Chapter 35:

An angel so vile

The angelic court, heaven:

Screaming as she was pulled through an angelic portal, Carmilla Carmine suddenly found herself falling down, only coming to a stop when she fell right into what appeared to be a white and gold plated chair.

Slowly coming to her senses, her eyes shot wide open as she gazed up, only to be met with…the angelic court of heaven…..

"Carmilla?!" she'd hear next to her, and as she turned her head to the left, there, on a similar seat, behind a small table like she had, sat Sera, 2 strong looking angels holding her down on either side with golden chains around her neck.

She's be snapped out of this when suddenly, she found something wrap its way around her throat, but as she brought her hand up, she was met with, what she could only assume was a similar shackle as 2 similar looking angels took their position on either side of her, holding the attached chains.

A short, blonde angel man with 6 beautiful golden wings, blonde, slicked back hair, these piercing sky-blue eyes and a halo that looked almost like a crown would slowly emerge at he took position on the upper most balcony…..

Sera knew this angel…..one of the arch angels….the elders…as she fearfully mumbled under her breath "….Gabriel…." while on the balcony next to him, Genesis just sat there, smirking in an unnerving way….she was probably the accuser….

"Members of the angelic court…..when everyone is ready, we shall begin this hearing…." Gabriel spoke "due to the nature of the accusations, as well as the high standing position of the accused, the high seraphim shall be temporarily be relieved of her position and her authority shall henceforth be handed over onto me, either until her innocence is proven or once a final verdict is spoken…."

As he brought up a gold plated, wooden gavel and slammed it down onto the surface of the balcony in front of him, indicating the court hearing had officially begun….

The Hazbin hotel, pride ring, hell:

Meanwhile at the Hazbin hotel, everyone was staring at the TV screen with baited breath, no one dared to say a thing as they watched the court hearing unfold….

"Sera…..accused of high treason…..what the fuck is going on?" Vaggie mumbled under her breath.

The angelic court, heaven:

Gabriel took a deep breath and he began "Sera, you are hereby accused of high treason against heaven and its people" as he gestured towards Carmilla with one hand "By conspiring with this here demon…." He'd lean closer, narrowing his gaze "How do you plead?"

Sera tried to stand up, but the 2 strong angel guards on either side of her yanked her chain, pulling her back into her chair "NOT GUILTY! GABRIEL, PLEASE LISTEN TO ME, THIS IS ALL ONE BIG MISUNDERSTANDING!"

Genesis would laugh "It's ironic, isn't it? Sentencing Lute for something similar 7 years ago. And now here you are" as she laughed a wicked cackle "Kinda hypocritical, wouldn't you agree, Sera?"

The high seraphim would sneer at the 4 winged angel before returning her attention to Gabriel, the current judge of this court "Gabriel, neither me nor Carmilla had any ill intentions"

Genesis would cut her off "High seraphim, is it true that this…" it was almost as if the 4 winged angel had to force herself to address the sinner as she spat it out in disgust "….that this…"THING"….is an arms dealer…" before gaining a smug smile "….correct?"

Exchanging a anxious glance with Carmilla, Sera lowered her head, unable to get the words out.

Taking a deep breath, Carmilla would speak up in her stead "Correct"

It was almost as if Genesis took great offense to this as she sneered at the overlord "I wasn't addressing "YOU", abomination…."

Genesis continued "…..and wasn't it this demon who discovered our weakness to our own weapons?"

Sera tried to explain "Well yes but she had her reasons. She merely wanted to protect her daughters-"

"ENOUGH" Genesis cut her off as she smiled….her grin wicked as she produced the USB drive.

"Bring forth the scrying orb….."

And as the glowing ball or light emerged, Gabriel spoke "What have you gotten there, high executioner Genesis?"

The 4 winged woman just smiled, holding up the USB drive "….evidence…."

With horror on both their faces, Sera and Carmilla watched at the orb sprang to life and began to play out their very graphic lovemaking for the entirety of the angelic court….all of heaven and the entire pride ring to see…..

"You…..were willing….to give away the ONE THING that can harm an angel…." As she gestured to the scene playing out on the orb "For sexual favors…you gave in to the sin of lust….and in doing so brought the entirety of heaven in danger by delivering our one weakness right into the hands of an arms dealer…into the hands of an overlord…..a demon…."

Sera hung her head in her hands, elbows on the table as she felt like she watched her entire world crumble before her….as slowly…her will to fight….broke…

"and is it true that angels have fallen at the hands of demons wielding angelic steel before?" Genesis continued…

Her head still hanging in defeat, it was as if Sera had completely given up as she slowly nodded, not saying a single word as Carmilla saw tears beginning to drop onto the surface of Sera's little desk…

Gabriel too was too stunned to speak as he saw the footage on the orb play out.

As Genesis just chuckled, a chuckle that send the hairs on the back of one's neck stand on end "Oh Sera…how you've fallen from grace…..you've become the very thing you once despised…hadn't Lucifer's fall taught you anything?"

Carmilla couldn't watch this anymore as she piped up, her voice stern and direct….

"It was during the extermination. An extermination that was moved up half a year unprovoked. Did you honestly believe that after 10.000 years, we wouldn't try to defend ourselves?!"

Genesis's face pulled into a snarl of pure fury as she whipped out her scythe "Well you disgusting demonic-" but she was cut off by Gabriel "GENESIS, Miss Carmine has a point….the exterminations were canceled for a reason…..besides" as he leaned closer to the 4 winged angel "She is within the angelic court….which means she deserves the chance to speak….that is not for you to decide….so you are well to watch your tone…high executioner…"

The 4 winged angel would narrow her gaze as she sneered "As you wish…" your radiance"….." biting her tongue…

Gabriel would gesture towards Carmilla "Miss Carmine….if you have something to say….you have the floor…."

Gritting her teeth, Carmilla leered at Genesis, who would just return the gesture as she mumbled under her breath "Oh I have several things I'd like to say…..but we're in a courtroom…"
