A month has passed since the tribes united, and they were thriving. There were no more fights over territory or food, making this clan similar to the one they used to have.

Blu and Jewel, on the other hand, had begun prepping for their upcoming ritual, where they would be once again reunited in marriage. They couldn't be any happier as today was the day they would hold the ceremony. Per the tribes rules, the Groom and Bride were to be separated from each other for a day while they prepped themselves. Eduardo was with Felipe setting things up for the ceremony, making it extra special since Blu was the one who gave them another chance.

Currently, Blu was out with Roberto, who was helping him clean up before they began. Blu was excited to finally become one with Jewel again, to which Roberto noticed. "Can't wait can you?" He asked, dipping the tips of his wings into a golden paste he had made. This was a part of the ritual, a paste like substance would be on both the Groom and Bride. This is how they would mark each other. Blu smiled as he looked at him. "Yeah. The first time we got married was more of a human wedding when Linda got married. We had a double wedding with them. Now, I can't wait to have this wedding." Blu said moving a bit. Roberto steadied his wings and laughed. "Blu hold still. I don't want this all over me." Blu chuckled as he held his wings in place. He then looked back at him. "So, what does the gold stand for anyway? I was told that there was only yellow and red for the males and pink and green for the females." Roberto smiled as he looked back up at him and released his wings from the paste. "You will find out later on tonight. It is not my job to tell you." Although a bit confused, Blu did not push the subject any further. Roberto began to mark feathers on his wing with designs with the paste, using a leaf as to not stain his feathers.

The sun was beginning to set and it was almost time for the ceremony. Blu noticed, saying, "Well, I guess it's that time. Thank you for the help Roberto. I appreciate it.• Roberto nodded to him. "It's not a problem Blu. You helped me find the love of my life. This is the very least I could do." With that both birds began to fly off to the wedding grounds.

Upon arrival, Blu saw a crowd had begun to form, both Spix and Scarlets alike. Blu and Roberto landed towards the back, in a concealed area where he saw Tiago and Felipe. "Hey guys!" He called to them. Both of them looked up to see Roberto and Blu landing. "Wow dad you look cool." Tiago said, looking at his gold painted wings. "Thank you son." Blu said smiling down at him. Being that the paint was still wet, he didn't want to rub it onto anyone else. "Nice to see you again Blu." Felipe said. Blu smiled at him. "It's nice to see you too Felipe." Felipe walked over to Roberto and whispered something into his ear. Roberto nodded and gave him a short kiss.

A few minutes went by and the crowd began to quiet down. The males began to form a line. Blu stood in the front, followed by Tiago, Felipe, then Roberto. The vines concealing them suddenly opened, and the sight in front of him shocked Blu. There was a walkway leading between the audience up to the front, where flowers were gathered and hanging from the vines, with the sunset in the background. A tear leaked from Blu's eye, seeing something so beautiful. Eduardo stood near the front, beckoning him to come forward. Blu began to walk up the center, with the crowd watching him. Some made light gasps at seeing the gold on his wings. Blu smiled nervously, but kept going until he reached the front. Blu stood close to Eduardo on his left, with his three groomsmen behind him. Eduardo then called out, "May you all please rise for the bride." Everyone stood up straight to show respect.

Music began to play as Blu watched where they had entered. The vines were pulled back open, revealing Jewel and her bridesmaids, Carla, Bia, and Mimi. Blu stood in awe as he saw his mate. She looked absolutely stunning. Her wings had silver paint designs on them, with an orchid in her crest and small pearls all along her body. They began to walk up the isle slowly. Eduardo and Blu both smiled as she approached. She stood to the right of Eduardo, looking directly at Blu with a big smile on her face.

Eduardo began the ceremony. "We are gathered here today to join two hearts together as one. Both to be inseparable for the rest of their lives. They have written their own vows. Jewel, would you like to start?" Jewel nodded and stepped forward. She looked into Blu's eyes. "Blu, I promise as your wife and mate to be by your side forever. I will be there for you always. I will love you forever and always. You are the only bird for me and I couldn't ask for anything more." Jewel said, with a smile on her face. She stepped back. Eduardo smiled at her and turned to Blu. "It is your turn now Blu." Blu stepped forward. "Jewel, you are my whole life. Meeting with you in Rio was a dream come true. I couldn't want anything more than to spend the rest of my life with you and the kids. You complete me and I love you so much." Jewel had a few tears of joy in her eyes as he said that. Blu stepped back as Eduardo continued. "Jewel, do you promise to love and cherish Blu's love for eternity? To be with him always?" Jewel nodded, looking into Blu's eyes. "I do." She said. Eduardo turned to Blu. "Blu, do you promise to love and cherish Jewel? To protect her through thick and thin?" Blu also nodded. "I do." He said. Eduardo smiled.

"May you both step towards each other." Blu and Jewel closed the gap between them, standing a few inches away from one another. "Blu, you may now lay our tribes marks onto Jewel." Raising a wing, Blu looked into Jewels eyes and marked a gold line down her beak, then another on her chest. Jewel then raised her wings as Blu marked her sides. Jewel smiled lovingly at Blu as he finished and stepped back. Eduardo smiled. "Daughter, it is now your turn." Jewel smiled as she stepped towards Blu. She started with Blu's sides, marking them with silver paint. Blu gave out a chuckle as he was quite ticklish there, making Jewel chuckle as well. Once finished. She moved up to his chest, laying a feather on it. She drew a small design of their chain on his chest. Blu only thought it was supposed to be lines, so seeing this made him remember their first adventure. She then proceeded to his beak, where she laid a line down it, from the top to the bottom. Blu looked at Jewel adoringly, seeing the smile on her face made his heart flutter. Jewel stepped back from Blu. "Blu. Jewel. I wish you a long, passionate, and amazing journey through the rest of your lives. You may now kiss the bride." Eduardo finished.

Both Blu and Jewel leaned in. It was like the first time in the club, where they almost had their first kiss. Only this time, they would actually get to kiss. Blu could feel his heart pounding, as Jewel could also feel the same. After what seemed like forever, Blu and Jewel locked beaks, giving each other the most passionate kiss they could experience with each other. All the birds cheered for Blu and Jewel. The Groomsmen and Bridesmaid clapped their wings together at their display of affection. Blu and Jewel never wanted this to end.

The lovebirds panted when they released from the kiss. They couldn't be any happier. "I love you so much." They said to each other. They came in for a short cuddle, being careful as not to smear the paint on each other. A few seconds went by as the crowd began to calm down. Felipe walked up next to Eduardo and nodded to him. He nodded back. "Blu, Jewel." He called. They turned to him. "We would like to congratulate you on your remarriage, but we have one more thing to do." Blu and Jewel looked at them with some confusion. Felipe began to speak. "For the last few weeks, Eduardo and I have been talking about our tribe. A tribe you helped bring back together, Blu. Eduardo and I believe that there is no need for two leaders to run this tribe." Blu looked at Felipe. "So which one of you will run the tribe?" He asked. Felipe shook his head. "I will not be running this tribe." "So then Eduardo you will be the official tribe leader?" Blu questioned again turning to his father in law. Eduardo also shook his head. "I will also be stepping down. Besides, I'm getting too old." He said chuckling. The tribe also chuckled. It was now Jewel's turn to speak. "So if both of you are stepping down, who will run the tribe?" She questioned. Felipe answered. "Before we answer that we need you two to know something. Marriages are completed using many different paint or paste colors, with the exception of two colors. However, if the marriage of a leader comes about, things are a little different. Gold and silver paint are used for a ceremony just like this." Felipe finished, waiting for them to catch on. Blu and Jewel looked at one another, seeing the silver and gold marks on their partners. They turned back to them, knowing what they were trying to tell them. Eduardo spoke, "So we figured that, if you two agreed to it, you two would run this tribe as one. Blu, you have more than proven to us that you are capable of protecting our tribe, and making split second decisions to ensure that safety. Jewel, my daughter, you are just like your mother. You take care of all of your family, and staying by their side to the best of your ability. Your amazing sense of duty, your strength in challenging times, gives me no doubt that you will make a fantastic leader." Blu and Jewel smiled. "So what do you say? Will you lead our tribe to success?" Felipe questioned.

Both lovebirds looked at each other. Although they had doubts, they knew that together, they would prosper. Through thick and thin, they have remained as a family, overcoming many obstacles. They knew they'd be great leaders. Blu turned back to Felipe and Eduardo. "We will accept your offer. We would love to run this tribe. We won't let you down." The crowd cheered again, chanting their new leaders names. The four birds gave each other hugs and wing shakes, wishing them the best of luck. All four of them turned back to the tribe as they continued to cheer.

Blu and Jewel smiled. This was their home. This was their family. And they knew one thing for sure, love will never be lost again.
