Ratchet gave me a clean bill of health but told me to take it easy so I don't go into auto shut down again.

"I give you my word, Ratch. I'll take it easy from here on out. Am I free to go?"

"Yes. If you plan to go see those Pit Spawns, please bring them to me. They are due for their annual checkups."

"Will do, Ratch."

I hopped down from the med table. I headed for the med bay doors, then head for the brig. I had to get Sides' side of the story. Especially since I heard Jazz's side from my dad.

"Wolf, where are you going?"

"Go see Sunny and Sides and get their side of the story. Then bring them in for their annual checkup. Wanna come with me, dad?"

"After I get your mother to my room. I'll be there soon."

I nodded then headed to the brig to talk to Sunny and Sides.

I walked through the door of the brig and saw Sides picking at the lock of the brig door.

"I can't believe I caught you trying to break out, Sides."

Sunny looked up and saw me standing there in front of his brothers' brig door.

"Busted. Serves you right, slagger."

I looked over at Sunny. "Ratchet wants you in med bay, Sunny. Your annual checkup is due." Then I let him out.

I watched him head out of the brig area and then turned my attention to Sideswipe.

"You're next, Sides. But first, I wanna hear your side of the story."

"What are you talking about?"

"The reason why Jazz put you and Sunny down here?"

"What have you heard so far?"

"Just what my dad told me. He heard it from Jazz."

"I was glad that you let me have some fun to let off some of my cabin fever steam. I'm sorry I goaded Sunny into it. I know he said he was done with the pranking."

"Why didn't you come to me before hand, Sides? You knew I would talk to Jazz and explain."

"I know and I'm sorry. If you wanted to throw my ass back in here after my checkup, I wouldn't blame you."

"That's up to my dad, not me. He's assuming command for the time being. Him and my mom are here for an overdue vacay."

"Prime is here?"

"That's just what I said, dumbass. Weren't you listening?"

"Wolf, there's no need for name calling."

I looked towards the door and saw my dad walking in.

"Sorry dad."

"Hey Prime. Heard you and Elita are here for a while."

"Yes, we are, Sideswipe. Ratchet wants to see you next."

"And where's Sunny?"

"In his and Sideswipe's room. Sideswipe you are to refrain from pranking ANYONE while I and Elita are here. Is that understood?"

"Yes, Optimus. Its good to see you again."

"Same to you as well."

I let Sides out and he headed for med bay to get his annual checkup.

Prime and I followed shortly after. I chuckled a bit. My dad looked at me.

"What's so funny?"

"Brings me back when they pulled a prank on you."

"I heard you were involved in said prank."

"Me? Hell no. I knew better. I know your temper. As does mom."

"She was NOT happy that day. She really thought you were involved in it too."

"After looking at the security footage, she found out different. I know better than to prank the higher ups."

"You knew I'd hear about it, right?"

"That and I didn't want to report to Prowl."

Prime chuckled a bit. "That's why I let him deal with the punishments. What he has dished out to Sideswipe and Sunstreaker are pure genius. I could never come up with the punishments he did."

"And yet, they still don't learn."

"Nope. So, how's everything since I had put you in command?"

"Other than today, been pretty good. Chromia loves Earth. I think Inferno plans to go to Cybertron and get Firestar, but I'm not sure."

"Isn't he working for the local fire department?"

"Yep. I actually talked with the Fire Captain and he plans to give Inferno a week off. He doesn't know it yet, though."

"He'll be glad for some time off. In fact, I better call him. He needs to come in for his annual checkup."

"Sounds like Ratchet is doing everyone today."

"He is. He also has to make a trip to Cybertron to do everyone there, too."

"I don't envy Magnus then."

"I don't either. What's your plan for today?"

"Chillin', why?"

"I'd like to spend the day with you."

I looked at him weird.

"Is it so wrong for me wanting to spend time with my little girl?"

"Only if you're wanting something from me, dad."

"Now, why would I want anything from you?"

I crossed my arms over my chest and stood there.

"Ok, you got me. I do need something from you. How is it that you and your mother can see right through me?"

"Like mom said, you're a bad liar."

Prime chuckled. "The look in my optics gives it away, doesn't it?"

"Yep. So, what do you need from me, dad?"

"Actually, its what Prowl needs."

"Oh boy. Here it comes."

"Now Wolf. You know Prowl has nothing but respect for you."

"I know. What does he need?"

"He knows that since Mirage left the team, he knew you were the next best sniper here."

"Next best? Excuse me? I was a hell of a lot better than 'Raj."

"Point being, his captain is in need of a sniper for a covert operation."

"You really want to risk the wrath of Ratchet, don't you, dad? Not to mention Jazz."

"I thought you were going to deny Jazz rights to the baby?"

"I'm thinking about aborting it, actually."

Prime looked horrified when I mentioned aborting the baby. He walked away after hearing that. I didn't blame him. Mom and him are against abortion.

Later that day, Ratchet came by my room to see how I was doing and to talk to me about my plan to abort the baby.

Ratchet knocked on my door. "Door's open."

I was watching TV when Ratchet walked in. I didn't need to look to see who came in.

"Hey Ratch. What's up?"

"I won't ask how you knew it was me."

"Everyone walks differently and I can tell who it is by the knock and by their footfalls."

"You picked up a lot from the espionage team over the years. That's impressive. Anyway, thought I'd come by to see how you're doing and to talk to you about aborting the baby."

"My dad talked to you about that, didn't he?"

"Yes, he did. You're lucky I made some time before I have to go to Cybertron to do everyone's annual checkups there."

"Sucks to be Magnus then."

"I have to put him under in order to do his annual checkup. He fidgets too much."

"Really? Interesting."

"Don't go getting any ideas, Wolf."

"Me? Never."

"Yeah, right. You're just as bad as those 2 pit spawns."

"I'm offended, Chet. How could you even say that? I don't prank people. That's Sides. I like to play video games and listen to heavy metal music."

"So, I've heard. Anyway, why do you want to abort the baby? This have to do with what Jazz did?"

"Yep and Prowl's Captain needs a sniper for a covert operation."

"Sounds like you were volunteered without asking you."

"Pretty much. I don't want to risk your wrath if I were to go out and do this."

"You know Prime isn't happy about your decision."

"I know, but if Prowl needs my help, what choice do I have? 'Raj left."

"I didn't know Mirage left."

"I didn't either 'til my dad told me."

"Its your team and you didn't know that Mirage left?"

"Nope. Probably left while my dad was still in command here."

"For as much as I hate to do it as well, I will abort the baby. But only this one time."

Before I spoke, I got a call on my comms.

"Wolf here. What do you need, Prowl?"

"I won't ask how you knew it was me. I called cause I need you to be at the police department in about 20 mins."

I sighed. "Alright Prowl. I'll be there soon."

"Thank you, Wolf." Then I ended the call.

"I guess we better get that abortion done and get you on the road."

"Yep. Tell my dad I'll be home after this is over. I have no idea when that will be, so I don't need anyone calling me. I'll probably be on radio silence the whole time."

"Understood. I'll let him know." Then we left my room and headed for med bay so Ratchet can abort the baby.
