Episode 7: Silver Lightning, Part 1
Somewhere Outside The City (Night)
It was late when Conner McKnight's car drove towards the limits of the city at full speed. Inside, Conner and Jake tried to get as fast as they could to the location where Gosei and Tensou saw a Space Ship crash. Gosei had called Jake as soon as he could, knowing Jake was the strongest of the Rangers. He could take a look and see what had crashed and then alert the others. But of course, Gosei didn't expect Conner to be with Jake.
And now he had two impulsive Rangers running towards danger.
"Jake… whatever you do… don't get in trouble," said Gosei through Jake's morpher.
"We only are going to take a look, and if it's dangerous, we will let the others know," said Jake.
Conner finally saw the smoke coming from the crash arena and parked the car near the Space Ship while Jake reassured Gosei. The two Rangers looked at each other before getting out of the car, ignoring Gosei, and walking slowly towards the Space Ship.
"This is… well, it's too small to have an army inside," said Conner, touching the ship.
"Yes, but that doesn't mean a monster is not inside," said Jake.
Jake touched the ship, and suddenly, a white aura engulfed him and he fell to his knees, holding his head. Conner, worried, ran to Jake and held him while Jake's head exploded with images. A planet destroyed… aliens conquering and capturing the planet… a survivor… a legendary morpher…
"Jake… Jake!" called Conner.
Jake's vision finally stopped when Conner heard a sound coming from the ship and prepared himself to protect Jake while the boy recovered. The door of the ship opened, and Conner watched as a hand appeared, pushing the door open.
Behind him, Jake started to get up, looking at the figure getting out of the ship.
"Holy…" started Conner.
"It's you…" said Jake.
They both looked at the figure while the shadow walked towards them, showing them something shining in his hand.

Alien Ship (at the same time)
Prince Vekar looked at the screen for a long moment before looking up toward Levira and Damaras, who were waiting for his reaction.
"You think he went down?" asked Prince Vekar.
"We saw his ship fall to Earth. If he survived, he has to be there," said Levira.
"Who cares? We got what we wanted, and he won't be able to survive long enough…" said Damaras.
"Enough! I want the X-borgs to find him and bring him to me! Now!" said Prince Vekar.
Damaras didn't dare to say anything else and nodded, walking away to call for the soldiers to look for the person in the Space Ship. Meanwhile, Prince Vekar went back to the screen and looked at it, furious. He had to find that pilot before he found the Rangers. He had to!

Command Center (After School)
To say the Rangers were worried was an understatement. Dino Rangers, Super Megaforce Rangers, Jason, Kat, and Kimberly reunited at the Command Center while Tensou stood beside Gosei.
"What do you mean you sent them to investigate the area where a space ship crashed, Gosei!?"
The Rangers winced in pain at the sound of Kira's voice. She may not have been using her power, but she was as close as she could get to the frequency of her scream without using it. Beside her, Gia Moran was less than happy, walking towards Gosei.
"You better pray they are okay, Gosei, because if not, God help me, I will destroy you myself," said Gia.
Emma had to grab her, pushing her back when they felt her Tiger unleash. Luckily, Gosei wasn't human, so she couldn't harm him, but that wouldn't stop her from trying.
"We received the alert of a Space Ship about to crash outside the city, and I alerted Jake because he is special… his spirits can feel things even I can't," explained Gosei. "The Red Dino Ranger was with him, and he decided to go, Kira."
"Of course, he is going to go. Conner wasn't wrong. You were," said Kira. "You should have called us too."
"We know, but there was someone on that ship, and we didn't have time," said Tensou, standing between Gia and Gosei. "Please, Rangers, don't fight now. We have to find them."
The Rangers looked at each other in silence. Tensou was right; they had to focus on finding Jake and Conner. They could discuss Gosei's alert plans later. Ethan walked towards Jake's screen and looked at Noah and Tensou.
"Okay… Tensou, can you give us their last location?" asked Ethan.
"Yes, they were…" started Tenshou.
Before he could finish his sentence, a new alarm made the Rangers look at Troy's screen, where they could see X-borgs attacking the city. The Rangers and the Dino Rangers looked at each other and nodded. They had work to do.
"Jase, you, Kat, and Kimberly coordinate with Tensou to find your son and Conner," said Tommy.
"We got this. Keep the city safe," said Kimberly.
Tommy nodded, and he ran towards his Rangers. Without Conner, he was the leader, and while he was a veteran, Tommy still felt a big responsibility when becoming a leader. On the other side, Troy prepared his Rangers, nodding when they stood behind him, ready.
He was not going to fail Jake. He would keep the city safe and find him and Conner, no matter what.
"Rangers! Ready!" said Troy. "Super Megamode!"
"Super Megamode!"
"Rangers! Ready!" screamed Tommy. "Dino Thunder! Power Up! Ah!"
"Dino Thunder! Power Up! Ah!" called the Dino Thunder Rangers.
The Rangers teleported to the battlefield while Jason, Kat, and Kimberly started to look for Jake and Conner with Tensou, focused on finding the guys before something happened to them.

Plaza (Battlefield)
When the Super Megaforce and Dino Thunder Rangers arrived, they heard the sound of X-Borgs going down and ran around the corner, only to find something that left them speechless. In front of them was a Silver Ranger, using Conner's Tyranno Staff and Jake's Megaforce Ax to bring down the X-Borgs.
It took the Ranger seconds to defeat all the X-Borgs. Once he did, he looked up, seeing the other Rangers there. At first, he stood there, quiet, but then he ran away, with Conner and Jake's weapons.
"Wait!" screamed Yellow Super Megaforce.
"Stop!" screamed Yellow Dino Thunder.
Yellow Dino Thunder screamed, using her power when the Silver Ranger didn't stop, but the Silver Ranger jumped and disappeared before they could stop him. The Super Megaforce Rangers and the Dino Thunder Rangers ran after him, but it was too late.
"He had their weapons… he must know where they are," said Blue Dino Thunder.
"We need to go back to the Command Center and see if we can find him," said Red Super Megaforce.
"You are right, Red. We have to go back to the Command Center, and about this Silver Ranger… all we have to do is wait for the next attack," said Black Dino Thunder.
The Rangers nodded. It was not what they wanted, but now they knew this Silver Ranger might be the key to finding Jake and Conner. They all left, unsure of what else to do, and both Yellow Rangers hugged each other, hoping Jake and Conner were safe wherever they were.

Silver Ranger's Hideout
The Silver Ranger ran into his hideout and took a long moment to catch his breath before he recovered and looked around. He walked slowly, leaving the Tyranno Staff and the Snake Ax on the table before walking deeper inside the cave.
"Guys!"
It took a few seconds for another shadow to appear, revealing Conner McKnight. Conner's red shirt was torn and he face was all dirty, but other than that, the Red Dino Thunder Ranger seemed to be fine. He smiled, looking at the Silver Ranger walking towards him.
"Hey, you came back," said Conner.
"Yeah, I also saw more Rangers, they were dressed like you and Jake when you morphed," said the Silver Ranger. "Talking about Jake, how is he?"
"Still resting. The power you saw last night drained him," said Conner. "Thankfully, the Dino Gem can feed them enough energy, he will wake up soon."
The Silver Ranger walked towards where Jake was resting and put a hand over Jake's shoulder, looking at the young man's face.
"I'm sorry," said the Silver Ranger.
"Hey, it's not your fault," said Conner, putting an arm on the Silver Ranger's shoulder to take his attention from Jake. "By the way, you said other Rangers appeared?"
"Yes, I was fighting X-Borgs and they appeared. Two Yellow Rangers tried to stop me but I escaped right after one of the Yellow Rangers screamed at me… I still don't know what that was," said the Silver Ranger.
"That was my wife," said Conner, proudly. "She must be worried to send an attack like that to another Ranger. The other Yellow Ranger must be Jake's girlfriend, and the other Rangers our teams."
"I see… shouldn't we call them?" asked the Silver Ranger.
Conner looked at Jake sleeping form, thinking and then, he looked back up at the Silver Ranger.
"Not yet. He needs rest and I'm using the Dino Gem. If the Armada sees us like this, they will want to finish Jake and we can't let that happen," said Conner.
The Silver Ranger nodded and looked down at Jake. There was something about this young man. The Silver Ranger didn't know what it was, but he felt like their bond was strong, even though they only met last night.
Conner looked at the Silver Ranger when Jake's morpher went off, another alarm. The Silver Ranger looked up to Conner, the Dino Thunder Red Ranger nodded, and the Silver Ranger ran out of the cave, grabbing the Tyranno Staff and the Snake Ax before going to face this new attack again while Conner looked down at Jake.
He was feeling something coming from his Dino Gem, something warm, like a connection with Jake that Conner could not explain. Suddenly, a flash of light covered his eyes and a Firebird appeared in Conner's vision.
"One day… your true face will be revealed."
The vision disappeared, and Conner looked down at Jake. What was that? That Firebird wasn't his spirit. He had his Dino Gem and Tyranno and Triassic power. He couldn't possibly hold that Firebird too, right?

Plaza (Battlefield)
The Super Megaforce and Dino Thunder Rangers arrived to see a bomb near a building. Close to them, a monster and new X-borgs were waiting and ambushed them as soon as they arrived. The Super Megaforce Rangers moved fast and started a fight while the Black Dino Thunder turned to look at his companions.
"Yellow, Blue, help the Super Megaforce. White, take that bomb out of here!" ordered Black Dino Thunder.
The Dino Thunder Rangers nodded, running toward their objectives. Yellow and Blue Dino Thunder used their Dino Mode to take down X-borgs, giving some room to the Super Megaforce Rangers. With Red's lead, they grabbed one of their keys.
"Rangers! Ready!" screamed Red. "Wild Access!"
"Wild Access!"
The Super Megaforce Rangers transformed into the Wild Force Rangers, and along with Yellow and Blue Dino Thunder, they defeated the X-borgs while Black Dino Thunder jumped over the monster and kicked him on the back, making him fall to the ground.
"Game over," said Black Dino Thunder.
"I don't think so, Ranger," said the monster.
White Dino Thunder threw the bomb into the air and was about to use his weapon to destroy it when he felt something flying in his direction and saw Jake's Ax hit the bomb, throwing it into the air and making it explode.
When White Dino Thunder turned around, he only saw a glimpse of the Silver Ranger before he disappeared. Not wanting to see him go again, White Dino Thunder followed him, running after him.

Alien Ship
Prince Vekar was furious as he saw the Rangers destroy more of his X-borgs. As soon as he saw the White Ranger running after the Silver Ranger, Prince Vekar ran to the other screen, pointing at Damaras.
"Tell our monster to capture him now!" screamed Prince Vekar.
Damaras quickly moved to send the message while Prince Vekar looked at the image. That Ranger had to be captured no matter what.

Plaza (Battlefield)
The Rangers ran after the Silver Ranger, forgetting the monster as the goal was to trap him so he could tell them where Conner and Jake were. But the Silver Ranger was fast. He used the Tyranno Staff to propel himself and jump as far as he could when suddenly, he was hit by the monster.
The Silver Ranger fell to the ground, the Snake Ax and the Tyranno Staff falling from his hands.
The Silver Ranger punched the ground, getting up to grab the weapons when he felt the monster grabbing him and smashing him against the nearest wall. The Dino Thunder and Super Megaforce Rangers arrived at that moment and were about to help him when they heard two familiar voices near them.
"Dino Thunder! Power Up! Ah!"
"Super Megamode!"
Conner and Jake jumped over their teams at the same time they morphed and landed on the ground, behind the monster, morphed in their Red Dino Thunder and Super Megaforce suits. Both of them grabbed the monster and threw him back, freeing the Silver Ranger from his grasp.
Both Red Dino Thunder and Green Super Megaforce looked at the Silver Ranger and then powered down, still too weak to contain it.
"Jake!"
"Conner!"
The Silver Ranger saw his Rangers' friends fall and something inside him awakened. It was anger. It was sad. It was memories he wished he could forget. The Silver Ranger closed his fists and raised his hand, calling for his staff.
Once in his hand, the Silver Ranger ran towards the monster and with a few movements of the staff, he destroyed the monster, putting an end to this fight.
Then he turned around and saw both Yellow Rangers holding their husband and boyfriend. The Silver Ranger walked towards them, kneeling in front of them.
"I'm so sorry… this is all my fault," said the Silver Ranger.
"Why?" asked the Black Dino Thunder Ranger.
The Silver Ranger raised his head and then looked down again.
"I was the pilot of the ship that crashed outside the city," said the Silver Ranger. "Jake and Conner found me and saved me from the aliens. But during the fight, Jake had to use his powers, and for some reason, he already had a strong headache so he passed out after the fight. Conner wanted Jake to rest, so we looked and found a cave near the crash. They have been there all this time."
"Why didn't Conner contact us?" asked the Yellow Dino Thunder Ranger.
"He was worried about Jake, so he used his Dino Gem to ensure Jake and his spirit had enough energy," explained the Silver Ranger.
"I see… that's why they look so weak," said Blue Dino Thunder.
"We should get them to the Command Center," said Red Super Megaforce.
"And you should come with us. If the aliens wanted you, there has to be a reason," said White Dino Thunder.
The Silver Ranger nodded, getting up and taking off his helmet, showing the face of a young man with long blonde hair and eyes that spoke of the tragedies he endured in his life.
"There is a reason," explained the Silver Ranger. "My name is Orion, and I come from a planet called Andresia… a planet these aliens already conquered."
The Rangers looked at each other, not knowing what to say as Orion looked down at Conner and Jake. Thanks to them, he was alive… thanks to them, he may have a chance to save his people.
Thanks to them, he may live to tell the tale, and for that, he will do anything he can to repay the favor.
