In a village far from the city, the Sons of Garmadon surrounded it while a mother and daughter looked at them with concern.
A man was preparing himself for a fight as he adjusted his helmet, but it fell off before the woman, who was his wife, picked it up and put it back on the man before she and their daughter hugged him before he rushed to face the S.O.G. "We are good people. We have nothing to give you. Please, leave us in peace," He pleaded to them with his sword up.
"Your village is surrounded," Hutchin said with a smirk as Garmadon walked up with his arms behind his back. "Kneel before your new emperor."
"We will never kneel." The man said while holding his shook, as it shook on his grip. "Our people have already taken up arms. We will fight, if need be."
This made Garmadon growled as he cracked his neck. "Taken up arms?" He questioned as he raised his four arms while the man backed away a bit, but Hutchin stopped him before he could do anything.
"These people know not of your power my Lord," Hutchins told the corrupted savior, "Show them, show all of Ninjago to kneel before you," He suggested as Garmadon focused his powers, as rocks, stones and boulders around the area began to float upwards and fit together.
The man watched in horror as the rocks came together to form a shape that looked like something with a rice/rock hat, and the people of the village looked in horror. Once it was finished, Garmadon growled at the man.
"Please… forgive us, Emperor Garmadon." The man said in fear as he kneeled down as Garmadon nodded while the S.O.G. smirked.
In Ninjago City at dusk, the Bounty stopped just above Mystake's Teashop before the Ninja lowered themselves down the Gurney and rushed into the shop, with Cole and Demir carrying the badly injured Lloyd, "Mystake? Mystake, we need help!" Lydie called in urgency, "Lloyd is-"
"Set him down, quickly." Mystake interrupted her, walking into the main room.
"Wait, you already knew he was like this?" Seliel questioned as Cole and Demir set him down on the table while they used a jacket for his pillow.
"Your mother sent word to me when she called. I have just the remedy." Mystake said as she looked over Lloyd as he mumbled to himself with a frightened look.
"What's happening to him?" Harumi asked in worry.
"The power of his father has infected his body, the power of the Oni clashes fiercely with his power of the Dragon, for dominion of his body," Mystake explained grimly, "Should it continue he will not survive."
"Can you help him?" Rose asked her as they all looked worried.
Mystake nodded as she went to her kitchen to begin work. A few minutes passed as the heroes stood around their injured friend, "No, I-I can't. H-He's, he's too much. I can't-Please." Lloyd muttered fearfully as Harumi put a wet rag over Lloyd's head.
"He's hallucinating," Pixal said in concern.
Harumi leaned close to Lloyd, "Shh, it's okay, I'm here. Just calm down, it's okay." She whispered comfortingly, running her fingers through Lloyd's hair.
"Hurry, he's getting worse!" Jay exclaimed to Mystake, who put in the final touches on her tea and walked up.
"You cannot hurry tea." Mystake said to them. "Only have patience to get it right." She said as she walked up in front of Lloyd. "It is ready."
"Is it going to make my brother better?" Lydie asked desperately.
"It will heal his wounds, but…" Mystake started.
"But, what?" Nya asked as Kai sighed.
"There's always a 'but'." Kai complained.
"It comes with a price." Mystake said to them.
"Whatever it is, we'll pay for it." Zane said determinally.
"I will take no coin for this." Mystake said to them. "I speak of a price for you and your friend. Each of you must lay your hand upon him." She told the Ninja and Skylor, "The tea will focus your elemental powers to save him. But while it may use up all the power you nine have, it will do something else to you," She said, gesturing to Lydie.
"Uh, why are you looking at me like that?" Lydie asked with a brow. "What would happen to me?"
"The Dark energy must leave your brother's body and enter yourself as the only being who can contain it," Mystake explained before giving a serious look, "However, the Dark energy that poisons him is filled with the anger and hatred of your father, should it enter you, it could very turn you into a reflection of him," She warned.
"Are you telling us to save him, we could lose our powers and Lydie could end up like Garmadon?!" Jay questioned.
"Perhaps, perhaps not." Mystake said.
"You could've given us the details much sooner with your magical teas." Demir said with a brow as Lloyd started whimpering.
Despite the terror of becoming like her father, hearing her brother's pain made Lydie's decision clear, "Do it," She told Mystake without hesitation.
"Whoa, whoa," Morro said with his hands up, "We can't just jump into a decision like this-"
"Now, really? You wanna talk about this now?!" Kai questioned irritably.
"You're just worried about losing your power!" Harumi accused him.
"Maybe I am. Or maybe I'm not." Morro said firmly to them. "But in case you guys forgot, we all saw how powerful Lord Garmadon was. Not even Lloyd's Power of Light could stop him. And without our elemental powers on top of risking Lydie going evil, what chance do we have?"
The others looked to each other in concern, realizing Morro had a point, "Morro is correct, this decision needs to be unanimous," Zane told them.
"Well, I don't care if I turn evil or if I lose my Power of Darkness for that." Lydie said firmly as she went up to her brother's head and gently held it. "I would give up my good side to save my brother."
"In that case, I will give up my Power of Ice to save Lloyd as well," Zane said determinedly, placing his own hand on Lloyd's left leg.
"And I'll give up my Power of Fire for him," Kai said, placing his hand on Lloyd's left foot.
"Me and my Power of Lightning too," Jay jumped in, placing his own hand on Lloyd's right leg.
"It's not even a choice between him and my Power of Earth," Cole said firmly, while placing his hand on Lloyd's right foot.
"I may have gotten my Power of Amber back but for Lloyd I'd lose all over again," Skylor said, placing a hand on Lloyd's chest.
"I'd gladly sacrifice my Power of Water to save Lloyd," Nya said without hesitation, placing her hand on Lloyd's right shoulder.
"Same for my Power of Metal." Demir said as he placed his hand on Lloyd's left side hip.
"I would give my Power of Nature to save Lloyd as well." Rose said as she placed her hand on Lloyd's right side hip.
They all looked at Morro, who was still uncertain about this, but he sighed, "If losing my Power of Wind means saving him, I'll do it," He said confidently before he walked up and placed his hand on Lloyd's left shoulder.
Mystake nodded and turned to Harumi, "Give it to him, princess," She told the girl, "It is only right you too save the one you love." She said as she gave the tea to Harumi, who nodded.
"Thank you." Harumi said as she turned to Lydie and nodded to her. Lydie gently lifted Lloyd's head up as Lloyd drank the tea Harumi was giving him as Pixal and Seliel watched.
After Lloyd drank it, the Ninja then felt their powers being activated and entering Lloyd's body as the spots they were touching glowed with their elemental colors. Lloyd started grunting and groaning in pain as he felt a surge of power going through him as his eyes glowed golden.
Lydie then started groaning as they saw some purple energy leaving Lloyd and entering her as her eyes glowed purple. They all looked on in desperation and worry. After a few moments, the glowing stopped as Lloyd's eyes stopped glowing golden completely, turning maroon, while Lydie's eyes stopped glowing as Lloyd fell unconscious and Lydie started panting in exhaustion from the surge of energy that entered her.
The others stood back in concern, wondering what happened, "Captain?" Cole asked hopefully.
Lydie looked up at her friends with a tired look. "I'm fine. Just… tired from that dark energy." She said to them.
The others looked relieved before turning to Lloyd in concern, "Is he…" Rose asked in concern.
"He will live," Mystake assured, making them relax, "For now, all we can do is wait," She said before walking back to her kitchen.
The Ninja looked to Lloyd in hope while Harumi walked over to him and leaned close to his face, brushing some hair out of his face, "Be strong Lloyd, for me." She whispered pleadfully, hoping that Lloyd would hear her.
Few hours passed and there was no change from Lloyd. Harumi tended to him constantly, holding his hand and wiping his head with a cloth, "Well, his fever has gone down," She said optimistically to the others who were standing or sitting around, looking slightly anxious while Mystake was humming in the back and Pixal and Seilel left to prepare.
"That's something," Demir said before looking to his hand and focusing his powers, as his hand turned to metal and he clenched it, before turning to the others, "You guys feel anything?" He asked.
Kai focused his powers and lit his hand up in a small flame, Jay had some sparks between his fingers, Zane created some flakes of Ice, Cole stomped his foot, raising some pebbles, Nya created a small water bubble, Morro swirled some wind around him, Rose made a small plant grow and Skylor touched Kai and created her own flame, "Yeah, at least we have our powers." Nya said to them.
"Yeah. But is it enough?" Kai asked hopefully.
"It always is." Nya said to her brother.
"But what if it's not?" Kai questioned again.
"Ninja never quit." Nya said optimistically.
"Ninja don't last forever." Kai said hopelessly, which caught his sister surprised by that.
"Whatever happens, we fight on." Nya declared.
Morro sighed and looked at Lydie, "What about you? Feel any evil tendencies come up?" He asked the Purple Ninja.
Lydie looked at her hands as she summoned some power. "Well, no evil thoughts so far. At least, not yet." She said in concern before looking to her friends, "Guys, I need you to promise me something. If, if I do end up going evil, if it looks like I'll become the next Lord Garmadon I need you to-"
"Of course, we'll do whatever it takes to save you," Rose told her confidently.
"What? No! I'm asking you guys to ki-" Lydie tried to tell them.
"No way. We're not giving up on you that easily, Captain," Cole told her with a smile, "When one of us is down the rest of us pick them up."
"And we're a team, we stick together, no matter what." Jay added with a smile. "So if you do go bad, we'll be there to pull you back on the side of good," He promised as the others nodded in agreement.
Lydie gave a grateful smile at her friends' words. "Thanks, guys."
Mystake was still in the kitching humming as Jay sighed. "What could possibly be so important that you have to do that now?" The Lightning Ninja questioned in annoyance.
"Just a little something-" Mystake started with giggles. "-to go." She said as Jay turned to Cole, who shrugged in confusion as Mystake came out with a bag of tea leaves.
"What is this, takeout?" Cole questioned as Mystake gave it to Jay.
"For your time of need." Mystake said with a smile. "Remember to go." She said.
"To go." Jay repeated with a smile and a chuckle as he accepted the bag.
"To go." Mystake said mysteriously as she walked out while Jay gave a whistle and moved a finger around his head of how nuts she is.
But then, rumbling sounds can be heard as the entire shop shook and Mystake came back out. "What is that?" Skylor questioned as the shop shook again and they rushed outside.
Once they were outside, they saw people screaming and running away as Lydie then grabbed a man and got his attention. "What is it? What happened?" Lydie asked in worry.
"If you see it, run!" The man said to her as he ran off as the Ninja turned and felt the shake while also seeing smoke coming from the otherside of a sound of a building collapsing.
"What could do that?!" Demir exclaimed.
"Only a creature of great size and strength." Zane said before they turned and saw another building coming down as they looked in shock.
"Come on! We have to stop that thing!" Lydie exclaimed.
"What about Lloyd?" Harumi asked in concern.
"He's too weak to move or to fight." Lydie said to her. "It will just be the nine of us." She said before Pixal came flying by in her Samurai X mech with Seliel riding on her shoulder.
"Don't forget us," Pixal told them.
"You boys and Skylor, go," Nya told Zane, Cole, Jay and Kai, "The rest of us will stay here and watch over Lloyd,"
The boys and Skylor nodded as they ran off to where the chaos was starting with Pixal and Seliel behind them. They ran down the streets and saw some rumble and crushed vehicles around before they heard the sounds of footsteps stomping as they turned and saw a giant stone like creature with glowing purple highlights, much to their shock.
"We need to stop it before anyone is hurt!" Zane exclaimed.
"We're losing it!" Kai shouted as he then climbed up to the roof as the clothes followed as they then ran on rooftops while Pixal and Seliel took to the air and provided paths for them to jump to other buildings when Jay nearly fell but got back up.
In another part of the city, the Commissioner and his men were standing by as they saw two cars being thrown by the approaching creature while it's shadow fell over them, "Give it everything we got!" The Commissioner ordered his men before he saw a massive stone foot raised over them. They ran from it as the foot stomped down on their cars and the Commissioner gasped in shock.
"Sweet, Garma-Geddon!" Jay exclaimed as the Ninja saw the creature was giant stone titan with a rock rice hat and glowing with dark power. It then raised its foot over the Commissioner with it's intention to stomp.
The Commissioner whimpered while waiting for the crush, but it never came as it stopped midway over him and the other police forces as he stood up. "W-What happened?" He asked in confusion.
"I believe you mean, what happens next?" Hutchins questioned from another rooftop as Garmadon walked next to him.
"Kneel! Or I will raze your city back into the dust from which it came." Garmadon growled as the Commissioner and the Police Forces all started kneeling.
"Not so fast!" Kai yelled out, which got everyone's attention as they turned and saw the Ninja on the rooftop.
"Not so fast?" Jay questioned Kai, having heard that line before from the others when he had his first date with Nya. "That's our big entrance? You used that ages ago. After all these battles, all this time, you couldn't come up with something better?!" He questioned.
"Look, I'm sorry if I'm distracted by that rocky thing!" Kai snapped as the Colossus then turned to them.
"Um, Kai? I think he heard you," Skylor said nervously.
The Colossus then raised it fist and slammed it down on the building, the others quickly avoided it as part of the building fell, but Jay screamed as he fell down and grabbed hold of the edge. "Whoa! No, no, no, no! Whoa! Whoa!" He called as he fell more, but then an ice slide formed and caught him and gently guided him down to he ground as Zane slid down to him. "Thanks." He thanked as they turned to the Colossus raised it's hand again as Pixal and Seliel flew around it.
In a building, a man was using the bathroom and reading a newspaper before the Colossus destroyed the wall, causing him to yell in fright. The Colossus went by as he saw the Ninja chasing after it as Kai came up to him.
"Oh, sorry. We totally should've knocked." Kai apologized as he chased after Colossus as the man looked in shock at what just occurred.
On the ground, Cole had the Colossus following as he went up to the bridge and used his Earth Punch to slam down on the ground as he ran to the otherside just as the Colossus stepped on the bridge, but it broke apart and made him trip and got caught on some wires.
Jay saw this and then used his powers to make the wires zap the Colossus hard. After the shocks stopped, the Colossus slumped forward but it then recovered. "He really doesn't like us now." Jay said nervously as he ran up to the roofs.
Garmadon and Hutchin watched as Hutchin gave a smirk. "They are no match for you. Their resistance will fail." He declared.
With the Ninja they are running on rooftops to avoid the Colossus's wrath.
Back at Mystake's Tea shop, Harumi was still watching Lloyd as he started mumbling and shaking his head, "Lloyd?" Harumi said hopefully as she held his hand, "Come on Lloyd, just follow my voice, I know you can hear me." She pleaded to him as Lloyd seemed to be struggling to wake up.
In Lloyd's mind he saw the Colossus stomping across Ninjago City and he saw his father searching the buildings, "Where are you Wu, Misako?! Where are you?!" Garmadon demanded.
Lloyd panted anxiously, unsure what to make of this, "Lloyd, Lloyd," He heard a familiar sweet voice calling out to him.
"Rumi?" Lloyd said as he turned to see a bright white light across the street.
"Follow my voice Lloyd, return to me," Harumi's voice called to him from the light.
Listening to the voice, Lloyd ran towards the light, "Lloyd. Lloyd. Lloyd!" Harumi continued to call as Lloyd was blinded by the light.
"Rumi!" Lloyd gasped as his eyes snapped open, surprising Harumi.
"Lloyd!" the other Ninja said in surprised as they and Mystake came in while Lloyd weakly sat up.
"Oh thank goodness!" Harumi cheered with some sobs of relief as she hugged Lloyd, burying her face in shoulder.
"It actually worked!" Mystake cheered before she gave a surprised look. "Eh. That's a first."
"Wait, what?" Morro questioned her with a brow.
"Lloyd, you're back!" Demir said in relief, "I thought you were a goner, dude!"
"We were all so worried." Rose said in relief with her hands together.
"You were lucky we managed to get there in time," Nya told him.
"You gotta chill out man, enough with the crazy solo suicide missions!" Morro stated, swiping his hand to the side. "Leaders are called leaders because they're supposed to lead a team!" He scolded.
Lloyd groaned as Harumi finally got control of herself, "Rumi, I…" Lloyd stopped himself when he saw Harumi giving him a very angry glare, "...uh," was all he could say before Harumi gave him a hard double slap to both sides of his face.
"Ooooh." The others all cringed from the hard slaps.
"That's gonna leave a mark," Lydie said with a cringing smile while Mystake just gave a small laugh, expecting this.
"Ow!" Lloyd shouted as he held his cheeks. "Geeze, you didn't have to-" He was cut off when Harumi quickly caught Lloyd in a hug as she started sobbing on his shoulder. "Rumi?"
"Y-You, you big dummy! Don't you ever scare me like that again, you hear me?!" Harumi sobbed as she hugged Lloyd tightly, "I, I don't, I can't lose you too, I can't! I already lost both sets of my parents, if, if I lost you too I'd never survive!"
Lloyd looked at Harumi for a bit and the others before he slowly hugged her back. "I-I'm sorry, Rumi. I was a fool. I promise I won't try that again." He promised.
"You better not break it. Because if you do…" Harumi started before giving a hard glare at him. "I swear upon the First Spinjitzu Master himself I'll race over there and kill you myself."
Lloyd flinched as the others watched in amusement. "I-I promise." He stammered.
"Good," Harumi then smiled and hugged Lloyd gently.
"She clearly got lessons from you two, huh?" Demir questioned Nya and Lydie with a smirk.
"Maybe." The two girls said with a smirk.
Lloyd then frowned, which the others noticed. "What is it, Lloyd?" Lydie asked.
"I had a dream of-of a giant." Lloyd said a bit uneasy. "And Father… he's looking for Wu and Mother."
"That is no dream, that is a vision." Mystake said grimly.
"Do you still have your powers?" Rose asked as Lloyd looked at his hand and tried to summon his powers, but nothing came, not even a spark.
"I don't understand. I-I can't." Lloyd said in shock. "Why I can't I-?"
"I guess when the Tea took out the Oni Power in you, your Elemental powers must've been drained too." Harumi said.
"Which apparently, weakens our powers, but yours, took too much out of you even after your fight with Garmadon," Morro commented.
"But you're alive. That's all that matters." Lydie said with a smile.
"You need to get your family before it's too late," Mystake warned.
"But without my power, I'm-I'm not the Golden Ninja," Lloyd said hopelessly.
"Don't say that." Nya said to him. "You're more than just your power."
"Father is still out there. I can't- I couldn't save him." Lloyd stated.
"We have to fight on." Rose encouraged before the tea shop shook a bit from the rumbling.
"Do you have any strength left?" Harumi asked as Lloyd groaned and got up as he nodded.
Harumi held Lloyd as the group walked out with their weapons raised. "Wait!" Mystake called out as she rushed up to them with a green cloth. "Take this with you." She said as she put it on Lloyd's back and then whispered to his ear. "You may not have power, but that was never what made you powerful. It was knowing what to do, and when to do it and who to do it with." She said with a smile, looking at Lydie.
Lydie nodded as she held Lloyd's shoulder, "You lost because you took on Lord Garmadon alone, when our real strength comes from each other," She told her brother, "Remember, nothing can hurt us, as long as we're together. And I know that together, we can save Ninjago…and our real father."
Lloyd looked at his sister as he gave a smile and nodded. "We need to hurry." Demir spoke up. "The more time we waste, the closer Garmadon is to Wu and Misako."
"They're not far. We can make it." Nya said as they nodded as they went off.
"Now go, Ninja. Go!" Mystake cheered on. "The end is not the end, but only a new beginning!"
Back with the other half of the Ninja, the Colossus was still wrecking havoc as the four Ninja were in an alleyway to catch their breaths. "We're no match for it." Zane informed them.
"Of all the things we've fought, this is the biggest!" Jay exclaimed, as the Colossus was as powerful as the Leviathan, the Preeminent and even the Great Devourer.
"We need the Bounty!" Cole stated to them.
"Go!" Skylor said as she was on Pixal's mech with Seliel. "Seliel, Pixal, and I can keep it busy!" She said as she then touched the boys and copied their powers.
"Be careful," Kai told her, holding Skylor's hand.
"Don't worry, Hotshot. I wouldn't do what you would do." Skylor teased with a smirk as Kai smiled fondly as she got on Pixal's mech as the three girls took off as Pixal fired lasers while Skylor then started shooting each of the elemental powers at it while the boys ran off while the Colossus was distracted.
Hutchin continued to watch before he heard Garmadon give a curious groan as he turned to him. "What is it?" He asked.
"I sense something…familiar," Garmadon said, as he left to investigate.
At Dareth's apartment, baby Wu and Misako watch the night city as the rain keeps pouring before Wu holds his sister-in-law's hand. "My brother is coming." Wu said to her, which made Misako worried.
"How did you know?" Misako asked.
"I know." Wu answered before Misako picked him up.
"Come on. We have to go." Misako said as she went to the door and into the hallway. But when they turned, baby Wu screamed as Misako stopped dead in her tracks when she saw her resurrected husband, who was slowly walking towards them as she held Wu close. "What has happened to you?" She asked frighteningly.
Garmadon looked at Misako carefully, feeling something itch at the back of his head, causing him to pause for a moment, he cringed a bit while grunting a bit as if he had sudden flashing in his head. He charged up his powers and launched a ball of Dark energy at them with a yell.
Misako held Wu close to brace themselves, but then Nya came in and pushed them aside to avoid the blast as Lydie, Lloyd, Morro, Demir, Harumi, and Rose came in with determined expressions. "Lloyd! Lydie!" Baby Wu cheered as Nya then gave baby Wu to Lloyd.
"Go, Lloyd, Lydie! Get him outta here!" Nya said as she drew her weapon as she, Demir, Rose, and Misako faced Garmadon. "Morro, Harumi, you go with them!"
"We'll hold him off!" Demir said as he armored up.
The other half of the group nodded as they rushed up the stairs as the first half faced Garmadon. "You sure you're up for this, Misako?" Rose asked her in concern at facing her own husband again.
"I was married to him once," Misako said with a serious look as she got into a stance. "I'm up for anything."
"What about you two?" Nya asked.
"Given that we're facing the Dark Lord himself and with powers that nearly took out Lloyd?" Demir questioned with a determined look. "We're ready."
"Besides, we have to introduce ourselves to Garmadon somehow," Rose added with a smile.
"True enough." Nya said with a smirk as the four charged at Garmadon, who was throwing punches and kicks while also exchanging blows, but Garmadon was unfazed by them as he gained the upper hand and fought them before facing Misako as the two then fought with each other.
"No wonder he was well known in Ninjago." Demir groaned, even in his metal armor, he still felt Garmadon's punches.
Soon, Garmadon grabbed Misako's legs and then tossed her across the room as she fell to the floor, which he laughed at as he walked towards her. But then Nya threw her weapon and jumped on the walls to attack Garmadon while avoiding his punches. "Guys! Get down!" She called to the others as she then used her powers on a pipe, which caused it to move as water burst out from the pipe and hit Garmadon, sending him to the end of the hallway as the four rushed out before he could recover.
On the roof, The Garma-Twins, Harumi, Morro and Wu watched as the Colossus destroyed the city. But then gasped as the Colossus saw them. "I think that thing sees us." Morro said a bit frighteningly.
"Why does Dad have a better power than me? It's not fair!" Lydie exclaimed as they tried to run off, but Hutchin jumped in front of them.
"Running will do you all no good." Hutchin said with a smirk. "Give us the child."
"Is this what you want, Hutchin?! To destroy the city, divide more families?!" Harumi exclaimed with a glare. "How many lives are you going to take in the name of your crazy goal for the perfect realm!?"
"Just think of how many others will be made like you," Lydie said with a glare. "This isn't what you want."
"Oh, no." Hutchin said with a smirk. "This is just the beginning." He said as he took out the Mask of Hatred.
"Run!" Morro called as he used his weakened wind power to push Hutchin back a bit before Lloyd picked up baby Wu and they all ran on the rooftops as Hutchin watched with a smirk before he put the mask on as he laughed sinisterly and rushed after them.
The four continued to run but then Harumi and Lydie were cut off from the boys by the S.O.G commanders, "Go, we'll catch up!" Lydie shouted as Lloyd and Morro nodded as they and baby Wu continued on. Lydie tried to use her power but then she winced and held her chest, "No, no, not now," She muttered, realizing the backlash from the energy she absorbed had come up.
"Lydie!" Harumi said in concern.
Ultra Violet and Killow laughed, "It's just you against the three of us, princess," Killow sneered.
"Where are your knights and your prince to rescue you now?" Ultra Violet mocked to Harumi.
Harumi growled as Lydie saw her fists clenched as she smirked. "Oh, you boys shouldn't have done that." Lydie said with a chuckle. "She's been holding the pain back for this long, and now she's about to open the cage."
Harumi then took Lydie's Kamayari before she gave a yell and charged at the S.O.G commanders, who gave a shocked look as Lydie watched with a smirk as she cringed and flinched when beating and punches sounds could be heard while Harumi gave inhuman yells as the commanders all screamed in pain and pleaded for mercy as Lydie looked away as the screaming and punches can be heard while also hearing some tears before everything went silent.
Lydie opened her eyes as she saw the S.O.G commanders on the ground groaning in pain with Harumi standing in the middle while looking calm as Lydie gave the Jade Princess a surprised look. "What?" Harumi asked with a shrug before she gave an innocent smile. "They had it coming."
"Harumi, I don't know whether to be impressed or feel sorry for my brother." Lydie joked with a chuckle.
"Oh, I think both would do." Harumi said with a chuckle of her own before she got serious. "But we must hurry. Hutchin is probably close to Lloyd, Wu and Morro."
"Right! Let's go!" Lydie called as they rushed off to where the two boys and baby Wu went off to.
With Morro, Lloyd and Wu, they were still running from Hutchins as they clipped a ladder and into a roof as they started climbing up a pole and onto a roof, but then Hutchins jumped over and landed in front of them.
"Gotta hand it to the guy, he got spirit." Morro commented as he summoned his weak wind power, but when Lloyd tried to use his, nothing came out. "Uh, Lloyd, you're powers." He reminded the Gold Ninja.
"Where are your powers, Master Lloyd, as your city falls?" Hutchins mocked as he stalked closer to them.
"Wind!" Morro called, blowing Hutchins back as they continued running.
They looked over a beam to another building as Lloyd held his baby uncle tight as they saw Hutchins coming closer. "Hold on." Lloyd said to his uncle as he and Morro climbed up the beam and onto the top of the roof as they looked down and saw how high they were.
"Dang it! We ran out of roofs!" Morro grunted as he hit the beam.
Hutchins then jumped behind them as the two turned to him, "The Sons of Garmadon could always use two more," Hutchins told the two, "Join us," He offered as the two boys backed up against the rail.
"Yeah, that never works." Lloyd shook his head.
"Been bad, done it. Like that's gonna stop us." Morro said with a look as he and Lloyd jumped over the railing, which shocked Hutchins as he ran to the edge and looked down as he saw the three on a lift as they took off with smirks. "Bye-bye!" Morro taunted with a wave as Hutchins growled in frustration as he ran off.
On the lift, Morro and Lloyd kept going while Lloyd held Wu close as he went to his comms. "Morro and I have Wu! Can any of you hear me?!" He called out, hoping to get a response but nothing.
"Heads up!" The boys turned to see Lydie and Harumi jump onto the lift, "Glad you three are okay, where's the bounty?" Lydie asked the boys.
"Look behind you," The four turned to see Destiny's Bounty flying beside them.
"Guys!" Harumi cheered as the others waved to them while baby Wu laughed.
"Jump!" Cole shouted to them, as they looked at their distance.
"It's too far for us to jump!" Morro called out.
"Try bringing the Bounty closer!" Lydie shouted to them.
"Get us closer!" Jay repeated to Zane as he turned and got the Bounty as close as it could while the S.O.G. followed on the ground.
"She's as close as I can get her!" Zane called out as he went over a bridge while trying to stay as close as possible.
On the buildings, Hutchins jumped from building to building as he followed the Bounty. "Careful!" Kai shouted to Zane.
"Are you actually doubting my ability to closely approximate the true value of our surroundings?" Zane questioned while feeling insulted. "I'm a nindroid."
Once the Bounty was closer Morro crouched down and jumped onto the deck, "Okay, girls, your turn!" He called.
"Hold on!" Lydie told Harumi as they jumped onto the Bounty.
"Lloyd, you're turn!" Harumi told her boyfriend.
Lloyd was about to follow, but Hutchins caught up to them as he landed on the train. "Give me the child! The emperor wants his brother." Hutchins said to him as he walked towards Lloyd.
"Lloyd! Jump! You can make it!" Lydie shouted out to her brother as he looked back and forth before he jumped.
Lloyd was about to land on the ship, but Hutchins caught him by the leg as Lloyd managed to quickly toss his baby turned uncle to them. "Catch him!" He called out to the others.
"What?" Morro gasped as he quickly reached out and grabbed his sensei, "Gotcha little master!"
"Lloyd!" Harumi called in concern as Hutchins held Lloyd up. She gave a determined glare before running and jumping clear off the deck and onto the lift and pounced on Hutchin.
The others looked in shock at what she just pulled. "She did not just-" Jay tried to say.
"She just did!" Cole finished in shock.
"Harumi!" Lydie called out in shock as Zane looked up and saw a building ahead as he quickly moved the Bounty away to avoid collision. "We have to go back for them!"
"I'll circle around!" Zane said as he turned the Bounty around back to the tracks.
Back on the lift, Harumi glared at Hutchins as he held Lloyd by the neck, "That was a very foolish move, Commoner girl," Hutchins mocked.
"I am Harumi Jade, Princess of Ninjago, and Girlfriend to Lloyd Garmadon! Now get your hands off my man!" Harumi called as she charged at Hutchins and tackled him down while letting go of Lloyd in the process.
Lloyd fell on his backside and watched as Harumi fought Hutchins as hard as she could since he's invincible and she wasn't afraid to pull her punches. Her hatred for this man burned hotter than it did for Pythor, the first person who put her through so much pain: Hutchins deceived her family, destroyed her home, killed her parents, humiliated and tortured her to break her boyfriend, turned her boyfriend's father into a monster, terrorized her people and most of all, nearly killed her Lloyd.
"Get off of me!" Hutchins snapped as he managed to kick the raging princess off him as she was sent flying and landed on Lloyd as the three looked at each other and stood up. "You shouldn't have done that." He growled as they got into stances.
They all charged at each other, and Lloyd and Harumi used their fighting skills to try to keep Hutchins at bay as the Bounty flew over them. A stone arm grabbed hold of the Bounty. It was the Colossus as it held the ship and started crushing it as Harumi and Lloyd saw this.
"NO!" Both Lloyd and Harumi shouted as Hutchins then grabbed hold of them.
"This is the end, children!" Hutchins declared as he forced the two look at their ship being crushed. "Watch to see how you lose it all." He sneered.
The Colossus poured more pressure as the Bounty was breaking apart as the rest of the Ninja started screaming as they held on. "Oh man, the ship's gonna get crushed!" Jay exclaimed to the others.
"Oh you're kidding me, we just got this thing fixed!" Cole exclaimed in exasperation.
"I can't break free from its hold!" Zane said as he held onto the wheel.
"Captain! What do we do?!" Kai asked Lydie in panic.
"I don't know! Working on it!" Lydie called out anxiously as the Bounty was getting crushed even further.
"We have to go!" Baby Wu exclaimed.
"What do you think we're trying to do!?" Morro questioned his baby-turned-sensei.
"We have to go!" Baby Wu repeated, which made Jay remember something.
"To go." Jay repeated while rubbing his chin as he remembered what Mystake told them. "For your time of need, tea to go!" He said and then gasped as he took out the bag. "I think that's why she gave us this!"
"How is Tea supposed to get us out of this jam?!" Cole questioned.
"Who cares, just open it or the only place we're going is the Departed Realm!" Lydie told Jay.
Jay then quickly opened the tea bag as blue smoke and yellow star-shaped flowers flew out from it, circling the group as they watched in awe, "Those tea leaves," Zane realized.
"That's not just any Tea that's," Cole started.
"Traveler's Tea!" Lydie finished while beaming.
Soon, the tea leaves glowed brighter around them. "Go!" Baby Wu said to them.
"Go where?" Morro questioned as the Bounty was about at it's breaking point as the tea leaves glowed brighter.
"I feel funny." Jay commented.
"What's happening?!" Kai shouted in panic.
"Brace yourselves, boys! We're going on a trip out of this world!" Lydie shouted as the light shined brighter.
Lloyd and Harumi continued watching as the Colossus finally crushed the Bounty completely in its palms. "NOO!" They both shouted in despair as they looked down in despair while Hutchins gave a satisfied tone.
"This, this is what I wanted, to see Lord Garmadon's return and for you to finally see how weak you are!" Hutchin said as he dropped the two on the roof of the lift with Lloyd on his hands and knees while Harumi held him in support, "How does it feel to see the end,"
Lloyd looked down with tears streaming down his cheeks as he looked at Harumi, who had tears falling as well before they both gave determined expressions and nodded to one another. "No." Lloyd growled as he and Harumi stood up as they wiped their faces. "I won't let your games destroy who I am."
"And I already went through that pain two times, Hutchins." Harumi said with a glare. "This isn't the end, this is just the beginning."
"Without my powers, without our friends, even without my sister, we're gonna fight you." Lloyd declared with a glare. "We're gonna fight on. Because a ninja never quits."
"Well then this, is goodbye," Hutchins said, drawing his dagger.
"Before we go, answer us this, Hutchin." Harumi started with a glare. "You said the greatest villain was the one who got away." She said, which made Hutchins tilted his head when she said his own words to him.
"Then what are we?" Lloyd finished as he and Harumi smirked, which made Hutchins realize what they were pulling as he swung his dagger at them as Lloyd grabbed hold of Harumi as they jumped off the lift.
Hutchins watched as Lloyd held Harumi before he unleashed his parachute with Wu's symbol on it as they lowered themselves to a sailor boat as Rose, Demir, Nya, Pixal, Skylor, Seilel, and Misako are on as Misako and Lloyd held each other in comfort of their loss as they sailed off.
Hutchins took off his mask as he watched them sail off similar to how Enaz did with Lloyd and Lydie for the Mask of Deception as they sailed into the tunnel and out of sight.
On Top of a ruined building, Lord Garmadon watches the chaos with glee as he gives a sinister evil smirk. "Ninjago is mine." He hissed victorious as he now had control of Ninjago.
Lydie groaned as consciousness returned to her, "Ugh, oh my head," She moaned before feeling herself being bopped by something, "Huh?" She looked up to see Baby Wu hold a miniature version of his Bamboo staff and giggled. She heard the sounds of groaning as she turned and saw the rest of the boys getting up.
Lydie got up as she looked around and saw an ocean with sand and rocks all around them as she noticed the top of her Ninja gi was torn up, with the wraps underneath covering her chest while turning to see the boys suits are scratched or ripped as well.
"What happened?" Kai asked, getting up with his left sleeve missing.
"Traveler's Tea. That stuff is unpredictable." Morro commented while rubbing his head, his left sleeve and part of his right pant leg torn off.
"Looks like we're no longer in Ninjago." Cole said with most of his shirt torn off as they looked around as they then saw half of the Bounty of the rear end was with them.
"Looks like the Traveler's Tea was enough to send half of the Bounty with us." Zane noted as his cloaking was deactivated as he had dents and scratches on his metal skin and gi.
"Then where are we?" Jay asked as his gi was mostly intact, but was dirty with a bit of scratches.
Then they heard roaring sounds as they looked up and saw a flock of dragons flying by and into the blackened sunset as they gave a roar. "Back where it all began. Before time had a name." Lydie said in awe while the boys shared her amazement, "The First Realm, home of the Oni and the Dragon." She breathes out, seeing that they were in the birthplace of her grandfather.
