The night was falling on Parfum Palace. Kisa sighed as she trudged in from the gardens. All she wanted to do was go for her second badge, but the Snorelax in the way had derailed her plans. So she had spent the day chasing the Pokemon of the owner of this mansion so he would lend his Pokeflute to someone else who could clear the way for her.

She was about to leave for the Pokemon Center to rest for the night when she heard an excited voice. "Hey, Kisa!"

Kisa stopped pushing some of her auburn hair from her eyes. She needed a haircut, perhaps a nice bob was in order.

"Hey, Shauna." She responded to the tanned girl.

She was really cute in those shorts of hers. Kisa had to force her eyes up to the girls cute haircut and bright green eyes. A contrast to her own blue ones.

"The owner said we could hang around for a while. The butler is going to set off fireworks in the garden to thank us for helping round up the Pokemon."

Honestly, Kisa wanted to skip and go to bed. But Shauna was so excited, she could not deny her.

"Alright, where are we going to watch?"

Shauna beamed at her. "Come on, up on the balcony."

Kisa followed her up the stairs and to a little lookout in the garden. She saw ice water and lemonade waiting for them in sweating pitchers. She gratefully poured a glass of the water and drank, sating her thirst.

"I thought you would be thristy." The butler bowed as he stepped from the shadows. "The master often forgets such niceties. Wait just a moment and I'll get the fireworks started."

The two girls stood side by side as the butler walked out to finish setting up the fireworks.

"Kisa," Shauna said, "did you know this is my first time watching fireworks with someone else?"

She looked over at the brunette girl, unsure where this was going. The faint light of the gardens was making Shauna's eyes sparkle. Kisa felt her breath hitch. She was so beautiful…

"I'm glad my first time is going to be with you. I'm glad we get to share something this special together. I hope maybe… there will be other firsts in our future too?"

Kisa's blinked rapidly as Shauna smiled at her in invitation. Right at that moment, there was the sound of explisons in the sky. Shauna looked sad for just a moment as she moved away from the kiss to be. Kisa reached out and laced their figners together.

Shauna smiled again as the contact and the sky lit with brilliant colors. Shauna was far too busy watching and cheering. Kisa however was watching the girl next to her as much as the display itself. As the fireworks came to an end, Kisa pulled Shauna closer to her and leaned in.

Shauna smiled and parted her lips as the girls gave into the mutal feelings at last and kissed as the last of the fireworks went off.

Kisa pressed her forehead to Shauna's. "I hope there will be many more firsts to come too, Shauna. Will you be my girlfriend?"

Shauna smiled at her and nodded. "Of course, Kisa. Let's be really happy together!"

Over the coming days, Kisa will face many challenges. She will rise to champion of the Kalos region, but she will always have Shauna by her side.

A/N: I've shipped Kisa (Serena) and Shauna since my first playthrough of Pokemon Y back in 2013 and I saw the firework scene on the day the game came out. I don't have that game anymore, though I still have my original team. Hoping when Legends Z-A comes out, we will finally get proper orange hair again so I can remake Kisa, but we will have to wait and see. See you next fic!
