Luca arrived at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport the night after calling Meredith on the phone and his mom crying on his father's shoulders.

Luca called his parents that he arrived in Seattle and went on to their house in Settle. While riding the cab, he texted Meredith.

"Liz, are you still at the hospital?" He texted Meredith. A few seconds later, she replied.

"I'm at home, why?" He then asked the taxi driver to go to Meredith's address.

"You alone? or Amelia and Maggie are there?"

"What's with the questions? And yes, I'm alone with the kids."

"Nothing, it's just mamma, was crying after talking to you, she and papa are planning on following me in Seattle after we settled."

"That's why I feel bad. Can you tell mamma that I'll be okay since you are coming here?"

Shortly after his last reply to Meredith, he arrived at her house.

Luca then carried Meredith into her bedroom and he sat on the bed still holding Meredith, and waiting for her to stop crying.

"Shh it's going to be okay, Liz, I'm right here," Luca told Meredith while kissing her forehead.

After a few minutes, Meredith stopped crying and she was having a hard time staying awake.

"Sleep, Liz, we'll talk tomorrow. I'll be in my room. I love you, Liz."

With that Luca kissed Meredith's forehead and went to the kids' bedrooms and kissed them on the forehead as well. He then entered his room texted his mother and father and then slept.

The next morning, Meredith thought that Luca's arrival was just in her dreams. She then went on with her day, and since Luca was jet-lagged he didn't hear them getting ready for their day.

Meredith arrived just on time after bringing the kids to school. She then saw her sisters and asked about what happened in the hospital while she was at home. While the sisters were updating her, they suddenly stopped and stared at someone behind Meredith.

"Liz, are you trying to hide me? or did you just forget that I was home with you last night?" The person behind Meredith asked.

"Luke?" Meredith was startled.

"Yes, Liz it's me," Luca answered with a chuckle.

Meredith then turned around and saw that it was Luca, and jumped to hug him as if last night was not real.

"You're here, it's not a dream."

"I'm here, you thought that you crying on me was just a dream. Come on Liz, did you miss me that much?" Luca replied teasing Meredith.

"I thought you'll arrive here tomorrow? Mamma called me and told me that after we talked yesterday."

"After your phone call with mamma, she cried on papa, and I decided that you need me."

"Okay." Meredith accepted his explanation.

"Liz, do you want to introduce me to Amelia and Maggie or I'll do it myself?"

"Oh right, Maggie, Amelia this is Michale Luca Grazioli, Chief of Cardio in Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda."
