Plagg muffled his groan silently as he rolled over, trying to drown out Adrien's snores. How did Marinette sleep through that?!
Plagg slightly got up, thinking he'd raid the fridge, and come back in cheese coma. The kitchen was quiet and dim, save for the humming of the refrigerator, and Plagg phased himself into the fridge.
Sweet Kwamis, a round wheel of cheddar caught the Kwami's eye, and Plagg moved in for the bite.
"Excuse me, just what do you think your doing?"A voice beside him made him jump. Who was that voice, and where had they come from? He thought he was alone. Plagg raised his head to see a curious thing, a little doll dressed like an elf."Did Marinette make you?" Plagg asked."No, Marinette didn't make me, I'm an elf on the shelf, and she put me in here to keep an eye on you!"
Plagg's groans weren't silent now."Your telling me I have to listen to a doll?"he squawked. The elf instantly was nose to nose with Plagg. "Elf. Now, back away from the wheel, buddy."
Plagg's eyes narrowed. Just who did this helium voice elf think he was?"Don't test me, I wiped out the dinosaurs and Atlantis!"Elf seemed unfazed."And I work for Santa!""Okay, okay, I'm backing away from the wheel, but I need cheese and Adrien snores louder then a drill hammer!"
Elf winced."Oof, I can see why you came here. Here, eat this."Plagg looked at the white logged substance Elf held out."What in the Miraculous world is that?"Elf's smile was a mile wide."String cheese!"he sang, and Plagg's eyes nearly bugged out of his head."String cheese?!You mean that stuff on Princess Diaries!"Elf's eyes were closed in happiness."Yep, that's the stuff. Mia should have eaten it, but oh well."Plagg stuck out hist tongue."No thank you!"Elf shrugged."Well, its either string cheese no cheese!"
"Fine!"Plagg closed his eyes, his eyes opening in surprised happiness."Good?"Plagg nodded. The string was gone in record time, and Plagg was feeling sleepy.
Before he left, he looked back. "Your okay for an Elf on the Shelf."
Elf chuckled as Plagg zoomed away."Just doing my job!"
