It was night time on the island, and everyone was fast asleep in Bruce and Brandy's house when all of a sudden, brozone, Poppy, Viva, Brandy and the kids woke up only to find themselves in an empty dark void that seemed endless. "What's going on?" Cove asked in fear, he and his siblings were scared of being in this place. "Where's Ariel?" LaBreezy asked Bruce and Brandy, everyone looked around, but no one could find the young human. "She's gotta be here." Poppy reassured the kids. Before anyone else could say anything else, voices could soon be heard. "Who're they?" John Dory asked as two adult humans came into view while the woman carried a baby. "This is all your fault!" The woman said in anger, everyone noticed that the woman looked like a grown-up version of Ariel, only with brown eyes. "Your the one who wouldn't get rid of the brat." The man replied just as upset as the woman, the two argued over who was at fault for the baby being born. "Could those be Ariel's parents?" Rainy asked warily, his question got all of the adults to really pay attention to the conversation, before realizing that Rainy was right. "I had no choice! Our families would've gotten angry with us." The woman responded as she looked at the baby. "What's it's name?" The man asked even though he didn't care. "Her name is Ariel." The woman said as she rolled her eyes. Brandy, brozone, Poppy, Viva, and the kids's eyes widen at hearing the name of the baby. "It really is Ariel." Branch said in shock, Floyd looked pretty upset on Ariel's behalf as he watched how her parents acted towards her when she was just a newborn baby. "I guess we're stuck with it." The man said with annoyed sigh, the woman could only nod in agreement.
More memories played out before the group as they watched Ariel grow up while seeing just how hard she worked to try and become the perfect daughter in order to gain her parents love only for it to backfire on her as her parents would beat Ariel. "I can't believe they'd hurt their own daughter!" Bruce growled in anger, he and the other adults were furious while the kids cried in sadness on Ariel's behalf. The more they saw of Ariel's memories, the more angrier or sad the adults and kids became. "Why won't they stop?!" Bruce Jr asked with a sob, he and his siblings were full on crying now as they watched their friend get beaten by her so-called father. The adults tried to calm down the kids, but nothing they did worked. "You were nothing more than a mistake!" The woman shouted at Ariel, everyone saw the devastated look on Ariel's face when her mother told her those words. "That was uncalled for!" Brandy shouted at the woman, of course, neither Ariel nor her mother heard Brandy. Just then, another memory began to play with Ariel standing next to her mother as music began to play. "Now what's happening?" Viva asked in worry, she and the others couldn't take much more of seeing Ariel being hurt by either of her so-called parents. "Listen." Clay replied softly as the music picked up again.

At the end of the song, the group saw Ariel's mother leave right after her father had until she was left with her best friend Mallory and her mother. "So, that's what happened." Floyd said sadly, he watched as Ariel was comforted by Mallory and her mother as Mr. and Mrs. Smith left their own daughter behind after telling her that she was a mistake that never should've been born. "We're not leaving her alone, right?" Poppy asked gently, she was angry at Ariel's parents and sad for Ariel at the same time. "She's never going to be alone, again." Floyd replied with determination, he was going to adopt Ariel, no matter what. His family agreed that Ariel would never be left alone again, especially not after how her own family had treated her for years. "Can you really help her?" Mallory asked Floyd, now that the adults could see the ravennette, they all looked at the human girl that stood before them with a fire in their eyes.
"I promise. We will help Ariel." Floyd responded to her. Mallory smiled at his determination."I'll help convince Ariel to let you in." Mallory told them, the eight adults knew that Ariel already trusted the kids, but they needed her to trust them as well. "We can do it together!" Windy said with a smile, his brothers and sister cheered in agreement. With everyone working together, Ariel was sure to open up to Floyd. However, fate had more in store for them, as the news on Mount Rageous about how Velvet had escaped prison while forcing her brother Veneer to come with her had spread. "I've gotta warn the trolls!" Veneer screamed in his mind. Veneer really did have a change of heart after what he and Velvet had done to Floyd, and while Veneer was alright with paying her debt to society, Velvet wanted revenge on the trolls that ruined her career which was why they were headed for Vacay Island, even though, again, Veneer was being forced into this by his sister for real. "Someone! Warn the trolls!" Veneer screamed in his mind again, he had to do something, but he needed help.
