Chapter 1: Express Adversary

September 9th - 9:30am - Endsville Station

"Stupid Grim." Mandy mumbled as she stood on the train platform, with Billy and the other Endsville kids, now high school students.

Mandy now wore a purplish-pink vest and skirt combo separated by a black belt, this vest still had the same flower design like her old pink dress, she wore a golden bead necklace, and she had a pair of big black boots. She still had her horn-shaped hair style, but now it was longer down the back, looking somewhat more feminine than she used to.

Billy still had the same hat when he was a little kid, but his orange hair grew out, and he had a golden earing on his left ear. He wore a blue hoodie with a dark blue hood and stripe across the abdomen area, he wore dark blue denim jeans and larger shoes of a similar design to when he was a kid.

Despite being fifteen years old each, their overall personalities haven't changed much, though Billy has gotten a bit smarter, from single digit to double digit IQ, he's still the helpless idiot Mandy knew him as, but he does have his moments, especially since he's gotten a lot braver in conflict. Mandy herself has chilled somewhat and sometimes has even humoured Billy's antics from time to time, but only when she's in the mood.

As Mandy turned to Billy who played on his phone, while his backpack dangled in his free hand, she turned to the large suitcase in her left hand, in it was Grim's own scythe.

Two days ago, Grim was requested to return to the Underworld to revise all of history as per agreement of the Grim Reaping career, this only occurred every two-hundred-years, so Grim seemed alright with the revision, Mandy on the other hand was now forced to do her own work instead, which of course infuriated her. What was more aggravating was the fact that although Grim left his scythe with her to keep watch, a special password lock was put onto it so she couldn't use it's magic to help with her work, nor could she figure out the password, and she's been at it for at least twelve hours.

While it did seem strange for Grim to leave his scythe behind, the Underworld has had a lot of security breaches recently, so Mandy signed a contract to keep the scythe safe since it felt ironically safer to be with the two kids who abused Grim's power the most compared to whatever was invading the Underworld frequently.

Mandy sighed as she turned forward to see their train arriving and the two made their way inside, naturally being pushed and cramped by the other students and teachers trying to squeeze in too. This was part of a high school fieldtrip to some uninteresting museum about bacon, this wasn't why Mandy was annoyed though, she was annoyed because of what's going on with Grim right now. So not only was she going to a boring museum, but the fact that she couldn't use Grim's scythe to make it more interesting only made it worse.

She entered the baggage cart and placed the suitcase containing Grim's scythe in the far end, this suitcase had seven padlocks on it with three-digit combinations, and a small speaker on the edge of it, that's set to blare an alarm should the suitcase be opened forcefully without the padlocks being solved.

She let out a sigh as she walked away, but notice out of the corner of her eye, a large six foot tall and wide mirror clamped onto the ground and ceiling, she guessed it was meant to be delivered somewhere, but she hardly cared, she did look into it however and noticed a bit of her hair was messed up, so she immediately fixed it, while she wasn't into girly stuff much, she did like to keep her hair neat. A faint smirk later and she made her way out of the carriage and to her seat.

September 9th - 10:51am - Endsville Outskirts

Mandy leaned on the table watching the scenery go by on the train. She soon looked ahead of her to see Billy looking out the window excitedly while Irwin was on his laptop, while occasionally looking over to her with a flirty look, which she of course responded in disgust.

"Alright class. We've got about two hours before we reach our destination." said their class teacher as he walked along the carriage. "The lunch cart should be arriving in a few minutes so make sure you grab something to keep you going."

Mandy let out a sigh and reached for her backpack from under the table, she pulled it out and opened it up to grab her lunchbox. She took a sandwich out of there and began to eat it. "As if that crap in the lunch carts can even be qualified as food." she muttered under her breath.

She was suddenly taken aback by a sudden flash of light coming from the window. Everyone looked out their respective windows to see that rain began to fall at a rapid pace, the wind increased in speed and ferocity, and every minute or so, lightning struck from a distance with the powerful sound of thunder.

This was too peculiar as weather reports claimed there was no chance of rain at all today, in addition, the sky was completely clear, for this to suddenly appear with no warning, it felt unnatural, however, she shrugged it off and dug into her bag again and took out her laptop to surf the web herself.

"Just another weird day in Endsville." She muttered as she began to search for something interesting.

There were quite a few pieces of news she scrolled through, but nothing got her interest. These ranged from riots in France, childish arguments from politicians in America, mysterious fruit being discovered a month ago, internet celebrities being exposed as predators. Boring stuff. But she notices an article on the headline news saying…

"Immortal Man Dies."

"What?" she muttered. She clicked the article and began to read it.

"September 8th at 2:26pm, the Miracle Man himself, Simon Mervaradi, age 77, has been reported dead. The incident took place in the town centre of Darc City during Astro-Lab's manager, Mandark Astronomonov presentation of his latest invention, which was supposedly a Time Machine, being the man who survived being shot, stabbed, poisoned and even several illnesses, Simon Mervaradi gladly accepted to be the first man to test it, claiming he loved to test his fate to the extreme. Confident he was, he entered the machine and Mr Astronomonov started the machine, but the crowd went into a panic when a gunshot was fired from a distance, striking the machine and had caused it to explode in a collateral manner within seconds, fortunately there were no other deaths, after an examination of the crime scene, the police had discovered traces of Simon's hair, teeth and even bits of his clothing, a small trace of blood was found and confirmed to be his. No other evidence was found, and the police immediately presumed that the body was vaporised in the blast. Both Mandark Astronomonov of Astro-Labs and Dexter of Dex-Labs have claimed that they will aid the search for the perpetrator who caused the incident."

Mandy was left to ponder. 'So, this Simon guy... guess he wasn't immortal, just super lucky... or maybe he had the best medicine money could buy, either way I bet Grim's glad he's dead.'

She scrolled down to the photos that were taken during the incident, there she saw a photo of Simon himself, a mid-thirties man with short black hair, black sideburns, and thick black eyebrows, he was quite slim, wore a full black suit with a black tie and had four jewelled earrings on each ear.

Mandy took notice of something, she examined the photo of him again, scrolled back up to the article and took notice of the part that says "Age 77" she scrolled back down and looked at the photo of him, this was recent, and it said this man was him.

"He's 77 years old? No way." She muttered. "I don't care how good medicine can be, there is no humanly way possible he could look so young and be so old. No wonder they call him the Miracle Man... Mind you… there was that Mighty Moe guy, but he looked old, this Simon guy doesn't… tch, whatever."

"Excuse me… excuse me… sorry…"

Mandy took notice and looked ahead to see a young boy roughly around her age but slightly younger, he had scruffy dark brown hair under a large brown stitched up cloth-hat, an orange t-shirt, dark blue shorts, and large brown boots, he also wore what looked to be large brown gloves that blacksmiths would wear. This boy had a scruffy look to him as he was gently pushing past the crown of people to move onto another carriage most likely.

Just as the boy was about to pass Mandy's chair, he tripped in an almost comical fashion landing on the ground, and like clockwork, it was met with the response of their fellow high school students laughing, the boy got up and patted the dust off his shirt and fixed his hat and looked back realising he had tripped over Mandy's bag and sent it away from her seat.

Mandy just watched as she tried to reach for her bag, only for the boy to pick it up and hand it to her. "Sorry about that." The boy spoke in a faint accent, it almost sounded Italian.

Mandy gently took it and looked over to the boy. "Haven't seen you before? You a student?"

"Huh? O-Oh, no, I'm just a tourist."

"Figured."

Billy looked over to the boy and waved, with the boy shyly waving back. "Hi, name's Billy, this is my friend Mandy. And my other friend, Irwin."

Irwin gave a wave. "Sup."

"Um, hi. I'm Arturo. I-I'm sorry, I should be going." He then proceeded to move along the crowd again, apologising to anyone he passed.

Mandy turned behind her to see the boy leaving the carriage, he missed the handle to the door twice, almost looking too nervous to comprehend much, or he was at least distracted by something. She shrugged and just looked forward again.

Ten minutes had passed, and the storm continued, she hardly cared for bad weather, but even she couldn't deny that the faint rocking sensation, the sound of rain hitting the windows and the occasional thunderous sound was actually kind of relaxing to her. She jumped a bit at the sound of her phone ringing in her bag, snapping out of her relaxed trance, she reached for it and saw that the caller was Grim, she let out a sigh and answered it. "Talk to me, Bone-Head."

"Hey, Mandy." said Grim. "Just came to check if me scythe is still in one piece."

"Yeah, it is. When are you gonna finish your stupid revisions?"

"I dunno, about two or three months or so." chuckled Grim. "Every two hundred years it gets longer I swear. Ah well, it's fine, I do enjoy going through all dese events once again, it's like going through me childhood."

"Grim, I don't care about your stupid revision or your childhood, just get it done quickly so I can get back to ordering you around."

"Running all de way." he said sarcastically. "Hm? Where are you right now? I hear all sorts of ruckus."

"I'm on a train, it's a stupid school trip."

"So... where's me scythe!?" Asked Grim starting to feel a bit worried.

"In the baggage cart with the rest of the bags."

"And you're just gonna leave it dere, are you insane, child!?" Grim shouted making Mandy move the phone away from her slightly. "Don't you know that you've just left it in a place where it can be taken easily!?"

"Grim, calm down. You locked it, remember? It's no good to anyone."

"It's blade is still very sharp; it can cut through anything. So even if it's magic is locked, it can still be used as a deadly weapon."

"Well thanks for the reminder." said Mandy sarcastically. "But I've got it locked in a suitcase that has seven locks on it, each with a hundred different combinations, and I've set an alarm system on it too just so no one tries to open it another way. You'd have to be stupid lucky to figure all of them out before anyone arrives."

"I see... well dat's all fine and dandy then, but could you at least check on it? Keep in mind dat you agreed to keep it safe."

Mandy let out a sigh feeling annoyed. "Fine, whatever. I'll call you back." With that she hung up, got off her chair and made her way down towards the baggage cart.

The next carriage was the food carriage, where they have a small food stall, she noticed the small shortcakes there and began to debate to herself as to whether or not to get one, while she said the food on a train isn't good, these shortcakes actually looked really nice, she decided to get one anyway, she knew she had plenty of time, she knew without a doubt that no one would manage to steal the scythe. Once she bought a shortcake, she made her way further towards the baggage cart, eating the thing and regretted claiming the food on the train was bad. Or at least treated this as the exception to the rule.

After going through two more carriages, she made her way to the entrance of the baggage cart. She noticed that there was no one guarding the door, this confused her at first, but she just assumed they were on a lunch break or something.

She opened the door by herself and stepped inside, as to be expected, it was a carriage as big as the others, but it only held larger bags that couldn't fit with the passengers, up ahead against the wall, on top of a small table, was her own suitcase that housed Grim's scythe, she could see that it was still closed, but she walked towards it anyway just to make sure.

As she was halfway, she heard a faint crunching sound on the bottom of her feet, she stopped and looked down, to see there were strange crystals on the ground, she turned to her right to where that large mirror was and discovered something unexpected.

The entirety of the mirror was gone, leaving only the frame, looking like someone just popped the thing off the frame and walked away with it, but she looked back down at her feet, the tiny crystals she stepped on, she realised they're the remains of the mirror, smashed into so many tiny pieces it was impossible to tell it was a mirror without the frame next to it as a hint, it looked almost like clumps of sand.

"How did it… who'd break a mirror that much until it's dust?" She thought about it for a moment, but shrugged it off, she didn't care honestly.

As she was right in front of the suitcase, she gently placed her hands against the combinations to unlock it herself, but something suddenly disturbed her, it looked like the first lock was already solved, she looked at the second one, that was solved too, in fact, all seven locks have been finished so it should be open, she lifted the lid slightly and was shocked to see that it was already unlocked, but the scythe was still there.

"Who the hell?" she muttered. "Who managed to get through all seven locks in no time at all?"

Soon, Mandy heard silent crunching sound, similar to her stepping on the mirror shards, she looked back at the door and to her surprise, she saw a figure, slightly smaller than her, slowly sneaking towards the door.

"FREEZE!" Mandy shouted.

The figure panicked and froze in an almost comedic fashion, before turning around to face her, although it was dark, Mandy recognised him, it was the boy she just met, Arturo.

"Uh… h-hi?" Arturo said looking terrified.

"You did this, didn't you!?" Mandy glared. "How'd you'd get my suitcase open!?"

"Uh… m-magic?" he said with a nervous smile.

"Cut the crap and get over here!"

"Y-Yes ma'am." He skittishly walked over to her with his hands in the open while keeping that nervous smile, though his sweating and shaking knees was a good indication he was terrified.

Mandy hardly cared as she grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him closer. "Let's get something straight here, I don't know how you opened my suitcase, or why you were trying to steal MY property! But if I catch you doing that again! I'll tear out your intestines and strangle you with them!"

"Y-YES MA'AM! SORRY! SORRY! SORRY!"

"Oh… poor sweet little Arturo… is the little meanie picking on you?"

Mandy looked around surprised, that voice wasn't familiar to her, and she couldn't see who that voice belonged to.

Without any chance of asking where the voice came from. Mandy found herself forcefully releasing Arturo as both her arms were suddenly forced to her sides, feeling something strong bind her as she was lifted into the air effortlessly. As she was left dangling, she could finally process that something has tied her up with long strands of thin wires and lifted her up.

She looked behind her to see that there was someone else in the carriage with them. It was a girl who looked a year or two older than Mandy, was a head and a half taller than her with a curved body, she had thick black markings over her red eyes, pale skin, long pointed ears, and wore a purple dress with black markings, long open sleeves, it was open at the top revealing her shoulders and the tip of her chest, she also had a black collar around her neck with a red jewel in the middle, the skirt part of her dress was short, revealing her black leggings and black boots.

But her most outstanding feature was her long flowing blood red coloured hair that reaches down to her knees, but it came to Mandy's realisation that she wasn't tied up by wires, but a portion of this girl's hair that lifted her, like it was acting like a third arm, or a collection of snakes working together.

Arturo calmed down as he fell onto his backside, looking up at Mandy while keeping a nervous look. "S-Sorry Mandy, it was her orders."

Mandy hardly paid attention to him as she stared daggers at the girl, who simple looked back with an confident yet seductive smile, the kind that tells you she's in charge and loves it.

"What the hell!? Let me go!" Mandy shouted.

The girl let out a faint chuckle. "My, this little kitten has some fire in her belly."

Mandy felt herself lifted further, before being suddenly thrown over Arturo and hitting the ground hard, she landed on the glass shards, but they were so dulled out and small, they made no scratches. She grunted as she pushed herself up, looking back at Arturo and the girl, who opened Mandy's suitcase, she dug into it and gently took out the scythe, she gazed onto the blade with an almost mesmerised look to her she gently spun to one side gazing at it more, and spun again while gently brushing the tip of her finger on the sharp end of the blade, almost looking like she was dancing with the scythe.

Mandy growled furiously as she forced herself up. "GIVE THAT BACK!" Mandy rushed in preparing to throw a punch towards the girl. Despite being taller, Mandy could easily reach her face with her fist.

With as much force as she could, she threw her punch directly into the girl's left cheek, putting everything she had into it, but became shocked, almost to the point of horrified, when the girl didn't even budge from her punch, she didn't even blink, instead, she just looked down at her with a confident smirk, even while Mandy's fist kept in place.

"Not bad, kitten." Said the girl, but before Mandy could respond, the girl's hair lifted again and swung at her, quickly tying her up again aggressively and lifting her up. This time, Mandy could feel the hair tied around her constricting her, making it somewhat difficult to breathe.

The girl then handed Arturo the scythe, before Mandy could protest again, she was hoisted up higher, then suddenly swung down and crashed into the ground with an unrelenting force, although this looked to have been done with little effort, Mandy felt a massive shock to her body upon the heavy impact.

She was lifted up again with ease and was forced to look directly at the girl, but Mandy's vision was very blurry and was seeing double, in addition, her body was stinging all over from both the impact and the crushing feeling of her hair binding her. Mandy let out a cough, feeling the taste of blood in her mouth, she even felt a trickle of it seem from her mouth.

The girl's eyes widened with glee, Mandy was pulled closer, and the girl gently rubbed her fingertip over the blood coming from Mandy's mouth and proceeded to lick the blood off her finger. Mandy's vision was coming back to her and had a look of disgust seeing the girl do something like that, but the second she thought about it, something inside her head clicked and she realised what this girl was.

The girl smiled with her teeth showing, and her suspicions were confirmed, this girl had a set of large fangs, but what was more disturbing, was the second set of smaller fangs. This girl was a Vampire, but nothing like she's seen before.

Mandy let out a quick shriek as she felt herself being moved closer and turned to the side as the girl opened her mouth wide and what felt like several knives being stabbed down into her neck, ripping the necklace off her neck, her scream was immediately cut as she lost her ability to speak, move, and she could barely think as this horrible pain coursed itself throughout her entire body, like a flame on a matchstick, burning down to the bottom as a rapid pace. All with the horrifying feeling of her own blood being forcefully drained out of her body from her neck.

In what felt like hours which was only a few seconds, Mandy was dropped to the floor, her entire body felt completely numb, there was a constant ringing in her ear as she continued to feel the flames burning up her insides, she couldn't speak, she could barely think, see, or hear.

It took all of her effort to look up towards the girl and Arturo, a conversation could be heard between the two, but she couldn't make it out, the ringing in her ears made it impossible to hear. Her vision was starting to blur even more, consciousness fading fast, she could see the two turning around, her vision faded more but it briefly came back, only to see the girl was gone leaving Arturo, who walked away, and before she could say anything, she blacked out completely.

The only thing she was grateful for was that the pain had stopped, but she didn't know if she was going to wake up.

September 9th - 1:55pm - ?

"Mandy?"

Billy and Irwin looked down at Mandy, Billy gave her another nudge as he called her name. Mandy felt her senses slowly returning. But in a shock, she sat up quickly throwing a punch to the nearest thing. "G-GET AWAY!" she screamed as she threw more punches in the air before finally getting her thoughts back, she gasped for breath trying to calm down, sweat trickled across her face as she looked around, only to find out she was in a desert-like place, outside the train, and that the heavy storm that appeared over the train had stopped altogether, it was clear skies once again.

She looked ahead to see both Billy and Irwin staring at her. "Are you ok?" asked Billy with a concerned look to him.

"OH MANDY!" cried Irwin who immediately moved closer and hugged Mandy, but it felt painful to her. "I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE ALRIGHT!"

"PERSONAL SPACE YOU IDIOT!" Mandy yelled as she threw her foot into his face kicking him off of her. She looked around more and realised properly that she wasn't on the train anymore. She looked back to Billy and Irwin.

"Here." Said Billy, as he dug into his pocket and took out the broken necklace she had worn, but it was shoddily fixed.

Mandy took it and looked down at it, seeing traces of her blood on it, she growled angrily, feeling furious over her necklace getting broken, it was her favourite accessory, she merely huffed as she placed it back on, but could feel the parts that were broken against her very sore neck, but soon she noticed where she was. "What happened? Where's the train."

"Um." Billy pointed behind her, "Over there, over there and right there."

Mandy looked behind her and was shocked to see what had happened. "The hell?"

The train itself was on its side and was burning in several areas, it was also ripped in several areas and was in three pieces, several people were injured and were either on fold up benches, on stretchers or sitting in the ambulances or police cars. Including the high school kids and teachers. Mandy stood up and turned to face this carnage properly. This was something she had never expected to happen at all.

At that point, a small blue car arrived on the scene, everyone looked over to the car as two detective looking men stepped out. They faced one of the policemen on scene and one of them revealed his badge. "We were requested to take this case. Could you give us the full details of the incident?"

"Of course." said the policeman. "It happened three hours ago, we discovered traces of a bomb under the tracks which destroyed the front of the train, at that point, two more smaller explosions occurred on the side, wasn't fatal but enough to topple the train over."

"We did an analysis on the side explosives." said another policeman. "We found traces of what would appear to be a missile, the theory is that they were caused by a long-ranged attack from a bazooka or some kind of launcher."

"So, this is the work of some terrorists with access to dangerous weaponry?" asked one of the detectives.

"That is what we're able to gather so far."

"How many fatalities?"

"Many, including the driver, due to the explosions, but three in particular..."

"What about the other three?" asked the second detective.

"Signs indicated that the remaining three were all stabbed."

"Stabbed? From the shards of the train?"

"No sir. They were all stabbed by some kind of weapon."

Another policeman showed up on the scene holding some papers. "According to the research, all three of them were stabbed in the two same areas, in an artery just under the heart, and in the front of the neck, piercing the Adams Apples."

"So, we're dealing with a group of men who destroyed a train housing so many people, and then murdered three civilians with the same weapon in the same areas? What do these three have in common? And what the heck were they even thinking?"

"So far there's none we can connect. We'll be doing further research on their history once we can. And we have no friggin clue on the motives."

"So, what was the murder weapon if it wasn't parts of the train?"

"We never found the weapon. It's likely the perpetrators took it with them. But from what we were able to gather, it must have been a blade that was at least sixty centimetres long and thirty centimetres tall, it had to have been made from a very strong metal as it broke through the bones of the victim's very easily."

"So, we're looking for what would be an exceptionally large blade. No way it can be something like a knife or a dagger. Something that long would have to be something belonging to a sickle or something." The detectives looked around and then looked back at the policemen. "I'm going to start my investigations now, make sure that all survivors are counted and taken back to their homes." Said one of them.

Mandy listened in on the entire thing, she crossed her arms thinking about what happened. 'A sickle... or... A SCYTHE!? Did that Vampire who...' She suddenly remembered something, as she did, she felt a burning sensation on her neck, she placed her hand against it, pushing the necklace down slightly and felt four indentations on the right side, where that Vampire bit her, she shuddered, realising everything that happened was real.

"Hey Irwin." Called one of the teachers holding a cell phone. "Your mothers on the phone."

Irwin immediately ran to the teacher leaving Billy and Mandy alone. Mandy sat down on the ground and let out a sigh, feeling the side of her neck again.

Billy ended up sitting down next to her and looked over at her neck. "So, what the heck did that!?"

Mandy darted her head towards Billy with a look of anger. "It… it was some kind of vampire."

"Vampire?" asked Billy.

Mandy soon realised what she said, and then she suddenly remembered everything. She let out an aggravated sigh before turning to Billy. "That Arty kid or whatever he was called, turns out he was an underling to a Vampire. They stole Grim's scythe.

Before Billy could respond, a door suddenly appeared in a flash of green fire in front of them, it slowly opened to reveal a tall green skinned man wearing a judge's outfit. He was quickly recognised as Judge Roy Spleen.

"Judge Roy Spleen? What are you doing here?" asked Mandy.

"It has come to my attention that Grim's scythe had been stolen." Roy Spleen replied. "Are you aware of this?"

"I am... I went to check on it, and I was ambushed."

"Do you know who?"

"This long-haired Vampire girl… she could use her hair like arms... I hate to admit it... but... I was overpowered easily."

"Wow! Someone who's better than you?" asked Billy.

"She's NOT better than me!"

Roy Spleen interjected. "But how did a Vampire steal the scythe in broad daylight? She would've fried."

Mandy pondered for a moment, then realised how she did. "That storm earlier, it blocked out the sun... Now that I think about it, that storm was too much of a coincidence."

Roy Spleen responded, "Well whatever the case, you need to retrieve that scythe at all costs."

Mandy looked fierce. "I'll get it back, right after I jam my fist through her heart!"

"However, you get it, you must get it before Grim returns, in three months' time."

"Why not bring him here now? It's his toy."

Roy Spleen made a piece of paper appear out of green fire. "But if you recall correctly, you signed a contract to allow the scythe to be in your possession."

'Because I thought I could still use its power. Stupid lock.'

"The contract states that if you should lose possession of the scythe. You will lose the right to ownership of the Grim Reaper."

"What!?" Mandy snatched the paper and read it; she was surprised to see that it actually said that. "I... damn it! That's what I get for not reading the fine print."

Roy gently takes the contract back. "I had a chat with the higher ups about this, they wanted the contract to revoke it immediately, but I told them you were responsible for stopping Boogey from getting Horror's Hand years ago, so that won you some time."

Mandy felt pressured now, but she remained calm. "Fine, so any idea where the scythe is?"

"We know it's with the Vampire who stole it, while we do not know of her exact whereabouts, we know that the nearest settlement to your location is none other than Tech Square, the City of Science and Technology. Also, the settlement of two brilliant scientists, Dexter and Mandark."

"And you're certain that's where he went?"

"Like I said, we don't know of her exact location, but if she is travelling by foot, then he has to go there."

"Well... we have no other leads." She turned to Billy. "Let's go."

"Yeah! We're going on an adventure!"

Roy Spleen smiled. "Well, I wish you kids good luck, if this Vampire manages to unlock the scythe, who knows what will happen." With that he went back through the door he created, closed the door and it disappeared into a green flame.

Mandy looked around and took notice of a nearby petrol station with a large truck stopping for fuel. The two nods at each other and then make their way towards that truck.

"Alright class." said the teacher. "It looks like everyone is here, what's good is that none of you are harmed... Now I-" he suddenly noticed something. "Wait? Where are Billy and Mandy?"

Everyone looked around trying to find them, unbeknownst to any of them that the two were inside the truck that was driving away from them and was on its way to Tech Square.

Inside the back of the truck, we find Billy and Mandy inside it waiting for the next stop, hopefully it will be in Tech Square. Billy walked around looking at the truck's supplies of various cargo, probably looking for something to play with, Mandy on the other hand sat on top of a box and waited patiently, but she soon began to think of the events. Who were those two? And were they responsible for the deaths and the destruction of the train? And why did the Vampire want the scythe? As she delved deeper into her thoughts, her neck started to burn again, she rubbed it again before calling to Billy.

"Hey, find a bottle of water for me, will you?"

To be continued.

So, this is an experimental fanfiction of sorts, I don't know if I'll fully go through with it, but I at least wanted to start the first chapter to see how it goes.

So, the experiment is that it's one long massive story, but it's told from the five different perspectives. If you're following me specifically, then you'll have already received a notification for five different stories. I think it'll be pretty fun, though it's obviously hard work.

I do want you to keep in mind that this may get changed or removed when I've decided what I wanna do with it. Some things might get changed, or I may not go through with the project.

Now the biggest reason why I made Billy slightly smarter in this story, is because I wanted to show a form of development on the kids as they reached teen hood, and while it's not impossible for me to use absolutely stupid characters in stories, I do have a harder time working with characters like Billy without at least upping their IQ a little.

Either way, I wanna know what you think of this and if there's any feedback you wanna offer, please do.
