Later, at Restoration HQ, all of the heroes celebrated in the parts that hadn't earlier been wrecked by Shadow's attack, holding an ice cream party for everyone involved. Rouge stepped in as Sonic and Tails ate their cones together, the younger Tails by her side. "Just got off the line with GUN. They've got Infinite buried pretty deep in one of their high security sites. he's not getting out any time soon."

"And once we get the original Phantom Ruby back to OUR universe, he won't be able to tap into its power anymore! Though the Valtron might still be a problem..." The younger Tails said, before noticing his older counterpart's cone. "OOH! Is that mint?"

"Yeah, fresh batch! How about we get you some before you guys gotta go home?" The older Tails replied, leading his younger self away. Sonic chuckled as he watched the two. "Man, don't see why he likes the mint flavor so much. Tastes like toothpaste."

"Oh, and YOUR choice of a Chocolate Chipped Cream Sundae Supreme is just SO much better?"

"HEY! A good friend of mine LOVED these things!" Sonic defended, taking a lick of his cone. "Besides, I've been burning the calories the past few days..."

"A healthy diet is a constant regiment, blue hedgehog." Shadow said, emerging from the dark corners and scaring the living daylights out of Sonic. "Shadow? Not like YOU to be a social butterfly! What's the occasion?"

Shadow held up his cone. "They had coffee bean. Even I have weaknesses."

"Well, I guess weaknesses and limits are alright, as long as you know what they are, and who to call on when you need to face them!" Sonic said, holding out his cone as if for a toast. Shadow accepted that offer. "I can see the wisdom in that, though I don't entirely agree."

"Always gotta make it difficult, don't you?" Sonic remarked. Shadow just shrugged before walking away. "I wonder if they have strawberry?" Rouge wondered to herself, before she suddenly bumped into a familiar face.

"Silver?"

Silver the Hedgehog just looked around, holding the white Chaos Emerald in his hand. "...I just missed everything, didn't I?"

"Jewel?" Amy called out, wandering to the administrative office seeking out the beetle. As usual, she found the bug sorting through mountains of paperwork. "Jewel? You coming to get some ice cream? They've got TONS of flavors!"

"Oh, I'd love to, but I have so much to do! I need to schedule repairs to the headquarters, divert resources to towns affected by Infinite's rampage, not to mention-" Amy shut her up before she could continue. "Jewel, we can do all of that TOMORROW. Come on! WE WON!"

Still, Jewel hesitated. "Look, Tangle's up in the infirmary, so I'm having to drag you out solo tonight. You REALLY wanna make it harder?" Amy said, putting her hands on her hips.

Jewel considered this for a second. "Well...If they have some basic chocolate, at least..."
