After the Ninja succeeded in defeating the Sons of Garmadon and Hutchins all was peaceful in Ninjago City. Two garbage collectors were starting their nightly shift and were driving down the road, listening to the radio, "In other news, Ninjago City has once again been saved by the Ninja from the clutches of the militant biker gang calling themselves the Sons of Garmadon."
"Yeah, heard about that?" The driver asked his partner. "Happened just a few blocks away. Crazy, right?" He asked as the radio continued.
"Over three hundred of its gang members have been sentenced to Kryptarium Prison, while its suspected leader, The Royal Advisors of Ninjago, Hutchins, is being questioned by police." The radio added as the two garbage men were picking up the garbage.
"Uh, what I wouldn't give to be a ninja." The second man said as started doing some moves, kicking his cup into the truck while also throwing out his back. "Ooohh!" He groaned.
The first man laughed as he moved a dumpster, "Easy there, Master of Trash," He joked as his buddy straightened himself up, "The shift just started." He said as he opened up the dumpster.
"Aw, this drive, it's killing me." The second man complained as he started throwing some trash into the garbage truck.
But as they worked, they heard a foreboding whisper in the darkness, "He calls me." A man with a deep voice drawn out as the trashman looks at his buddy in confusion.
"He calls you what?" The second man asked his partner in confusion.
"I didn't say anything." The first man said in confusion as they got back to work.
"He… calls… me." The voice said again as the two trashmen looked around in confusion as they turned and saw a dark and familiar shadowy figure walking towards them.
The trash men then screamed as they ran away as the shadowy figure oned its red eyes. "He… calls… me." He repeated as the face revealed to be Garmadon, but in his evil face again as his right eye was red and the other was a small purple dot.
In the morning, Hutchins was a the police station in the interrogation room cuffed up as the Commissioner and an officer looked at her through the one-way mirror.
"Have he talked yet?" The Commissioner asked.
"Yeah, he hasn't given us squat." The officer answered. "For a Watcher, he sure is the quiet one." He commented.
"Be patient, he'll tell us where the Emperor and Empress are." The Commissioner encouraged, "We promised the Princess we get her answers, and that's what we're gonna do."
On the streets, the trash truck Garmadon stole was driving at high speed through the city while passing some cars.
Back in the police station, Hutchins sat quietly as rumbling could be heard outside as something crashed into the station while people outside the room started screaming as crashing noises could be heard as Hutchins lifted his head up as he wondered what was going on.
"No, it can't be-" The Commissioner spoke in shock from across the room.
"Sir, watch out!" an officer said before the door busted open and the Commission was tossed into the wall of the integration room as he groaned and slid to the floor unconscious.
Hutchins looked in shock as he turned to the door and saw someone he thought he failed to bring back as he entered. "Hu-chi-ins." Garmadon moaned as his dark eyes looked at him.
"You're free," Hutchins said with a smile before he looked at his cuffs and held out his arms. "Now free me." He said as his plans succeed and things are turning around for him.
Meanwhile, at Laughy's Bar, the Ninja celebrated their victory over the S.O.G and, inadvertently, finally found Master Wu, who was now a baby at the time, but would return to his normal age eventually.
The Ninja sang the Weekend Whip, as Misako, Lloyd, Lydie, and the girls watched on. "It's time for training and we're getting started. It's on you know." They sang as Dareth passed a customer a drink as he listened to the Ninja singing as Baby Wu danced around. "And we wanna see you whip and shouted. We rock, you roll. They say go slow. And everything just stands so till. We say go, go. We're ready to fight we know the drill. It seems so long ago…"
"This part is-" Jay said in excitement. "Okay, listen-"
"Okay, here it comes," Cole said as the Ninja sang together again.
"They say go slow. And everything just stands so still." They sang as Misako and the Garma-Twins laughed at Wu dancing and laughing.
"That must be a strange sight," Pixal said turning to the three, "To see someone you've known for so long to suddenly look so young." She said.
"He always had a young soul," Misako said.
"But at least he's happy," Lloyd said as baby Wu kept dancing.
"Sometimes he even acts like a child. Remember the time when he got excited about the Ferris wheel in Mega Monster Amusement Park?" Lydie asked as they all laughed as well.
"In the end, it looks like we came out with a happy ending," Seliel said with a smile.
Skylor turned her head and saw Harumi leaning sadly on the railing, "Well, maybe not all of us." She said, gesturing to Harumi.
The others turned and frowned in sympathy for the princess. None of them blamed her for being sad, for the second time in her life, she had lost her home, her family and was betrayed by the very man who swore to protect her.
"Not everyone has a happy ending," Pixal noted to them as they gave sympathetic looks to Harumi.
Lydie then turned to Lloyd as she gestured to her brother to go to her, seeing that Harumi needed him most. Lloyd nodded and walked up to her.
Harumi had her arms crossed while leaning on the railing as Lloyd walked up to her. "Rumi, I'm so sorry this happened to you again." He said solemnly.
"What does it matter?" Harumi asked as she turned and leaned on the railing. "Hutchins got what he deserved. At least justice is served."
"But you don't feel like it was a victory for you," Lloyd said as Harumi looked more sad. "Harumi, your parents are still alive, I know they are." He encouraged her.
"No one could survive that fire, Lloyd," Harumi said solemnly.
"Hutchins did. And look how he turned out." Lloyd pointed as Harumi looked at him with a brow as Lloyd realized what he said. "Right, sorry. Wrong words. But please, have faith. The police are questioning Hutchins right now for anything about your parents, and the Commissioner promised that he'll let you know immediately if they found the Emperor and Empress." He reminded her.
"And don't think you're not without family," The two turned and saw Misako walking towards them, "Until we find your parents Harumi, you're welcome to stay with me." She offered the princess.
"Are you certain, Mrs. Garmadon? I don't want to pry." Harumi said uncertainly before Misako raised her hand.
"Harumi dear please, just call me Misako and I don't mind," Misako assured as she held Harumi's hand, "And as my son's new girlfriend, you can consider yourself my daughter if you wish." She said with a smile.
Harumi smiled back tearfully as she hugged Misako, "Thank you." She said happily as Misako returned the gesture before she looked at her son and gestured to him to join in, which Lloyd did as the two hugged Harumi from both sides.
Lydie and Pixal smiled at the three. "Mom sure knows how to make a person feel welcome." Lydie said with a smile.
"She is your mother after all." Pixal noted.
"True." Lydie said before a mind crossed her. "Hey, Pixal, I've been meaning to ask you, how did you get a new body?" She asked in wonder.
"What makes you say that?" Pixal asked.
"Well, Zane told us that your original body was destroyed when you two were caught by Chen when he scrapped you for parts." Lydie pointed out. "And if it wasn't for Zane taking your neural drive and installing it into himself, you would've been just a memory. So how did you manage to get a new body?"
Pixal looked a bit sheepish, "Well I may have, borrowed some equipment from my father." She said while rubbing her head.
"You mean like how Zane did his body?" Lydie asked as Pixal nodded. "But how did you get from his head to Borg's Industries to do it? Did you take a detour through the net when Zane lost contact with you during the Vermillion incident?"
"Well, how else did you think Samurai X came in to aid you?" Pixal asked with a smirk.
"You're a sneaky girl, Pixal." Skylor said with a chuckle. "Though, if Zane's body is anything like how he first got rebuilt, did you make some upgrade of your own to yours?"
Pixal smiled and then in a moment, her metallic skin turned a pale human like and her silver hair turned ash gray, "I may have acquired a few tricks." She answered.
"Hey, cloaking tech like Zane's. Nice. And great human form you pick, Pixal." Lydie complimented as Pixal turned back to her real form. "Did you just put that in to flirt with Zane in human form to go on human dates?" She asked with a teasing smirk.
"Maybe," Pixal said with a smirk of her own as they, Seliel and Skylor chuckled as the Ninja kept singing while Wu danced around laughing.
Lydie then noticed something about the TV and turned to, "What the…" She muttered before she turned to Dareth. "Hey, Dareth, cut the music." She said to him.
Dareth turned to her in surprise before he went under the counter and shut off the music, much to the Ninja's dismay, "Hey what the?" Morro complained.
"Come on," Cole complained.
"We were just getting into it!" Demir added.
"Why did you do that, why?" Jay questioned.
"What is it, Lydie?" Misako asked her daughter in wonder as she, Lloyd, and Harumi broke the hug.
"Look." Lydie pointed to the TV as it showed Gayle Gossip giving a news report outside the police station.
Dareth turned up the TV's Volume as he gave a warm smile. "It's always good to see my beautiful Gayle Gossip, ah." He sighed fondly as Gayle spoke to the camera while some police officers were being tended.
"Where an assailant rammed a stolen garbage truck into the front of it," Gayle spoke as the entire group looked at the TV in shock. "I'm hearing word it was a jailbreak. A prisoner was freed from custody."
"Okay, maybe not always good," Dareth said as he placed his remote down as he turned to the Ninja. "Hey, didn't you put that Royal Advisor in jail? You don't think it's him, do you?" He asked hopefully.
"Who else could it be?" Seliel said dully.
Morro scratched his head, "But I don't get it, every member of the S.O.G is in Kryptarium, including Ultra Violet, Killow and Mr.E," He said in confusion, "Who could've broken him out?"
"Maybe one member got away?" Nya suggested.
"Maybe, but who would be daring enough to ram a truck into a Police Precinct?" Rose questioned.
"Okay, I'm getting verification the prisoner that was freed was the recently apprehended Royal Advisor, Hutchins." Gayle said as the screen changed to a security video, "Security footage caught the two on video." She added as they saw Hutchins running out but what they all focused on was the man who ran after him.
The Garma-Twins then looked in horror when they saw the man's jet-black skin, helmet, armor, red eyes…and four arms. "No," Lydie whispered.
"Holy cow. That looks like…" Dareth trailed off in shock as he gasped as the rest of the Ninja looked in shock at what they saw.
They all turned to Lloyd and Lydie, still reeling from what they saw, while Misako had her mouth covered and shaking her head. "That… That's impossible." Lloyd breathed in shock.
"That… That couldn't be him." Lydie added.
"Could be anyone." Kai tried to assure.
"But he has four arms." Zane pointed out, which got his head smacked by Kai.
"So does Enaz." Jay reminded him. "Heh, who doesn't have four arms these days?" He asked with a smile since they've seen other people and creatures having four arms.
"But I don't get it, we stopped the ceremony, didn't we?" Lydie questioned as she turned to her mother, who was just as shocked as them.
"I'm telling you, that's not him." Jay tried to deny. "If that's Lord Garmadon, heh, I'm Lord of the Jig." He joked.
"Th-That's what he s-said," An officer on the tv stammered as Gayle questioned him "Kn-Kneel before Lord Garmadon."
Lydie pressed her hands to her head, panting fearfully, "It's him. It's him." She repeated in fear as next to her Lloyd was the same.
"You better start jiggin', Jay," Cole said as they all took off their party hats as Nya picked up Baby Wu.
"Looks like we didn't stop the ceremony at all." Rose said with her hands together in worry "Just delayed it for Garmadon to claw back into the land of the living."
"Just not as the Garmadon we know." Demir added.
Morro went over to Lydie and hugged her from behind, "It's okay, Lyd. Just take it slow." He comforted as Lydie leaned into him.
Next to them, Harumi did the same for Lloyd. "I'm here Lloyd, just breath, slowly." Harumi soothed her boyfriend.
The Garma-Twins started to calm down as they started breathing slowly as they hugged their lovers back as Nya walked up to Misako.
"Misako, can you find a place to keep Wu somewhere safe?" Nya asked as she gave Baby Wu to her.
After calming down, Lydie turned to her mother, "Yeah, if Father is back you, Wu, and us are his first targets." She said looking worried, "And I rather not think about what dad would do to you."
"Don't worry, dear. We'll be fine." Misako assured before Morro spoke up.
"But where would you go?" Morro asked while seeing the problem. "If Garmadon's back, he would have memories of all our hiding places. Including his own Monastery."
"He's got a point." Demir said in agreement. "Even if Garmadon's evil again, he's gotta know all of our hiding places."
"Then we need a place our father never knew about," Lloyd said.
"Well, I have a corner pad on the east side," Dareth spoke up. "You two can make it your own. Heh, heh. Just don't mind the underwear lying around." He said sheepishly.
"We'll take him there now." Misako said as she held Wu.
"The rest of us, we've got work to do," Kai spoke seriously, since now Garmadon is back and returned to evil, they have to be ready for him.
A little bit later, Dareth led Misako and Baby Wu to his pad, which was close to a river as they entered his apartment. "I got this place in chase the Brown Ninja ever needed a secret headquarters. Heh." Dareth said with a joke. "Truthfully, I'm a little bummed the Ninja haven't needed me more."
"Well, we need you now." Misako said with a smile. "This is perfect, Dareth."
Dareth smiled at her for the compliment as they entered the apartment as they saw Dareth's place was a bit messy as Dareth gasped as he didn't realize his pad was this messy as he started cleaning up as much as he could as he turned to Misako.
"The toilets on your right." Dareth said while pointing in a direction. "If it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down. If it's blue-" He trailed off as he gave a confused look. "Uh, I don't know what to do." He said as he laughed at his own joke.
Misako and Baby Wu looked at each other in confusion as Misako gave a dull look at Dareth with her hands on her hips as she closed the door.
"Sorry." Dareth apologized. "I guess this isn't the time for jokes." He added as Misako and Wu looked around. "In all seriousness, since you and the Ninja never came to my pad before, no one should find you here. Not even you're now resurrected husband." He said honestly.
Misako looked around before she saw a printed portrait of Gayle Gossip on the wall with hearts drawn around her as Misako looked amused. "Gayle Gossip?" She asked as she chuckled about that.
Dareth came to her as he rubbed his head in embarrassment. "What can I say? I'm a news junkie." He said as he took out the portrait and put it in his relining bed with some other things as he closed it.
Wu noticed the Shurkiens and moved to grab one before Dareth grabbed them away from him. "Uh-oh. For a safe house, I guess it could be a little more child-friendly or, uh little master-friendly." He commented as Wu ran up to Misako's leg and hugged it as he rubbed his head as Misako smiled cutely at Baby Wu. "I gotta be honest. This little dude is freaking me out. No offense Wu." He said to Baby Wu.
"This will do just fine," Misako assured with a smile. "Thank you, Dareth. Or should I say Brown Ninja?" She said.
"Heh, heh. The honor is all mine." Dareth said as he held up his shuriken. "Now, just find a place, I'll barrack the doors." He said before he rushed to the door and started hammering away.
Misako's smile then turned into a frown as she sat down on a couch, reached into her dress, pulled out her locket, and opened it as she looked at her husband's picture with tears, "Oh, my poor Garmadon." She said, closing her eyes and holding her locket close as Wu came up to her and hugged her leg in comfort.
At the police station, the Ninja are at the crime scene as the police officers chattered around cleaning up while the garbage truck is still at the entrance while the Ninja talked with the Commissioner.
"And you're sure it was Garmadon?" Zane asked.
"Yes, but he's not the man who I remembered sacrificed himself to save Ninjago." The Commissioner stated. "This is someone else. Like they just brought back the worst parts in some kind of Zombified package."
"I'm sorry but did you say, Zombie Garmadon?" Rose asked, a little freaked out.
"What are you saying, Commissioner?" Morro questioned with a brow.
"I'm saying that Garmadon's body looked a bit incomplete." The Commissioner stated. "I mean, his evil mug was still there, but his body, it's like it's missing a few pieces. I swear I saw his bones in his armor, purple stuff dripping out from him, and his eyes were like lifeless black pits."
"Looks like our interference with Hutchin's resurrection must've caused father's new body to be incomplete." Lydie said with a frown. "And it also confirms he really is evil again." She added solemnly, seeing that this wasn't their real father they were dealing with.
"You can say that again," The Commissioner said in agreement. "I've never seen anything like him before. But his evil wasn't the only thing that was brought back, looks like he hadn't lost his moves either even in his incomplete body, twenty of my officers tried to take him down, but- just-" He said as he looked down. "We couldn't stop him. I tried to reason with him, but it was like there was nothing left inside to reason with." He stated shamefully.
"But you saw where they were going," Skylor said. "He didn't just break Hutchins out and disappear. They must have left a clue." She suggested.
"All they left us with is broken glass, a handful of sore backsides, and a healthy dose of humility." The Commissioner stated. "Ah. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help." He apologized.
"You did what you could," Lloyd assured. "Besides, this is our fight to bear." He added as Lydie nodded in agreement.
"You sure you're both up for this?" The Commissioner asked in concern.
"Not really, but we'll try," Lydie said.
"We all are," Kai said as he and the others nodded.
"And look on the bright side, it's your father and Hutchins," Cole spoke. "At least the rest of the Sons of Garmadon are locked away, right?" He asked.
Seliel then facepalmed, "Oh, you just had to jinx it didn't ya?" She asked dully.
Then Gayle Gossip spoke through the TV on the wall. "I'm standing outside the Kryptarium Prison-" Gayle started.
"Aw, come on. More breaking news?" Jay complained.
"Haven't we learned never to say that phrase?" Demir asked dully.
"I'm getting world there's a prison break-in." Gayle continued as the Ninja and the officers continued to listen. "But you heard me correct, folks- a break-in. The entire prison has fallen under the control of its prisoners." She said.
"Ha. At least you got to admit we've got a top-notch newscenter." Cole commented that NGTV News are pretty good at giving out news anywhere in Ninjago.
"News certainly travels fast." Rose said with a shrug.
"And we now know where Hutchins and Lord Garmadon are," Zane spoke, while the Garma-Twins looked down in deep thought.
'Time to get real bro.' Lydie told her brother mentally.
'Yeah.' Lloyd replied.
At Kryptarium Prison, Hutchins was at the tower center of the prison as the S.O.G members were chanting as Hutchins pressed the release button as all the cages opened up and the bikers were now freed as they started cheering as Ultra Violet came dragging in the warden.
"The warden wants to make a deal!" Ultra Violet called out out as she shoved the warden forward and he looked nervous.
The warden cleared his throat as he spoke. "Y-You and all your friends are free to good. No one needs to get hurt, right?" He asked nervously.
"Actually, I think we'll be staying, if there's anyone leaving…" Hutchins spoke as he looked down at the warden as he whimpered frightfully.
A few minutes later, the warden was tossed out of the prison by Killow as he screamed when he was flung before his officers caught him when they were tossed out as well.
Hutchins then looked at Ultra Violet and Killow as the bikers cheered. "The Ninja will be coming. Make preparations for this arrival." He ordered as Ultra Violet chuckled insanely.
"Oh, yeah." Ultra Violet said eagerly as she and Killow went to prepare as Hutchins looked at his cults.
"Sons of Garmadon, no longer shall I be the Watcher! No longer shall I stand by and watch from the shadows and no longer shall you, for our father, our Lord and Master has returned!" Hutchins declared as the S.O.G then started cheering as he bowed and gestured to the entrance.
The S.O.G watched eagerly as they saw a red-eyed shadowy figure walking from the entrance as Garmadon was fully revealed, four arms and all, as the S.O.G then started cheering for him. "Garmadon! Garmadon!" They repeated the cheering as Garmadon gave an evil smile at the sight of his many worshippers.
At sunset, the Bounty was flying through the sky, the Boys and girls on the bridge in deep thought and concern and Lloyd was currently looking at his family photo with his sister, parents, and uncle as he was conflicted at seeing him again in his evil state.
"This is not good. This is really not good." Cole said nervously.
"Thanks for stating the obvious." Skylor sarcastically said.
"We barely beat them last time," Pixal called out.
"And that was when we had the help of the entire police force," Zane added.
"And now they had Lord Garmadon on their side," Nya stated.
"Who just mopped the floor with police just a few hours ago in a zombified state." Morro pointed out.
"Indeed, I would rank our situation under the 'rather large Kerfuffle' category," Rose said nervously.
Lydie raised her hands, "We can beat them, we just need a plan." She told them.
"And what is that plan?" Jay asked her.
Lloyd looked at the photo a little bit more before he stood up and looked off in the distance. "We go to Kryptarium Prison." He said seriously.
"Okay. So your plan is for us to charge in on Garmadon, Hutchins, and his entire gang while they're fortified in an impenetrable bunker and just wing it." Demir rhetorically said before turning to Lloyd. "Yeah, not the best plan. Anyone have anything else?" Everyone stayed silent as they didn't have any other ideas. "Okay, not all at once. One at a time, please."
"Demir, You're not helping." Nya said firmly before sighing, "But he's right, going to Kryptarium may not be the best plan."
"But Lydie and I have to face him, Nya," Lloyd argued. "We turned him once. We can turn him again."
"Ah. That sounds like a really bad idea." Kai spoke.
"Kai's saying it's a bad idea to throw ourselves into the Dragon's mouth and he's always for that plan." Seliel stated as Kai looked at her insult.
"I agree. It's too dangerous. That's exactly what they want." Zane pointed out.
"And Lloyd, you heard what the Commissioner said," Harumi said, going up to her boyfriend, "That man isn't your father anymore."
"We don't know that," Lloyd argued. "We have to try!" he implored, turning to the edge.
"Which we, us as a team or just you and Lydie?" Morro questioned.
Zane then approached, "I'm afraid that in this case, your past may be clouding your judgment, Lloyd."
"Yeah, you're just gonna have to trust what we say on this," Jay spoke.
"And what say is that we must stay as far from that place as possible," Rose said.
"Listen Rose and the Lord of the Jig," Cole said as Jay looked at him with a look, "They know what they're talking about."
"We barge in and your dad's gonna wipe the floors with us before we even blink." Demir added.
"So it's best to strategize this from a distance before making any headway." Nya said.
Lloyd turned to his friends in frustration before looking at Lydie, "Lydie come on! You know I'm right about this, right?" He asked her.
Lydie looked at her brother with sympathy before sighing, "Lloyd, I know what you're feeling, but you have to remember that your Light power isn't as strong as it was when we purged father of the Overlord." Lydie said while looking down. "We can't face him so soon. We need a better plan other than just charging in all Ninja blazing and-." She added.
"Wait, you agree with them?!" Lloyd asked in shock, "You're telling me, that we should run away as Hutchins uses our father like a puppet?!"
"We're not running away!" Lydie said firmly, walking up to him. "We're just putting distance between us and them until we have a better plan because what you're suggesting is falling right into their hands." She told him.
"We need to at least try! Our father is there and he needs us!" Lloyd shouted.
"Lloyd, for once in your life, stop being a stubborn little kid and just listen to me!" Lydie shouted in his face. "Maybe we can save Father but we need to be certain we can, meaning going on the attack now isn't an option!" She told him firmly.
Lloyd growled as he then pushed his sister back. "If we don't go now, our father could bring all of Ninjago to its knees before we can do anything!" He shouted.
"Lloyd!" Harumi gasped as the others looked at Lloyd in shock.
"And if we don't hang back, we'll walk right into a trap, you know that!" Lydie shouted before she marched up to her brother and grabbed him by the shirt. "Lloyd, why can't you get it?! This isn't our father we're dealing with, I'm telling you that Ninjago needs to come first!"
"So father doesn't matter?! You want us to just give up on him!?" Lloyd demanded pushing her off, "Or maybe, you're too afraid to face him because you think you're not strong enough!" He accused.
Lydie looked at him in insult before glaring, "Or maybe I'm actually being smart like a leader should be, unlike you Mr. Serpentine Liberator!" She said pointing to Lloyd as he gritted his teeth at her.
The others looked at the two in worry as this went from a debate on plans to a very personal argument, "Hey, guys! Cut it out!" Kai told them Garma-Twins.
"This isn't like you!" Rose added in worry.
"You two are family! You shouldn't fight like you're enemies!" Pixal said as she rushed up to Lloyd and held him by the shoulder as Cole did the same for Lydie.
"So enough with this family issue and work together!" Morro called out. "You two are the Ninjas of Yin & Yang, you have to-" He trailed off as Lydie pushed Cole.
"No, not this time!" Lydie said before glaring at her brother, "Lloyd, this isn't about us getting our dad back, it's about protecting Ninjago! Maybe we can save Dad one day but that day isn't today, especially if you think that brute force with a flashy entrance is gonna work!"
"Oh yeah sure, and holding back and hiding from him is protecting Ninjago." Lloyd insulted as he marched up to her.
"Lloyd, we're ninja, we always stick to the shadows!" Lydie reminded him. "You think that if we fight him and hope he'll just magically turn again would work, then you're dead wrong! Because this isn't like last time!"
"Well you would know wouldn't you?!" Lloyd said sarcastically before pointing a finger to her chest, "After all, this is your power we're dealing with isn't it, Daughter of the Dark Lord?"
Lydie growled as her eyes glowed purple. "Don't call me that!" She yelled as she brought her powers. "I'm more than that! And I'm more than you'll ever be!"
Lloyd snarled and brought out his own powers, "I'd like to see you try Shadow Girl!" He dared.
"And you will, Golden Boy!" Lydie glared as they were about to go at it before.
"ENOUGH!" Morro yelled as he stood between them as Harumi went up to Lloyd and he looked at the Twins, "Guys, I'm sorry. But I'm pulling experience rank and taking charge!" He told them firmly.
"Now hang on just Morro-" Lloyd was cut off.
"Shut it!" Morro shouted firmly, which made Lloyd quiet down. "Look, I know both your hearts are in the right places wanting to save your father and Ninjago, but you two are in too deep of an emotional and mental state to even think clearly. Look at what you almost did to each other." He told them.
The Garma-Twins looked at each other for a moment as Lydie looked at her hands to see her dark energy going off and realized what she was about to do, "W-What are we doing?" She asked herself as her voice returned to normal as she shook her hands and her powers turned off.
Lloyd saw his golden powers as he sighed and powered down as Harumi held him in concern, "Alright, then what do you suggest we do, boss?" He asked Morro curtly.
Morro gave him a look before sighing, "I'm saying that right now, emotions are way too high so let's all just take a break, clear our heads, and then come back with a strategy to take the S.O.G down, capture Garmadon and see if we can cure him, agreed?" He asked the others.
The others looked at each other in thought before they all nodded in agreement before looking at the Garma-Twins, who were each quiet as Lydie looked down before she nodded while Lloyd looked over the railing as he looked at the picture of their family as he had a different plan in mind.
Back at Kryptarium Prison, Garmadon is sparring with some of the biker gangs as they were each tossed around in the courtyard as Hutchins watched.
"Good. You're strength has returned." Hutchins said as he walked up to him as the bikers groaned in pain or ran off. "But there's still so much more. All those years your father had kept the truth from you. He was afraid of what you'd become, that you would surpass him." He started as he circled around Garmadon. "The blood of both Oni and Dragon flows through you. You have the power to both create and destroy."
"Ahh." Garmadon sighed as he turned to Hutchins. "Tell me. How?" He asked in a deep voice.
"As your brother had previously taught the Ninja, you too can unlock your true potential, a dark potential," Hutchins explained as he walked around again. "But to achieve it, you must overcome the one obstacle that has always stood in your way. The two who have always held you back."
Garmadon realized what Hutchins was saying as he gave a look of understanding. "My… children." He said.
"Yes. Lloyd and Lydie. The Ninjas of Yin & Yang." Hutchins confirmed.
"Then bring them to me," Garmadon ordered.
"I won't have to. They will come to you." Hutchins said with a smirk, "Or at least, one will come and the other shall follow."
Back on the Bounty Lydie was on the bridge, looking at the sky in the distance while in deep thought, looking at her picture of her and her family together as she looked at her own hands for what she almost did to Lloyd.
"We never had a fight like that before," Lydie said to herself as her hands shook. "Why did I do that? I know Lloyd was being stupid but, oh what am I saying, I probably would've said the same thing, this is our father for crying out loud! He's just as important as Ninjago but we can't risk saving him with losing our whole world!" She said before slumping with a dull look, "Great, now I'm talking myself."
She sighed and turned to the screen, and noticed something, "Hmm, that's odd." She said walking up to the console and started typing, "Why is the navigation locked?" She said and started unlocking it.
"Oh, there you are, sis," Lloyd called out as he entered the bridge, which made Lydie surprised as she turned to her brother.
"Oh, hey Lloyd," Lydie said solemnly as she looked away. "Listen about earlier, I-"
"Never mind that. Meeting in the Barracks, Morro says he has a plan." Lloyd told her.
"Yeah. Okay. Just give me a minute." Lydie said as she tried to unlock the navigation console. "Someone locked the navigation controls." She added.
"It can wait," Lloyd said as he walked off. "Morro wanted all of us to hear the plan. He is known to not say things twice." He commented.
Lydie raised a brow before turning back to the screen, then as quickly as she could she unlocked the navigation and followed after her brother.
Lydie eventually caught up to him, "Look, bro. I'm sorry for what I did earlier, I know this is hard, but we have a duty to our home and sometimes that means making the choices we hate the most." She told her brother in sympathy.
"I get it. We can't be impulsive." Lloyd said in understanding as he turned to the barracks doors. "We don't want this to spiral into anything worse."
Lydie smiled and patted his arm, "Don't worry, I know we can save Dad, we just need to be smart." She said as she walked in and saw the others waiting for her.
"Ah, there you are, Captain." Kai said, walking up to her, "So what's your plan?"
"My plan?" Lydie asked in confusion as Lloyd backed away. "I don't have a plan, Lloyd told me Morro was the one…?" She trailed off before she went wide-eyed in realization as she gasped before her brother kicked her in the back to the floor and she turned just in time to see him closing the door and locking it. "What the!?" Lydie exclaimed in shock.
"Lloyd, what are you doing?!" Nya asked as they all rushed to the door.
"I'm sorry, guys," Lloyd spoke through the door as he looked through the window. "I have to confront him. I have to face him, alone." He told them.
"No, you can't!" Cole called out.
"Come on, Lloyd. It could be a trap!" Kai pointed out.
"More like totally is a trap!" Demir corrected.
"Yeah, and hey, we can talk it over!" Jay called out. "We'll figure it out!"
"Please, listen to reason, Lloyd!" Pixal pleaded.
"I'm sorry, guys. It's something I have to do alone." Lloyd said as he turned away from them.
"Lloyd, you can't face him alone!" Lydie shouted as she banged on the door while the others yelled to talk him out of it as Lloyd walked off as the others tried to bust the door open.
Lloyd went to the bridges he pressed some buttons as he called in his vehicle as it was in Ninjago City before it turned on and drove to their location as Lloyd saw his ride moving.
"You don't have to do this!" Morro spoke through the radio.
"You're playing into their hands!" Skylor called out.
"What would Wu do?!" Jay questioned.
"You can't do this alone!" Rose told him.
"Lloyd, this isn't you…" Harumi tried to say before Lloyd turned off the radio.
Lloyd went to the weapons rack as he look at the weapons of his choosing before he saw his green parachute as he put it on and looked at the picture of him and his family as he put it away and ran up to the railing before giving the Bounty one last look as he puts on his mask and ran and jump off the Bounty.
Lloyd opened his chute as he slowly descended to the ground and his car came into view, he landed in it and drove off.
The Ninja are still trying to kick the door as they were having trouble. "Stand back, guys!" Cole said as he brought out his earth punch and punched the door as it broke.
"Come on! To the bridge!" Lydie shouted as they all ran up to the bridge and turned to the screen.
"Where's he going?" Harumi asked in worry.
Cole typed on the screen and saw Lloyd's signal, "He's in his car and heading for Kryptarium!" He said as they saw the route to Kryptarium.
Lydie then changed the course, thankful she unlocked the navigation. "Kai, take the wheel! Morro boosts our wind speed! We need to get there, go, go, go!" She ordered as everyone took their stations as the Bounty turned and followed after Lloyd.
On the road, Lloyd is driving with determination towards Kryptarium, not noticing Luke hiding behind a rock, "The Gold Ninja's coming," He radioed back before He saw the Destiny's Bounty flying over, "And the rest are lagging behind."
"No matter, all is going according to plan," Hutchins told him.
In Lloyd's car, the others then appeared on his screen. "Don't do this!" Nya pleaded.
"Lloyd, if you're doing this, at least let us help!" Seliel told him.
"I'm not in the mood to talk!" Lloyd cut them off. "This ends now!"
"No, Lloyd, this doesn't end now," Jay said as he moved closer to the screen. "It's a two-way frequency. Come on, buddy." He pleaded.
"We're flying above you right now, just stop driving and get back on board," Morro ordered.
Lloyd responded by punching the screen, "You can't get rid of us that easily." Kai said through the audio as Lloyd punched the screen, disabling all contact with the others.
On the Bounty, Lydie growled in annoyance, "Okay, that's it! Fly us as low as you can!" She told Kai, "Once close enough we can-"
"Um, guys?" Jay cut her off as they turned to him pointing down and they looked to see Lloyd had stopped and aimed his car's blasters at them.
They all looked shocked, "He wouldn't!" Seliel said.
Lloyd's car then aimed at the sails as it blasted them, creating multiple holes, causing the bounty to jostle slightly, "He would!" Demir shouted as they all held on tight.
With the others halted Lloyd continued his way to Kryptarium. Once he arrived, he then blasted through the wall with missiles and stopped right at the entrance as Lloyd hopped out of his car and looked around as he yelled out.
"Father!? Come out and face me!" Lloyd yelled as a camera was facing him.
In the camera room, Hutchins and his top generals are watching Lloyd rush into the prison. "Do you want us to deal with him?" Ultra Violet asked Hutchins.
"No." Hutchins shook his head as he had another idea and turned to Killow, "Are these Cameras on an isolated channel?" He asked.
"They don't have to be," Killow answered.
"Then broadcast it to every corner of Ninjago!" Hutchins ordered as he smirked, "Let the people see what happens when they place their faith in children."
Killow and Ultra Violet then worked the cameras, making everything seen worldwide.
Everywhere from Stiix to Ninjago City, every man, woman, and Serpentine saw on every TV Lloyd walking through the halls of Kryptarium with his guard up.
Ronin was in his pawn shop, eating a bagel when he noticed the TV, "Lloyd?" He said in surprise.
In the Serpentine Village Burmesia and the Serpentine saw it too, "What isss thisss?" She asked as Skales came up to her.
"It'sss on all channelsss, my Queen." He told her as they looked on in wonder.
In Dareth's apartment, Misako saw her son in the hallways as she stood up. "Son?" She asked in worry as Wu watched in concern as well. "Oh no. Don't tell me." She trailed off as she realized Lloyd's plan.
In the streets, the people looked on in confusion and concern at the screen, while from a rooftop, Pythor and Rodrigo were watching as well, "Interesssting." Pythor said in intrigue.
In the Bounty, the others are a little behind as the ship was slowing down a bit but they were able to get the ship stable, "Lloyd just shot us." Harumi said in shock and hurt.
"Don't be hurt. He thinks he can turn his father and wants us out of the way. So he slowed us down." Morro assured as he placed a comforting hand on Harumi's shoulder. "The bounty can't fly like this for long, let's land and use the bikes from here."
The others nodded before the screen on the monitor and Saw Lloyd, "Hey, what's with Lloyd on the TV?" Cole wondered.
"Hutchins, he wants us to see." Rose realized.
Jay looked worried, "Almost like he knew Lloyd would try to save his father." he said.
"That's because he did know!" Nya spoke in shock. "He's using Lloyd's feelings to defeat him."
"He's lured Lloyd into a trap!" Lydie exclaimed in horror as she jumped from the Bounty and freefall, which made the others shocked. "Come on! We have to save him!" She called to others.
"Lydie are you nuts?!" Morro exclaimed.
"In saving my brother? Yes!" Lydie answered.
Cole looked to his friends, "Well, you heard the Captain." He said, grabbing his hammer and rushing to the edge, "Look out below!" He yelled before jumping.
"Right behind you Cole!" Skylor called jumping after him.
"Hey! Wait for us!" Jay called as he and Nya leaped off the bounty too.
Zane turned to Pixal, "After you, Pixal." He said politely.
"How kind of you," Pixal said as they both jumped next.
"Can't let 'em go alone!" Demir stated as he and Rose jumped next, "Heads up Garmadons!" He yelled.
Kai, Seliel, Morro, and Harumi looked at each other before shrugging, "Yaahh!/Charge!/Make way!/Geronimo!" They all called as they dove after their friends.
In Kryptarium Prison, Lloyd ran into the hallways as he entered the main cell room he looked around and the door closed behind him as he heard heavy breathing.
"It was foolish to come here." Garmadon's voice called out in a bit strained, which Lloyd recognized as he summoned his powers.
"Show yourself, father!" Lloyd dared as he then turned behind him.
Coming from another room was Garmadon, black skin with flesh torn off in areas, the right eye blood red, and the left just an empty pit with a purple light for a pupil and the flesh of the right of his face was gone, revealing his jaw and fanged teeth. His four arms had some fingers merely bone, his armor broken slightly, exposing his rib cage with some purple blood dripping from it, a tattered purple cape on his back matching the sash on his waist, and on his head a new dark helmet with one broken horn.
"You… You've changed." Garmadon said, noticing his son's appearance has changed.
"So have you," Lloyd said once he saw his father's undead appearance. "I'm not going to fight you." He said as he stopped using his powers.
Garmadon then jumped at Lloyd and slammed his fists down hard, sending Lloyd back. Lloyd righted himself as Garmadon charged again and swung his fist at him as he jumped to an upper level.
"Please! This isn't you!" Lloyd pleaded.
"This is the new me!" Garmadon growled as the cameras captured everything just as Hutchins wanted. Garmadon then built up dark energy in his hands.
"You have dark power," Lloyd said in shock.
"Where do you think your sister got her powers from!?" Garmadon roared as he fired a dark blast at Lloyd, who dodged them multiple times as Lloyd flipped behind him.
"I didn't come to fight you." Lloyd tried to reason as Garmadon breathed heavily. "My father is somewhere in there. I've saved you once." He said as everyone in Ninjago watched the fight between father and son.
"I'll save you again." Lloyd finished as in Ninjago City and every television all over Ninja are watching the battle while Ronin watched in shock, Burmesia was watching nervously with the other Serpentine, and Misako watched in great agony at her husband and son fighting each other again.
"There is nothing left to save!" Garmadon roared as he charged at Lloyd, who dodged as he hit the pillar tower as Lloyd turned to his father. "I've played many roles." He said as he fired at Lloyd, which hit him but he used his power to shield himself from the blast, but it still hurt as he blasted back, but Garmadon was unfazed as the holes in his flesh shrank slightly. "Worn many titles: Son." Garmadon started as he blasted Lloyd again.
"Student. Father. Husband. Brother. Master. Friend." Garmadon listed as with every word he blasted Lloyd again and again as he stalked towards him, "But on this day, Ninjago shall call me by one name…" He stated as Lloyd tried to run, but Garmadon blasted him again and Lloyd was hit into a cell. "Lord Garmadon!" He declared with an evil smirk.
Lloyd then got up as he ran out of the cell and started fighting his father in hand-to-hand combat. As two Garmadons exchanged blows, Garmadon's wounds slowly started to heal as a dark aura surrounded him.
Just a few miles off the prison, the other Ninja were running as fast they could as they watched the fight on Lydie's phone.
"Um, is it just me, or is Garmadon looking a lot less like a Zombie suddenly?" Jay asked as they ran next to Lydie.
"His dark element, the more they fight, the more father heals himself!" Lydie called out in shock. "He's absorbing Lloyd's energy, making it his own!"
"Okay, that's bad!" Kai shouted.
"Talk about rejuvenation." Demir commented.
"We gotta hurry, move it!" Harumi shouted as they ran faster.
In the camera room, Hutchins and the Generals are watching the fight as Hutchins notices Garmadon is lighting up in dark purple energy.
"It's the fight that fuels him," Hutchins spoke with a smirk. "He's finding it-his true potential." He said sinisterly.
Lloyd kept blocking his father's blows as Garmadon was nearly healed as his skin and flesh were slowly restoring themselves while he felt weaker. "Listen to me! You don't have to do this! Hutchins is using you as a puppet!" He called out.
"You are the puppet! A puppet to your own foolish hopes!" Garmadon retorted as he punched his son many times before he tossed him as Lloyd burst through a wall and into the locker room as he coughed and groaned as he slowly got up.
Across Ninjago, the people all gasped in shock as Lloyd was getting rag-dolled and feared he was going to lose while Pythor narrowed his eyes.
"Come on Lloyd. You can do it!" Ronin encouraged the boy.
Bermesia clenched her fists with a determined look, "Ssstand up, Lloyd! Ssstand!" She ordered her friend.
Misako looked at the screen tearfully, "Lloyd. Garmadon, please! Don't do this to each other!" She pleaded as Wu went up to her and hugged her legs in comfort.
Garmadon jumped through the hole as Lloyd slowly got up, but was weakened as Garmadon only had a few holes left as the two charged up their powers as they fired at each other, but they simply canceled each other out.
Garmadon gave a yell as he charged at his son as he beat up and made him hit the wall as Lloyd tried to punch back, but Garmadon grabbed his arms and the two hit each other with their powers again, but Lloyd skidded back to the cell room as he gave a yell and turned to his father as he panted and his gi damaged while the gold of his eyes dimmed slightly.
Garmadon came out of the hole as his face, flesh, armor, and helmet were restored, making him look even more terrifying. Garmadon growled at Lloyd, Lloyd stood up and looked away a bit before he gave a determined expression as he lit his hands up with golden energy.
Garmadon lit himself up and he growled at his son as the two Garmadons charged at each other as they clashed, punched, kicked, and blasted with everything they had. But while Garmadon barely felt anything, Lloyd was talking blow after blow as he felt like something was draining him of his strength.
Garmadon pushed Lloyd back as the Golden Ninja got his balance and dodged his father from trying to stomp on him before Garmadon ran at incredible speed and punched his son many times, which made Lloyd even more weaken as he tossed him across the room as Lloyd gave a yell as he quickly stood up.
Garmadon then started launching rocks at Lloyd, as he managed to dodge or deflect some but the rest managed to hit him. He then stood there panting tiredly, "Hmhm, you certainly have great strength of will, I give you credit for that." Garmadon mocked.
Lloyd glared hard before lighting his hands one more time and then bringing them together as he charged up all the power he had and then with one loud yell, he blasted a powerful beam that sent Garmadon flying into a wall with a loud crash and a cloud of dust and smoke.
The People of Ninjago all cheered as they saw Lloyd panting and holding his knees from that.
Ronin smirked, "Nice job, kid." He complimented.
"Direct hit!" Burmesia declared as the Serpentine cheered.
Dareth had joined Misako as he wiped his brow, "That was way too much action for me," He said tiredly as they watched Lloyd turn away, "Looks like Garmadon's finally down for the count."
But then, Misako yelled in horror as Wu gasped in fear.
"Oh no!" Dareth cried in shock.
Lloyd turned his back and started to walk away weakly, "I'm sorry father, I didn't have a-" He stopped as he heard the sound of footsteps and slowly turned with a horrified expression as walking out of the cloud was Garmadon, completely unharmed, "I-Impossible." Lloyd muttered.
Garmadon laughed, "Bravo Lloyd, a truly impressive display of power. But not impressive enough!" He mocked before smirking at him, "Here, allow me to show you, what true power is!" He then brought out his four hands and charged up his own power.
Lloyd backed away as the Ninja rushed into the halls, "Come on! Come on! Come on!" Lydie urged her friends as she prayed to her grandfather they weren't too late.
"DIE!" Garmadon roared and fired an even more powerful beam of dark energy at Lloyd. The Golden Ninja tried to bring up his shield but it was too late as he screamed in pain as the beam blasted right over him.
Once Garmadon stopped, and the smoke cleared Lloyd was still standing but covered in black burn marks, the top part of his gi completely incinerated. Lloyd then fell to his knees and then completely collapsed on the ground.
"LLOYD!" Misako screamed as Dareth gasped in shock.
"Oh man," Ronin muttered as he took his hat off.
"No!" Brumesia yelled out as the Serpentine gasped.
All across Ninjago everyone was deathly silent as they watched their greatest hero had been defeated, Pythor was stunned before bowing his head and slithering off.
Garmadon slowly walked up to his son and grabbed Lloyd by the neck and lifted him to his eye level, "You wouldn't hurt me," Lloyd mumbled as he looked into his father's eyes tearfully, "Your son."
Garmadon simply narrowed his eyes and brought Lloyd closer, "A weakling like you could never be my son." He said heartlessly as Lloyd looked at him heartbroken, "And now, allow me to put you out of your misery." He said as he pulled his fist ready to deliver the final blow.
"LET HIM GO!" Lydie's voice roared as a beam of darkness hit Garmadon, which actually made him yell in pain as he was blasted back and dropped Lloyd as he hit the floor while Garmadon was blasted through the wall and under a pile of rubble.
Charging into the room was the Ninja as they saw Lloyd, "Lloyd!" Harumi screamed and ran to him and lifted him up, "Nonono! Not again, please!" She begged, holding him close as the others gathered around her.
"Lloyd! Wake up!" Lydie pleaded, shaking her brother.
"Lloyd, come on buddy! Speak to us!" Kai shouted.
"Hey, Lloyd! Come on man! Snap out of it!" Cole urged.
"Open your eyes and tell us your okay!" Demir told him.
Lloyd coughed as he cracked his eyes open and looked at his friends, "Guys…You, you came?" He moaned in pain.
"Of course we did!" Nya told him.
"We made a promise that we'd always be there for each other!" Jay reminded him.
"Even if you are a hard-headed idiot," Morro added with a relieved smile.
Lloyd gasped and grunted in pain as Zane scanned him, "He has suffered many external and internal injuries. His elemental levels are critically low and his heartbeat is slowly declining." He said grimly.
The others gasped in worry as Lloyd coughed again. "He needs a hospital!" Rose called out.
Then they heard rocks shifting as Garmadon dug himself out and glared at them, "You, you all have changed." He growled.
The Ninja growled in hate at Garmadon and pulled out their weapons, "Stay back!" Kai warned before they saw Hutchins and the rest of the S.O.G appearing.
"Ninja, so glad you could join us." Hutchins taunted as they stood beside Garmadon. "You are just in time, for the end."
Lydie glared at Hutchins before looking at her brother, "We don't have time for this." She told the others, "Lloyd is a hundred times more important than these creeps."
The others hated to admit it but knew that to be true, "She's right, we'll get 'em another time." Cole said, putting his hammer away as he and Morro lifted Lloyd onto their shoulders.
Lydie turned to Harumi as she gave a hateful glare at Hutchins and Garmadon, "Believe me Harumi, I want to rip them apart just as much as you," She said in full honesty as Harumi didn't even glance at her, "But we have to go, now." She said.
Harumi knew Lydie was right, and still glared at Hutchins harder than ever, "You are going to pay, for EVERYTHING you've done!" She vowed with all the hate and venom she had.
"Rose, give us an exit," Demir ordered as they all grouped together.
Rose nodded then brought a smoke flower bomb as she glared at the S.O.G, "This isn't over." She promised before throwing the bomb down and the Ninja disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
"I hate it when they do that!" Killow called out as they coughed and looked around.
Garmadon growled as Hutchins placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, my lord. You will face them again. Now it's time to show all of Ninjago, who is the weak and who is the strong."
Garmadon panted before smirking, "Yes, and now the time has come to remind the pitiful world, who its TRUE master is!" He declared as laughed loudly and evilly at his first victory.
Even on the Bounty as they flew away, the Ninja heard Garmadon's horrible laugh and knew the worst was coming.
Cole and Morro carefully laid Lloyd on the infirmary bed as Pixal, Zane, Rose, and Skylor brought out all the medical supplies they had.
Lloyd moaned as he looked at Harumi weakly, "Shh-shh, don't talk. Save your strength." She whispered soothingly.
"Father…" Lloyd moaned as he held up his family picture before it fell from his grip and Lydie quickly caught it.
The Garmadon girl looked down at her brother in worry, not even caring about saying 'I told you so', "I'm sorry, Lloyd. But I think this proves that…our father is gone." Lydie told her brother regretfully.
Lloyd turned to his sister as he weakly looked at her. "I'm… Sorry…" He moaned as Lydie placed a finger on her brother's lips.
"It's okay, brother. I would've done the same in your shoes." Lydie said softly as tears were falling from her eyes. "Just rest. We're gonna get you help." She said.
"Thank…you." Lloyd breathed out as his eyes closed and slumped down.
The others gasped in horror, "No." Rose whispered in tears.
Skylor then looked to Zane, "Is he…?" She asked in dread.
Zane quickly scanned him as he checked his vitals. "No. He's alive, but his vitals are dropping." He said as he turned to the others. "I'm going to need everyone's help to stabilize his condition."
"Just tell us what you need us to do Tin-man," Morro answered.
Before long everyone was doing their best to help Lloyd while Harumi held his hand. During the operation, Lydie's phone started ringing.
Lydie picked up her phone as she saw the contact. "It's mom." She said as the others nodded as she answered it. "Mother?" She asked.
"Lydie! Please, please tell me your brother is okay!" Misako pleaded through the phone in great worry.
Lydie looked uncomfortable but answered, "We have him. But he's in really bad shape. We're headed to your location, but-" She stopped as she took a breath as tears were falling. "...but we don't know what to do. It's like- it's like his life force is fading from fighting dad." She said as her hands shook in anxiety and sadness as Misako stood quiet for a moment.
Lyide was about to hang up, but then her mother spoke. "I know where to take him." She said, which made Lydie go wide-eyed in hope.
"Where, Mom? Please tell us!" Lydie pleaded desperately.
"Mystake's tea shop. Wu drew pictures of her tea cup sign, he must be trying to tell me that Mystake can help Lloyd." Misako instructed.
Lydie turned to the others to hear what they thought, "When has Wu ever led us astray?" Jay said sarcastically.
"He's right," Lydie said firmly as she turned back to her phone. "Thanks, Mom. We're heading there now! We'll keep you posted. And please be careful. Lord Garmadon might come for Wu and you next." She warned.
Misako didn't speak back for a moment before she answered, "We will, keep your brother safe sweetie, I love you."
"I Love you too," Lydie said as she ended the call and turned to the others looking at her. "What?" She asked.
"Um, since when do you call your father Lord Garmadon?" Kai asked.
"That monster is not my father, not anymore," Lydie said in a firm and venom-filled tone as she turned to Nya. "Nya, set course for Mystake's tea shop! Maximum speed! Now!" She ordered.
"Already on it!" Nya said as she rushed out of the infirmary and Lydie turned to the others.
"The rest of you, keep Lloyd stabilized until then. He needs us." Lydie said as she walked up to her brother as Lloyd groaned unconsciously as Harumi and Lydie held his hands in comfort.
"Okay, Captain. We're on it." Cole said as they listened to what Zane had to say to keep Lloyd stabilized as Lydie placed a wet cloth on Lloyd's forehead.
"Hang in there, Hero Boy. We're going to get you help." Harumi promised while thunder crashed and banged outside.
Seliel looked up, "Looks like a storm's coming." She said as the thunder and lightning crashed around the Bounty.
"No, it's already here," Lydie said forebodingly, getting a gut feeling the worst was yet to come.
