Trigger Warning: Attempted Kidnap and attempted rape!
Chapter 12: Attempted Kidnapped!
Erin entered the bathroom after talking to Justin about Jamie. She was uncertain of her emotions about seeing her sister again but was genuinely happy. She decided to have a conversation with Jamie about several matters.
Erin didn't realize someone had followed her into the bathroom. Erin finished her business and began washing her hands, humming softly to herself as she reached for paper towels.
Erin's heart nearly leapt out of her chest when she saw Henley right behind her. She had expected to grab paper towels, not encounter someone she believed to be imprisoned.
"Wh-what..." Erin attempted to speak, but her voice failed her as she stared at Henley. He smirked and asked, "Missed me, Lindsay?"
Henley approached Erin, who retreated against the wall, her head bumping into the paper towel dispenser.
Erin bit her lip, staring at Henley with fear in her eyes. "How...what..." she stuttered, reaching for something to defend herself with.
Henley chuckled. "What's wrong, detective?" he asked, smirking as he stopped before her. "You won't find anything to hit me with here."
Erin's glare intensified as she attempted to bypass him. "How did you escape prison?" she demanded, her voice finally found. Henly's eyes followed her every move.
"That's for me to know and you to discover," Henley replied, blocking her path. His fingers brushed her cheek.
Erin's body tensed as she tried to remove Henley's hand from her face. His words sent a chill down her spine. "All you need to know is where I'm taking you," he asked, pinning her against the wall, his hands roaming her body.
"I'm not going anywhere with you!" Erin replied, using her legs to try to trip him. She nearly succeeded, but Henley slapped her across the face. "Stop resisting!" he sneered. "I told you, once I get out, I'm coming back for you." He nuzzled his nose into her neck and licked her soft skin.
Erin's body froze as Henley's hands caressed her body and his tongue traced her neck. "When I get you back," he said, thrusting his hips against hers, "no one will stop me from finishing what I started."
The brunette turned her head away, filled with shame and helplessness. "But how will I get past those bodyguards you have outside?"
Henley groaned and pushed his hips against hers.
"You're mine, you little tramp. Once I get you out of here, I'll show you who's boss," Henley threatened.
Erin's whimpers echoed through the room as she fought against him. His hands crept down her jeans.
"Back off!" Jamie's voice boomed from behind Henley. Erin's eyes snapped open as she saw her sister standing there, her gun drawn.
Henley scoffed and stepped back. "Who the hell are you?" he demanded, sizing up the blonde woman who had interrupted their encounter.
"Doesn't matter," Jamie replied coldly. "Get away from her, or I'll shoot you." Her piercing blue eyes met Henley's, leaving no doubt about her intentions.
Henley smirked, stepping back and letting Erin slide down the bathroom wall. He exited, uttering, "Keep this quiet if you value her life." Sneering at the blonde, he left Molly's.
Jamie witnessed Henley's departure and approached Erin, embracing her. "It's alright," she whispered, comforting her sister.
Erin leaned into Jamie's embrace, her body trembling with fear. "Who was that?" Jamie inquired, gently massaging Erin's back.
Erin shook her head. "Just some creep." Avoiding revealing Henley's identity, she pulled away and stood up. "Erin?" Jamie asked, concerned.
Erin stared at Jamie. "You won't tell anyone about this, or what you witnessed," she uttered. The brunette didn't need Voight and the team knowing about the incident because she refused to be put on a tight leash.
"Erin, we have to inform them," Jamie protested, rising from the floor. "They'll suspect something happened."
"No, they won't," Erin snapped. "It's trivial; you dealt with it."
Jamie frowned as Erin approached the door. "It's the least you can do after leaving me," she added, then exited the bathroom, leaving Jamie behind.
The blonde shook her head and followed her sister. "What will you tell them about your bruised cheek?" she asked, halting Erin.
Erin glanced at her. "I'll just say I bumped into something," she replied, heading towards Justin who was waiting nearby, amused by Kelly's remark.
"Hey, babe," Justin greeted when he saw Erin returning to their table. He frowned as she reached for her jacket. "Hey, are you okay?" He couldn't shake the feeling something had happened when she was in the bathroom.
Erin glanced at him and mustered a smile. "I'm fine, Justin. I just feel a bit tired and figured I'd turn in early." She ignored the concerned expressions from her friends.
"Would you like me to walk you home?" Justin offered, getting up from his seat. Erin stopped him. "No, it's okay. You stay and enjoy yourself. I'll see you at Voight's in the morning, and we can chat then," she said, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.
Justin watched Erin leave Molly's with a troubled frown. He resisted the urge to follow her. Just then, Jamie approached their table and took a seat between Jay and Kevin, who greeted her warmly.
"Do you know what happened?" Kevin inquired of Jamie upon noticing her arrival from the bathroom, where Erin had previously returned.
"Yep," Jamie replied with a grin. "Erin and I were catching up, and she's not pleased."
Kevin nodded. "How about another beer?" he asked, changing the subject.
"Sure, or we could get out of here," Jamie suggested, her gaze fixed on the muscular detective. "Maybe we could get to know each other."
"Sure, let's go," Kevin agreed, attempting to ignore the catcalls from Adam and Kelly.
"Go for it, Kevin!" Adam teased, drawing a glare from the African American man. "We're just going for a walk to get to know each other since we'll be working together."
"Yeah, if you say so," Adam laughed mockingly, with Al joining in. "When a blonde asks you on a date, it's usually a sign of interest."
With a roll of his eyes, Kevin followed Jamie out of Molly's. "Sorry about that," he said with a smile. "It's fine," Jamie replied with a laugh.
