Piccolo led Gohan to a quiet clearing near a calm stream. The night was still, the sound of the water adding a tranquil backdrop.

Piccolo gestured for Gohan to sit on the soft grass. He knelt across from him, his cape pooling around him as his serious gaze softened.

"You've been holding this in for years, haven't you?" Piccolo asked.

Gohan nodded, his hands twisting nervously in his lap. "I was afraid. Afraid of what you'd think of me."

Piccolo reached out, placing his large hand over Gohan's. "You don't have to be afraid anymore. I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere."

The sincerity in Piccolo's voice brought a fresh wave of tears to Gohan's eyes. He threw himself into Piccolo's arms, his voice muffled as he confessed, "I thought you'd never love me back. I thought I'd lose you if I said anything."

"You'll never lose me," Piccolo murmured, his voice low but firm. He cupped Gohan's face, his thumbs brushing away his tears. "You mean too much to me."

Piccolo leaned in, his lips meeting Gohan's in a kiss that was deeper this time, more fervent, as if to convey all the emotions he had suppressed. Gohan responded eagerly, his hands tangling in Piccolo's Gi.

Gohan's mind was in a swirl of emotions- wondering back to Videl's betrayal, the spark that Piccolo's touch ignited. How every touch was as if, to Piccolo, Gohan was his most precious thing in the word. And how finding out that Piccolo returned his feelings was too good to be true. How everything Piccolo did to him was too good to be true.

Gohan's eyes widened like saucers in a middle of the lip lock that Piccolo had him in, as one of the nemekian's hands caressed his jaw, and the other traveled somewhere very intimate. As Piccolo's skillful hand traveled to underneath his pants, and started to fondle and pet his most intimate part, with Piccolo nipping and suckling his bottom lip, Gohan jerked himself away.
