I'm sure it was midnight when I started having a

strange dream.

A dream that a man I didn't

know came into my room, laid something down

on my dresser, turned to me and said: "Get

some more rest, we still have another six hours

until the ceremony." before leaving.

The

strangest part was that I already knew what he

was talking about.

My alarm said 6:00 A. M.

when I had a sequel to that first dream, only I

know for sure I was awake.

I was suddenly out

of bed, wearing what the man had left on my

dresser, which turned out to be an all black

wedding gown, and heading out of my room to

meet that same man.

When I first opened my

bedroom door, I instantly saw that I actually

wasn't at home anymore.

Instead, the house's

hallway had turned into the long aisle of a

cathedral.

The man offered me his arm, and I

took it, knowing he was going to walk me down

this aisle because he knew I'm an orphan.

He

was going to walk me all the way down this

aisle, to the eight other men at the other end.

The one standing in the middle was dressed

like the pope, while the last seven men all stood

to the left wearing tuxedos, and one of them

was standing a bit off from the rest.

He was the

youngest and the most handsome.

He was the

only one out of all of them wearing an all red

tuxedo.

He was staring right at me with an evil

smirk while someone handed me a bouquet.

Eerie wedding music started playing out of

nowhere.

As we began to walk, I knew that I

was happy.

My alarm said 6:30 A. M. when I

was back in my room, alone with the young,

handsome, red-tuxedo-wearing man.

My alarm

said 6:56 A. M. when the handsome man left

me in my room with a strange feeling.

My

alarm said 6:57 when I felt nauseous all of a

sudden.

My alarm said 6:58 A.M. when I

looked down, to see my stomach starting to

grow!

My alarm said 6:59 A. M. when the

nausea and fatigue subsided, I continued to

grow, and started feeling… movement? My

alarm said… 6:60 A. M.? when I kept growing

and the movement started getting stronger.

My

alarm said 6:61 A. M. when I felt nothing but

tired again.

My alarm said 6:62 when I felt

short of breath and achy, and realized what they

gave me that catheter for.

My alarm said 6:63

A.M. when everything just hurt, and it didn't

help when my baby kept moving.

I watched my

alarm turn to 6:64 A. M. when I got really

anxious.

I was suddenly pregnant by the

strange handsome man I just married in a weird

ceremony, and the pregnancy had somehow,

instead of 9 months… only lasted 9 minutes.

The strange handsome men came back into my

room. "Who are you? Why me?" "Because of

your adopted family. They took you in as an

abandoned newborn because they knew you

would be perfect." Just then, the baby dropped

down, and my water broke.

I looked at my

alarm, and it said 6:65. "The time is upon us!

My son is to be brought into this world!" My

room was crowded in an instant, and the

searing pain began.

You were born at 6:66,

Daryl.

And when you are of age, you will

conquer the world.
