Chapter 28: A Lovely Family Day Out
Blu and Banjo decides to spend time with their wives and children. Today it is a beautiful morning. Our favorite blue macaws are having grapes for breakfast.
"Those grapes are so good." Jewel said.
"Tell me about it." Blu said.
"Guys I suggest we have family time together." Banjo said.
"That's a good idea brother." Blu said.
After the family eat breakfast. Blu and his family spend the day together. They hang out at the waterfall.
"Dad can I do a cannonball?" Tiago asked his father.
"Go ahead son. Don't go deep." Blu said.
"Wow thanks dad you are the best." Tiago said.
"Of course son." Blu said.
"Are you sure about this Blu?" Grace asked him.
"Yes. As long as he don't go deep." Blu said.
Tiago hold his feet and said "cannonball." Tiago landed in the water.
Tiago got out of the water. "Man that was awesome." Tiago said.
"Good for you Tiago." Banjo said.
"Thank you Uncle Banjo." Tiago said.
"You're welcome my nephew." Banjo said.
"Uncle Blu. Me and my friends went to the waterfall before." Max said.
"You guys did." Blu said.
"Yeah." Max said.
"I wouldn't do it if I was you." Jewel said.
"It was fun." Max said.
"For you brother." Crystal said.
"Our brother is the fun guy." Belle said.
Blu and his family are exploring the Amazon Rainforest until they see a friendly female snake.
"Hello it's nice to meet you all." The snake greeted the blue macaws.
Blu is afraid of the snake.
"Don't be afraid of me sir. My name is Penny and I am a snake." She introduced herself to the blue macaws.
"Well it's nice to meet you Penny. I am Blu. This is my wife Jewel and our children Bia, Carla, and Tiago. This is my brother Banjo, my sister-in-law Grace, and my nieces Belle and Crystal and my nephews Junior and Max." Blu introduced Penny to the family.
"Nice family you have." Penny said.
"Thank you so much." Banjo said.
"You're welcome." Penny said.
"I am a nice snake around. I don't harm anyone." Penny said.
"You are. I heard snakes are one of the predators of macaws." Bia said.
"Snakes are. My parents want me to do that when I was a little girl but I want to be friends with them instead of eating them but they kicked me out for not eating a macaw." Penny said.
Blu and his family feels bad for her.
"I'm so sorry to hear that." Jewel said.
"Yeah but do you guys want to see the grove where me and my snake friends live?" Penny asked her new friends.
"Of course." Grace said.
"We are cool with that." Tiago said.
"I think that's a yes. Follow me." Penny said as she lead her new friends Blu and his family to the grove. They made it to the snake grove.
"Welcome to snake grove." Penny said. Blu and his family are amazed.
"Woah." Carla said.
"This home is really nice." Bia said.
"It's so beautiful." Jewel said.
"Snakes. I want you to meet my new friends the blue macaws named Blu, Jewel, Bia, Carla, Tiago, Banjo, Grace, Belle, Crystal, Junior, and Max." Penny said to the snakes.
"Hello Blu, Jewel, Bia, Carla, Tiago, Banjo, Grace, Belle, Crystal, Junior, and Max." The snakes said.
"Nice to meet you all." Blu said.
Penny gives Blu and his family a tour of the grove. She shows them the flowers they created in the village.
"Wow this village is beautiful." Blu said.
"Thank you." Penny said.
"You're welcome." Blu said.
Blu and his family spend the day with Penny and her snake friends. Penny is happy to have new friends.
"Penny we have to go back to our tribe." Grace said.
"I understand. It was nice hanging out with you guys." Penny said.
Blu and his family fly to the blue macaw tribe. They arrived at Roberto's hollow.
"That was a good day. Right guys?" Blu asked everyone.
"Yes it was Blu. It was my first time being friends with a snake but she is very nice not dangerous." Jewel said.
"Let's have dinner." Banjo said.
Blu went outside to get dinner. He brought them Brazil nuts. Blu and his family have dinner.
