CHAPTER 5

Cesca and her group had got through security and they had used their tickets to get in.

They were now in the main park and were on Main Street USA.

Cesca had gathered her group together to tell them the plan for today.

"We're going for tea together in our group tonight so if we meet outside of the Plaza Gardens Restaurant, which is just at the bottom of Main Street USA, at 6:45"

"Okay" They all chorused

"Do you all have my phone number"

They all said "Yes"

"Off you go then … Ring me if you have any problems"

Josie and Jennifer were first to leave the group. They didn't do Spanish at A-Level unlike the other three so they didn't really know Cesca and they had never ever spoken to Ronan, Vicki and Jonah before so they were quite shy in their group.

"Are you coming with us?" Ronan asked Jonah

"You's go mate and enjoy your day together I'm just gonna have a bit of a wander around"

"Okay see you later"

Cesca took Jonah to the inside way of going down Main Street USA so they could take a seat so she could ring Jade.

Cesca scrolled through her contacts until she found Jade's name and clicked on it and it began to ring.

It didn't take long for Jade to answer.

They were on the phone for about 5 minutes and it was decided that they would meet up after the park closed.

Once off the phone Cesca explained the plans to Jonah.

"We're gonna meet Jade at about 10:30pm because it's after the park has closed and we're gonna go for a drink at the Newport Bay Hotel because no one we know will be there"

"Sounds great Ces … I can't wait to meet Jade and spend time with you"

They had now moved their way from the bench and were making their way down Main Street USA.

"Do you want to go and get some food"

"Yeah sure ... Where do you want to go?"

"I was thinking the Café Hyperion"

"Yeah sounds good"

They made their way to Discoveryland

Cesca went and found a seat while Jonah went and got the food. She found the perfect table for the two of them to sit at because it was in the corner and there was a fake tree in front of it so they were quite well hidden and no one would be able to see them.

Jonah came back with the food and sat down while Cesca sorted it all out.

"I know this might be a stupid question but can you go on any rides?"

"It's not stupid … Yeah I can just not the roller coasters or the big rides like tower of terror"

"Oh right that's good then"

"So what shall we go on first"

"Well seen as though we're in Discoveryland I think we should go on the Buzz Lightyear ride"

"I would say that is a very good idea but you know I'm gonna beat you right" Cesca said winking at Jonah

"Oh I wouldn't be so sure" Jonah said laughing

"We all know what happened last time when we played golf" Cesca smiled but her smile soon turned into fear "Jonah … If we see anyone we know just say that we bumped into each other or something"

"Don't worry everything will be fine"

Luckily for Cesca and Jonah the queue wasn't too long so it didn't take them long to get on the ride.

They had now just got off the ride and were walking to look at the pictures.

"I told you I would beat you," Cesca laughed.

"Eeh what do we look like?" Jonah said pointing at the picture of the 2 of them.

"I'm gonna get it"

Cesca went and bought the photo before they looked around the shop.

"Where shall we go next?"

"It's a small world" Cesca said excitedly

Cesca and Jonah spent the rest of the day going on rides and looking in shops.

It was slowly approaching half 6 and Cesca thought it would be best to go and wait outside the restaurant for her group just in case anyone was early.

Cesca and Jonah made their way through Frontierland back to Main Street USA.

Cesca was really surprised that she hadn't heard from Chris today or any of the other staff. They must have all been having too much fun. One thing Cesca was really glad about though was that she hadn't seen anyone they knew all day.

Once the rest of the group had arrived they all went inside the restaurant.

Cesca started speaking to the waiter in French explaining that they had a reservation before paying using the meal vouchers they had.

The group were all very surprised when their teacher began to speak fluent French. None of them even knew that she could speak French other than Jonah. They thought she could only speak Spanish.

They had all just sat down when Cesca spoke to the group.

"You all go and get some food and I'll wait here"

They all quickly got up and made their way to the food except for Jonah who had stayed seated at the table with Cesca.

Just then Cesca's phone started to ring. It was Chris.

"Hi Chris, is everything alright?"

"Hi Cesca, yeah everything's fine I'm just ringing to see how your day went"

"Yeah it was really good thanks"

"Ahh good … Erm just to let you know that we are all meeting at 9:00pm at the end of Main Street USA just before you get to the castle"

"Right I'll see you then we're just having tea"

"Yeah we are too … See you soon"

Cesca's group had a really nice meal together and they were now waiting outside the castle for the rest of the group. They had all managed to get on a few more rides together before they had to meet everyone.

They hadn't been waiting for long when all of the other groups arrived.

Chris was the first to speak.

"Now everyone I hope you've all had a great day so far … The park shuts in an hour but we are all going to go back to the hotel then you have a choice of what you want to do … You can either stay in or around the hotel or you can go to the village and do some shopping"

Once Chris had said everything he had to say they all began to walk back to the hotel in their groups.

Cesca and Jonah were at the back again.
