Summary
These stories occur during season 1 and season 2. So Steve has just left, Jasmine is Fiona new friend, Frank and Karen just happened, Mickey is in juvie and the Ian, Kash, Linda stuff is happening. Ethel and Johah are being fostered by V and Kev as well. The stories just add to the main plot shown in the tv show and develop Lucy's character and explore the struggles kids like the Gallaghers face.
Chapter 1 – piano recital
Lee and Lucy go to her piano recital which she hasn't told anyone else about. This is just a short story to show what life for Lucy and some of her friends is like, mostly it's shown through the chats Lucy and Lee have. Includes a little Gallagher party at the end. There's a couple of sweet sibling moments and lots of partying.
Chapter 2 – death, rain and steps
The neighbourhood kids are busy playing together which ends up in fight which annoys an elderly neighbour and has unfortunate ending, the Gallaghers make the most of it though. Lee, Lucy and a couple of the other street kids visit and friend and get rescued from the sudden rain by Carol, a nurse Lucy knows well. When the rain finally stop they head home and Lee stays at the Gallaghers for the night and gets to witness a first for Liam.
Chapter 3 – Frog
Trigger warning - suicide
Lucy is making the most of the onesie she got from the thrift shop, much to the embarrassment of Ian and Debbie. For once she is being a normal kid and making new friends but that comes to a crashing halt when she witnesses the end result of her new friends brothers suicide. Fiona struggles with how to comfort and support her but Ian and Lip do a pretty good job, Fiona's there for her at the end too.

Chapter 5 – jasmine's party
It's spring break and Jasmines husband is away so she's ready to party, so is Fiona and she drags the kids along so she doesn't have to worry about them being home alone. Carl goes off with Jasmines daughter Becky and Debbie interrupts them which ends in tears for Debbie who is feeling insecure about her lack of development. Lucy helps a drunk Fiona, both that night and the next morning. They all stagger home to find Lip and Ian had had just as much fun.
