The gang went to Seafoam Island to help Professor Oak to discover the mystery of how Slowpoke evolves into Slowbro. There, Professor Westwood V is also trying to solve the mystery. Jessie captures Shellder, and tries to rush a Slowpoke's evolution, forcing Psyduck to stall the evolution.

Even though they're at the beach on Seafoam Island, Ash and Laoise aren't relaxing. They're training hard so they'll be in top shape for the Pokémon League.

Right now Ash was jogging with Pikachu beside him. "Misty, Brock, Laoise, keep up the pace!"

Nearly three feet away, Laoise was wearing a blue t-shirt with the Hogwarts crest, flexible blue jeans and a turquoise helmet. She was roller skating while holding a bag with her sneakers and socks to change into later.

Her Oddish, Leafy, and, Storm, her Pikachu were sprinting alongside her, taking this training to heart.

"We know you all can run faster than that!" Laoise called back.

"Ash and Laoise sure are giving it, one-hundred percent!" Brock remarked.

Misty said, "They got a little sidetracked by that Slowbro, so they're trying to make up for lost time!"

Soon, a car starts driving alongside our trainees and splashes water at them as it goes by and sprays exhaust fumes at them as it goes ahead, blinding them. Blinded, they walk into the path of an oncoming car.

However, instead of the three getting hit, they end up causing a traffic jam.

Officer Jenny arrives to defuse the arguments between Ash and the drivers, who quickly speed off. She tells the four that it is the surfing season, and that the famous wave Humungadunga is coming. Surfers from all over the world have tried to ride the Humungadunga, which only appears once every 20 years, and plant their flag at the top of a rock, much like a famous surfer named Jan had done some 40 years ago.

Excited, Ash decided to try out surfing, but his first try does not bode well. He tried again, but his foot cramped up. At that moment, he is saved by an older man named Victor and his Pikachu whose tail glows before a wave arrives.

Ash blacks out, and he later wakes up in a beach house near the cliff where Puka was sensing the waves.

Pikachu was relieved to see Ash awaken, "Pika!"

Ash smiled, "Pikachu."

Misty leaned over him, "How do you feel, Ash?"

"Yeah, that sure was a major wipeout!" Laoise remarked.

Brock asked, "Are you okay, Ash?"

Ash looked around, "Where am I?"

"This is my cabin." The man who saved Ash appeared. He has long greying hair and mustache and blue-green eyes. "How are you, kid? So, do you hurt anywhere?"

"I'm okay. Who are you?" Ash sat up.

Misty replied "Oh, that's Victor."

Brock explained, "Victor's the reason you're still here. He saved your life, Ash."

Laoise added, "And I wouldn't want to go to the Pokémon League without my training partner."

Victor gave Ash a drink.

"Thanks. And thank you for saving me." Ash took the mug gratefully.

"Oh, no, don't thank me." Victor looked out to his pikachu, out on the cliff and looking out at the ocean once again. "Thank my Pikachu, Puka."

"Puka?" Ash questioned.

"Cute little fellow." Laoise said sincerely as she petted Leafy, "But I've never seen a Pikachu with blue eyes before. Does that happen as they age?"

Victor only chuckled at her artless question. "No, his eyes were that same blue since I first met him. That's me and him in the photo over there..."

Both Pikachu and Storm go out to meet Puka. The three Pikachu engaged in an animated conversation.

The trio of Pikachu looked out over the ocean, while below it, a periscope popped up and spots the three. Team Rocket, in the Gyarados submarine, plotted to steal them both.

Victor revealed his past to the youngster: 40 years ago, he had been a young surfer who tried to emulate Jan. Although he was not that good, Jan eventually took him under his wing, teaching him all about surfing. After Jan conquered Humungadunga and planted his flag atop the rock, he gave his own surfboard to Victor, as well as a word of encouragement. With that, Jan had left to see the world. 20 years later, the Humungadunga had arrived, but Victor had failed to conquer it. Discouraged, he was about to give up on surfing, but then he met Puka, who had been cast away on a tiny raft. Since then, the two have worked as a team: Puka had the ability to sense the waves, emitting a bluish glow whenever a big wave approached, and it helped the two conquer many big waves on the island, with Humungadunga being the only one that they have yet to conquer.

Just then, Pikachu, Storm and Puka are heard crying for help outside, getting our heroes' attention.

"Pikachu!" Ash cried.

"And Storm! They sound like they're in trouble!" Laoise cried.

It's revealed that Team Rocket grabbed the trio of electric mice as our heroes and Victor head outside and see what's going on.

"Pikachu!" Ash noticed.

"What's going on?" Victor questioned.

Team Rocket recited their trademark motto.

"A twerp on the land is worth two Pikachu!" Jessie taunted from her spot.

A set of mechanical arms lowered the still shrieking Storm, Pikachu and Puka into the sub.

"Pikachu!" Ash tries to go after both Pokémon, but the others stop him before he falls off the clip.

"No, Storm!" Laoise began to hurry downwards.

"Puka!" Victor appeared to have the same idea.

He lead the youngsters to his speedboat to search.

Team Rocket had sealed the three pikachu in a glass container. Diving down to make their getaway, Team Rocket encountered a group of Gyarados during their mating season. They attack the submarine and finish it off with a Hyper Beam, causing the now-destroyed submarine to launch into the air. This sends Team Rocket blasting off, which frees Pikachu, Storm and Puka.

"Help them, Bulbasaur!" Ash called out his Bulbasaur.

"You too, Skyler!" Laoise called her pidgeotto.

Both Bulbasaur and Skyler materialized.

"Quick, catch them with your Vine Whip!"

"Skyler, give a helping wing!"

Bulbasaur managed to catch Pikachu, Skyler had caught Storm, but Puka continued to fall and hits the water.

Victor dove into the water and rescued Puka using Jan's surfboard. However, the waves become more fierce and Brock, now driving the boat, is forced to retreat before they capsize. Now alone in the water, Victor notices Puka beginning to glow, a sign that Humungadunga is coming.

The four trainers are warned by Officer Jenny to evacuate the beach and stand as far back as possible. Worried about Victor and Puka's safety, they are relieved when to see the two riding the wave from atop a nearby cliff.

Victor got out his flags, leapt from the lip of the wave, and planted his flag at the top, right next to Jan's flag as our heroes watched in awe and amazement.

Ash cheered. "They did it!"

Brock crowed. "Alright!"

"Oh yeah!" Laoise laughed joyously.

The four trainers cheered as Victor and Puka hit calm water after the landing.

Back on shore, Ash ran up Victor. "Victor, that was awesome! Congratulations."

"Yeah, that was crazy cool!" Laoise nodded.

Victor laughed holding a thumb up.

Pikachu congratulated Puka as well. "Pika Pika!"

Storm nodded excitably, "Pi Pikachu!"

Puka nodded humbly, "Pi Pi."

Victor soon spots a couple of young surfers nearby, and approached them, reiterating Jan's advice from 40 years before in an attempt to inspire the next generation of surfers.

Now, at the very top of the rock, Victor's flags waved proudly beside Victor's childhood hero's. But it was more than a flags, it proof that it's never too late for some dreams to come true.

Soon after the gang went to a large greenhouse called the Xanadu Nursery to get some fertilizer for Ash's mother, but Bulbasaur sniffed the flowers and becomes paralyzed. In the greenhouse they meet Florinda who works at the local nursery. She's afraid that her Gloom is not evolving into a Vileplume because she's not training it properly. When Team Rocket burst in and attempted to steal Gloom, everyone sees just how strong a Pokémon can become—through love.

While hiking to their next adventure, our young heroes find a picture perfect spot to set up camp. Now Ash and Laoise can finally begin training for the Pokémon League. Unless, of course, something more interesting comes along.

So the four are a t campsite, training for the Pokémon League, when they meet a Trainer named Katrina. Though Brock tries to make an advance, Ash quickly accepts an offer to battle her Raichu with Pikachu. However, before the battle begins, Team Rocket suddenly appears with a net in an attempt to steal Pikachu, but they catch Raichu instead. After they realize this, Raichu breaks free, and uses a Thunderbolt and Mega Kick to knock Team Rocket over. As they are preparing to send Team Rocket flying, a voice yells, "Cut!"

It's revealed that a film crew was capturing the action. Soon, the director, a round eccentric man showed up.

"Fabulous! I loved it! You're in my way." He picked up Pikachu and sets him aside. "Now we'll take a crane shot looking down on the battle scene and moving in on our villains, ending on an extreme closeup of the losers. That's the money shot."

Jessie and James got up to snap, "Nobody calls us losers!"

"Prepare for trouble! With new stunt doubles!"

Jessie blinked "Wait a second, aren't those our lines?"

"To protect the movies from devastation. To restore spectacle and imagination. To make great epics of hate and love. To direct the best films you ever heard of. Cleavon Schpielbunk! Winner of the golden Growlithe award for Best Director and the Flea Collar Film Festival! Lights, camera! It's your mark, but I call action or prepare to fight! That's right!"

Misty and some of the others come into the scene.

Misty wondered, "Who's he?"

Ash shrugged "I don't know."

Schpielbunk is devastated that none of the group has heard of him. "All kids care about today are those crazy cartoon shows!"

Brock spoke up, "Mr. Schpielbunk, you're my hero! You directed my absolute most favorite movie of all time! 'I Saw What You Ate Last Tuesday'."

Laoise wrinkled her nose. That movie was boring in her opinion.

Katrina can't believe her ears. "You made that? Wow! I almost saw that one!"

"Well, it's nice to know that there are some young people who go to see great films even if they lose millions at the box office." Schpielbunk started weeping tears of joy.

"I'm... actually more of an Epic Fantasy, Musicals and family adventure moviegoer." Laoise admitted, "Though I am a fan of Tim Burton's films, he directed some of my and my sister's favorite movies."

Schpielbunk fell over in disappointment.

Laoise shook her head wryly, "Gotta be brutally honest dude. I'm talking about the creative genius behind Batman, the Corpse bride and Frankenweenie."

Katrina asked Laoise curiously, "Which ones do you and your sisters like?"

Laoise replied brightly, "Mine is the Nightmare before Christmas. Shae enjoyed Beetlejuice, and Taryn liked Edward Scissorhands."

Schpielbunk reveals he is in the area to cast a Pokémon for his all-Pokémon production, 'Pokémon in Love'.

"It's a love story, but its also got lots of action and plenty of suspense! And here's a sneak preview! The star of my film will be, Wigglytuff!"

He pointed a female Wigglytuff that blushed at the praise.

Ash blinked, "Wigglytuff?"

"Aww, she's cute." Laoise smiled.

Meowth laughed "If that's the star, it's gonna be a real snooze fest!"

The Wigglytuff thej angrily attacked him with Double Slap.

"I'm star-struck!" Mewoth fell over.

"With a Double Slap attack that strong, Wigglytuff could be a superstar! I'd be careful not to step on any of Wigglytuff's lines." Brock then kneeled down to the Wigglytuff's level, "Just look at that face, hard to believe something so cute can be such a brute."

Wigglytuff gets offended by Brock's comment and attacked him, too.

Ash commented "Wigglytuff's kinda touchy."

Jessie said, "It's a real prima-donna."

Misty murmured quietly. "Takes one to know one."

Jessie was confused. "Huh? Know one what?"

"Still wanna huggle her." Laoise said. "Uh, the Wigglytuff, I mean. If she's the star, who's the co-star?"

Schpielbunk answered, "Abra was going to costar, but Wigglytuff was too tough and Abra teleported off the set."

And now he has to find a replacement.

On stage are a Doduo, Arbok, Weezing, Hitmonlee, Pikachu, Raichie, Meowth, and a Tauros. Togepi tries to go up to the stage, but Misty doesn't let it. "I think you're too young for the part, Togepi."

Ash said, "Good luck with your audition, Pikachu!"

Pikachu nodded, "Pika Pika!"

Brock hurried forward, "Sorry, Ash, but Vulpix is perfect for the part!"

Vulpix materialized.

"The first word in Staryu is star! Okay, Staryu, here's your chance to..." But before Misty can call Staryu out, Psyduck materializes as Misty falls over in disbelief.

"Maybe it's a horror movie." she mumbled.

"Psyduck's too silly to be scary." Laoise said. "Hmm, maybe Leafy ought to get in on it!" And she let out her Oddish. "Even we don't get picked, just have some fun."

"Oddish!" Leafy nodded.

"My star has to do more than act!" Schpielbunk declared. "A real star's gotta be able to dance, too!"

The music starts, which is actually the Pokémon Dance mix. The Pokémon easily pass though after showing off their dancing skills.

Then, Schpielbunk wanted the Pokémon to sing. However, as if on cue, Jigglypuff appears and puts everyone to sleep.

After waking up, Schpielbunk wants everyone to sing with Wigglytuff. When Meowth mentions to her that he works alone, he and Team Rocket's other Pokémon are attacked with Double Slap. As a result, an enraged Team Rocket leaves to comfort their Pokémon.

After realizing that the show business is tough, Pikachu, Raichu, Leafy and Vulpix dejectedly leave the stage. Only Psyduck, who Misty claims is too stupid to get off the stage, gets the part. Brock comes to Psyduck's defense and claims that it was only acting stupid.

Later, Brock asks Schpielbunk for a plot summary of Pokémon in Love, and learns that Psyduck and Wigglytuff are lovers who are caught in a family feud between Psyduck's fellow Water types and Wigglytuff's Normal types. However, just as the movie reaches a climactic battle, ruffian Fighting types appear, and a stray arrow hits Psyduck, fatally wounding him. The family feud ends after Wigglytuff shows remorse over Psyduck's death. While Brock is amazed at Schpielbunk's brilliance, Misty claims that it isn't original at all, instead being similar to Romeo and Juliet. Despite this, the trainers agreed to assist the production. Meanwhile, Team Rocket begins plotting their revenge on behalf of their Pokémon.

Schpielbunk begins filming by shooting the climactic scene, with Staryu providing rain effects, Pidgeotto providing wind effects, Leafy with grass types for natural ambience effects, and Pikachu and Raichu among the large mass of Normal and Water types for thunder effects, as Pikachu and Raichu have their respective groups attack each other. However, as Wigglytuff and Psyduck prepare to enter the fray, Pikachu is thrown into Wigglytuff, and it responds adversely. Just then, smoke fills the area and Team Rocket appears. However, this only causes all of the Pokémon to turn their attention on Team Rocket and then Schpielbunk orders his crew to join the brawl.

The four then take the opportunity to pose in front of the now-unattended camera, but they refocus when Team Rocket gets the upper hand and kidnaps all of the Pokémon, except Psyduck, with the help of a large magnet on a crane. As both Misty and Wigglytuff prompt Psyduck to take action, Psyduck manages to snap and, in his brief moment of Psychic powers, uses Confusion to free everyone and send Team Rocket flying. As Psyduck passes out from exhaustion, Wigglytuff comes over to him, concerned, while Ash leads all of the Pokémon to cheer for Psyduck.

Later that night, our heroes are sitting by a campfire with the film crew while Psyduck and Wigglytuff sit together and look out over the lake.

Ash remarked, "Laoise, we're supposed to be training for the Pokémon League, but we got sidetracked again."

Misty then said. "Yeah, but making a movie is a chance of a lifetime."

"Yeah, I guess so. And Leafy sure got some nice experience out of it." Laoise shrugged, petting her Oddish.

Brock added, "Plus, you met somebody who shares the same dream you two do."

"I bet we're gonna have some great battles in the Pokémon League." Ash said.

Katrina teased, "But don't expect me to go easy on either of you two, just because we're friends."

"No problem." Laoise agreed.

Ash nodded, "Okay, Katrina."

Schpielbunk then popped up, "Great concept! It could be my next epic, a boy, his best friend, and girl who share the same dream to train Pokémon. In the first weekend alone it could gross fifty million!"

Brock pointed to himself, "I'd sure love to star in that movie!"

Misty agreed, "Brock would be great."

Schpielbunk said, "It's a tough job, the actor I choose will be swarmed by millions of female fans!"

"I can handle that!"

"Yeah, but I wish the next movie to be something just as exciting with a convincing conflict, villain included. To make it way more interesting." Laoise shrugged.

She was firm in the opinion that good, interesting stories always need good villains, for adversity was never a stranger in life. Everyone ends up fighting something or other their entire life: It could be either crime, illness, and/or even bigotry.

Schpielbunk brightened, "Definitely! A Fantasy about an unusual young woman lost in her problems who will need to uncover family secrets to save her loved ones!"

As he talked, Wiggltuff snuggled up to an oblivious Psyduck.

And so, our heroes have learned that making movies can be lots of fun, and lots of hard work. And speaking of hard work, Ash and Laoise need to start some hard work of their own! The Pokemon League is just a few weeks away! They gotta get moving! Unlike Team Rocket.

Laoise had taken to different forms of exercise with her pokèmon preparing for the Indigo league. This included either jogging or roller skating to Pallet town with her pokèmon, her parents acquiesced because they knew her friends would be in Pallet.

It's a beautiful morning in Pallet Town, and Ash and Brock are up with the sun, getting ready for the Pokémon League competition.

"I'm really breaking a sweat today! It feels great to workout!" Brock said.

He, Ash and Pikachu were doing some stretches.

Ash said, "You know me, nothing I love more than getting a nice, hard workout!"

Pikachu agreed. "Pika!"

On this day, Laoise chose jogging plan with her pokèmon and her sisters on the way to Pallet Town to train.

Just then, however, a special delivery arrives at the Ketchum residence, with four invitations to the Hollywood premiere of Pokémon in Love, the film that they had helped produce a few days back.

Misty's eyes sparkled, "Wow! Hollywood! I'm gonna see the stars!"

Brock grinned, "And I'm gonna be seeing the starlets!"

"We're going to Hollywood!" Everyone but Ash, Laoise and Shae gushed excitedly.

Although Ash is reluctant to abandon another day of training in order to go to Hollywood, he eventually relents, and leaves for Hollywood with his friends and Delia.

Laoise looked to her elder sister, Shae, "Should we tell them?"

Shae only shrugged. "Won't matter, not till they see for themselves."

Elsewhere, while putting up a billboard for the movie, Jessie and James are thrilled about the premiere even though they were not invited, while Meowth is somewhat indifferent. Meowth then recalls his earliest memory: being alone at Camp Pokéhearst. As a young Meowth, he was always hungry, once having been hung from a tree piñata-style for tipping over a basket of baseballs, believing it was food. While tied up, he saw a movie being premiered, called That Darn Meowth!, where he learned that Hollywood had ice cream and fried chicken, and he instantly decided to go there.

Soon enough, the gang arrives to Hollywood. But it wasn't Hollywood, California but the Hollywood of Kanto.

In the past it was a vibrant, bustling city, as some of the gang imagined it as such; however, in the present day, it is virtually deserted with almost all buildings boarded up and closed, apart from Schpielbunk's theater and at least one fighting couple. This was due to the costs of movies being significantly high enough to be economically unsustainable.

Misty questioned uncertainly, "Is this where the premiere is? I don't believe it! What a dump."

Taryn rubbed the back of her head, "I guess all that we said and thought of was just wishful thinking."

Brock mentioned, "They usually go to one of those big, beautiful movie theaters for the premieres of all the new blockbusters."

"This block looks pretty busted to me." snarked Misty.

They arrive at their destination and Schpielbunk shows up. "That's right, film fans, this is the place where motion picture history is about to be made! Get ready for the gala world premiere of Cleavon Shpielbunk's, Pokémon in Love!"

As Shpielbunk talks, Team Rocket listens in from across the street then Meowth suddenly decides to leave, promising Jessie and James to return before the start of the movie.

Laoise got restless the first few minutes of the film and meant to alert her sisters but Taryn was trying to watch while Shae had fallen asleep. So she left a note as she snuck out.

"I still think the same as before, Schielpunk's directing doesn't hold a candle to half the movies I enjoyed." Laoise mumbled and she began to walk around in search of a snack stand.

Then she overheard Meowth reminiscing.

Meowth arrives at an old run-down snack house, and recalls his first time there: back then, the snack stand was prosperous, and when he had tried to get food, he was caught stealing by the store owner, and in the ensuing chase, he had lost his food. Having eluded the chef, he was approached by a gang of Meowth, led by a Persian, and was accepted into the gang. Through the gang, he was able to satiate his hunger by stealing the food he needed, but found that he was still missing some love in his life.

Coming to the boarded-up remains of what was once a posh department store, Meowth recalls the first time meeting his first crush, another Meowth named Meowzie, at the window of that store. He recalls having dashed across the street to meet her, causing a major traffic pileup in the process, only to be rebuked. Just as her owner had recalled her into her new diamond-encrusted Poké Ball, she remarked at how, as a street Meowth, that he would never win her over, as she lived in a life of luxury. Meowth vowed at that point to try to become human in order to impress her.

Back in the present day, Meowth comes across a run-down mansion, recalling his time there. Back in the day, the mansion was home to an academy that taught students upper-class etiquette. Through spying on one of the classrooms, he had learned, albeit slowly, how to walk - the drawback being that he got caught more often whenever he tried to steal food (having only to run on two legs instead of four). Eventually, he had also managed to speak human language, again from observing the classes. The first word he had understood was rocket. At this point, Meowth breaks into song, believing that his new talents would win Meowzie over. However, when he returned to Meowzie to show off his talents, he was quickly dismissed as a freak, worse than a street Meowth. Angry over her rejection, Meowth set off to be the richest freak she ever saw, all to win her over. His journey eventually landed him at Team Rocket, and the rest is history. As he finishes reminiscing, however, he is surrounded by his old gang, and he agrees to follow Persian, which does not go unnoticed by Jessie and James, who were about to enter the theater without him.

Persian proposes that Meowth rejoin the gang, believing that his human capability would be an asset. However, Meowth refuses, being loyal to Team Rocket. However, Persian brings forth Meowzie, to the surprise of Meowth. Over a private conversation, Meowzie reveals that not long after Meowth had left, the city was caught in a recession. Meowzie was abandoned by her owner who was moving away, unable to afford to keep her, and was taken in by the same Meowth gang. Believing that Meowzie is too good for this place, Meowth tries to take her away, but is stopped by the rest of the gang. But before they can take any action, Jessie and James appear, and while Arbok and Weezing deal with the other Meowth, Meowth and Persian square off on the roof of a building. Although Meowth wins their brief battle, Meowzie runs over to Persian, concerned about its safety. Stunned, Meowth wonders why Meowzie would not leave with him, and Meowzie replies that she had owed Persian her gratitude for taking her in, and the fact that to her, Meowth was still a freak. Dejected, Team Rocket leaves together, with Jessie and James trying to comfort Meowth, saying that Meowth is still their freak.

Laoise overheard most of it but had only followed to see what Team Rocket was up to. Although she pitied Meowth, the choice had ultimately been Meowzie's even if it was a superficial one.

So she sighed and began walking back to the theater but something makes her stop near a dumpster.

In the theater, the others are just finishing the movie and clap when the curtains come back on the screen. Shae awoke thanks to the lighting and adjusted her glasses.

Schpielbunk walks on the stage, "Well, what do you think? I've done it again, haven't I? I've given birth to a new cinematic masterpiece!"

Ash said, "I don't know if it's a masterpiece, but I didn't see us anywhere in that whole movie."

Misty chimed in, "Neither did I."

Brock agreed, "Yeah, where were we?"

"I'm pretty sure I saw a shot of what looked like Pikachu and Togepi from behind, but only for a second." Delia mused.

Pikachu blinked, "Pika?"

Togepi just chirped, "Togepi!"

Schpiebunk replied, "We all must sacrifice for art! My film is about Pokémon, so I left you all on the cutting room floor. It hurts me so to do it!"

Misty then wonders why they had even been invited in the first place, despite her Psyduck being in a leading role, with Schpielbunk simply stating that he couldn't get any real movie stars to attend their premiere.

Schpielbunk confessed, "Well, I couldn't get any movie stars to come, so I decided to invite all the little people!"

Just then, Team Rocket appears and does their motto, and promptly leave when they are asked why they are there.

Taryn looked around, "Shae, where's Laoise?"

Shae looked around then felt the note on her lap. She picked it up to read, "Gone outside for some air be back after movie." she gently crumpled, "She's probably waiting outside."

And so the group left the theater rather disgruntled.

To their surprise, they saw Laoise near and open dumpster but she was dragging some crates.

"Laoise, what're you doing?" Ash questioned.

"There's a little pokèmon stuck in there!" Laoise pointed, "I wanted to get it out but I'm too short."

"Stand back." Shae said, "There could be broken glass and other hazardous junk in there."

"Better leave it to me!" Brock insisted, mostly to impress Taryn.

So he climbed in and saw what Laoise had overheard: a Meowth but this one was pretty small.

"You're right it's a Meowth!" Brock called. "But it's smaller, probably still young. It must've gotten separated from it's litter possibly."

The little cat pokèmon was already scared being trapped alone, and like Laoise, Brock and the others wanted to get it out as fast as they could.

Ash and the others didn't call out their other pokèmon as not to frighten the little one anymore than necessary.

Shae handed Brock her trademark red leather jacket to try and catch the Meowth kitten. Finally Brock wrapped the jacket around the kitten and pulled it out.

"Hey, can I have that Meowth?" Laoise held her arms out.

The female Meowth is handed to her. Although surprised, Ash and Misty were glad the little pokèmon was rescued.

"Is it alright?" Delia asked. "There was a lot of glass and broken cans in there."

"He looks okay." Ash looked over.

"Pika." Pikachu confirmed from his shoulder.

Laoise held the little female Meowth in her arms, gently patting it. "Aw, yeah. You're coming with me , cutie."

Taryn said, "I'm gonna call my folks."

Meowth sits on the roof of a nondescript building, staring at the full moon, still longing for Meowzie and wondering if she's watching the moon too.

While the gang and the others return home as the McGrady sisters return to their home in the Bluebell Hollows with a new pokèmon… and determination as Laoise prepares for the upcoming Pokémon league.

To be continued...

Author's note: And that's a time lapse for our heroes as they prepare for the Pokémon league. Next one I'll summarize some of the episodes then focus on the episode "All Fired Up!". Okay now gang, take a guess on which pokèmon will be running with Laoise carrying the torch?
