Naruto x 5 Sisters – The Bodyguard Mission*
Part 2: Chaos Begins*
The first morning of Naruto's new mission began with a jarring rudeness that startled him awake.
"*NARUTO!*" a voice screeched, high-pitched and insistent, cutting through the sleepy haze like a blade. Before he could fully comprehend the situation, Naruto rolled off his futon with a yelp, crashing onto the floor with an undignified thud.
Standing over him, hands firmly planted on her hips, was Zara, the youngest of the sisters. Her dark brown hair bounced around her face, and her tiny frame seemed to exude a fierce determination. "You're supposed to be guarding us, not sleeping in!"
Naruto rubbed his eyes groggily, glaring at her as his heart rate began to settle. "It's barely sunrise! What's the emergency?" He craned his neck to glance out the window; the first light of dawn was just peeking over the horizon, painting the sky peach and gold.
Zara huffed indignantly, her eyebrows knitted together. "Rika wants breakfast, and we're not waiting. Hurry up!"
Naruto blinked in disbelief. "What does breakfast have to do with me?"
"You're our bodyguard, so you're supposed to do what we say!" Zara snapped before turning on her heel, her ponytail swinging as she stormed out of the room.
With a groan, Naruto flopped back onto the futon, staring at the ceiling. "This mission is already a disaster…" he muttered, the weight of the day ahead settling heavily on him.

Downstairs, the dining room was a grand sight: a long table covered with intricately designed plates and sparkling cutlery set amidst lavish floral arrangements. The sisters were seated, each wearing a unique expression of irritation or boredom.
Rika, the eldest, sipped her tea with unwavering composure, a regal air about her as she regarded her sisters and Naruto. Mizuki and Isabella were seated together, whispering conspiratorially while stealing glances at him, their gazes laced with disapproval. Sienna seemed more entranced with the book in her hands than the drama unfolding around her.
"Finally," Rika said with a slight smirk as Naruto trudged into the room, a hint of impatience lacing her tone. "You're slower than I expected."
Naruto scowled, hands jammed into his pockets. "I'm a bodyguard, not a servant," he replied, attempting to sound authoritative despite the lingering effects of sleep.
Rika arched an eyebrow. "A good bodyguard ensures his clients' needs are met. Do you even know how to cook?"
"Of course I do!" Naruto barked, puffing out his chest. "I make the best instant ramen in Konoha!"
The room fell silent for a moment before Isabella's laughter broke through, light and mocking. "Ramen? Figures. You're not exactly what I'd call sophisticated."
Naruto felt his blood boil. "That's it! You want breakfast? I'll make breakfast!" The determination in his voice fueled by irritation, he scampered into the kitchen as thoughts of culinary glory danced through his mind.
--
An hour later, Naruto swaggered back into the dining room with a triumphant grin plastered on his face, placing bowls of steaming miso ramen in front of each sister. The aroma filled the room, a mix of savory broth and tender noodles.
"What is this?" Mizuki asked, poking cautiously at the noodles, her expression skeptical, as if she were examining an alien organism rather than food.
"It's ramen!" Naruto said proudly, his chest puffed out. "Trust me, it's amazing!"
The sisters exchanged glances, a collective hesitation hanging in the air. Rika sighed dramatically but lifted her chopsticks, taking a hesitant bite. Her eyes widened slightly, but she quickly masked her surprise behind a frown.
"It's… decent," she stated, setting her chopsticks down with an air of feigned casualness.
"Decent?!" Naruto shouted, losing his cool. "That's top-tier ramen if I've ever made it!"
Sienna leaned back in her chair, arms folded. "I've had worse. You'll need to do better if you want to impress us."
Slumping into a chair in defeat, Naruto muttered under his breath, "This is gonna be the death of me…"

Later that day, the atmosphere shifted as Hiroshi summoned Naruto and the sisters to the training yard behind the mansion. The towering trees and manicured lawns formed a picturesque backdrop, but there was an air of tension brewing amidst the sisters as they knelt on the grassy surface.
"I have an important meeting in the capital," Hiroshi explained, his voice steady. "I'll be gone for a few days, so Naruto will be in charge of your safety. Remember, you must listen to him."
The sisters barely hid their disinterest as they nodded, exchanging glances and whispers that communicated their skepticism. With a resolute expression, Hiroshi departed, leaving Naruto feeling the weight of his responsibilities settle firmly on his shoulders.
"*Alright, listen up!*" he said, stepping in front of the group, attempting to command the authority he had yet to gain in their eyes. "If I'm gonna keep you safe, you have to actually follow my instructions."
Zara snorted, arms crossed defiantly. "You mean we have to follow you?"
"Yes!" Naruto snapped, the frustration bubbling to the surface. "If something bad happens, it's my job to protect you. But I can't do that if you're running off or ignoring me!"
Rika smirked, a playful glint in her green eyes. "Fine. We'll listen to you… as long as you prove you're strong enough to handle the job."
Naruto frowned, crossing his arms tightly. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Simple," Isabella chimed in, stepping boldly forward. "We'll spar. If you can beat me, we'll take you seriously."
His eyes widened at the implication. "You're a civilian. How is this fair?"
"Scared?" Isabella taunted, a challenging spark igniting in her gaze.
Naruto sighed, putting on a brave front despite his growing anxiety. "Fine. But don't cry if you lose."
--
The sparring match drew a small crowd of onlookers, including some of the family's staff, their curiosity piqued. Isabella stood confidently, arms crossed and a sly smile playing on her lips, while Naruto adopted a basic fighting stance, mentally preparing himself for what lay ahead.
"Ready?" Isabella asked, her voice sultry with confidence as she taunted him with her gaze.
Naruto nodded, determination flooding through him. "Bring it."
Before he could fully react, Isabella dashed forward with surprising agility, flicking a small pebble directly at his face. Naruto dodged it easily but was left momentarily astonished by her quickness.
"You're faster than I thought," he admitted, barely avoiding the onslaught of dazzling kicks and punches that followed.
"Don't underestimate me!" she shouted, launching a flurry of attacks that Naruto had to parry with deft precision. He could feel himself slipping into a focused state, his years of ninja training kicking in. He blocked and weaved, the adrenaline coursing through him as he ducked beneath a leg sweep and caught her wrist mid-strike.
"That's enough," he said firmly, his grip solid as he eased her momentum. "I don't want to hurt you."
Isabella scowled, huffing at the sudden stop but recognizing the strength in his hold. The other sisters, watching from the sidelines with varying emotions, remained unimpressed.
"Well," Rika said, finally rising to speak, "that was entertaining, but you'll have to do better to earn our respect."
Naruto groaned, his head hanging low. "What's it gonna take for you to take me seriously?"
--
That night, as Naruto patrolled the estate, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. The night was unnaturally still; even the crickets were quiet, the world around him settling into an eerie hush. The shadows seemed to stretch and move in ways that felt foreign, instinct gnawing at his gut.
Just when he was about to dismiss his unease as mere imagination, the stillness shattered with a faint rustle coming from the bushes beyond the garden. Naruto tensed, instincts igniting. "*Who's there?*"
The bushes parted with a swish, revealing a masked figure clad in dark clothing, an air of menace surrounding them. Naruto's eyes narrowed as his heart pounded in his chest. "*An intruder…*"
With a quick decision, he leaped into action, turning back toward the mansion and shouting, "Stay inside!" before darting toward the figure, adrenaline coursing through his veins.
The masked ninja leaped back, creating distance, and tossed a barrage of shuriken at Naruto. He dodged them with agile grace, any previous fatigue now a distant memory as survival instincts took precedence.
Realizing this intruder posed a real threat, he charged forward with a kunai drawn, ready to confront the source of danger invading their home.
"This mission just got a lot more interesting," Naruto muttered, a smirk forming on his face as he prepared for the fight of his life.
