"What do you mean we have to go back?" Deku asked, his brows knitting in confusion. "We're not ready yet. You still have so much more to teach us!"
"He's right!" Uraraka chimed in. "The magic was so difficult for me to grasp."
"Magick," Tsukuyomi corrected, his voice low. "It's purification energy. Miko had years to perfect it, and we managed it in seconds only because of her guidance. Miko, we can't go back. You're out of power."
"She's right. You look exhausted," Shoto added, his expression a mix of concern and resolve.
"You really ought to rest; you're pale as a ghost," Dynamight said, crossing his arms but unable to hide the worry in his tone.
"NO!" Miko's voice exploded through the room. Though the heroes stood their ground, bolstered by their newfound power, every piece of furniture in the room was flung against the walls with a resounding crash.
"What's wrong?" Deku asked, taking a cautious step toward Miko. He recognized the haunted look in her eyes, a look filled with desperation. "What has Sadako done?"
"She has my friends!" Miko's voice broke as she buried her face in her hands. "Ensorcelled!"
