Chapter 35
Towa and Setsuna are still in the bedroom where they remain unconscious due to the power of the Memori Nori's pedals. Rin just watches them with sad patience. She's human and yet all she wants to do to help her daughters get better as soon as possible.
A knock gets her attention to the door, "How are they?" Gin asks her kindly. Rin sadly smiles, "They're still out. The Tenseiga is doing its best to prevent them from transforming into full demons." She responds to him.
Gin sits next to her in the chairs. "I've been told that whenever a half demon transforms into a full demon, their demon side takes control of the host in order to protect itself until it's satisfied with its sole purpose."
Rin turns her sight to him. "Its sole purpose? What are you trying to say?"
Gin shows a grim look. "It just kills anyone who is unfortunate to cross paths. Friend or foe. It doesn't matter. After such an experience, half demons can't recall for what they just did. It's extremely terrifying to say at the least. That's why some would have something to prevent the transformation."
That gave Rin an idea. "So far, Moroha was able to create those bracelets so that they wouldn't be able to." She said so far, seeing that both of her daughters wearing them. "But then there's an outside source that's trying to disable the bracelet's effects." She stands up to see a newcomer entering the room.
"Rin, how have you been so far?" An old man with a hammer smiles at her. "Master Totosai, I'm ok. But my daughters are not in the greatest shape." She bows in respect. Totosai can clearly see with his beady eyes that the Tenseiga is levitating. "I see. The Tenseiga is stopping their transformation. Anyway, there's something I need to ask. Where are Inuyasha and Moroha?"
"Inuyasha, Kagome and Moroha went to Sakura Hills High School to deal with the Memori Nori tree demon." Gin answers the question. Totosai looks in the bull's direction. "Oh. Well, I came by to bestow some weapons for the quarter demon. Inuyasha has informed me earlier that Moroha's demon blood is trying to take over her human soul. He gave me his fang to create this sword for his daughter." Totosai said as he shows the bundle, unwrapping it to show a sword in its sheathe like the Tetsusaiga.
"This here is Kurikaramaru, A sword with great potential." Totosai said as he pulls the sword out. Once out there's a dragon image on the blade close to the hilt. "There are two other weapons I was able to create with Sesshomaru's assistance." He puts the Kurikaramaru back into its sheath and brings out the two weapons to show Rin.
"What are they?" Rin asks him curiously. Totosai reveals another sword by the hilt is in a circle instead of an oval. "This is the Kikujumonji. It can transform the blade into a weapon of light. And this here…" Totosai shows a naginata with a blade with an opening on top. "Is Yukari no Tachikiri. Not only can it cut anything from this world, but also anything that is invisible unless wielded by its master." Totosai explains the weapons' purposes.
The two weapons pulsate on their own and levitate towards the twins. The Tenseiga opens its barrier to allow entrance to them. The sword hovers over Towa's body while the naginata flows over Setsuna. Upon instinct by how close the weapons are to the twins, both simultaneously grab the weapon. Once taken hold, they woke up, panting.
"Towa, Setsuna!" Rin runs to embrace them both. Towa looks at the sword. "What's up with this sword?" She expects the sword as she pulls it out of its sheath. "That sword was reacting to your demon blood." Totosai said to her.
Towa managed to get out of the bed, and then places the sword back into the sheath and straps the leather belt from her right shoulder to the left side of her hip to have the sword behind her.
"And this naginata?" Setsuna asks the same question as she gets out of the other side of the bed. "That weapon is doing the same way. I just need you two to go to Sakura Hills and give Moroha this sword." Totosai said to them.
Then the naginata begins to pulsate the blade red. "What's it doing?" Setsuna asks Totosai as she looks at the weapon closely. Totosai smile, "That there is able to locate the red thread of fate." Setsuna turns to him. "Red Thread of Fate?"
"Indeed. Legend of it is inconceivable. The legend foretold that the two ends of the red thread tie to the pinkie of two individuals fated to be together no matter what." Totosai explains to her. "So then it can locate where it is?" She asks him.
Totosai nods. "Focus on the weapon's purpose and let it lead you."
Setsuna closes her indigo eyes and meditates with the naginata in her grasp. Even though her eyes are closed, she sees a red line showing itself to her. She absently pressed the dull end of the naginata to see where it's one end is.
'Moroha.' She said in her head. The vision shows Setsuna Moroha fighting her parents when transformed. She then opens her eyes quickly. "We have to go." She tells Towa as she and Towa run out to the front door of the mansion.
"Allow me to escort you two." Riku appears before them. Towa and Setsuna nod and hold onto Riku's shoulder. He flicks his blue stud earring and sends them to the schoolyard where the vision was for Setsuna to locate Moroha.

Moroha keeps screaming in pain as the demon in her body continues it attempt to keep the transformation intact.
"Oh Moroha." Kagome looks with a sad face, knowing fully well that she can't do anything, let alone hurt her own daughter, even if it's worth a shot. Literally. Inuyasha on the other hand is trying his better to get a chance to knock Moroha out. But it's becoming more difficult for him because the transformation is getting quite aware of his moves.
"Give me the sword." Moroha snarls in a feral voice. Remembering the times he transformed into a full demon, Kagome told him that whenever he spoke, his voice is feral as well. Just hearing that has him more cautious than ever. Even with his sword in his grasp, there's no telling where he can strike Moroha without even hurting her in the process.
Riku appears beside Kagome, surprising her. "What are you guys doing here?" She asks them quickly.
"We're here to save Moroha." Setsuna answers first as she puts the naginata's pole to the ground like a walking stick. Kagome can see how serious Setsuna is all of sudden. She turns her sight to Towa who has her sword from its sheath. "We're not going to let Moroha suffer from the demon tree." She confirms it. Kagome then noticed another sword strapped to Towa's left hip.
"Why don't you use both of them? Wouldn't be easier?" Kagome asks her niece. Towa looks down to the sword. "Oh that is for Moroha. Setsuna and I are going to make sure that Moroha grabs hold of this sword in order to revert her transformation." She explains to Kagome. Kagome can tell that the sword for Moroha is the similar to the Tetsusaiga. "Ok."
