Weiss lost track of how long she sat alone in her room, staring at the far wall as if there was a movie playing. The food that she had eaten earlier now sat in her stomach like a rock, one that was set on bringing her down. She was half tempted to let it happen.

"This can't be real," Weiss whispered to herself, her reflection in the polished surface of the room's metallic walls mirrored her every movement, which wasn't much. She pulled her knees close to her chest as she sat on the bed like a savage. "Another world? How was that even possible?"

The room did little to offer her any comfort or give her a response, not that Weiss expected one. She wasn't insane. Yang probably would've said otherwise. Weiss pressed her lips together. She wasn't ever going to see them again was she, Ruby, Yang, and even Blake who had abandoned them.

"I should be in Mistral right now, with Ruby, Yang and the others." Weiss muttered, placing her head on her knees. She felt alone, even more so than usual. At least in Atlas she had Klein for company, and Winter whenever she had time to visit. Her knees felt moist, which made her lift her head to stare at the roof. One of her cold, pale hands drifted towards her wet cheek. "Tears huh?"

She'd been crying and hadn't even realized it yet. Weiss leaned back and stretched her legs, keeping her eyes fixated on the roof of her room. Her lips felt dry. Weiss had lost everything, her world, her team, Myrtenaster, and that fight against Vernal. And that just pissed her off even more. She bawled her hands into fist that shook slightly.

"This world's unforgiving, even brilliant lights will cease to burn." Weiss hummed under her breath in an attempt to calm herself. That had been Ruby's favorite song back home. She always asked Weiss to sing it when nobody else was around.

There was little she could do to fight off the urge to sleep.

This was all just a bad dream.

Right?

"We'll, she's taking it as well as I expected." Ollie's attempt at trying to lighten the mood in the conference room was not welcomed, Dinah noticed. Batman only shot him his signature glare while the other Leaguers present did their best to ignore him. Except for Flash, who seemed to be thinking of his own one liner instead of paying attention to the meeting.

"It's a natural response." Clark responded, his usual easy going demeanor gone for once. He pressed his hands together. "She just found out that she's stranded in a strange world, with no possible way of going back. I'm sure many of us could relate to that, in some way."

Clark would know the best, everyone in the League knew the basics of his story, even if they didn't know all the details. Dinah didn't until a few months ago thanks to Ollie inviting Flash out for drinks. He didn't get Barry drunk or anything, it was just hard for the Flash to keep a big secret.

"We should get started." John spoke up from his seat, his glowing green eyes matching the shade of the Green Lantern ring on his finger. He had taken a protege under his wing, a new human Lantern, Dinah had heard. Heroes still gossiped, just like civilians. Hal wasn't present today.

"Agreed." J'onzz nodded, turning his head towards Batman, who was seated at the end of the table.

Bruce pressed a button, causing a hologram to form in the middle of the table of Weiss' face that rotated.

"Most of you already know who she is, since she nearly died on top of this very table at our last annual meeting. Her name is Weiss Schnee." Batman said, his voice neutral as always. "This meeting would've been scheduled earlier, but I didn't want to waste everyone's time until we gained solid information."

Batman continued speaking. "We have no idea how she ended up on the Watchtower, and neither does she." He typed on his holographic keyboard. "Based on what she has told us during her questioning, she is not from Earth, or any known planets."

John must've been the one to check for any planets in the galaxy named 'Remnant'. Weiss being from another planet was a lot easier to explain than another universe or dimension.

"Black Canary has managed to gain an understanding of our new guest during questioning." Batman's voice sliced through Dinah's thoughts. "The floor is yours."

"Thank you." Dinah formed a small smile. Weiss was a sweet girl who didn't deserve to have this happen to her. "Weiss is from a world known as Remnant, and was training as a huntress until…"

You didn't need to be a hero to show empathy.

Weiss didn't sleep well, tossing and turning until she finally woke up with bloodshot eyes. She didn't like what she saw when she dreamt, Ruby's disappointed face, Yang's angry scowl, and Vernal's evil grin. Her shoulders sagged as she forced herself into a more comfortable position.

"I want to go home." Home as in Remnant, not Atlas. The Schnee Manor may have been her home once, but not anymore, not with Father, Whitley and Mother there.

Father who had disowned her and only viewed Weiss was a tool to be used and thrown away. Whitley, who had supported him in getting Weiss disinherited. And Mother, who stayed in the garden or her room drunk all day, watching what was happening from the sidelines.

Home was where her team was, wherever Ruby was.

Weiss hardened her eyes, digging the tips of her fingers into the skin of her opposite arm. Her aura had started to return, so it didn't hurt. What was she doing? Feeling sorry for herself? Sure she may be stuck in this weird, new world, but she was also a Schnee, and the Schnee's were survivors.

"I really doubt any Schnee's ended up in another world." Weiss muttered under her breath bitterly. She pinched herself, her aura blocking any sensation of pain and shook her head. Weiss was a Schnee, she'd survived countless Grimm, the Fall of Beacon, the White Fang, and now, the Spring Maiden. She may have lost that last one, but at least she was still alive.

Weiss managed to escape Father and Atlas, she could find a way home right? She may have been alone, but that didn't mean she was helpless. Weiss had been one of the top first year students at Beacon, she had survived where more experienced Huntsman, Huntresses and soldiers had died.

She was a huntress, and Weiss was going to survive.

Weiss' musings were suddenly interrupted by someone who knocked at the door.

"Hey Weiss, it's me, Dinah." Dinah's muffled voice sounded more like a mutter through the thick door. "Can I come in?"

Weiss took a deep breath and nodded, even though the blonde couldn't see, unless she was watching through that camera they thought Weiss didn't know about.

"Of course."

A/N

This update came out faster than I expected. I want this Weiss to be different from her other counterparts in Hero or Huntress and Schnee's Bay.

She'll still be sad, just not as depressed and kinda mean to the extent she is with others.
