Chapter 2: Stolas the city boy now country boy
Inside a home a shadowy little figure held a crossbow
Little boy voice: demon demon
Kill the demon hunt them far and yonder
Demon demon kill the demon
Till all the demons are done for
An arrow struck what looks like a picture of a demon as it shows the one who did it was a 12 year old boy with pale skin and wine red eyes and messy black hair dressed as a school boy as he is surrounded by boxes some unpacked and put away. His name was Stolas "See that Elphabah? Right on the nose" he said to a Crow with a green shine in her feathers and a beautiful green ribbon around her neck as she cawed as she flew onto his shoulder "What are you saying? I was aiming for the nose *caw* well I am glad you agree missy, I hope if I keep practicing I can help Mama Loona" he said
Female voice: stolas?
Female voice with a British accent: Stolas are you in there?
Stolas gasped as he quickly hid the crossbow into a box "Yes mama Loona Octavia mom?" He said as two figures stepped in.
One was a red eyed beauty with white hair half shaved dressed as a ranger with pale skin with a bit of muscle as she gave a smile at the little boy, her name is Loona one of Stolas adopted moms.
The other was a british beauty with pale skin long black hair down mid back in a messy style with wine colored eyes dressed in a lab coat and a pink turtle neck and blue jeans and dress shoes, her name was Octavia, Stolas other mom as she smiled "Busy helping with unpacking?" Asked Octavia looking at a few unpacked boxes as Stolas blushed "Yes mama Tia practically finished" he said as he tried to put a few stuff away as Loona hummed "Well you haven't certainly been idle" she said as Stolas had a fake smile "Idle no way, I've been sweeping dusting and putting the last of the boxes away just cant keep up with it" he said as the two knows that Stolas hasn't been cleaning the house or unpacking the boxes as they finished there interviews and receiving instructions at there new jobs the little fella has been training to be a demon hunter.
They shared a chuckle as Loona closed the door and reached into the box and got the crossbow "I wonder what range is that Demon poster is? 15 feet" she asked "20 at least" said Stolas as he made a face "I am not sure I haven't really considered it too busy cleaning" he said" denied Stolas as Loona sighed and shared a look with her wife "Stolas I know its not easy to adjust to a new town and you know you are to young and are to frail to go and hunt Demons with me" said Loona as Stolas sighed "I know and I want to try but the kids there…they just look at me like I am a outsider" said Stolas as he can feel that the other kids see him only as a city kid and a weakling "I know its not easy, but you know the rules of the Mayor, no children under 18 be out of the gate and finished a apprentace ship, you need to wait until you are 13 to start a apprentace ship, the forest is brimming with real demons and its your moms job to hunt them down and not yours" said Octavia as Stolas frowned but got brave "I am not afraid of a demon!" He said bravely "You never seen a real demon" said Loona "but I am still not afraid" said Stolas "Yes and that is why I must be afraid for you and your mother" said Loona gently ruffling his hair as Stolas pouted as Loona gathered up her weapons and traps, as the ranger she has to go into the forest to make sure any dangerous animals leave the citizens alone "Can I come with you to the gates?" Asked Stolas "I'll be back before sundown, stay indoors and finish unpacking" said Loona as Octavia got her bag "Same with me I need to help out there are several injured due to a demon attacks" she said as the two left leaving Stolas alone as he pouted. He dosent want to waste time staying at home unpacking as he got an idea "Time to practice our tracking Elphi" he smirked as Elphibah cawed in concerned "Yes now come on I track my moms and prove I am not a city boy" he said grabbing his crossbow and arrows as he and Elphibah left the home.
"You find mama Octavia and I'll follow and then when we see her enter her clinic we can go to follow mama Loona" said Stolas as Elphabah nodded and flew to follow Octavia and for Stolas to follow without getting in trouble as Elphabah flew and flew in circles showing she founded Octavia as Stolas carefully followed as she flew down and punched on Stolas shoulder "Good work Elphi" he said as he followed her leaping from roof to roof as he carefully slid down to the ground as a few roof pieces fell off making a noise as Loona and Octavia (Who followed to make sure Loona got to the gate safe and sound) looked around to see if they were followed as Stolas hid behind a crate without getting caught as he saw his moms leaving as he pushed pass the people when they started to play music due to a busker as he looked around to see there was no sign of them, not noticing that Loona and Octavia were behind him.
"Stolas" said Loona as the little boy gasped and saw his moms as he smiled sheepishly blushing "I was gonna track as far as the clinic and the gates" he said "oh really? And then follow your mom and slay the clan of demons single handed?" Teased Octavia as Loona chuckled "Oh you" she said "I know but we can hunt them together, I mean I maybe weak but maybe learn like Mama Octavia and help with gathering herbs to make sure you are good and strong and take down all the demon types out there" said Stolas as more people kept dancing as Loona chucked and ruffled his head "What am I to do with you?" She said "same her" said Octavia as the doctor took he son to dance as Loona watched her wife and son enjoying themselfs as she was happy to see that the change of land was much better then the city, diffrent but soothing.
"We can climb mountains, see giants, meet witches who cast spells see beautiful landscapes find mermaids, silkies and dragons abound" said Stolas as Octavia chuckled "Kid and your fanciful stories" said Octavia as she and Stolas both laughed having a good time as Loona walked up and hugged from behind her son "You have a lot to learn about the world around you but all you can do is keep discovering that day by day" said Loona as the family was happy to be together, but the peace didnt last long "Lindbeck come here a minute" said a guard named Amon as Loona breathed through her nose to calm down as she seperated from the hug and saluted "Yes sir! Stolas stay where you are, Octavia you better hurry to the clinic before your boss get mad" she said as Octavia nods and kneels down "Stolas stay where your mother can see" said Octavia as Stolas nodded and hugged his mom "By mom, be safe" he said as Octavia nodded "I will I promise" she said as she hurried on to the clinic as Stolas watched her leave as he watched Loona talk to the guard.
As Stolas stood there he heard some odd sort of chanting from the other side of a curtain as he saw the shadow of a demon as he got suspicious as he got out his crossbow and came through…only to see a couple of kids his age to 13 chanting 'demon' and carrying wooden swords as one kid was in a cage pretending to be a demon as Stolas watched curious and confused wondering what is going on as one of the teens a young male named Damian (Pokemon) saw Stolas and smirked "Hay you where do you think you're going dressed like that city brat" he said as others laughed "I am a hunter in training…or trying to for my mama Loona" said Stolas "I'm a hunter" mocked Damian "Would you listen to his voice as Stolas blushed but got brave "I am a hunter just like my mama Loona, she is the best ranger there is" she said as Damian got angery and violent "No she is not, my father is the best hunter a women deserves to just stay in the kitchen not out in the field "this is not the 1940s and my Mama Loona is hunting demons for the mayor so there you uncultured bullies" said Stolas as Damina got mad "That mayor Vox is a loser he put my dad in chains for nothing and assigned a worthless female to be the ranger, you outsiders think you are so great but you are not you should go home and have your mother stick to the kitchen, but first give me that crossbow" he demanded as he tried to grab Stolas crossbow "No stop it!" Yells Stolas with enough strength pushed Damian on the ground as his freinds gasped in shock and glared for that.
"You'll pay for that brat" said Damian as two other bullies carried the cage to trap Stolas into as they ganged up on him as they got close to beat him up and trap him "What is going on here" said Loona her voice sharp as Damian and the others gasped "The soldier! Scram" he said as he and the others ran off so they wont get in trouble as Stolas huffed "Women should stay In the kitchen bah" he said but got nervous seeing it was Loona with Elphaba on her shoulder as he chuckled.
Stolas followed his mother to the gates glumly from what has happened as Loona noticed "Why must you wonder off like that Stolas?"she asked "I was trying to help you there was this boy and he said his father was better then you and that women like you should belong in the kitchen and then he wanted my crossbow and…" Stolas rambled "Stolas!" Loona spoke "All three of us are not welcomed to this land yet, you better off to stay at home while me or your mother is working, you're safe there "But I'll be just as safe out there with you" suggested Stolas "NO! Stolas! *Slamed the gate shut* stay inside! Do as your told, its for your own good Stolas" said Loona firmly as Stolas looked down sadly, he really wants to help but he cant due to rules even with his Mama Octavia as he wasnt old enough to help around the clinic.
Loona sighed and placed her tool bag down "Loon…this evening when I'm back you gan help me clean and prepare my tools the same with helping your mom with making the medicines humm?" She said as that perked Stolas up a bit "Can you guys tell me your stories of giants and gargoyles I would like that as well" he said as Loona smiled "Now be good" she said as she picked up her bag and walked away to do her job hunting and trapping demons as Stolas and Elphabah watched until the guards held there weapons in front of him "No children under 18 beyond the walls the mayors order" said one of the as Stolas nodded and walked away as he held a arm out for Elphabah to punch on "If she could see how good I am, what a hunter I am even though I am weak then she would have to let me come along and help out" he said maybe not with the heavy hunting but maybe with foraging and gathering as well as Elphabah cawed as Stolas grinned "What are you Elphi? Bird or chicken?" He said as he had to giggle as Elphabah nipped at his ear cutely.
Stolas soon hid behind some crates as he saw Damian and his freinds were picking on a boy his age or at least 13 or 14, he had dark skin, beautiful yellow eyes and messy black hair but oddly blue streaks and a pair of earrings with a bull and ram skull dressed in fine cloths "Cut it out and leave me alone" he said "Aww you gonna cry?" Said Damian as Stolas got mad as he spotted a flag that belongs to the Mayor and soots it down as it covered Damian and the others as seeing a chance the boy ran off but not before seeing Stolas as he noded thank you as he took off but Damian getting out grinned "Ahah we got a flag! Come on!" He yelled as he and the others ran in front of the guards "Down with mayor Vox!" They yelled causing them to run after them as Stolas laughed. With the guards distracted Stolas crawled through the gate with Elpheba flying after him.
Out of the town Stolas is ready to prove his worth and show his moms he s ready to hunt with him.
Meanwhile with the boy that Stolas saved ran around a corner as he sighed "Well that was close that was really nice of that boy to help me I hope we can meet again" he said "Hay Ozzie saw what happened I wish I could had jumped in to help out" said a raspy like voice as the now Named Ozzie looked up and saw a slender figure wearing a jester like cap covering his head and odd white make up and odd stretchy metal legs and dressed in a colorful outfit with a thick jacket covering a green turtle neck sweater as he grinned a impish grin "You know what your mama said you cant go and show yourself especially in town Frizzi" said Ozzie as he took the now Named Frizzi into his hands "Aww but the risk is fin *Nussled on his forehead* say our night time adventures" he said as Ozzie blushed as he and I guess one can say his secret boyfriend went off to hang out…though for a second his right arm glowed a bit…
Authrors note: strong second I hope as we meet Stolas who wishes to show his strength and to help his moms on the way
Next chapter Stolas sees the demons and even sees Blitzo after he accidently shoots Elphaba by accident and takes her away as she learns more of the demon walkers from Moxxie and Millie
