The last thing I remember was fighting Death Eaters in Hogwarts with Percy and George when there was an explosion.

When I came to, I was in a white room surrounded by three people. Two I knew, and one looked a lot like Harry, except he looked just a little older, and his eyes were different.

"Sirius. Professor Lupin. Where am I? And who is this?"

"Hello, Fred. I'm James, Harry's dad."

"Oh. Ok. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Professor Lupin spoke next.

"We wanted to welcome you into the afterlife. You passed away in the explosion."

"Is everyone else ok? What about George? And why you three?"

"Everybody is going to be fine. A lot of lives were lost in the final Battle, but you are at peace now. It's something you come to realize the longer you're here. George will live a full life and he will name is first born son after you when that time comes on Earth. And as for why us, we wanted to introduce ourselves."

"Introduce yourselves? But I've already met you. Except for you, Mr Potter."

"Fred, please, call me James. Or, you can also call me by another name you know well, Prongs."

"Prongs? As in messers…"

I was cut off by Professor Lupin, "Mooney. And Sirius is,"

"I'm Padfoot!"

"Wow. This is amazing! You were George and my idols! But what about,"

I was cut off again by James.

"Wormtail was our friend as well, but he betrayed us. His real name was Peter Pettigrew. He sold me, Lily, and Harry out to Voldemort."

"That's another part of the reason we wanted to speak with you, Fred. We've watched over you since you and George found the Map. We want you to join us. Become our fourth Marauder."

Well, what else could I do but accept.

My life on Earth had ended, but a new adventure awaited me ahead.

And, when the time comes, I've been told I get to welcome George into the mix to become the fifth member of our crew.

Afterlife is good.

A/N: It's been a long time since I've written a fanfic, and this was written about 5 years ago and I just randomly found it. I've done some editing on the original draft and thought I'd share it here.
Let me know what you think!
