite ice cream parlor in Metropolis. She smiled as she walked into the parlor.

"Diana!" yelled one of the happy chefs working in the parlor.

"Hey Chase. It's been a while. The usual." She said as she walked up to the counter of the parlor and leaned up against the panel while Chase had grabbed an Waffle cone and started to fix the usual for Diana. The usual of course was none other than two scoops of Vanilla ice cream.

"So how's the job going?" Chase asked trying to make conversation the beautiful brunette. She smiled as she reached into her purse and pulled out a $20.

"It's going alright. Kinda boring." Diana replied as she handed him the dollar bill while he handed her the ice cream.

"You can keep the change Chase. Bye." She said as she waved goodbye before she turned around and walked out of the Ice Cream Parlor with Chase watching her mesmerized in her beauty.

Outside, Diana was eating her ice cream peacefully with a smile enjoying the taste of her favorite dessert made by the humans. Suddenly she felt the ground rumble causing her to take a defensive stance with a frown as she looked around at the people who began to try to take cover. She looked up to see a swirling, green abyss start to open up in the sky. Opening with a sound like crackling thunder.

"Bruce!" Diana grunted as she dropped her ice cream cone on the street and started to run in the opposite direction as everyone else. While running she turned down into a alleyway.

Minutes Later

The wormhole opened up directly above Centennial Park. The Man of Steel himself landed in front of his statue joining the likes of Batman, Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter. And now Wonder Woman landed next to them causing Bruce to look at her with eye of shock.

"Diana? Aren't you-" Batman was saying but Wonder Woman cut him off quickly.

"Save it. Let's just take down this thing." Wonder Woman said as she looked as fierce as ever while everyone got into a battle position.

With everyone in their position, their gazes were focused on the wormhole. As the legendary heroes stood ready to face the unknown threat, the wormhole surged with emerald light. A figure emerged screaming from its depths and crashed directly into the Superman statue, shattering it on impact.

The debris cloud settled to reveal a disoriented young man in tattered clothes, unconscious amid the rubble. His body shown with an otherworldly violet aura even in slumber.

"What kind of creature is this?" Aquaman asked, trident at the ready. But Wonder Woman held up her hand, stopping Aquman in his tracks. Her eyes scanned the young man seeing his the youthfulness in his face.

Before the discussion could continue, the wormhole belched again. This time, a hulking alien beast shoved its way through, falling to all fours with a roar that shook trees. It had tracked its quarry even here! The same beast he thought he killed had followed him here to this new Earth.

The beastly creature charged straight for the fallen man, clearly seeing him as easy prey. Batman tossed Wonder Woman a communication device. "Help him if you can. We've got the big guy."

She caught the man gently in her arms just as claws rent the earth where he'd lay. Carrying him to safety, Wonder Woman watched her comrades engage this new threat together as a team once more. But the questions arose: who was this traveler from another world, and what role would he play in their universe going forward?

A/N: What's good everybody! It's been a while since I wrote anything but I'm back trying another story. This fic kinda picks up where Journey of a Hero left off of, I didn't really know what I wanted to do with that character so I created another one. One that is a bit different. I kinda based Lucas Ryker and the Kallarians off of Saiyans from Dragon Ball Z.

So this story will be rated M for Mature, I was thinking of possibly doing Lemon scenes, I'm not really sure if that's something that you guys want to see, I'll put a poll up on my profile and you guys can decide through that. If not it's cool, I can just drop the rating down to T if that's the case.

Castings (These are my castings, if you don't like it then oh well, you can imagine someone else when you read the character):

Lucas Ryker - Joshua Orpin

Clark Kent/ Superman - Henry Cavill (Sue me)

Bruce Wayne/ Batman - Michael Fassbender

Diana of Themyscira/ Diana Prince/ Wonder Woman - Gal Gadot

Barry Allen/ The Flash - Iain de Caesteckier

Arthur Curry/ Aquaman - Alexander Skarsgard

Victor Stone/ Cyborg - John Boyega

J'onn J'onzz/ Martian Manhunter

This is the ZackAttack signing out!

Peace!
