He wanted to go home. He wasn't sure how long it had been. It was horrible there and really scary. He hated insects, especially the creepy ones and there were loads of them. Like the size of a cat or something. And weird looking people with no faces or bumps on their back. And dogs. And flying things all there in the dark. It was like opening the door to the closet in his bedroom and it really was full of monsters but there was no way back out.

He wasn't sure what made him do it. He wanted to speak to Cheryl. He liked her from school. He tried to speak to her the day before but he got scared. He'd closed his eyes and thought of what to say, but when he opened them, she was gone.

He wondered if Mr. Mason was okay. Andy was okay. He didn't know how but he just had cuts and bruises. Maybe he was already dead and was being punished.

If Mr. Mason was okay, he would be mad that Andy had hidden in his car. He knew it was weird. It was like somebody made him do it. That girl maybe. He'd looked out his window and she was there. She was bigger than him. He'd never seen her in the neighborhood before. She seemed a bit creepy. Maybe she had super powers or something that could make people do things.

He wished he hadn't done it.

He felt tears coming in his eyes.

He was good at hiding though. And running. He been in loads of competitions at school and won most of them. That cheered him up a bit. His mom was really proud of him.

He wanted his mom. She must be really far away. Miles and miles. How was he going to get home?

He saw something move past the grate. It looked like a kid! He crawled to it. He looked around. No bugs. He took the grate off real careful. He moved into the hallway.

He stood up, which was a bit weird, he hadn't done it for a few hours. He felt dizzy. He leant against the wall for a minute. He saw a big cockroach at the other end of the corridor. He wasn't dizzy any more. He ran after the kid that he saw.

The door to the gym was shutting, like someone had gone through it. He pulled the door and stepped inside. It was dark but he could tell it was her. He was too shy in the garden but he'd spoken to her a few times now. They were friends.

"Hello Cheryl" said Andy.
