ThunderCat Power

While most of the heroes were going back to Cats' Lair, some of them hurried back to the Egyptian kingdom to inform Atem and Mystery that the mission was a success and the Thunderians had been rescued. The pharaoh and queen decided to meet their friends at Cats' Lair. Now that they were all assembled, it was time to get their new friends settled in. "Lynx-O, Bengali, Pumyra, make yourselves at home," Lion-O told them.

"Cats' Lair," Pumyra gasped.

"Just as it was on Thundera," said Bengali.

"That's what we said when we first came here," said Mahad.

"The Children of Millennia," said Pumyra.

"They're sure not children anymore," said Bengali. "I remember when I first met you all back on Thundera. You were all just kids."

Joseph nods and says, "And now, here we are ten years later."

"We owe you all our thanks," said Pumyra.

"Especially you," Bengali said to Lion-O, "and you haven't even told us your name."

"You are talking to Lion-O, the Lord of the ThunderCats," said Lynx-O.

"How do you know that, Lynx-O?" Mana asked.

"I could hear Lion-O's father's voice in his own voice," he answered. This meant that he was once a friend to Lord Claudus. "If you would like, Lion-O, I could tell you what I knew. I look forward to visiting here."

"Visit?" Lion-O asked. "No, you'll be staying here."

"But on Thundera, the Lair was only for ThunderCats," Bengali argued.

"Well, you've handled yourselves like ThunderCats," Lion-O was saying. "And besides, Cats' Lair is also the Children of Millennia's second home. You can live here just as they do."

So it was decided that Bengali, Pumyra, and Lynx-O would be anointed as fellow ThunderCats. All of the heroes agreed. Bengali, Pumyra, and Lynx-O were given new clothes and the ThunderCat insignia was marked on their outfits. The three of them were honored to be anointed as ThunderCats and just as honored that they would be working together with the Children of Millennia as well.

Bengali counted them up and saw that there were six Children of Millennia present. "Wait, I thought there were eight of you."

That was when Atem and Mystery arrived. "Sorry we're late," the queen apologized. "We actually got here earlier and I'm afraid I fell asleep while waiting."

Lion-O chuckled. "That's okay, Mystery. With things being the way they are for you, it's understandable."

The queen chuckled, then looked at the new ThunderCats. "I remember all of you. We met before we were forced to leave Thundera."

"Bengali, Pumyra, and Lynx-O," said Atem. "It's so wonderful to see all of you again."

"And we remember you," Pumyra returned. "Prince Atem of the Egyptian kingdom and Mystery, the heiress of the Great Goddess Millennia."

"Atem and Mystery are happily married and pharaoh and queen," Lion-O clarified. "But that's not the only big surprise."

In response, the queen removes her robe, showing off her protruding belly. Bengali and Pumyra softly gasped. "You're having a baby?" the puma woman happily asked.

The queen nodded. "I'm six months along now. And as you can see, this is the reason why I was not able to help Lion-O and the others rescue you. But when I heard that the mission to rescue you was a success, I wanted to come here and meet all of you."

"We're all very excited about it," said Atem. "And now that you're fellow friends and allies, you can be a part of it too."

Pumyra clasped her hands together. "That's wonderful."

Mana got an idea. "Hey, now that Bengali, Lynx-O, and Pumyra are one of us, we've got to show them our world and take them to see the Egyptian kingdom."

"But first we have to show them the Pure Valley," Mahad reminded her. "You will love it there."

"But for now, why don't we continue the celebration of your anointment," Kisara suggested. "We can show you around tomorrow."

The three new ThunderCats liked the sound of that. It really would be a golden opportunity for them to learn more about the Children of Millennia. They were truly happy to be accepted as part of the team.

Jirachi interrupted them and sang, Hey, you know what? This is fun! And they all laughed and continued tapping to the beat.

The ThunderKittens didn't mind and they continued, inviting Mana to join them. We can do it, yes, we can
