It was a normal, sunny, smooth day in Midgar. AVALANCHE, a political group that consists of Cloud, Barret, Aerith, Tifa, and Red 13 (also a group that SHINRA targets), was on one of their chaotic, dangerous, adventerous adventures to somehow hack into the Shinra system. You see, Shinra, specifically Tseng (apart of a political Shinra group, the Turks) had kidnapped Aerith because she was the only ancient left in the world and she was only 22 years old. Being an ancient was extremely rare, and if Shinra could get her they could research more about her and the ancients. Professor Hojo, a worker of Shinra, once decided they get her pregnant just so she could recreate another ancient and keep the ancient line going. However, Cloud and Tifa were not going to let that happen. They were going to save their friend before they could do anything to her.
Chapter 1: Breaking The Code...
(Cloud) Tifa. This way.
They both run around the Shinra building at late night, hoping they won't get caught.
(Tifa) Damn. Code?
(Cloud tries entering code) I could swear this was the one...*sighs and enters the code again*
(Tifa) Did you get it to open yet?
(Cloud manages to open secret door to a secret passage in Shinra building) Got it. Lets go. *walks inside with Tifa*
(Cloud) Its dangerous here. Just remember that anything could happen at anytime.
(Tifa) Oh yeah...like that one time when Shinra sent a whole army of bots to come and attack us...glad we survived that!
(Cloud) Right...lets go that way.
(Tifa) Another code? Damn it. Do you know the code for this door?
(Cloud) *sighs* I thought I knew all the codes when I was a Shinra soldier back then...never knew this place was so protected. We'll give it a go anyway. *enters code several times* Damn it...I broke the code...*loud alarm*
A loud bang that sounded like a gunshot suddenly occured.
(Tifa) What the fuck was the that--oh no...
(Cloud) Shinra soldiers...*gets out sword*
(Shinra Soldier 1 holds up gun) PUT DOWN THE WEAPON!
(Tifa) Cloud...put it down...we're in trouble now...
(Shinra Soldier 1 handcuffs Tifa) Alright. You're coming with us. Get him.
(Shina Soldier 2 handcuffs Cloud) He's ready.
The 3 Shinra soldiers hav captured Cloud and Tifa and are now going to bring the to Rufus Shinra, the new president of Shina.
Chapter 2: Captured By Shinra...
It is late at night, and Rufus Shinra is standing and looking outside of the window thinking about Midgar and Shinra. Then the Shinra soldiers suddenly walk into the main room where he is, and they explain what Cloud and Tifa were doing.
(Shina soldier 3 walks into the main room where Rufus Shinra is) Mr. President.
(Rufus Shinra turns around) Oh...well look at what we have here...
(Shinra soldier 3) We caught two little thieves trying to break in.
(Rufus Shinra walks torwards Cloud and Tifa) ...
(Tifa) Look...I swear we didn't mean anything wrong...we just-- *Shinra soldier 1 covers her mouth and points his gun at her*
(Rufus Shinra looks down at Tifa) You did what...? *looks serious and concerned*
(Cloud) We did nothing...
(Rufus Shinra) And who said you could speak..?
(Cloud) ...
(Rufus Shina) Thats what I thought...*points his gun directly at Tifa, with the gun touching her neck* Now you...tell me...what were you saying ealier..?
(Tifa) *looks worried* Nothing important...we did't mean to do anything wrong...
(Rufus Shinra) Well clearly you wanted something...
(Shinra solier 3) Should we leave them with you, sir?
(Rufus Shinra) Yes...but keep them handcuffed...for now.
The Shinra soldiers release them, leaving them with Rufus Shinra...
Chapter 3: The Argument
Cloud and Tifa are now in another smaller room in the Shinra building. It is dark and cold. He orders them to explain everything for him...
(Rufus Shinra) Now...tell me everything honestly...
(Cloud) *sighs* ...
(Rufus Shinra) Oh...are you scared? Well either way you're gonna tell it now or later. And I order now.
(Cloud) ...we need Aerith...
(Rufus Shinra) ...and you aren't getting her...
(Tifa) What do you want with her?
(Rufus Shinra) We need to conduct an experiment on her...she is the only ancient left in this planet...
(Tifa) And what does that matter?
(Rufus Shinra) Are you blind? That girl is the only ancient left on this planet. We need to get all the information we can about her...so you aren't getting her anytime soon.
(Cloud) So...are you going to release us then?
(Rufus Shinra) Well...since you're anyway stuck here...might as well stay here. Maybe we'll get some information off of you both, too.
(Cloud) You aren't going to be doing that.
(Rufus Shinra) Says who? I'm president. It is better we stop all of this and bring peace to this world. I have no interest in killing you, but I am rather curious of what information you know.
(Tifa) What information do you want?
(Rufus Shinra) About the materia...the promised land...that girl you want...I know you know certain things that I need to know more about.
(Cloud) Then you'll let us go? Surprised you have that much trust in us...
However, little did they know that Rufus Shinra was just testing them. He already knew pretty much everything that they knew, he was just going to be testing them if they were trust-worthy.
(Rufus Shinra) Its a very simple question...what are the Ancients known as?
(Cloud) *scoffs* Too easy...Centra.
(Rufus Shinra) Do you believe that Sephiroth is an Ancient?
(Cloud) I believe that he believes he is.
(Rufus Shinra) Does the girl know where the promised land could be?
(Cloud) No...and why are you asking me those kind of questions? You just want to find the promised land, don't you?
(Rufus Shinra) Yes...and get all the information I can about you while you are here. You might as well be useful for once.
(Cloud) For once?
(Rufus Shinra) Yes. For once.
(Tifa) We've been useful more than that.
(Rufus Shinra) In your head, yes.
(Tifa) ...
(Rufus Shinra smirks) So...
(Cloud) Was else do you want?
(Rufus Shinra) Oh, trust me. I'm barely even there to finding out even 1% of your information.
(Cloud) Stupid...shouldn't you already know pretty much everything about me?
(Rufus Shinra) Not where the Promised Land could be...or anything about the ancients...or the girl.
(Cloud) Find it out yourself.
(Rufus Shinra) Tell me at least something...then I'll let you go...even the smallest thing is good enough.
(Cloud) ...
(Tseng walks inside the room) Mr.President--oh. Well look at what we have here...they in trouble?
(Rufus Shinra) They tried to break in the Shinra building. Since they are here might as well get some information off of them.
(Tseng walks over to Rufus Shinra) I see...*slams papers on Rufus Shinra's desk* Papers.
(Rufus Shinra) ...
(Tseng) And if they were trying to get the girl--
(Rufua Shinra) --in which they were...
(Tseng) --then they should know that they aren't getting her.
(Cloud and Tifa) ...
(Tseng) They're useless little liers. They won't tell you anything. Its too risky. They aren't trustworthy enough. We need someone who is trustworthy enough and who is a expert, not some little so-called-heroes who won't tell you anything.
(Rufus Shinra) ...I'm not letting them go that easily...
(Tseng) I advise you should. What's the point of just leaving them here?
(Rufus Shinra) I know they know where the promised land is, and they know it too.
(Cloud) Well might as well let us go.
(Rufus Shinra) Why? You wanna cause more trouble to Midgar?
(Cloud) No. But if we can't get what we wanted, then you aren't getting what you wanted.
(Rufus Shinra) And who said that was a rule?
(Cloud) Its only fair.
(Tifa) Cloud...
(Rufus Shinra) Or does she *looks at Tifa* know where the promised land could be? Or anything about the ancients?
(Tifa) A lot of that is stuff that you should know. You're president.
(Tseng) *sighs* Its useless to keep on fighting with them. They're wasting your time. Just let them go.
(Rufus Shinra) ...
Chapter 4: Leaving Shinra
Tifa and Cloud walk out of the Shinra building, with 3 Shinra soldiers leading them out.
(Tifa) Well...that was close.
(Cloud) Yeah...but we didn't get Aerith.
(Tifa) At least we tried. But we're gonna figure out something!
(Cloud) *sighs* Yeah...I'm hungry. You?
(Tifa) Lets go back to Seventh Heaven! I'll cook up something nice!
Cloud and Tifa walk back to the AVALANCHE base, and that was the end of their day...
