This fanfic was inspired by the image that is being used as the cover page. One which I managed to stumble across earlier this year. However other then the image being merely the base inspiration for the story idea itself. I have come up with all the story line ideas and events myself on my own

The village of Konohagakure basked in the tranquil golden glow of the late afternoon sun, casting long shadows over the bustling streets and whispering leaves. The air was filled with the lively chatter of children at play, the calls of merchants advertising their goods, and the swift movements of shinobi on important missions.
Among them were two young ninjas, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, who always seemed to be at odds with each other. Today, their rivalry would lead to a clash of power that would change their lives forever.
Naruto(in his own way) had mastered the Rasengan under the tutelage of Jiraiya, while Sasuke, with guidance from Kakashi, had perfected his own move, the Chidori. Why say mastered when they had both just recently learned of these jutsu? Usage of the word mastered here covers only the basics. They have both learned the Rasengan and Chidori enough that they could use them in combat. It was however still a basic level of mastery that could not compare to those that had true mastery at the moment. However, the techniques were in a way symbols of their progress and ambition, fueling their competitive nature towards each other in this moment.
As they stood atop a rooftop, tension crackled between them like a charged storm. The air was thick with anticipation as they prepared to unleash these powerful attacks they learned not upon an enemy or an opponent. They were aiming to use these attacks on each other as Naruto called upon his shadow clones to form the Rasengan while Sasuke's Chidori sparked with deadly electricity after he took the pose to start charging it himself.
Watching from a distance, Sakura Haruno's heart raced with worry. She knew she had to stop them before anyone got hurt, but her panicked mind couldn't come up with a decent plan. And in her desperation, she made a hasty decision as she may not have been fully aware of it consciously but the three of them shared a unique bond. One that had existed between them individually since they were young. A bond that only linked the three of them together after they had been assigned as Team Seven thus it started growing as the effects were small and unnoticeable at the moment as again. They were not fully aware of the unique bond they shared consciously with each other individually, so why would they be aware of it evolving to be one of them as a trio.
Thus why Sakura's only thoughts were 'I have to stop them!' as she sprinted toward the impending clash. How or why she would do this was completely lost to her as the only thought on her mind was stopping them from making a mistake. Just how Naruto and Sasuke were not thinking straight either at the moment as the two should known better than anymore how dangerous the Rasengan and Chidori can be when they hit a person. Yet the three of them were not thinking straight at the moment and thus this accident just waiting to happen was going full speed ahead.
In other scenarios, this is where their Jonin sensei Kakashi Hatake would appear and save all three of them from making a mistake they would regret. Grabbing both Naruto's and Sasuke's arm throwing them away from each other. Though most importantly stopping them from hitting Sakura who was blindly running towards them as they were towards each other originally. That is what would happen in most scenarios however in this one sadly that is not the case. Kakashi does show up but not in time to stop Naruto or Sasuke. Instead, he shows up just in time for Naruto and Sasuke to realize what they are truly trying to do to each other not only is it too late to stop but Sakura manages to prevent the two of them from hitting each other.
Unfortunately, she could not stop them however from hitting her as that is how she stopped her teammate attack from hitting each other. With a sickening thud, Sakura took the full force of both attacks. The swirling energy of the Rasengan struck her right in the chest causing her to cough up blood as a result. Though it struck of luck in this otherwise worst case scenario this action caused Sakura's head to move enough that while the searing electricity of the Chidori burned her right side face and took off her right ear entirely. If Sakura's head had moved like it did rather than merely being burned and losing her right ear, Sasuke's hand would most likely been sticking out the other side of Sakura's head.
Sakura then collapsed her body was now being supported by Naruto and Sasuke who just stood there in shock. Naruto's palm was now on Sakura's chest as he felt her heart pumping over time even though Sakura had a vacant look in her left eye. While Sasuke's eyes for some reason was followed the path of Sakura's right ear that just removed from her body the right side of her face was fully burned with her right eye not even visible as a result.
Despite all of this Kakashi the first of Team Seven to recover realized that Sakura despite the current state that she was in at the moment. She was still alive and thus it was possible that there was still time to save her if she was taken to the hospital right away. Two people using A-Rank justus on each other in a place like this, in the middle day, and in broad daylight to was bound to notice after all. If it requires more then what the doctors at the hospital were capable of then Tsunade or even Shizune should be able to get there in time.
How was Sakura even able to live be struck by two A Rank justu at the same time when she might be one of the smartest of her generation and possibly have the best charka control as well. Combat wise she clearly was not even more so with the those she is normally seen with. That is another instance where things are different then they would be in most case scenarios.
