Episode 2: Walk Like an Egyptian - Part 2

"Let's take a few moments to review some of the features of our aircraft!" Chris opened from the Total Drama Jumbo Jet's first class seating area. "Safety is our number one priority. So please, remain seated with your seatbelt fastened at all times."

"The plane has one exit located here. As we explore exotic destinations, take time to familiarize yourself with the local architecture."

"The world is our playground, but remember. When dividing into teams, be sure to give your crew a catchy handle."

"Upon arrival at our final destination, one lucky competitor will receive a parting gift to remember." The recap footage was replaced by a series of passports appearing on the screen a few at a time, each belonging to one of the contestants: Jasmine, Rodney, and Izzy; then Sam, Gwen, and Brick; then Caleb, Ripper, and Topher; then Heather, Sky and Millie; and finally Scott, Eva, Chase, and Anne Maria. "One! Million! Dol-lars!" the host announced excitedly over a picture of some kind of cart overflowing with cash.

"So stow that carry-on baggage and lock those tray-tables in the upright position. We're taking off for one crazy ride!" The scene flashed to somewhere outside as the host rushed back into view. "Right here, right now, on Total!" a blaring note played as the shot pulled back to show a bit of the desert airstrip. "Drama!" the blaring note repeated as the nose of the plane was shown. "Woooorrrrlllddd~ Tooouuurrrr~!" the final two words were sung, and both jumbo jet and the nearby pyramids were shown in full.

(Theme Song)

The episode began with a shot of the harsh desert sun, the camera promptly panned down to the three teams standing below a tall checkered starting banner. To the left were the five members of Team Warrior. In the middle was Team Explosive. And on the right was Team Super. Each group stood before a round mat in their team's main color, upon which the reward they'd won last episode sat; the stick on gold, the camel on red, the goat on blue.

"Ooh look!" Izzy commented. "Team colors!"

"Why the heckfire is our mat yellow?" Ripper asked. "We're not wimps!"

"Cool down Ripper," Jasmine said, putting a hand on the boy's shoulder. "That's gold. It means that Team Warrior's in first place!"

"I still can't believe MK's departure," Brick commented. "And all because she did not want to sing."

"Maybe she can't sing," Heather said.

"If she wants to quit, then just let her," Izzy added. "After all, it's just one less villain for us to beat."

"You think she's doing okay by herself on that plane?" Rodney asked.

The camera flashed to a shot of the jumbo jet before flashing to the first class area. MK sat there playing a game on her portable handheld.

"Are you sure you won't sing?" Chris said suddenly in the shot.

MK yelled, dropping her handheld. "Don't sneak up on people like that!"

"I pay you," Chris continued. "We're not above making deals with contestants."

"One, I'm above making deals with the producers and hosts just to get my way, and two, I'm not a contestant anymore," MK retorted. "So go back to hosting everyone that still is."

Chris gave the girl an 'I'm watching you' gesture and left. MK rolled her eyes and picked her handheld up off the floor.

Confessional: MK

"Even if I wanted to come back, I know I'll be the first one eliminated," MK said. "Might as well save myself the trouble."

Confessional Ends

"You know," Izzy said as the camera flashed to her walking over to Jasmine, "all the Jasrick fans were devastated when you guys broke up."

"I give them my apologies," Jasmine said. "Me and Brick did like each other, but we couldn't find it in ourselves to see eye-to-eye on most things while we were dating. After talking it out with him, we decided to stay friends."

"That won't stop the fanbase from shipping you two heavily," Izzy giggled. "They even ship me and Ripper despite Ripper no longer having feelings for me."

"Hopefully they're the non-toxic ones," Jasmine replied. "Fan wars are especially common on the internet."

"I can confirm that to be true," Millie agreed as she came over to them. "There were blogs debating on whether Chase should stay with me or date Gwen, even though Chase stopped crushing on Gwen."

They were cut off by the sudden sound of cymbals clanging together. The shot cut behind the contestants to wear Chris, Chef, and a pair of white male interns were. All four men were dressed in stereotypical ancient Egyptian costumes, with Chris and Chef looking to be of higher class. Chris himself was using one of the interns as a seat to eat grapes on, while the other intern fanned him with a leaf. Chef was the cause of the cymbal crash, the instruments still in his hands.

"Mmm, don't know about you guys," Chris said while enjoying his treatment, "but I am loving Egypt." He tossed another grape into his mouth. "And I'm gonna love it even more watching you enjoy your second challenge: The Amazing Camel Race!"

"Where are the other camels?" Sam asked.

"There are no other camels!" Chris said in annoyance. "It's a Camel Race, not a Camels Race!"

"Yes!" Chase cheered.

"What?!" Scott snarled, his team's goat bleating angrily along with him.

"We won last time!" Gwen complained. "But they get a camel, they get a goat and we get a stick?"

"Each reward has its advantages," Chris explained. "Trust me. You'll be racing towards the world's most infamous waterway," he continued over a shot of Team Warrior, "the Nile!" The camera panned over to Team Explosive, and then to Team Super. "Teams must bring their rewards all the way to the finish. You have sixty seconds to strategize!"

"Get on, everybody!" Brick ordered, the cadet already on the camel's hump. "This is a race!"

"We already know that," Heather told the boy. "Don't be so obvious."

"I do want to make my authority well-known this time around," Brick replied as the team got on the camel. Heather took a seat behind Brick, Rodney sat in front of him, and Izzy wrapped herself around the animal's neck.

"Wee, yeah! I get the throat!" Izzy whooped before making strange noises to the camel. "I just introduced myself in Camelese."

"I bet you did?" Rodney told her uncomfortably.

"Hey guys!" Chase got his team's attention. "Where am I going to sit?"

"Just grab on to the camel's butt," Brick ordered.

"Alright," Chase replied and did as he was told. "This will be weird, but I don't want to lose."

Confessional: Brick

"While I did manage to take charge on occasion, I've never been dubbed the official team leader," Brick confessed. "While I am all about the teamwork, I want to embrace my leadership role this time around."

Confessional Ends

"Our goat is too small for all of us to ride it," Millie told Team Super. "Anybody got any ideas?"

"Don't look at me," Scott turned his head.

"I have one," Sky said, "We can all pile on the goat. We do need to balance ourselves just for it to work."

"Not to doubt you or anything, but I'm not exactly normal-sized," Caleb said.

"If he gets on the goat's back, it may break and slow us down," Anne Maria added.

"I don't want the goat to get hurt," Sky realized her flaw. "One of you will just have to run by us."

"I'll do it," Caleb agreed. "I have good leg coordination."

"This idea might work for the best," Sam commented.

Confessional: Sky

"As much as I don't trust Caleb, I don't want him to have to run the whole time," Sky said. "But if he's able to keep up with us like he claims he can do, then I'll have no reason to worry."

Confessional: Caleb

"I feel like I can get along with my teammates," Caleb said. "They all seem pretty nice enough. Well, except for Scott," he added with a grimace. "He and MK caused a lot of eliminations in their seasons, and I don't feel like going home early because of him."

Confessionals End

"Why are you looking at the stick like that?" Topher asked as soon as he saw Eva inspecting the team stick.

"I know this stick from somewhere," Eva said. "I just can't put my mind on it."

"Everyone be careful," Jasmine instructed her team. "My folks told me all about how there are apparently sand snakes everywhere in Egypt."

This caused Topher to gasp in panic and Ripper to land in Eva's arms. The minute this happened, Eva glared at the bully's smile and dropped him to the floor.

"Everyone chill out!" Gwen ordered. "The snakes aren't going to attack us. We just have to run away in order to prevent it from happening."

"Yeah, you're right," Ripper said. "But why can't we stomp on them so they won't bother us again?"

"Do you want to tick off animal activists?" Gwen asked rhetorically.

"Touche," Ripper nodded.

Confessional: Jasmine

"My team consists of two season winners, Topher, Gwen, and me," Jasmine listed out. "Me, Gwen, and Topher haven't won a season like Ripper and Eva, but we did make the merge at least once, so that should count for something."

Confessional Ends

Back on Team Power, Anne Maria and Scott were sitting on the goat's back as Sam sat on top of Anne Maria and Millie sat on top of Scott.

"Sam, Millie, stay on the top," Sky said. "We can't harm the goat that way."

"We got it," Millie spoke cheerfully. "It's not weight shaming or anything."

"Yeah, this is gonna work," Scott sarcastically said.

"Have faith in the plan," Sky chided. "Caleb, get me to the top."

Caleb held out his hands for Sky to stand on. When she was positioned, Caleb lifted her to the sky. Sky did a backflip before landing on Sam and Millie's backs.

"And with that, we are perfectly balanced," Anne Maria said.

"A'ight," Chris told the cast, "Nile's thataway." He used one of his hands to shield the sun from his eyes. "Kinda big, blue, and watery," the perspective changed to show the sun over a vast expanse of sand, "can't miss it. Or I guess you can," the host added as the camera panned back across the group. Chef was next to a large urn, Chris was standing on top of his intern seat, and the three teams were waiting by the starting line. "But then you'll die. Prob'ly get killed by the local scarab beetles. It's mating season and they get all...killy...when they're in heat."

"I am glad there aren't any out here," Topher commented. "Those things are nasty."

"I'll tell them you said that," Chris said with a smile as Chef promptly pushed over the large vase. A swarm of small black beetles immediately crawled out of it, and they quickly made their way across the sands. The intern Chris was standing on gasped and bit his lip as the scarabs started crawling up him, then both Topher and the rest of Team Warrior were shown recoiling and dancing in fear of the beetles that were surrounding them. A quick-pan showed all the members of Team Explosive to be screaming; then the camera cut to Anne Maria screaming on the goat's back while Caleb jumped and clung onto Sam for support.

The host laughed. He was standing safely on top of the skeleton of the former intern, while Chef was standing on the overturned vase. However, there wasn't a scarab in sight. Then a pair of dings accompanied the appearance of a circular music note logo in the top-right corner of the screen.

"Ooh, time for a song!" the host announced excitedly. "Think of it as a mini-challenge," he continued as Team Warrior was shown, Topher standing on top of Eva and Ripper in Jasmine's arms with Gwen on Jasmine's back. "Music can soothe the savage mate-seeking scarab, so, make up a good song and maybe they won't kill ya. Or don't," the shot cut to Team Explosive on their camel, "and get disqualified like MK."

"Yay!" Izzy cheered while her teammates groaned.

The pyramid took over the scene as a slow love song started playing. Chase into view in front of the pyramid, then Sam, Scott, Caleb, and Topher slid in front of him, snapping their fingers to the beat as the scene behind them turned black. The beetles were shown crawling along the ground in columns, the camera panning back up to show the five boys, minus Topher, lined up and doing their thing.

"No need to get crazy. It's lovin' time at la~ast!" Topher sang as he slid into the foreground on the right. Just as smoothly as he appeared, he dropped down out of view.

"You don't wanna eat us up!" The fanboy slid back to the snapping boys and all five sang as one.

"So please just let us pass!" Rodney added as he popped up in the foreground next to where Topher was. A few scarabs crawled up on him and added "Oh yes!" while frantically trying to brush them off.

Three rows of scarabs took over the screen, the middle one heading right while the other two went left.

"It's mating time for scarabs!" Eva, Gwen, and Jasmine sang, scrolling down from the top left in an inset scene while snapping to the beat.

"So whatcha waitin' on?" Millie added, a close-up of her moving two beetles close together with her hands scrolling in from the right.

"Just ignore us hu-mans!" Izzy sang, the wild child's inset scrolling up on the right while a whistling Sam's scrolled down on the left.

"And make out 'til the break of dawn!" Everyone sang as the scene dissolved into a close-up of a single pair of scarabs as every contestant appeared in a ring around the screen and then a heart overtook the screen.

"It's lovin' time!" Caleb, Sam, and Scott sang as the heart faded to a scene of two scarabs forming heart-shapes with their antennae and nuzzling each other.

"Lovin' time Lovin ti~ime!" Eva, Gwen, and Jasmine sang as the scene continued.

"Scarab matin' season!" Scott sang a solo.

"It's lovin' time (Lovin' time Lovin' ti~ime)!" Sam and Scott sang together as the shot cut to Scott watching the scarabs. The shot cut to Eva, Gwen, and Jasmine as they sang the second part.

"Scarabs. Get busy now," Caleb commanded as he stood in the foreground in front of the girls.

"It's lovin' ti~i~ime!" Ripper sang over a shot of even more scarabs pairing up, hearts forming in their eyes.

"Lovin' time Lovin' ti~ime (Scarab mating season)!" Eva, Gwen, and Jasmine sang as the scene continued. As they held out the last note, the rest of the cast sang the second part of the line.

"It's lovin' ti~i~ime!" (Lovin' time Lovin' ti~ime)!" Sam, then the rest of Team Super, sang as they were shown slowly walking away.

"Scarab mating season!" The cast all sang as one as the background returned to normal.

"Seasonal- no no wait!" Brick said and caused the music to suddenly stop. But it was too late. A few psycho-like notes played and the formerly pacified scarab beetles turned their attention back to the humans.

The cast promptly ran screaming, with Brick lagging behind just long enough for a few scarabs to start crawling up him.

"Nice one!" Chris said with a wide grin. He held up an air horn, then yelled "Go!" as he blew it. The teams were shown doing just that. Team Super were the first out on foot with them on the goat and Caleb running by them, then Team Explosive on their camel, and lastly Team Warrior on foot getting chased by the insect swarm.

"Who's gonna die?" Chris asked the camera as it cut back to him. "And who's goin' buh-bye? Find out after the break, on Total! Drama! World Tour. Chachacha!" He stage-whispered the last two words in tune with the rattling Western-styled music that played.

(Commercial Break)

The episode returned to a shot of the scorching sun, the camera quickly pulling back to show Team Explosive and Super on their camel and goat as it walked out of the shot.

"Can you go a little faster?" Rodney asked the camel as the shot cut back to Team Explosive.

"I know from experience how to handle this," Brick said. He cleared his throat and yelled "Hustle!"

"Much better," Heather snarked.

"Guys, keep it down, okay?" Izzy told her team. "I'm trying to tell her a fairy tale." She made camel noises to their camel and chuckled. "Priceless."

"How's it going back there Chase?" Brick checked up.

The shot cut to the stunt boy, who was occasionally getting hit on the head by the camel's tail. "Thanks for asking. I'm still hanging on, but I hope it doesn't go number three."

"We're gonna go win the race now!" Heather taunted the members of Team Super.

"Sorry," Brick added, "but I have to agree with Heather here."

"No thank you," Anne Maria taunted back as the camera cut to her and her team riding the goat as Caleb ran. "That's going to be your job soon."

"Hope you guys like eating sand, because that's what you'll all be doing after you lose!" Scott grinned. "Sand is less tasty than dirt, and I know from experience!"

"Enough making fun of each other," Sky ceased. "Let's focus on actually beating them."

Confessional: Sky

"Trash talking is not in my blood," Sky mentioned. "I'm not like those jocks who are hooked on bad sportsmanship."

Confessional Ends

"Can you see the Nile, Izzy?" Brick asked as the footage cut back to Team Explosive looking around.

"No, not yet," Izzy said and played with the camel's mouth.

"It has to be around here," Rodney griped.

The scene went back to Team Super as Caleb perked up and pointed to the right. "I found the Nile. Let's go that way," he announced, the viewpoint changing to show a few strands of palm trees along with a hint of blue and a finish line banner in the distance past some sand dunes.

The shot cut to Chase as he looked behind him, but as a quick perspective change showed, there looked to be nothing but desert nearby. "Where's Team Super at?" he asked before the camel raised its tail. "No no no. Not right now!"

The camera cut to the other members of the team cringing in disgust as the telltale sounds of steamy farts were heard.

Confessional: Caleb

"I could've told the other team where the finish was," Caleb confessed as he leaned against the door of the restroom. "But we do need every advantage we can get."

Confessional Ends

The footage resumed with a human skull laying ominously on the sand in the foreground before the camera panned over to the members of Team Explosive.

"Guys?" Chase said uncertainly. "The other team's gone. We're all alone out here."

"Does anyone know where we are?" Heather asked.

"Planet Earth, silly," Izzy goofed around.

"Now's not the time to goof around, Izzy," Rodney scolded her. "We're lost!"

The scene flashed to a close-up of Topher's legs as he ran through the desert, the camera soon panning up to show the rest of him. "Wow," he panted. "We're so far behind we can't even see the others anymore!"

The shot zoomed out even more, showing him at the back of Team Warrior's pack. Gwen and Ripper were ahead of him, and Eva and Jasmine were out in front by a couple feet.

"Didn't we pass that cactus ten minutes ago?" Jasmine complained.

Gwen stopped running. "We've been running in circles!"

The other teens immediately skidded to a stop and groaned.

The scene flashed back to Team Super as they got up to the bank of the Nile.

"There's the finish line!" Millie said, pointing across the water.

"Yeah, on the other side!" Sam said, the camera moving closer to the water to show Chris and Chef lounging on the far bank under the finish banner. Several crocodiles surfaced or jumped out of the water.

"Welcome to the third challenge!" Chris yelled.

"What?" Anne Maria yelled back. "Speak up!" The camera panned to the side, showing the faraway host yelling something that couldn't quite be made out. "Did you guys get any of that?" the tanned girl turned back and asked her team.

The shot cut to Chris, who now looked annoyed. He snapped his fingers and was handed an oversized megaphone, which was promptly pointed at the river.

"I said, welcome to the third and final Egyptian challenge!" he repeated at a volume that shook the ground and blew back Team Super's hair. "'Basket Cases'! Each team must weave a basket of river reeds," Chris continued as the camera panned down to the reedy bank. "Your basket has to be big enough to hold your whole team, including your reward from the last challenge, a.k.a. Goat Face over there!"

"What did you just call me?!" Scott called out in offense.

"He meant our goat, not you," Caleb said.

The camera cut to the animal, who was chewing away at some reeds.

"Oh," Scott said blankly. "Okay then."

"Then you're gonna use the baskets together with those oars," Chris continued as the focus moved to a group of wooden oars leaning against a nearby tree, "to row yourself across the finish line. First team across flies first class to our next destination."

"This is good for us," Millie said.

"What? The fact that we're hosed?" Sam asked.

"I was in the girl scouts when I was little, and I got a badge in basket weaving," Millie said.

"Nice!" Anne Maria smiled and grabbed a handful of reeds.

"We'll need a lot of reeds," Millie ran to the field and grabbed all that she could find.

Another flash took the scene to some sort of animal skull lying on the sand, the camera panning over to show the five members of Team Warrior sitting the desert with despair on their faces.

"Lost in Egypt," Jasmine complained. "Ain't that just a dingo's dinner?!"

"From first place to last," Ripper lamented. With a cry of "Great!", he threw the stick onto the ground and it started to vibrate.

"It's a divining rod!" Eva said in realization. "I knew something about it seemed familiar."

"What's a divining rod exactly?" Topher asked.

"A divining rod helps you find water," Gwen explained.

"Chris did say the rewards had their advantages," Eva mused. "That stick could lead us into the Nile."

The five teens stood up and cheered.

The scene changed back to Team Explosive, where three of them argued over directions, Chase looked dejected, and Izzy stayed positive.

"Hey, guys," Izzy stopped them. "Why don't we ask Ruby?" She spoke to the camel in her language, causing the camel to grunt. "There. Shouldn't be long now."

The team has changed directions and went the opposite way. "The camel changing direction was likely a coincidence," Brick said.

"It probably wants to look for a place to die," Heather muttered.

"What's that?!" Rodney pointed in their direction.

"The finish line!" Everyone except Rodney and Izzy gasped.

"Weird. I asked Ruby where we could get some lemonade. But this is okay too, I guess. Want me to tell her to hurry up? Okay." Izzy continued with her camel noises.

The scene flashed back to Team Super, who were already about halfway done weaving a canoe made of reeds. The camera panned to the left as Team Explosive rode into the scene, the camel quickly skidding to a stop on the sandy riverbank.

"Basket-weave a boat?" Brick asked as Chase got off the camel.

"Sorry you guys are way behind us," Millie told Izzy as she came to her. "Our basket is almost done thanks to my girl scout training."

"Plus, you got Caleb on your team. Lucky," Izzy said.

"But you have Chase," Millie told her as Chase walked into view. "I wish we were on the same team."

"So do I," Chase chuckled and left.

"You guys are so cute together," Izzy commented.

"Maybe we could swap teams!" Millie suggested.

"I can deal with someone less crazy and more sane," Heather shrugged.

"Positive," Brick agreed. "Millie, come aboard. Izzy, you're discharged."

"This nutcase is on my team!?" Scott gaped as Millie went to basket weave a boat for her new team, impressing them.

"That requires a lot of talent," Rodney said.

"It was my idea to agree to switching the girls," Brick prided himself.

"Where's Chris? I want him to allow the team swap," Chase looked around.

The host then stood atop a boat Chef was driving to them. "'Scuse me, did somebody call me?" Chris happily wondered.

"You have to let me and Millie switch teams," Izzy rushed over to him and spoke fast. "It may be on such notice, but you've never had a team swap members. Just let me go to Team Super! Letmeletmeletmeletmeletmeletme-!"

"If it will shut you up, then you two can switch teams," Chris announced. "As of right now, Izzy is on Team Super and Millie is on Team Explosive."

"Thank you!" Millie waved goodbye to the departing host and went to her new team.

"I guess it'll be nice to have you aboard?" Sam spoke curiously.

"You betcha!" Izzy winked.

"Do you have any basket weaving skills?" Sky wondered.

"You don't even need to ask. Let's finish this boat," Izzy beamed.

Meanwhile, Millie put the last reed on Team Explosive's boat, reaching its conclusion. "Done!"

"Go Team Explosive!" the team members boasted.

"We can't give up just because we want to whine!" Anne Maria ordered her team.

"We weren't planning on it," Caleb said. "Keep on working, everybody."

Confessional: Izzy

"I will miss being on a team that I came up with an awesome name for, but I don't want Millie to be separated from Chase again," Izzy quipped. "Think of how wild the fan blogs would go over that."

Confessional Ends

The footage cut to Team Warrior finally arriving on the scene, skidding to a stop. "We still have a shot," Eva said.

A screech of feedback got their attention, and the shot cut across the river to Chris and Chef lounging on the far bank, the host using the former intern's skeleton as a footrest while Chef used a living intern. "Weave a basket boat out of reeds, row to the finish, yadda yadda yadda..." Chris said in a bored tone.

"You heard the man," Ripper told his teammates. "Get to it!" They immediately ran off to the river.

The members of Team Explosive were on their boat, though Rodney was missing. "Rodney, let's go!" Brick called out to the boy trying to pull their camel.

"It's not too much trouble!" Rodney grunted as he was trying to move the camel. "Just get in the boat!"

"Maybe if we push…" Millie got behind the camel and pushed its back, but only face planted into it after trying.

"Izzy, tell Ruby to get in the boat!" Heather told her former teammate.

Izzy was about to do so, but Scott stopped her. "Hold up. Izzy's on our team now, not yours." He faced Izzy. "Now I want you to go three minutes keeping your mouth shut."

"Ooh, fun!" Izzy agreed to it.

"We have to do it ourselves," Brick groaned. "Come on."

Team Explosive were pulling their camel, and even then, it still didn't budge.

"Who needs a stick when you're Team Warrior?" Topher said as they were almost finished with their boat.

"Lucky for you guys, I know my way around weaving," Jasmine bragged.

"To the water!" Sky instructed her team to get on their finished boat.

"It floats! Awesome!" Sam cheered while Caleb grabbed their goat and got on the boat.

Back to Team Explosive, they still couldn't pull their camel. "This is totally unfair. If it wasn't for that swap, we'd be halfway across the Nile by now!" Heather grumbled.

Team Super were paddling their boat on the water while Caleb held their goat. "I know we'll win fair and square, but don't you think we should help the other team get their camel into their boat?"

Anne Maria rolled her eyes. "Okay, but we better put some muscle into our paddling! Izzy, talk to the camel."

"Yeah, okay!" Izzy made her camel noises, and to Team Explosive's relief, the camel got on their boat.

"Everything's all settled for," Chase told his team while on the boat. "Now paddle!"

Confessional: Chase

"Having to sit behind the camel's butt was disgusting," Chase winced, "but now I can ignore that with Millie on my team for the first time since ever."

Confessional Ends

The camera cut to Chris and Chef on the opposite bank. "Well now," the host told his companion, "clearly this part of the challenge isn't hard enough. Sooo..."

The 'music' icon appeared in the corner of the screen with its usual dings.

"Time for a musical reprise!" Chris announced joyfully.

"Aaww!" the majority of the cast groaned.

"Hey," Chris told the teams, "if the song wasn't messed up earlier, than you wouldn't be here! So start singin'!" Chris called out with a grin. "And put your backs into it!"

An up-tempo version of the love song that had been used for the earlier musical number began to play as the contestants looked behind them to a group of crocodiles rising to the surface.

"Mm mmm. Crocodile guys, what'cha swarmin' for?" Caleb opened with a worried look on his face, singing to the nearest crocodiles from the back of Team Super's boat which was already in motion. The camera briefly panned forward to show Sam and Sky pausing to beat a couple crocodiles with oars as the reptiles poked their heads up and snapped their jaws.

"We don't want to hurt you!" Millie sang as the camera panned further ahead to Team Explosive, a couple more crocodiles jumping over their boat and snapping at the camel.

"So let us reach the shore!" Chase finished as they frantically paddled. The camel honked twice in beat with the music.

"These crocs are getting feisty!" Gwen sang worriedly as the camera focused on Team Warrior as they paddled.

"Just give 'em a bop on the no~ose! If we do that, then they'll let us go!" Jasmine sang as Eva and Topher whacked the reptiles snapping at them. The camera cut to Ripper trying the same thing with the stick, but a crocodile jumped out of the water and scared him. This caused him to drop the stick into the river.

"It's rowin' time!" Caleb sang as Team Super was shown leaving the screen.

"Vanquishin' Vanquishin'!" Team Explosive chorused as they paddled into the shot.

"Crocodile Season!" The cast sang as one.

"It's rowin' time!" Ripper sang as Team Explosive paddled out and Team Warrior paddled in.

"Crocodiles, crocodiles!" The rest of Team Warrior sang as the reptiles chomped the front and back of their boat.

"Look at that! We're sinkin"!" Ripper added as they started to sink.

"Yeah it's rowin' time!" Rodney sang as the camera cut back to Team Explosive.

"Sinkin' in! Sinkin' in!" The team chorused as they paddled up to Team Super.

"Crocodile Season!" The cast sang as one.

"It's rowin' time!" Caleb sang as they sped up their paddling.

"Rowin' time, rowin' time!" The rest of Team Super chorused.

"'Til Team Supers'!" Anne Maria sang, holding the note as the music hung and her boat reached the finish line on the other shore, the six teens quickly running out with their goat. Team Explosive followed seconds after, and Team Warrior seconds after that.

"Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin!" Team Super sang together as the shot panned out. Anne Maria and Caleb stood in the middle with their arms stretched out, Izzy and Scott flanked them with Sam and Sky on the outside, and the music came to an end.

"Congrats!" Chris said as he walked up to the three teams. "You're alive. And, as long as you all brought your rewards across the finish line, there will be no elimination tonight." All the contestants immediately began to cheer, with two exceptions.

"Ripper, where's the stick?" Eva asked.

"It's," Ripper said sheepishly, "at the bottom of the river."

The camera pulled back, showing the rest of Team Warrior groaning.

Chris laughed. "Wow, sucks to be you!"

Confessional: Rodney

"My team didn't lose, but we also didn't win," Rodney slowly spoke out. "I guess it's a lose-win for us. Maybe."

Confessional Ends

The scene flashed to the beating sun as the Total Drama Jumbo Jet flew up into view, and the camera cut inside to the elimination room. Chris was standing at a podium behind a short and uneven wooden partition that Chef was standing outside of. MK stood next to the exit door and the five losers were seated in wooden bleachers on the right wall under a straw overhang; Gwen and Topher were on the top row and Ripper, Jasmine, and Eva were on the bottom.

"Team Warrior," Chris said, "you came in last and lost your reward on the way...Ripper." He gave the boy a quick narrow-eyed look before resuming his usual manner. "So, it's vote time! Up in the loser class bathroom you'll find five passports."

"Unless Ripper tossed those in the Nile too," Gwen said offhandedly.

"Didn't I apologize for that?" Ripper huffed.

"Stamp the passport of the team member you'd like to send home," Chris explained. "You guys got that?"

"How dumb do you think we are?" Eva said in minor offense.

Voting Confessional: Eva

The Muscle Woman was shown in the confessional stamping Topher's passport with a shrug.

Voting Confessional: Ripper

The Bully was second, smiling as he held up Topher's passport and stamped it.

Voting Confessional: Gwen

The next voter was The Goth, who stamped Ripper's passport with a frown.

Voting Confessional: Jasmine

The Outback Girl was looking at the passports until Chris came in to remind her to hurry up.

Voting Confessional: Topher

Finally, The Fanboy was shown. He was brushing his hair for a bit and applied a spray of breath freshener into his mouth before he looked at the passports and stamped Ripper's.

Voting Confessionals End

The footage cut back to a close-up of several passports in Chris' hand. "I've got the results of your vote right here," he said as the camera zoomed out. "Those staying in the game will get in-flight snacks," he explained as he held up a bag of peanuts that seemed to have something coating its bottom. "Mmm, hmhmm! Barfy!" Chris laughed, taking a quick whiff of the bag.

"The following players are safe," he announced as the shot cut back to the contestants. "Eva, Gwen, Jasmine!" One by one, the three caught the peanut-filled barf bags as they were thrown to them. "And, the last bag of peanuts goes to..." The bottom two were shown in close-ups, Topher going wide-eyed with fear while Ripper raised an eyebrow.

"Topher!" The fanboy grinned as he caught his snacks.

"Wait, what now?" Ripper said in confusion as he stood up.

"You've got five seconds to strap this on," Chris told him with a parachute pack in his hand, "or the Drop of Shame will become the Drop of Pain… is what I would've said if this was not a fake elimination episode!" He put down the pack and threw a barf bag towards Ripper with a short laugh.

"I'm not getting eliminated this episode?!" Ripper said as he caught his snacks. "But we lost our stick."

"I know that, but I don't feel like booting you out when you didn't even know about the rule before losing the stick," Chris said with a grin. "Just accept my moment of kindness before I change my mind."

"Wow," MK spoke up. "That's something I didn't see coming at all."

"Final stop for all non-competitors," Chris said with a grin as he handed a parachute to the AV girl.

"But I wasn't voted out!" MK retorted. "And weren't you giving me a ride home?"

"True," Chris said. "But this plane is for contestants only, so..." he pushed the girl out of the plane and smiled at her scream of terror.

The camera cut to the still-open door of the plane where Chris was sticking his head out to watch MK's fall. "Happy landings!" he called out with a mocking grin. He started to laugh, the viewpoint changed to show MK falling to the ground while holding her parachute.

Confessional: Ripper

"That was a close one," Ripper said while wiping off sweat from his forehead. "I wasn't ready to be eliminated in just the second episode of the season."

Confessional: Heather

"So as it turns out, we're still at sixteen contestants," Heather complained in the confessional. "Worse of all, we're not even in first class!" she ranted before calming down. "That aside, I do have an advantage in the game with being a newbie in that none of these morons know a thing about me because compared to me, MK and Scott are butterflies!"

Confessionals End

"Finally, a real competitor," Chris, now wearing an old-fashioned pilot's uniform, said from the cockpit. "Where will our next destination take us, and will Team Super continue to stay at six members? Find out next time, on an all-new episode of Total! Drama!" The shot quickly cut to a side-view of the flying jumbo jet, then pulled back slightly for the final part. "World Tour!"

(Bonus Clip)

"This is not how I planned on leaving," MK said, putting on her parachute while falling. "But I'm far away from singing when I don't feel like it." She activated the chute and fell more gently.

"I could have waited until we lost and had my team vote for me," she considered. "But that could've taken long, and it would have been too easy. Either way, I'm free from Chris and completely safe."

She fell out of frame and the camera panned down to show her dangling over the ground while suspended from a tree. Her eyes widened as the ground was overcome by "Scarabs!"
