"Morning, Bertram, Happy Birthday!" His co-worker Jessie states happily kissing his left cheek, he hides a smile under a groan of annoyance.
"Yeah, I'll be happy when all the kids go off to college. Or in Luka and Emma's cases a correction facility and marries a prince." The lazy butler sighs, setting the table.
Jessie rolls her hazel eyes, "Rrriiggghhttt. . . Regardless, Tony and me are taking the kids for day in the park and possibly if Emma has her way to more time in the mall." The redhead actually shivers at the blonde bullet's implies when shopping, beating her own.
Bertram turns swiftly to Jessie. "Wait so no kids around for birthday? No pranks, no messes-"
"Nope, and before you ask, no I didn't invite your mother here." Jessie finishes as the hefty butler actually hugs her tightly.
"Whoa, okay. You're welcome. Geez, if I knew I'd get a hug. I'd sweeten the deal with bacon wrapped donuts." The redhead smiles. Tho at the mention of his favorite donuts, Jessie nods.
"Sure I'll bring you back a dozen, bacon wrapped donuts." Shocking Jessie more then the hug, (if possible) a quick kiss to her left temple freezes her.
"Awww, Bertram you old softie." He glares at her teasing.
"JESSIE!" Both Luke and Zuri has screamed from exiting the loft elevator.
"My nanny senses are tingling." Jessie's hazel eyes shift left to right.
"Good morning guys, where's Emma and Ravi?"
"She still can't decide what to wear. Ravi I'm not sure." Zuri states from glaring at Luke to Bertram.
"Happy birthday, I love you." The little adopted African girl states hugging him. Bertram attempts to fake a grumpy glare but it crumbles quickly. "Thank you Zuri, you know you're my least hated kid."
"Hey, well that's fair." Luke states nonchalantly, still he too fist bumps the butler. "Happy birthday."
THE END!
Author's Note: 3 years since I touched this fandom. Well I'm back and hopefully better for this franchise.
