Before we begin the chapter please read the story lines up so that book 5 of harry potter the order of the phoenix happens exactly 1 before the events of the lightning thief so the lightning thief will happen one year from the current in story time also for the next week or my thanksgiving break I will do a chapter a day ranging from 700 to 1000 words but after that I'm going to do a chapter a week ranging from 1700 to 2000 words now let the story begin

I just stood There in the streets of New York. Worst day ever I muttered. In shock of the day, I've been having I just started walking I didn't even know where I was going. All I knew was that I had to move. HARRY POTTER! I spun around and what I saw made blood run cold a monster. Now i know what you're thinking Harry how is there a monster In the middle of new York and I have no idea in hell. The thing had the body of a man and the head of a bull. I knew is I had to get out of there and I had to get out of there quick. I raised my wand and shouted stupefy and a burst of red light flew from my wand and hit the thing square on its head and the only thing it accomplished was to piss of the monster even more. I ran for dear life because I knew if my wand could not harm it the nothing I could do would.
The thing was right behind me I knew I couldn't outrun it forever but I had always been a fast runner. I just need to find a place to hide. My legs feel like jelly but I knew I just needed to get a little bit farther over here I heard someone shout. I looked over and I saw a boy who could be no older than 12 or 13 sidestepped the monster and ran towards the kid you have to follow me the furious boy said if the only way you're going to live. How do I know I can trust you, what is that thing, who are you. I'm Grover and you have to trust me because it is the only way you can survive but there's too much to explain right now you just have to come with me. Roar! Fine I'll come with you. Good now run! He led me through abandoned alleyways we ran for what felt like hours until we came to the end of a street he quickly called a taxi Roar! Get in quick i flew through the door slammed it shut behind me and we took off
now you explain what the hell is going on I'll explain everything to you once we get to camp where are we going what's camp all i can tell you now is that your different from everyone else you can say that again I muttered to myself what was that he said nothing I snapped at him we rode in silence for what felt like forever eventually i said are you the person my teacher told me to find I didn't know what this boy new so i had to play carefully with my questions I don't know about any teacher he said but my boss said that he was told by his friend in Scotland would find a boy in Manhattan with black hair and green eyes that would be lost and would be eligible to come to camp. What camp are you talking about you'll see he said cryptically after a few more hours the tall buildings of the city faded into the distance as we drove into the countryside the taxi stopped at a countryside road the taxi driver said you sure this is where you want to get out kid yes sir thank you said Grover as he paid the man this way Grover said as we got out he led me up a hill that had a ginormous pine tree at the top Grover said welcome to camp half blood.
